Speaker 1 (00:01):
From Los Angeles, Phrak Hilton, Mama, and one and only
world famous.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Perez Perez Hilton.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
It's the HP.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Welcome to DPHP. I would be Booker, that would be
Perez Hilton. How do you do?
Speaker 2 (00:23):
I am so happy because I feel like more and
more keeps happening in my new hometown of Las Vegas,
which we will get to, of course. I'm talking Cardi
B and her dominating social media with the drama that
went down here in my new hometown of Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
He's pouring it on because he knows it's not his hometown.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Some updates with Ariana Grande, A lot of drama still
going on there, Kanye West, Lady Gaga exclusive and more.
But first, how are you?
Speaker 3 (01:00):
I had a whirlwind weekend. I went to see my
mother in Florida, So I'm a little tired. I'm a
little like wondering what time zone I'm in right now
because it was a very quick you know, I left
Friday morning and came back Sunday morning, so it was
a quick forty eight hour stay. But it's her birthday today,
as a matter of fact, so happy birthday to my mom.
You know what I saw, which I thought was really interesting.
(01:21):
We were watching the local news and they were saying, oh,
we're about five minutes away from lift off, as they're
going to launch a SpaceX rocket into space, and my
mom says, oh, let's go outside and watch it. I'm like,
we're in the middle of the state. She goes, well,
they launched. I think they launched a cocoa beach right
around there somewhere. And I was like, are we going
to be able to see it? She goes, oh, absolutely,
(01:43):
So we went out and sure as shit. It was wild.
It was like a fireworks show. It like lit up
the whole sky and you could, you know, you could
see it go up into space and you could see
the rockets fall down and there was a sonic boom
and then once it, you know, hits the atmosphere, it
looks like a fireworks show. Is pretty wild. So that
was something cool to see in Florida.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Was there any people in it?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
My mom said, they launch him all the time with
like satellites and technology, and god knows what Elon's sending
up there. I guess it's an occurrence that happens fairly often.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Well cool. I had a pretty chill weekend, thankfully, I
needed that. Although again this morning, God, yet again, yet
a fucking again. At four forty five am, I am
awoken in my bedroom where my dog sleeps, to the
sound of him taking a giant piss. And it's not
(02:33):
even like something like Pooh where I could pick up quickly.
You know, piss takes a while to clean up well.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
And you have to do it immediately till you can't
let it sit well.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
No, especially because I have freaking carpets from this house.
It's like a ten minute process. And then I didn't
go to the gym, and it's like the dog went
out last night like close to one am, Like he
went out to pee at one am, and then at
four forty five. I don't know. It's driving me crazy.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
I have it on the other end because they're puppies
and we have the boy foster, and at the beginning
he would mark his fucking territory everywhere, and he would
lift his leg in the kitchen near the bulls, and
I was like, motherfucker, And it was just constant cleaning
up after that dog. But I don't know, you seem
to get thrown. He hasn't done it in a while.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Knock on wood in brighter news. Before we start, just
very briefly, thank you to all of our Patreon supporters.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Definitely a lot.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Of bonus content at patreon dot com slash Perez Hilton.
Try it out. It's less than five dollars for at
least four shows, and if you don't like it, or
if you can't afford it, you can cancel at any time.
Patreon dot com slash Perez Hilton. All right. Cardi B
was in Las Vegas this weekend performing at Dre's Beach
(03:52):
Club and an incident happened which much like the Miranda
Lambert one. When I first started to go viral on
social media, I felt a certain way. But now, after
having full contexts which I will share with you all,
my feelings have changed.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
I don't know, did you watch even the first video
I did, because there's two angles. There was the angle
from the side and then there was the one where
the drink went straight at her.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Yes, well you probably haven't seen the final angle.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
There's a final angle. This is a rud film.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
I love it, I know. So the first angle which
went viral and people were talking about was this video
of somebody throwing a drink at Cardi B and then
almost instantly, as if it was reflex she threw a
microphone at that person. A couple of things. First question,
(04:52):
was that an appropriate response for somebody throwing a drink
on stage at Cardi B to throw her microphone at
that person? Was that an appropriate.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Answer that I'd say no, but continue?
