Hit play now to uncover how embracing your emotions can unlock your next chapter with purpose and peace.

H.A.I.L Emotional Reframing Technique:

  1. Think about a time of disruption in your life, current or past. Write down a headline or description of this time.
  2. Honor: Name the emotions active for you at the time of your headline. Write down as many emotions that come to mind.
  3. Ask: Choose one emotion from the list you created. Ask yourself, why is this emotion present now? What might the presence of this emotion mean to you?
  4. Influence: Write down how this emotion influences you (for example, it brought up feelings of self doubt, or made me withdraw from others)
  5. Learn: Imagine that you can learn something from your emotion. What might you Learn from its presence? (for example, I learnt that my shock at not getting the job really means I didn’t really want it in the first place).
