Hey everyone, welcome back tothe Manifesting Latina podcast
with me, your host.

Today, I will be talking to youabout something that is so
important when you are workingon manifesting, and that is how
to set intention, and I'm goingto talk a little bit about
setting them with the new moon,although I will set the
disclaimer now you do not needto set intentions with the new
moon, although it can help, allright.

So welcome back everyone.
This is your sacred space toexplore manifestation, healing,
astrology and inner alignmentwith me, your host, dr Norma
Reyes, and today we're divinginto how to set powerful
intentions using the energy ofthe new moon, but also how to
trust your inner guidance aboveall else.

(01:49):
Okay, so let's start withwhat's an intention.
An intention isn't a to-do listitem.
It's an energy, a direction, adeclaration of how you want to
feel and grow.
Intentions guide our focus.
They shape your actions andripple into your manifestations.

So why the new moon?
The new moon is a potent timeto plant seeds.
It's dark, quiet inward, acosmic clean slate.
So, energetically, it's theperfect moment to pause, reflect
and choose where you're headingnext.
Every new moon begins a cyclethat blooms over the next six

(02:36):
months, especially when you'realigning with your deeper self.
But here's the key you don'tneed it to be perfect.
You don't have to followastrology to the letter or
moonology.
You can simply listen to yourintuition.
Your inner knowing is alwaysthe most accurate guide, despite
what's going around.
You use your rising sign to lookat which house the moon is

(03:07):
activating in your birth chart.
I send emails out every newmoon and full moon with guidance
on how the moon is lighting updifferent areas of your life,
based on your rising sign.
So if you are not on my emaillist, right now is a good time
to make sure that you are andyou go and get in the email list
so that you have thosereminders in your inbox, and
making it easy.
And this is based on yourrising sign.

And if you're like that soundslike a lot right now, I am going
to be giving you some basicshere.
So our current new moon thatjust happened over the weekend
is the new moon in Taurus.
So this earthy sign is aboutstability, self-worth, finances,
values and sensual pleasure.

(03:48):
So you can forget trying toconnect with your rising sign
information if you're like allof that is so confusing.
You can simply work with thenew moon and its energy directly
.
So some intentions to considerwith the new moon in Taurus is I
intend to feel grounded andsecure in my finances.
I intend to create routinesthat support my nervous system.

(04:09):
I intend to trust in my worthwithout overworking.
So that would be intentionsthat you would set now, this
month, the month of April, goinginto May, and then, you know,
looking for it to flourish overthe next six months.
Now the next new moon, the newmoon in Gemini, will fall in May

(04:32):
, towards the end of May in 2025, because that changes every
year.
I just wanted to make thatclarification.
So, with the new moon in Gemini, the Gemini energy brings
curiosity, communication,learning and flexibility and
intentions that someone wouldconsider during that time.
If you again are only using thenew moon energy in Gemini is in

(04:53):
setting intentions to speakyour truth with clarity and
compassion, intending to explorenew ideas and follow your
curiosity.
Intending to explore new ideasand follow your curiosity.
Intending to release,overthinking and trusting your
voice.
Okay, so that is some exampleson the new moon and how to just
focus on the new moon energy.
For that lunation Keep wantingto say the month, but the new

moons really don't follow ourcalendar months and that new
moon energy and it's going untilthe next new moon, which is at
the end of May of 2025.
Okay, then we have a full mooncoming up in about two weeks and
that is going to be in Scorpio.
That Scorpio energy is abouttransformation, emotional debt

(05:35):
and releasing what no longerserves you.
Now, before I dive into what todo in during that time, during
full moons, full moons are likea culmination.
So these are intentions.
If you think of like fullcircle, then these would be new
moon intentions you set inNovember when the new moon was
in Scorpio.
So if you set any intentions,or if you can just reflect back

(05:58):
to what you were doing orthinking in November, if you
have a journal, pull it out andgo look what intentions that you
set any intentions or if youcan just reflect back to what
you were doing or thinking inNovember, if you have a journal,
pull it up and go look whatintentions that you set there.
What were you hoping to do overthose six months after setting
the intentions of the new moonin Scorpio?
Now, if you didn't don't stressout, don't freak out it doesn't
mean that you did anythingwrong.
But that is how working withthe new moon and setting

(06:18):
intentions with it is.
You set the intentions duringthe new moon of that sign.
For example, what I'm talkingabout right now is Scorpio, and
then now it's been six monthslater and you are getting to the
culmination of that full moon,particularly in Scorpio, and
then you are releasing what isno longer serving you, either

(06:39):
because it's not helping youmeet your intentions or just in
general need to release certainthings about that right, and
over those six months thosethings could have come up for
you, things that you're like oh,these are things that I need to
let go in order to manifest orhave the life that I desire.
So so now back to Scorpio.
Scorpio energy is abouttransformation, emotional depth,

(07:02):
releasing what no longer servesus.
What this means for you is thatthis is a powerful time to
release old fears, shame andhidden emotional baggage.
Some general prompts that youcan do for this coming up full
moon in Scorpio is what truth amI ready to own?
What emotion have I beenavoiding that's ready to be seen
and healed?
So those are examples for theupcoming full moon in Scorpio.

(07:23):
And, like I said, if you arenot on my email list, you should
be, because I will be sendingemails like this every single
month and it'd be a time toreflect and release and remind
you of like oh, it's now thefull moon in Scorpio, oh, no,
it's the full moon inSagittarius, which is gonna be
in June.
All of these things that arehappening and I know it's a lot.