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Okay, okay, I don't even know if I'm going to
know her A yes on that think I think it's.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
You said appropriate. Now we could get it to the
emotional side of it, which I think changes your answer,
could change your answer possibly.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Well, you know, like I said, she did it almost instantly,
like she's from the Bronx, you know, like Carti remembers,
Oh my god, remember Carti B and Nicki Minaj and
Cardi threw a shoe at her at that party many
years ago.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
I forgot about that.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
You don't throw things little.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Fuck with Cardi. I mean you kind of know that
going in.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
So that's the first thing I'm not sure, Like I
don't want to say no or yes.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Well, I don't think we would say it's appropriate. I
think we can zero in on maybe another word. Is
it understandable? Yes? I think if you present it that way,
I could say, yes, it's understandable.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I mean, I'm not going to say it's not appropriate
because if somebody something at you, you might throw something
back at them.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Right.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Maybe the second big issue is I poured over that
first video that went viral, analyzed it, and I don't
even think she hit the right person, right.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
That's why it's not appropriate unless she's a major league
pitcher and she can guarantee that she's gonna fucking hit somebody,
not somebody the person that committed the crime, which you
can't put it this way. If I was standing next
to that fucking person that did that and I got
hit in the face with a microphone that she threw
at me, I would suit fucking ass off.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Not only that person, I think the other person could
also argue in a lawsuit that Carti potentially harmed her
and humiliated her in all of these things. Because now
that we've established all those points and that Carti allegedly
hit the wrong person, the final video shows that literally
moments before that fan threw a drink at Carti, Carti
(07:01):
was literally specifically telling concert goers to hose her down
to splash her with water.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Wait a minute, she said that, yes, oh, yeah, really
is yes, And I think this one fan got over
excited and did not think it would hit her in
the face, which Carti has spoken and said the reason
she responded the way she did was because that was assault.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Those are her words. She said, that was assault and
ice cubes hit me in my face and it hurt,
is what Cardi b claims. I looked at that video
again after hearing from Carti, and I don't think any
ice cubes hit her in the face. But I could
be wrong. I could be wrong.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
By the way that didn't hurt, just calm down, stop,
by the way she didn't heave the drink. She kind
of like splashed it.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Out, like yeah, she was trying to hose her neck,
right if you said she's said that. I was confused
because I literally watched so many different angles, like so
much video of this moment. And after that girl through
the drink and she saw Carti's reaction, she instantly apologized
and she said, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, And
(08:16):
I was like, why is this woman apologizing? If you're
gonna throw a drink at somebody, have the kohone is
to stand by your conviction of throwing the drink right, Well,
now it makes sense. She apologized because Carti had told
people to hose her down.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
And by the way, that girl's not a professional drink thrower,
by the way, would have any idea how much would
come out. I'm sure in her mind, you know, she'll
get a little splash of this and not take the
whole drink.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Well, you know, because it's real hot in Vegas, and
I guess Chrti wanted to be hosed down. However, Carti then,
you know, when she closed her set. I don't know
exactly the timeline. At some point, either after the drink
throwing moment or when she finished her performance, she said,
I told y'all to splash my pussy, not my face,
(09:00):
so she wanted water in her pussy not her face.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Gotcha. Well she's a fucking idiot. There you go. I'm
just gonna summarize. She's an idiot. If you ask the
audience to throw water at you and then they do,
and then you had thrown the microphone, I would sue
her for assault.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Anyhow, There you go.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I mean, intent is everything in this situation, and there
you just laid it out.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
And then some fans that are Cardi supporters were saying, well,
Cardi meant in that specific moment that girl threw the
drink almost immediately after when Carti got close to her. Okay,
so it wasn't like it was ten minutes later, you know,
it was like right after that, but when Cardi got
close to her. So I don't think that argument holds
(09:46):
much weight. That was quite the episode this weekend, and
I just I love it. I'm in my wheelhouse.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
It's in Vegas.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
I know.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
All these stories recently seem to be all happening in Vegas.
