Peaceful, Easy Feeling: The Harmony of an Enneagram Type Nine

This week on The Marvelous Middle Age Podcast I’m joined by Ellie Wright, an Enneagram Type Nine.

Ellie is the creative director of Ella Floral Design where she creates lush and whimsical floral arrangements for weddings and events in the eastern Iowa and western Illinois area.  She is lucky enough to work alongside her mother and aunt in their family run business. When she’s not surrounded by blooms, you’ll probably find her baking something in the kitchen, hanging out with her husband Kyle and their Great Pyrenees, Olive.

In today’s episode, we talk about the Core Motivations for an Enneagram Nine.  Enneagram Nines are the Peaceful Mediators.

We also discuss the stress and growth paths of an Enneagram Nine. In growth Nines move towards the healthy type Three and in stress Nines move towards an unhealthy type Six. Ellie shares how both of these paths show up for her.