(07:44):
I know when I first started inmoonology I wanted to do all the
things and it can becomeoverwhelming.
So when you keep it simple,when you have someone just
guiding you along the way, itmakes things so much easier
versus trying to, like consumeit all, do it all, and then
you're like, oh my gosh, I can'tdo this, and then you put a
pause because you hit theburnout wall.

(08:05):
And then you find yourself kindof back to square one in a few
months because you still want todo it, but you took on too much
at once.
And so you know the toolsaround you.
If you have, like I said, aguide that can help you along
the way, such as myself, I'msending those emails out already
.
They're free, they don't costyou anything and they are

(08:25):
reminders of where the moon'senergy is, okay Now, if you're
like.
But I just want to setintentions right now.
Awesome, because we are goingto be doing that just now.
So here's an intentions exerciseand grab your journal or open
your notes app, take a deepbreath and release clear, get

(08:47):
yourself centered here in thismoment and ask yourself what is
one thing I want to shift orcall in over the next 21 to 30
days?
What is one thing I want toshift or call in over the next
21 to 30 days?
And so this is a short termgoal intention for you to set

(09:12):
Maybe.
Perhaps you just want to overthe next 21 to 30 days is start
a workout routine.
Very simple, right, like okay,what can I do to start moving my
body?
And something that actually Ijust did this last month or
beginning last month, was a 30day challenge, and for me it's
like I hadn't been getting backto being as active as I wanted.

(09:34):
I would create workout plansand I just was not sticking to
them at all, like I just couldnot get myself in it.
And this is where I say, likeif you can find a guide and a
guide isn't just a person, itcould literally be YouTube
videos which is what I did and Iam about to be done this week
with a 30 day challenge ofworkout, and I'm so proud of

(09:55):
myself because I stuck with itwhen I've been trying to follow
my own guidance, and what I meanby that is like I created
workout plans and I'm going todo this, and then things would
just get in the way.
I still have the exact sametime that I have had in these
last month, except that now Ijust open up my laptop, push
play on the YouTube and hit thenext day, and hit the next day,

(10:18):
and some of them have been up tolike 25, almost 30 minutes, and
I in the past would have beenlike I don't have time for a 30
minute workout, oh, I can't dothis today because of this and
that, and so I'm really proud ofmyself for sticking to it.
But the most important thingwas having someone else just
tell me what to do, even if it'sjust YouTube, and so that has
also helped me get back on trackin the way of my fitness that

(10:42):
I've wanted to Like.
I started looking at differentworkout classes I can take, both
in person and virtually, andhow to fit that into my schedule
and how to make that priorityversus like, oh, the boys have
this, so I can't do that.
So when you are setting thisintention, this one thing you
want to shift, allow it to besomething that you're going to

(11:02):
work on, but you're going to beflexible with getting there.
It's going to be things like,like I said, like maybe you want
to shift in and start a workoutplan and you can find something
on YouTube or find someone onInstagram or find a challenge.
I feel like challenges cansometimes push us there, but I
also want you to remember thatjust pick one thing, because if
you try to like, oh, I'm goingto change my eating habits and

(11:23):
I'm going to work out, and thenyou know, like all of these
things pile on and then you justcan't focus on them.
Okay, the next question is goingto be what is something I want
to expand into or achieve withinthe next six months?
What is something I want toexpand into or achieve within
the next six months so this canbe again now, something

(11:46):
long-term like maybe over thenext six months, you want to
develop and grow your business?
Maybe over the next six monthsyou want to shift your career?
Maybe over the next six months,you want to be more open to
finding a new relationship ordating, or whatever it is right.
Or maybe you want to startfocusing on your finances for

(12:06):
the short term.
For the long term whatever itis right.
Or maybe you want to startfocusing on your finances for
the short term.
For the long term, whatever itis, what is something that you
want to expand into or achievewithin the next six months?
So write down at least oneshort term and one long-term
intention.
Keep it simple, specific andemotionally resonant meaning.
You know, make sure that it'ssomething that's exciting to you

(12:27):
, because if it's not exciting,then you're not going to have
that motivation to continuegoing right, and it has to be
something coming from within.
So take a moment to think aboutwhat do you want to shift and
bring in over the next 21 to 30days?
And then what's something morelong term, and they can be
related or they cannot know.
They can be two separate things.

(12:47):
So a 21 to 30 day intentioncould be like I intend to start
my mornings with calm andclarity through five minutes of
meditation, and a six monthintention can be I intend to
build a soul aligned businessthat supports my family and my
joy.
So, if you feel blocked, comeback to your bra, take a few
nice clearing breaths, take onein pause and release and ask

(13:13):
yourself what does my soul needright now?
The answer will guide you.
Now.
If you feel like I don't know,which sometimes happens, I want

(13:36):
you to write down that questionwhat does my soul need right now
?
On a sticky or on a scrap pieceof paper, and I want you to
just have that with you.
If you're like I cannot thinkabout this or I'm trying, but I
keep feeling like a blank, takethat with you.
You know, have it on your desk,have it where you work and then

(13:56):
let the answer come to you.
And something fun.
If you are like, okay, I'm opento being a little woo-woo here,
take that question and put itunder your pillow.
If you truly feel like I don'tknow, or things aren't coming in
, or you feel like I don't havethe mental space or capacity to
do this right now, but I reallywant to, you can even write down

(14:17):
all three questions and putthem on a piece of paper, put
them under your pillow and,before going to bed, just remind
yourself that the questions arethere and that your
subconscious mind is going towork on these, and when you're
ready, you're going to get thedivine inspiration on these
intentions.
So remember, you areco-creating your life in every

(14:38):
moment.
Your intentions aren't justwishful thinking.
They're energetic blueprintsfor who you are becoming.