I'm like, Perez's right in the mix, I know.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
And then I got a Lady Gaga exclusive, which is
exciting to me because I think it's a big scoop
and nobody else had reported it. So Yesterday Sunday sources
told me that Gaga was coming back to Vegas for
more shows and it would be also yet again at
(10:21):
the Park MGM Dolby Live, and it was most likely
going to be her jazz and piano show. You know,
it's July thirty first. My source said the show announcement
was happening this week and the first show was going
to happen possibly by the end of August or beginning
of September. Boom. This morning they made the announcement nice
(10:42):
and it's not a nice little scoop.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
You're getting around there with your sniffer there, you're smelling
a story. Is that the same room that Usher plays in? Now?
It is?
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yes, it is? Okay, Yeah, I love outscooping people. And
I'm sure some folks might be mad that I, like,
you know.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
About your job. I don't understand why anybody, Oh, because
it's Lady Gaga and there's a supposed beef whatever.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
No, no, because any and as you talk, as we
talked about recently, like Miranda Lambert, it should be my response.
I should announce my own plans. You announce my plans
for me.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
I understand, okay, yeah, like it matters. The end result
is people now know you're on tour. You're welcome, all.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Right onto Ariana Grande another pop star. To me, this
is a red flag. It might not be to you,
but I wonder what our audience thinks. Okay, as always
call us eight hundred seventy five.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
We could definitely use some calls. If you have questions
about anything else, please give us a call.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
According to reports, Ariana Grande has not seen her new boyfriend,
her Wicked co star Ethan Slater in weeks. She and
he are allegedly still together, but he's been in New
York City dealing with the surrounding the end of his
(12:02):
marriage to his baby mama, and she has not been
with him in New York City. Insiders insist that Arianna
and Ethan are still together. But I view this as
a red flag. If she's all about this guy and
loves him, you know, we know she's quick to get
engaged in everything, even though she's still married. I would
(12:24):
imagine Ariano would want to be with him, especially during
this honeymoon phase of their relationship where everything is new
and exciting. But no, they're not together. And I think
that's a red flag. What do you think.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I'm not going to run any flag on the pole
for this. I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you this,
relationships already over. They're not doing you think it's already there.
I think Arianna has read the room. There is this
place called the Internet that is reporting on her, and
it is evil, and what she's done is evil. And
I think with the little looking inward, she probably realized
(13:00):
is this is not a good look for me, and
this is never going to end well for me. No
one is ever going to root for them together. No
one's ever gonna root for her with this guy. This
is fucking ruined the movie. This is horrible press. So
I'll go ahead and say it over. It's over.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I disagree. I can think of at least one instance
where people would root for her and root for him
and her together.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Give it to me.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
If Arianna Grunde, I laugh, But because it's true. If
Ariana Grande all of a sudden switches genres, it becomes
a country music artist and a successful one, those fans
won't give a shit.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
She's not gonna do that. Okay, she's a pop star.
So let's deal in the realistic world that we live in.
You didn't give me an example. I'm thinking of like
Leanne Rimes and that one guy, you know, they stuck
it out and they kind of endured the press. I'm
thinking of them, Brad and Angelina.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
I'm thinking of Jason Allending and his wife Brittany. You know,
Brittany Alding and him began as an extramarital affair and
now he's married to her.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
And Yanna Ayanna, right, but I feel you that's like
a country music song.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Yeah, well good, that's an you know you you were
right about Ariana last time.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I fully you actually trust my instincts on Ariana Grande.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Now I do. You're onto other as is our luck.
I would expect this story to break like right now,
it's probably being reported at this moment.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Well it will be by noon today. We'll go ahead
and throw that out there, West Coast time, all right.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Speaking of Ethan Slater, Arianna's most recent man, maybe still boyfriend,
maybe not.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
He looks like a garden num.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
Hey, now that's not not.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
I don't care. I don't think it's nice what he
did to his wife.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Well, you know what, before I even go on, like
going back to our callers eight hundred and seven five,
if you are married to this guy, and if his
relationship with Ri is over now, and if he is
begging you to take him back and is so remorseful,
and you just had a child with him twelve months ago,
(15:09):
twelve months ago, do you take him back? Ladies, they
had been together a decade or longer. They were high
school sweethearts.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
I mean some people would say no, but some people
would maybe say I'm going to put my family first. Look,
it's hard when you're seduced by an Ariana Grande. She's
one of the biggest stars in the world, and that's
what makes it more evil, a lurrying being with someone
so famous and so popular. So I cannot of understand that,
I guess.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
But there's also a difference between private humiliation and publication. Right. Yeah.
