Speaker 1 (00:01):
From Los Angeles and one and only world famous Perez
Perez Hilton. It's how's everybody doing? It's the PHP. I'm booker,
of course, that is Perez. How do you do well?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Unfortunately we have to talk about Matthew Perry today. We
will also talk some Britney Spears and thank God for
Taylor Swift to lighten us up plus more. But before
we get to the heaviness, I'm so grateful for the
power of music because after the sadness with Matthew Perry

(00:44):
and that news broke literally minutes after that, I headed
down to Allegiant Stadium here in Las Vegas and I
went to go see Ed Sheeran in concert. And I've
been a fan of his since the very beginning. I
had him perform at my south By Southwest party, I
had him perform at a party that I threw in
Toronto for the much Music Awards. He performed in my backyard.

(01:08):
And to see him go from that to now selling
out stadiums worldwide amazing. And I also love that this
is the first time I've seen him with a band.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh he did a band. Oh I got to see
this tour then? Nice?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Oh well, he just did La Sorry damn. Yeah. He
always up until now had just performed solo and I
loved him with the band. And there was a really
cool surprise because if you remember, a month ago, Ed
Sheeran was supposed to do Vegas and there was a
last minute safety issue with this staging that he ended

(01:46):
up rescheduling the show literally as they were opening the doors.
So he told the audience that he wanted to really
make this rescheduled show, the last stop of the North
American tour, extra special because of that. So he brought
up out Brandon Flowers from The Killers, Oh Wow, and
they did two songs together. They did Mister Brightside and
they did Castle on the Hill. Wow. And it was

(02:09):
also a Halloween show, so Ed was dressed as Chucky,
kind of really on.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
The nose, on the nose exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
And I took my daughter, which she was not thrilled
about because there was only because there was a little
bit of drama. The drama was, you know, the Matthew
Perry news delayed me a bit getting to the stadium.
So I'm cheap as fuck, you know this, So I
don't park at the stadium because parking there is ridiculously expensive.
I park over the bridge at Mandola.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Bay, which is only about an hour walk.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
It's worse because by the time I got there, the
entire garage was full, but they didn't tell me that.
I spent thirty minutes in there circling and circling.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I left.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Then we went next door to the Luxir. That garage
was full. Then I had to go all the way
to the Excalibur with poor Mia and walk all the
way from the Excalibur to Allegiant Stadiums. And by the
time we got to the concert, she was so tired,
My poor little girl. But I had a great time.
A few days before that, I took my mom to
the Westgate in Vegas to go see Frankie Valley. His

(03:15):
music is iconic. It was in the Jersey Boys movie
and Broadway musical. He was part of the Four Seasons.
He's eighty nine years old, and he just looked so frail.
Like I saw Barry Manilow recently. He looked like a
fucking teenager compared to Frankie Valley. I took my mom
for her birthday, and she loved it. She even started
she started crying when he did. Can't take my eyes

(03:36):
off of you, and I'm like, why are you crying?
You're making me cry. You're like, your dad loved this
song too, and I'm like, oh my god, I'm crying
now thinking about it. So it was very worthwhile. All right,
let's get to Matthew Perry. In twenty twenty one, Matthew
Perry came out with a memoir and in that book
he said that if he were to die tragically suddenly,

(03:59):
that people would be shocked but not surprised. And I
think that that sums up the reaction very well. You know,
he in that book and in interviews, has been very
vocal about his struggles with addiction. And he also mentioned
in his autobiography that he knew he would be remembered

(04:20):
for friends, but if it was up to him, he
would be remembered for helping others on their sobriety journey.
And to that point, I saw actor Hank Azaria. You
know him, right. Hank Azaria says that it was Matthew
Perry who took him to his very first Alcoholics Anonymous
meeting and helped him get sober and stay sober. So

(04:42):
I want to remember Matthew Perry that way. He was
just fifty four years young, and his family. I thought
it was very telling when they released a statement, they
made sure to thank and mention his fans because Matthew
Perry wasn't just a popular actor, he was a beloved
actor known all over the world. You know, shows aren't

(05:06):
as massive as Friends was back in the day.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
An it's a juggernaut. That's a once in a generation
type show. I mean it's that and Seinfeld. Yeah, that era,
and that's it for fifteen years.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Yeah, and it lasted almost I think it was like
nine or ten years. It was. It ran for a
long time, and it would get like twenty million plus
viewers a week, and everybody would watch it, old old people, teenagers,
college students, people in their forties like me. Now, so
it crossed generation and it goes also back to you know,

(05:40):
the power of laughter and comedy and how you can
heal people and make them feel So it's sad, and
I know that people want answers, but we don't really
have any answers right now. Here's what we know. On
Saturday afternoon, his body was discovered dead. It's interesting to
note that because they did not attempt to resuscitate, there

