Quantum leaping isn't just for quantum physicists—it's something you've already mastered without even realizing it. From navigating two cultures to being the first in your family to attend college, start a business, or break into corporate spaces, you've been collapsing timelines and shifting your family's trajectory in ways that defy statistical probability.

Why then do so many of us still feel stuck or behind? Because we're measuring our growth against linear expectations when our most significant breakthroughs happen quantum-ly, not logically. When I was a college freshman from immigrant parents with elementary school education, statistics said I shouldn't have been there at all. Yet there I was, standing before my predominantly white classmates, explaining how my very presence defied probability. That awareness itself was revolutionary.

The truth is, growth isn't a ladder—it's a series of leaps. Those random downloads to launch something new, the feeling it's time to leave a comfortable job, or the nudge to invest in yourself even when it's scary? These aren't random thoughts; they're portals to your next expansion. Your intuition is offering you quantum shortcuts that could collapse decades of incremental growth into months or years. The key isn't doing more—it's listening deeper and following the nudges that feel aligned, even when they don't make logical sense.

Take a moment to honor how far you've come. What timelines have you already shifted? What generational cycles have you broken? Then ask: What would a quantum leap look like for me now? Remember, you're a walking miracle who has already defied odds. Your next expansion isn't waiting in logical steps—it's waiting in your intuitive knowing. Are you ready to leap again?

So let's get started.
Hey everyone, welcome back tothe Manifesting Latina podcast
with me, your host, dr NormaReyes, and today's episode is

(01:13):
going to be about quantumleaping and how.
You have already quantum leapand I'm going to prove it to you
so that you can see how tocontinue growing in a way that
you want to, because you arewanting to quantum leap again,
even if you don't evenunderstand what that means.

(01:34):
You do and let me give you afew little examples.
And that is like if you want todouble your salary, if you want
to be able to travel the world,if you want to have a more
prominent job that you currentlydo, if you want to grow your
family, if you want to find apartner.
All of those are quantum leaps, even if you're like, how, what

(02:00):
is that?
That's just life.
But just trust me, you havequantum leap, even if you don't
even know it, and so thisepisode is for you.
This episode is for people whocome from immigrant families,
people who were there first togo to college in their family.
Finish college, get a career, start a business, be in the

(02:24):
corporate world.
This episode is for you.
So if that is you and you'vedone the impossible, let me tell
you you have quantum leaped.
You have collapsed timelines, you have shifted your family's
trajectory and yet somehow youmight still feel stuck and
behind or like you should befurther along.

(02:44):
So let's go ahead and unravelthat so you can celebrate your
quantum leaps.
And I don't have the stats onme now, but I will share.
When I was a freshman in collegeand for those of you that may
not know, my parents are bothfrom Mexico.
I am a first-genMexican-American.

(03:06):
My parents probably went up tolike third grade and sixth grade
.
I don't remember exactly, but Iknow like elementary school
level education and they didn'thave very many supports when
they were here.
We literally just grew up likeit was just me and my parents
and my siblings.
Um, we literally just grew uplike it was just me and my

(03:29):
parents and my siblings, um,yeah, and so I was the first in
my family to go to college.
I have two older sisters.
One of them didn't completepast middle school.
One of them was a teen parentand then did go back and finish,
finish high school, um, andthen she probably took a few
college courses and then myyounger brother did start
college but he didn't finish, and so I was the first to attend

(03:52):
and complete college and Iremember my freshman year of
college.
I was in my.
I think it was like what classwas that?
I don't remember.
I don't even remember whatclass it was, I just know we had
to do a presentation, and youknow who likes doing
presentations in class Not me, Idon't know.

(04:13):
There's probably somebody outthere that does.
So I decided to choose and forsome reason that year, as I look
back, I my presentations werevery pointed in that they are
very much of like sharing aboutmy background, and I think back
and I'm like man I didn't evenconsider myself that much of an

(04:36):
activist kind of thing Like Ifelt like I was shouting to this
room of white classmates Noteverybody was white, but it felt
that way and it was like likesaying, like I'm here and this
is me and this is my reality, like giving a picture to who I
was.
So I remember going andpresenting and I'm again I don't

(04:59):
remember what class this was,but I was explaining that I
didn't belong in the classroom.
I was, according to statistics,an anomaly because I was the
first in my family to go tocollege and my parents were
immigrants and, according tostatistics, it said that I

(05:21):
should be pregnant and a highschool dropout and not have even
ever gone to college.
I just remember going up thereand presenting that and feeling
like I'm educating these peopleto get to understand who I am
and why me being there is soimportant, me being there is so

(05:44):
important, and so there in thatmoment, me even talking about
that, because I was just a veryquiet person in the sense of
like not really callingattention to myself and really
just doing what I need to do,just to keep, just to finish and
be done and moving to the nextstep.
And so I'm just so proud ofthat version of me who did it,

(06:04):
who presented, who wasvulnerable and shared that with
those people, and maybe thatnone of them even remember it,
but I remember it and it was soimpactful for myself.
So that is a moment, aside fromme being in college.
That in itself is a quantum leap.
If you just go based onstatistics and logic.
I quantum leaped.
I quantum leaped by finishinghigh school.