If if your husband and baby daddy did this to
you and only you found out and he was aware,
and then the other woman, that's one thing. But now
if every single one of your family members, and every
single one of your friends, and every single one of
(15:59):
your colleagues, and every single one of your neighbors, if
everybody knows, it makes it that much harder.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
That's what I said. Nobody's going to root for these two,
No one. That's why it's over.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
I mean, he's not in his twenties. He's thirty one. Yeah,
but still that's kind of young. Now that we're old farts.
You know, I'm forty five. And if I was dating
somebody good or great, well, I don't know. Being married
is a different situation. If I was just dating somebody
that I liked, versus being married to somebody at thirty one.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
It's a different set of cards. And this person has
a kid. You've dragged a kid exactly. That's what makes
it so discussion. People break up all the time. It's fine,
it happens. They could survive if this guy just didn't
have a kid with this woman. And by the way,
their marriage could have been falling apart the entire time.
But it's just timing and optics, and the optics are ugly.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
No. Well, Lily J spoke to page six and said, Arianna,
is the story really not a girl's girl? My family
is just collateral damage? Boom well. In other news over
the weekend, Kanye West was unsuspended from Twitter after permanently
(17:15):
being suspended by Elon Musk. And if only TikTok were
that forgiving and let me back on.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
You're on, You're just on at various other forms.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
I'm on, but I every single time they find me,
they'd ban me again.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
Oh they do.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Yeah, So that's funny.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
I didn't know that. I thought it was just that
one account that you just put these other ones up.
But I didn't know that they were chasing down your
other ones as well.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Sometimes I could last on their three or four months. Anyways.
I still I still am in shock and disbelief that
they banned me permanently, because I know I did not
deserve a permanent man but it is what it is.
Over there on the TikTok, Bethany Frankel is still trying
to rally the troops with her reality TV Union movement,
(18:04):
making multiple videos about it, and actually The Gaze and
I have been talking about Bethany Frankel because she's been
doing this, she's been doing that. I really believe she
needs money. She lives a very expensive lifestone just her
Hampton's house alone. Her Hampton's home must easily be over
(18:27):
ten million dollars at least the mortgage on that. I
can't even imagine what a mortgage on a ten million
dollar house is, you know, tens of thousands of dollars.
She's got two podcasts, two she has a YouTube show,
and she's acting like a hooker desperate for a trick
(18:47):
all over social media. I think she needs money, and
there's nothing wrong with that and nothing wrong with hustling.
I respect the hustle, So kudos to you, Bethany Frankel.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Can I ask you a question, where did her original
money come from? I don't really know her backstory.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
Her original money came after Real Housewives of New York.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
She had started Skinny Girl. Okay, so I knew that,
but I didn't know how she got on it in
the first place, because usually those girls have a lot
of money coming in right like they're No.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
She had no money. No, she started Housewives.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
Oh wow, self made. So okay, you're probably right then,
because you know that reality money ran out.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yeah, and she probably did not get that much from
selling Skinny Girl. Allegedly it's sold for one hundred million dollars.
She probably saw ten million of those one hundred million,
and that's not a lot. Yeah, exactly. She's wasted all
of that by now. So I respect her trying to
constantly keep her name in the press. I applaud her.
(19:42):
I would be doing even more. You know, I'm a
D lister, she's a she's a C plus lister. There's
a difference, you know, like her, she gets more attention
with all of her stunts, and I respect it. So
keep on stunting, queen. She even hired or no, no,
not hired. The head line was very specific. The headline.
I'll read the headline verbatim because she did not fucking
(20:05):
hire them. The headline I saw was quote Bethany Frankel
enlists power attorneys Brian Friedman and Mark Garragos in fight
for reality star protections. This is going to be a war. Translation.