(06:02):
was nothing they could do. By the time first responders
arrived at his house, they found him in his hot tub.
His assistant had gone to run some errands for him
and was the one who found his body. I really
hope that person is able to get some kind of therapy,
because having to find your debt, having to find anybody.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Anybody, I mean, just seeing anyone unconscious is it's scary.
So yeah, at.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
This moment, they are not expecting or saying there's any
foul play involved. You know, there's some idiot conspiracy theorists
out there. Of course, there were no drugs, according to
reports found on the scene. Some outlets are reporting that
there was prescription medication found at his house, but nothing
out of the ordinary anti anxiety and depression medication which

(06:51):
a lot of people in their fifties take. What's interesting
for me is going back now and looking at the
post that he had done prior to his death. His
very last post was of him in that hot tub,
and he captioned it, oh so warm water swirling around

(07:12):
makes you feel good. I'm Matt Man. And earlier this
year he had you know, he didn't post regularly on Instagram,
but then over the last month he started posting a lot.
Some of his fans characterized that as erratically and we're
leaving him, you know, really kind messages of support on

(07:34):
Instagram and apparently this whole matt Man thing Batman thing
he mentioned in his book when times were tough for him.
I don't want to characterize. I don't want to speculate.
I don't know what was going on in his life
the last month. But he leaves behind his parents. They split,
but his father, actually is his stepfather is a respected journalist,

(07:58):
Keith Morrison from day. His father his biological dad, that's
his stepdad. His father is an actor, popular some you know,
obviously not as popular as Matthew Perry, but an actor.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Working actor in Hollywood. His first role was on his
dad's television show.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yeah, and you know, it made me extra sad to
see them outside his house and the Papa Razzi there.
I didn't publish those photos or share them or anything
like that because I don't think that's appropriate. You know,
they just found out that this guy died. You know,
a lot of fans are wanting to hear from the

(08:34):
friends co stars, the major ones. A lot of guest
stars have spoken out from the person who played his
mom on Friends, Morgan Fairchild to Janice to Brookshields. I've
seen a ton of people speak out, even Gwyneth Paltrow
share a funny, cute anecdote about working together in Massachusetts

(08:55):
at Williamsburg Theater Festival and making out with him once.
I'm like, she's connected to everybody, like Godeth, Paul Trow.
But we haven't heard from you know, Jennifer Aniston and
Courtney Cox and David Swimmer and LeBlanc and Lisa Kudro
and obviously they're in shock and they're grieving, and I
expect we will hear from them, just because somebody like

(09:16):
Jennifer Aniston, we know she hates social media, we know
she only uses it to sell her products. But I
do believe that the Friends cast cares about their fans,
and they are aware enough to know that a statement
from them would be healing and helpful to a lot
of people. So I expect them to release a joint statement. Yeah, agreed,

(09:40):
because that's how they always were. Like remember back in
the nineties, they were the exception to the rule. You know,
Hollywood is cutthroat and sitcom stars for the most part
then and still today, even on ensemble shows, people would
negotiate independently to try to get as much money as
possible when they do their renew and initial contracts. But

(10:02):
the Friends cast did this thing called favored Nations where
they negotiated as a group and they each got paid
the same. So they'll release a joint statement at the
same time across their socials.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
We'll get that today or not.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
I mean, you know, they could take their time.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
The guy just passed.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
They could I think that they'ren't gonna want to say something.
Look what are they gonna say? We're heartbroken or crushed?
This is unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
The creators of Friends did release a joint statement, the
three creators, and you know, they expressed a similar sentiment.
But then they also tied it to the show. They
you know how the shows all had similar titles, the one,
this one, that, the one that, that one, whatever, So
they kind of I forget exactly what they said, but
like the one that.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Broke our Hearts, I believe is what they said.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Very sad. Did you ever get to meet Matthew Perry?

Speaker 1 (10:52):
I was thinking about that the other day. I don't
believe that I've met him. I know, I met Courtney
at Sundance.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
She's the only one I met as I've met as well.
I was on an episode of her former show Dirt
where she.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Played a gossip reporters.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Oh, I forgot about that show.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Wow, it didn't. It didn't last more than a season
or two. But it was cool to be there and
being at the table read through and you know, be
a legitimate actor. Yeah. Light and healing to all of
Matthew Perry's loved ones. You know. Shocking, but still very
very very sad. Onto lighter news. Britney spears. Since our

(11:33):
last show, this clip leaked of her auditioning for that
movie The Notebook that was a very popular romantic drama
from the early hal thousand. You haven't seen it yet, no, Yeah,
she auditioned for the Rachel McAdams role, the lead. Yeah,
and listen, I really like Brittany. I am a fan,

(11:55):
I am a supporter, but I also like to keep
it real. Of these Britney fans were hyping this audition
up and I'm like, oh my god, wow, amazing. I
can't wait to watch it. I watched it and it
wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either, Like it was
like it was decent, but I'm like, obviously, Rachel McAdams
was so much better.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
And you've seen Brittany actually be good on some sitcoms
I have. I mean, she was funny on Friend.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
No, Will and Grace, Will and Grace, she was funny,
And I think which was the one she was like
the ditzy assistant?