(06:25):
I quantum leaped by going tocollege.
I quantum leaped by believingthat I could go to college.
There was no doubt in my mindthat I was going.
And so you got to think ofmoments like that, when you had
no doubt in your mind aboutsomething, a goal that you had,
whatever it is.
And even if you're thinkinglike, oh well, I, I went to
college but I didn't even finish, that was still a quantum leap,

(06:47):
because, guess what?
No one else had done that.
Or if other people have donethat, that's fine.
Know that for you it still wasthe quantum leap.
Okay, a quantum leap isn't justa big shift, it's a soul shift.
It's when you jump from onereality to another with belief,

(07:08):
action and alignment and notthrough logical steps.
Right, because if I had followedlogic to believe that college
was impossible because myparents were immigrants, or
because my parents couldn't helpme with college, or because
they didn't have money tosupport me, or that they had no
knowledge of how to get intocollege, that could have been

(07:30):
the path that I took, butinstead I didn't.
I saw what was around me.
I knew I wanted to go tocollege.
I worked my best to figure itout and went to college, and not
only did I go to college, but Igot my master's degree, I got
my PhD right.
Like all of these quantum leapsthat occurred because I

(07:51):
believed in that version ofmyself existing somewhere.
And I have to tell y'all, wanting to get a PhD happened
like around when I was 10,because I read so much and I
still read so much now such abookworm.
Around when I was 10, because Iread so much and I still read
so much now such a bookworm.
But I just remember seeingbooks written by people who had

(08:12):
PhDs and I wanted to have onetoo.
That's really how that started.
But again, that's a quantum leap.
How is a 10-year-old believingthat they could get a PhD when
they have no real knowledge ofwhat that means.
I know that I didn't know whatit meant then, other than it's
something, it's a degree of somesort, and I want that.

(08:32):
So here's the thing Many of ushave already quantum leaped
without realizing it, and Ididn't think about it back then.
So I want you to know thatyou've been navigating two
cultures.
That is quantum leaping.
You've decoded college systemsyour family never explained to
you, maybe professionalcorporate systems that no one

(08:55):
has explained to you, that youhave just figured out on your
own.
You have showed up in spaceswhere you were the only one who
looked or sounded like you.
That is quantum leaping.
When you've had a moment of Idon't belong here.
That is a quantum leap becauseyou are going beyond what

(09:17):
society, what logic says youshould be.
So that's quantum, that'sspiritual, that's growth.
You may have been taught thatif we do all the right things,
success will follow in astraight line, such as you
graduate, you get a job, you getthe promotion, you buy a house.
But I don't have to tell y'allthat's not how it works, because

(09:42):
growth isn't linear, growth isenergetic, it is spiritual and
it is quantum.
So if you are following thetraditional way of going about
life, meaning like, oh, I'mgoing to work hard because my
work's going to show for it,people are going to see me for

(10:02):
who I am and give me thepromotion I deserve.
Or, if I save X amount of money, I'm going to be able to get
the house that I want, my dreamhouse, this specific house.
All of that is very, very, verylogical, and there's nothing
wrong with the logical, becauseyou need logic, because that's
just part of life.
But what I'm trying to get youguys to understand here is that

(10:28):
the growth that you are wantingis quantum, is energetic, is
spiritual, and that will leadyou to decisions that are out of
the norm for you, that are notwithin your current paradigm.
And the reason for it isbecause either you can take the
logical steps, and it'll take 20years to get there, or you can

(10:53):
quantum leap and get there in ayear or get there in five years.
So, for example, I rememberwhenever I would do the FAFSA
and get my parents' taxesinformation and at the time I
don't know anything aboutsalaries or how much they're
making or anything like that.
But fast forward and I graduate, I get my first job and after

(11:18):
some time I realized oh man, when I went to college, my
parents combined, combined, weremaking about $30,000.
And at the time and this islike about 20 years ago, so like
2002 to 2007, at the time anincome of $30,000 wasn't even
poor enough for me to haveschool paid for, like I still

(11:41):
had to take out loans because, according to them, my parents
could help me with $3,000.
So I'm not even going to godown that rabbit hole, but you
know, and so I was justreflecting, like, my first job
out of college was making$32,000.