Those two dudes are doing it for free for publicity.
(20:25):
She did not hire them. She's not paying them an
hourly fee. There's no money exchanged. Listen. I still think
it's a good.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Idea unionizing the reality workers.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Yeah, it's just like I said last week when we
discussed it. There's so many variables, you know, like there's
so so many buyers, so many streamers, so many different options.
Now is the time to unionize. And because there's going
to be a lot more reality TV being produced in
the short term, So there's that. Speaking of housewives, over
(20:59):
in the California area, fans have slammed Real Housewives of
Orange County star Heather Dubro for bragging about buying a
new home in Beverly Hills. She might be moving to
Real Housewives Beverly Hills or just I mean probably will
like if you because she didn't just buy a second home,
(21:20):
or maybe it is, but to me, I would imagine
this is going to be their primary home. Her husband
is a plastic surgeon, and I think his office is
in Los Angeles. Their new Beverly Hills home is worth
sixteen million dollars. Wow, And she was bragging about overhauling it,
remodeling it, saying it's going to be a three year
(21:43):
undertaking a three year project. Not only are they spending
sixteen million dollars for their home, if they're going to
spend three years remond that's at least another three million dollars.
I would guess.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
So I actually, in this instance, am on team Heather Dubro.
I don't expect, nor do I want these housewives to
pretend to be relatable or be down to earth. They're not.
So who cares that she's bragging about that. It's like
the Kardashians. Do you want them? Do you want them
(22:16):
to cause play middle class? Although a lot of people
do want that, you know, I noticed. I don't know
if you've it's my job to see the trends and
see what's happening, and you probably haven't seen this, but
Sophia Ritchie has really become a social media star. In
(22:36):
her own right over the last twelve months. She even
less than six months ago, launched a TikTok account, which
has become very successful, grown quickly, and people are really
enjoying her content. However, she just posted a video and
people roasted her in the comments section. They're like, at
(22:57):
least pretend that you're not so rich, or don't make
us feel so poor, or this or that or the other.
And it was really surprising to see all those comments.
You think a normal person can have a French wedding
that costs multimillions of dollars like Sophia Richie, No please
so but yeah, I think with younger people, especially they're
they're really turned off by obvious and copious displays of wealth.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
The bragging about the opulence is not cool with this generation.
It doesn't seem to be It's okay if you have it,
just don't shove it in everybody's face.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
The brother of Tristan Thompson, he has two brothers. He
has a younger brother and a brother that's not as young.
His middle brother took to social media to blast the
Kardashians show for sharing intimate moments of their mother's death.
She died suddenly of a heart attack earlier this year
(23:52):
at just fifty three years old, and that was documented
on Keeping Up with the on the on the Kardashians
on Hulu, and then afterwards Chloe Kardashian took in both
Tristan Thompson and his teenage younger brother who who was disabled.
I think he has epilepsy and some other issues and
(24:14):
he might use a wheelchair. This other brother, the one
that's not living with Chloe and Tristan, said some not
so nice things on social media. He wrote, quote death
for a storyline, don't believe everything you see or hear
on social media. Ninety five percent is a lie. Well
(24:36):
after that caught everybody's attention. A day or two later,
he said that he was not talking about Chloe so who.
He's talking about the producers, like they're fucking producers on
the show, like they produced the show as well.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Which brother was this?
Speaker 2 (24:50):
By the way, do you know DeShawn is his name?
And he's twenty eight years old.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
If your brother signed up for the show and shared
whatever he shared, take it up with your brother. I
don't know what else to tell you. Look, I don't
find the comments that he made to be that inflammatory
because he wasn't pointing it at anyone. It doesn't really
bother me that much. But I still go back to
my initial statement, take it up with your brother.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Here's what I see. I think this middle brother, Deshaun,
is jealous. He is envious that he was not invited
to also live with Chloe and maybe envious that he's
not part of the show. He wants the fame and
he wants the money, and I think that that is
manifested in his comments. Could be two stories and then
(25:38):
we'll take some calls, Okay. It made me very happy
to see this. Selena Gomez wished her kidney donor, Francia Raisa,
a happy birthday. This after Francia was very vocal about
her falling out with Selena and and following Selena and YadA, YadA, YadA.
