Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jan.
I am a student at University ofHouston, I'm a regional
consumerist with a minor inhuman resource development, and
I've been here for nine monthsnow.
It's a really long time, almost10 months.
So journey is one of myfavorite principles, because you
don't know until the end of thejourney.
Everything makes sense.

(00:21):
At the end of the journey it'slike all the puzzle pieces
falling in and then you see thewhole picture at the end.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
so that's my favorite principle alex vazquez, I go to
georgia mason university andI've been with new heart for
life community and sincefebruary, and my favorite
principle would probably beconsistency, because you just
need to be consistent anddetermined with everything you

(00:48):
do in order to achieve anoutcome.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
It's a really good one.
I do agree.
Consistency makes all thedifference.
Alex Ryan, introduce yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:03):

Hi, I'm Alex.
I go to St Bonnish Universityand my favorite principal is
teammates, teammates.

Speaker 1 (01:15):

I've been here since lastNovember.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Hi, my name is Annika Shazitz, university of Arizona.
I've been with New Heart forLife since I think last semester

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Hi, my name is gabrielle um.
I go to towson university, I'ma senior marketing major and
I've been with the communitysince about last november, so
I've definitely seen a lot ofexciting changes and growth,
which, which is amazing to see,and I'd say, right now, my
favorite principle would have tobe routine, because it's
definitely something that I useevery single day, whether it's

(02:11):
big or small.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
That's a really good one, gilbert, introduce yourself
.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
Hello, my name is Gilbert.
I'm a junior at the Universityof California Irvine.
I'm a starter, so today's myfirst day, and my favorite
principle would probably be goal, because if you have a goal, I
feel like it leads to many ofthe other principles.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Welcome to our community, and I do agree.
Do agree, goals are veryimportant.
You can't keep shooting andexpecting to hit things.
If you don't have a goal, danny, introduce yourself.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
Oh hi, yes, my name is Danny.
I attend Lamar University downhere in Texas.
I've been with the New Heartfor Life community since around
April, I believe, and myfavorite principle would have to
be is recovery, because Ibelieve recovery and rest is
important.
Anything that you do you don'twant to burn yourself out,

(03:18):
whether it be working withschoolwork or if you're working
on your fitness life.
I believe recovery is animportant process of everything.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Like Dan mentioned in one of our previous meetings,
like this, your muscles buildduring recovery, even though you
work out.
That's not when your musclesare being built.
It's during recovery you'reactually building muscle mass.
So, yes, recovery is veryimportant.
And Talisa, am I saying yourname right?

Speaker 8 (03:46):
Yes, I go to UC San Diego, I'm a business econ major
.
I go to UC San Diego, I'm abusiness econ major and I think
my favorite principle is change, because it really shows like
you're willing to make an effortto like better yourself and
understand and acknowledge whatyou're needing to go through.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
That's a really good one, isa.
What's your favorite principle, and introduce yourself too.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Hi, my name is Isa.
I'm a senior marketing major atthe University of Texas at
Dallas.
I would say and I've been heresince January I would say my
favorite would be motivation, because personally, that's what
helps me keep going through myeducation and my career and what
I want to pursue in life, and Ijust think it's very important.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
It is very important, anastasia, introduce yourself.

Speaker 9 (04:36):
So, hello everyone, I'm Anastasia and I'm from
Belarus, so I perform my kind ofinformational resource
management degree, the secondyear, the second course.
So let's say, and uh,considering principle, it's the
hardest question uh, I have evermet because, uh, every single

(04:59):
principle is uh correlated witheach other.
So, uh, I don't know, I don'treally know, but, um, my
favorite, let's say, it's coachor act.
So I haven't decided yet.
It's like a life or a situationand according to this I can
choose the principle and I'llfollow it.
So, basically, okay, let's letit be six yes, also guys.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Anastasia recently translated the 21 principles
book into german and russian, sodo make sure to check it out
I'm vladislav mokosh and I'vebeen since.

Speaker 10 (05:36):
I've been over a month in this community and I'm
the in the second year of schoolof business university and I'm
in marketing, of course, and soI say there are a lot of
principles that I'd like, butmaybe decide, it's going to be
better to say something about me, or my way in some sports, or

(06:00):
my friends, because decide ordecision is one of the hardest
choices that you ever make andyou need to understand not only
your inner voice but all thejust, uh, just some mistakes
that you can make in the futurewith this decision very wise
moves.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Margie, she's our lead instagram ambassador.
She's the one behind all thecool instagram posts you see, so
introduce yourself oh my god, such a sweet introduction.

Speaker 11 (06:31):
Yeah, I'm margie.
Um, I go to richmond in london,I'm in my third year and I
study communications and mediastudies.
Um, I think my favoriteprinciple is probably lessons.
I like to say there's a lessonin everything, so that one kind
of sticks with me it's a reallygood one.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Margie Abraham, introduce yourself.

Speaker 12 (06:55):
Hi, I go to Illinois State University in Bloomington
and I am a IMC major, which isintegrated marketing
communications, and I'd say thatmy favorite principle would
have to be consistency, simplybecause, as someone with ADHD, I

(07:15):
feel like consistency is prettykey to in order to mitigate,
you know, a lot of the symptomsthat come with like having, like
you know, deficient disorder, and like being able to focus and
be consistent in itself.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I like the wall decor and background of yours the
boxes.

Speaker 13 (07:37):
Zach.
Hi, I'm Zach.
I'm a graduate at EasternCommunity, I mean Eastern
Connecticut State University.
My favorite principle, I wouldsay, is probably change, or
journey, mostly just becausehumans are like you know.
We're creatures that live for alot of years and we process
time slower than, I would say, every other animal.

(07:59):
Like we process things, youknow, like everything just is
slower.
So we have to go through a lotof changes, and being able to
accept change and be ready forit is the best thing you can do
to adapt to everything.
You know so because you can'treally predict how your life
will go.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
So yes, and we should always be changing and adapting
to new methods and growing asindividuals.

Speaker 14 (08:21):
Uh, federico, now it's your turn oh hi, my name is
federico and I'm from brazil,uh, but now I study economics in
portugal and, um, my favoriteprinciple well, I'm I've been in
your heart for life, for almosta year now and my favorite

(08:41):
principle is teammates, becauseit's something that's been
really important to me,especially since I moved to
another country, to anothercontinent, and well, I think I
can't go anywhere withoutteammates.