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Was it Will and Grace?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Well, she did Will and Grace, and I think she
also did Big Bang Theory.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
No, she did both. No, I don't think she did. Dude,
I'm a perfect fan, all right, But you're right. I
feel like there was one other show, like How I
Met Your Mother or something.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Oh, maybe that's what I was thinking of.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
But whatever it was that I've seen her on, she
was pretty good. But if you guys, think of The
Notebook and by the way, you'll find no bigger.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
You're right, Yes, she did How I Met Your Mother.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Okay, you'll find no one bigger of a fan than
The Notebook. It's a fantastic movie, but if you pull
back lens, it is a fucking Hallmark movie all day long.
It's like one of those shitty, terrible, you know what's
gonna happen kind of movies. But they got two extraordinary
actors in Rachel McAdams and Ryan what's his balls?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Gossang.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
They made it something bigger than it possibly ever could be,
because if you read the script, like I said, it's Hallmark.
But those two were just so great. So it's almost
patently unfair to compare anybody to Rachel McAdams because she's
so she's such a stellar actor. She really is a
stellar actor.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
I never saw that movie. I never seen The Notebook, thankfully,
I don't know. It looks so cheesy. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
It is, but it isn't. It's a great story. It's
the thing between those two people, Like in my life,
I'm trying to remember, has there ever been better chemistry
in movies than those two together. It's like you could
feel it.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
I like romantic comedies, I don't like romantic dramas.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
It's got a little funny to it. It's not total sap.
There is some funny moments, and Ryan's funny, and it's
a great movie. It really is a great, great movie.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Well, speaking of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake has come under
a lot of heat since the release of her memoir
last week, so much so that he's turned off his
comments on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
I think that's such a pussy move, right, just.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Leave them up there, I know, don't read.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Them, Yeah, don't read them. And it's like they're not
going to affect your brand deals or anything like that, right,
or maybe that's it. Maybe that's exactly what it is.
He's got this trolls movie coming out and he wants
to focus on that. I don't know, but I'm not
a fan of. Like I remember, even years ago, years ago,
on this podcast, I went on one upset that Taylor's

(14:46):
sway have turned off her comments on Instagram. Member, because
I want to comment, Like.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Even our president on his Instagram. I mean, he leaves
the comments on and you've never seen more hatred and
vitriol in your life. But even the President says, fuck it,
I'm leaving them on. It's America. You want to say
this shit, go ahead and say it. So if the
president can do it, I think Justin Timberlake could do it.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Well. The President's definitely not checking his Instagram comments.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
He's checking his underwear.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
I don't know. I'm so over all politics.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Speaking of Brittany, she revealed in her memoir an interesting tidbit,
you know you her sons. A lot of people criticize
her for the very naked photos that she posts on Instagram.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
At the time. Out when do I criticize her, I
always say I love naked photos. I'm like, bring on
the nudity, show me, Titty, I've said them five million times.
What are you talking about. It's no criticism for me.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
All right, Well, find a lot of her sons and
a lot of people. She says, quote, I know that
a lot of people don't understand why I love taking
pictures of myself naked or in new dresses. But I
think if they'd been photographed by people thousands of times,
prodded and posed for other people's approval, they'd understand that

(16:06):
I get a lot of joy from posing the way
I feel sexy and taking my own picture. All Right,
we don't have to try to understand or even agree.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
I'm going to I'm glad you said it, though, because
I wasn't even going to dissect it. I was like, Okay,
we don't have to.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Speaking of Brittany going back to Justin for a moment.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Justin a lot of.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Fans are calling on him to make a vow to
never perform Crime Me a River again, the song he
wrote about Britney Spears and actually there's this one video
that went viral of Justin addressing that in the past,
he said that people wanted him to stop performing crime
or River. It's not anything new, and his response to

(16:53):
that during a show was fuck that, And I agree
with him.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I hated when parent More stopped performing their big.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Hit misery business. Yeah guess what, and now it's back.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Yeah, you know, I'm sure listen. I'm sure people do
tell Taylor Swift like you shouldn't sing Dear John or
this or that or the other, but she's gonna sing
it anyways.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Right, there's this some forty one song where he talks
about should have had an abortion? Abortion, abortion, Da da
da da. I don't want to make anyhow I was
when we were young, and I was watching as he
was about to deliver that lyric. I'm like, you know,
it's such a woke world, like is everybody gonna like
poo pooh? He screamed it, and the crowd screamed it