(12:03):
So literally making as much asmy parents were combined.
Now, fast forward to now I helpmy parents with their taxes.
And now they're makingsomewhere around in the 40s
individually, right, so togetherwould be like a combined of 80,
but they're not together.
So now they're in the 40s,right, so they were.
Let's say, let's pretendthey're making 15,000 each,

(12:25):
right, and now, 20 years later, they are making 40,000.
That's the logical path they'redoing.
They're showing up working, showing up working right, like,
and then just taking that 25cent raise every year, getting
low raises, low raises and thelogic, little tiny step.

(12:45):
So for me I collapsed that intofive years.
Well, maybe less than thatprobably two or three years
where I went from 30 to 40.
And then another few years from40 to 90, collapsing, that time
quantum leaping, because Ichanged the way I was doing
things.
I wasn't just showing up towork.

(13:06):
And there's other life eventsthat have happened and occurred
in my life that have assisted mein quantum leaping, and at the
time it may not seem like it foryou and others For myself, I
mean, I always feel likeeverything that happens happens
for a reason.
So in 2010, I was laid off fromthat job actually my first big

(13:29):
girl job.
So I was laid off from that joband about nine months later I
probably got like a $5,000 raise, maybe more, I don't remember
$5,000 to $6,000 raise.
But I wouldn't have had thatraise as I probably would have
just stayed there for my firstjob because I didn't know any

(13:52):
better or any different.
But the universe helped mealong my path and was like no,
like you're not meant to get a25 cent raise every year to then
make 50,000 after 20 years.
Like, no, that's not your pathand if you're listening to this,
that's not your path either.
And if you're listening to this, that's not your path either.

(14:13):
It's not.
And so then you just got tostart tuning in to what are the
quantum leaps that you aredesiring.
And then what do you need to do?
How do you need to shift yourenergy, how do you need to shift
in your spiritual growth tostart taking those quantum leaps
?
Taking those quantum leaps?
So, if you expect it to alwaysbe a step-by-step process,

(14:38):
you'll end up feeling stuck, stagnant or even entitled,
feeling like why am I notfurther along?
Why am I not ahead?
I've been doing everything thatI've been told to do, but
quantum growth doesn't work likethat.
It's leaps, not ladders, andsometimes you don't know if
there's anything past the leap.
You have to follow yourintuition.
It's not about logic, becauselogic is based on the past and

(15:03):
your expansion isn't in the past, it's in the future.
You're co-creating with theuniverse.
So let's talk about how to leapagain, because you can and you
will.
The key is not about doing more,it's about listening deeper.

(15:23):
Aligned decisions don't alwaysmake sense to others.
Sometimes they don't even makesense to your past self, but
they feel right in your body.
And I say, as I say, that Ijust think about that time,
presenting my freshman year andreally saying like look at this,

(15:45):
look what I've done.
And I look back.
I'm like I know that wasn't theversion of me at the time, who
was timid, who didn't want anyextra attention, who was barely
trying to figure themselves out.
But there was also a part of methat really wanted to embrace
my cultural background and thechallenges that I overcame, to

(16:08):
be there at the university andto show like I'm brown and I'm
proud and I'm here.
So let me get us back on track, talking about quantum leaping.
So when you listen deeper, it'slike the random download to
launch something new, thatfeeling that it's time to leave

(16:31):
the job, even if it's a safe job, that nudge to invest in
yourself, even when it's scary.
Those are portals.
And when you say yes and youleap, the growth that you have
is so exponential that you don'teven remember that past version

(16:53):
of yourself.
I would even add layoffs.
You know layoffs?
Sudden changes, a loss of aloved one those can be quantum
leaps.
Those can be moments where yougrow.
Of course, it's not guaranteedunless you are willing to take
the leap.
Let's take a moment to honorhow far you've come, though

(17:18):
Close your eyes.
Unless you're driving, pleasedon't close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold it and release.
Take another nice deep breathin.
Take another nice deep breathin.
Hold it and release.
Take one more deep, cleansingbreath in.

(17:49):
Hold and release.
Now ask yourself what timelineshave I already shifted?
What generational cycles have Ibroken?
What spaces have I entered thatno one in my family had access

(18:10):
to?
Now ask yourself where am Itrying to grow logically instead
of intuitively?
What would a quantum leap looklike for me now?
What if I stopped waiting forpermission and followed the

(18:31):
nudge Again?
Growth isn't guaranteed, butalignment.
That's your power, and when youchoose aligned action over
shoulds, you move faster, freerand more joyfully.

(18:51):
Remember, you are a walkingmiracle.
You move faster, freer and morejoyfully.
Remember, you are a walkingmiracle.
You've already defied odds andshifted timelines.
Now it's time to trust yourintuition even more and let that
be the map for your nextexpansion.