(25:58):
So after this Olive Branch moment where Selena posted about
Francia on her Instagram, Francia followed her again and then
staged another pap walk, another paparazzi moment where she was
asked if there's any beef with her and Selena, and
(26:19):
she said, no, there's no beef. There's none, so that's good.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
This goes a little thirsty.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
And finally, I was really happy to see this interview
with Jamie Lynn Spears promoting her reboot of Zoe one
oh one. It's a film. I haven't watched it because
I never watched the original. I was too old for
Zoe one oh one. But it's just nice after everything
(26:46):
that she went through with Britney Spears fans to see
her working and being happy and good on her. Before
we take calls, I would like to thank quickly some

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Yes, apart from La, I'm a long time listener and
a Patreon subscriber. H I want to know your take
on cardib throwing a Mike an audience member.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
All right, well you got that for sure. Let me
get you another call. Here here we go, Hey.
Speaker 5 (27:42):
Pres hey Booker. My name is Christina I'm from Nashville.
I was just listening to your podcast on Miranda Lambert
and I had a couple of thoughts. For one, I
really don't understand how, Perez, you can think that they
weren't being disrupted. I mean, if there is a video
of them, then they're being disruptive enough for people to
(28:05):
take notice and take video of them. Even if they
didn't mean to necessarily take video of them, you're still
can't help but focus on them and not the person
on the stage with the microphone. So I guess I
just don't really understand.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Where you're coming.
Speaker 5 (28:21):
From, Perez. And just because they were in VIP doesn't
mean they weren't being disruptive to people around them, because again,
there's a video of them, and there was another caller
who said that they were being disruptive. So if other
people are noticing them, then that's disruptive. And I guess
I just didn't understand like the Garth Brooks comment either,
(28:43):
because if saying like, she's not as big as Garth Brooks,
so what if she was, then she would have the
right to get upset about it. I don't know, just
my thoughts.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Love you both, thinks all right?
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Thanks for your call. Go ahead, Perez.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Maybe she's not a Patreon supporter and did.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Not probably it. We've had a lot of updates to
that story.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
I did explain why I go to a lot of shows.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Perez had a he knows the venue even he actually
was talking about how it's situated, and that's a key
part of this as well.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
There was nobody directly behind them, there were people above them,
so they really weren't obstructing anybody's view. And as I
said in one of our shows, I really wanted and
needed to know the exact amount of time that this
whole thing took, because if it was just ten fifteen
twenty thirty seconds, it's not that disruptive, all right. It's
(29:39):
people take in a fucking photo with a flash for
ten fifteen twenty thirty seconds. People take photos and videos.
It shows all the fucking time I go to see
a ton of shows. If that was going on for
a minute, two minutes, then that's a different situation. But
if it was a quick thing, then I don't think
it was that disruptive. So that's the first thing. The
(30:00):
second thing, Garth Brooks has a no phone, and I
was confused by how you said it, but what I
met was if I didn't explain myself clearly. Garth Brooks
has his residency in Vegas as well at the Coliseum.
He does not allow phones inside his show. I know
from the people that put on these shows that nine
(30:22):
out of ten residencies are not your Garth Brooks or
your Lady Gaga's or your Adele's. Gaga Adele and Garth
Brooks sell out all their shows sold out. They don't
need to sell any tickets. All of the other residencies,
some might be really close to sold out, some might
be you know, just okay, but they could all use
(30:44):
help in selling tickets. And Garth Brooks can institute a
no phones policy because he sells out all of his shows.
Miranda Lambert has not as bullish sales, so she needs
that organic, easy free marketing of her fans posting photos
and videos on social media. So that's what I meant
(31:06):
by that.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
I still am on Miranda's side. Whoever took the video
the angle I saw, they were definitely in the fucking
way of that person. So I'm gonna just go ahead
and side with Miranda. I still don't think she dressed
them down that tough. Either she didn't call massholes or
she's she's like, you guys are making a guys are
making a mess of my show. All right, let's wrap
this puppy up, all right.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