(17:36):
louder than anything else. They screamed the entire second, the
whole place is like, I was like, what the fuck.
So there's there's a lot of kickback to this nonsense
of you shouldn't do this and you shouldn't do that.
I think there's a lot of pushback. And I feel
the same about Crimea River to these people. Don't go

(17:56):
to the show if you don't want to see Justin perform.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
That's It's what I've said time and time again. After
enough time in the public eye, the people that are
your fans, they're probably going to remain your fans, and
the ones that don't like you, this will just be
more ammunition to dislike you. It's as simple as that.
All Right, one last Brittany related item and then we'll
move on. Brittany, as I think I might have mentioned

(18:20):
on the Patreon show, had only positive things to say
about sam Escari, her husband. They're still not divorced yet.
She even called him a gift from God. So after
sam as Gary read that, what does sam A's Gary do,
he allegedly staged a paparazzi walk and talk where a

(18:43):
paparazzi videographer happened to run into him and ask him
some questions about that. Listen, I respect the thirst. I
respect the thirstiness, and didn't she make him sign an
NDA Like even a pos positive thing, doesn't that technically
violate the NBA. If you're talking positively about Brittany, you like,

(19:05):
should you just say nothing?

Speaker 1 (19:07):
It really depends on just what it says. I mean,
if it says you can't whisper her name, you can't
say it. Or if it's you just can't talk about
the details of the divorce, I'm guessing it's that, So
he could probably still say I'm flattered.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah, the thirstiness worked because we're talking about it, and
it got him a lot of attention, and b he
probably also made money off of that too, So kudos
to you. All right, more music related news. As we
mentioned a couple of weeks ago, or maybe a month
ago now, Usher is going to be performing at the
Super Bowl halftime show in my new hometown of Las

(19:42):
Vegas next year, and he's trying to get Justin Bieber,
his protege, to join him for the halftime show performance.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Oh cool.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
According to reports, Bieber turned down ussher why he's focusing
on his health. I mean, I'm not going to mock that.
I just don't understand how much of a time commitment
that would take. I don't think it to make it
like a really quick.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Can a couple of shitty dance moves and go out
there and sing a song that he sang four million
times before and do it on the Super Bowl doesn't
seem like it'd be that big of a deal. But hey,
I look there's pressure attached to it. Maybe he doesn't
want that kind of pressure right now. He's trying to
stay out of the limelight. Yeah, each his own, I guess.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Yeah, I agree. I was telling my mom this last night,
like I I've been doing a lot of media lately
for a variety of different topics. I was telling my mom,
you know, I've been getting a lot of really bad anxiety,
and doing the shows is not what gives me anxiety.
The anxiety is, oh, I know I have this coming
up in ten minutes. It's the lead up to it.

(20:48):
It's like, oh, I need to stop working now, but
I want to get more work done, and it's the end,
and then it's like, okay, get it, and I'm on
hold and I'm waiting and I can't do anything. It's
like everything else except for the actual moment is what
gives me the actual work is easy.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
I always found that to be the case too. I
always hated the lead up moments before doing something. Soon
as the light is on, it's like, oh, this is
what I did. This is easy.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Yeah. I would love to see Justin Bieber do it
all right. I don't want to mention this woman's name
because I don't want anybody going out there and sending
her unkind comments because I know the power of Taylor
Swift's fans. They are a lot of them out there.
There are a lot out there, and they're very passionate.

(21:32):
Travis Kelsey's publicist shared this social media post a couple
of days ago, where, you know, she posted a photo
of herself and for some shocking reason, put a clown
emoji over Taylor Swift's face. Did you see that?

Speaker 1 (21:52):
I did. I saw the whole story, and there's a
bunch of conspiracy theories around it, like this whole relationship
is fraudulent, which is interesting because she is a attached
to the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
And this woman in the past worked for Scooter Braun,
Taylor Swift's longtime nemesis. I get it, she just wanted to.
I mean, I don't get it. Like if you just
wanted to post a photo of yourself at the game, Like,
post a photo of yourself at the game, But why
post that photo that Taylor is in the frame and
then put a clown emoji over her face? It actually

(22:23):
doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
I don't know either. The whole thing's weird.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
But it wouldn't surprise me if she is today or
sometime soon, Travis Kelcey's former publicist. Do you think she'll
get fired over that? And should she get fired over that?

Speaker 1 (22:37):
It depends on her intent. She has a private account.
How's Travis gonna deal with this? Does he care enough?
Did he even know that this was his publicist? You
know what I mean? Like, there's so many questions. Who knows?

Speaker 2 (22:48):
I would probably fire her just because a publicist should
not be a distraction. A publicist should not be creating
their own headlines.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Well, you can't become the story exactly, and.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
A publicist should know better. And I'm I'm not saying
that's what he should do. That's what I'm saying, that's
what I would do probably, And I'm not advocating for that.
You know, I don't want anybody to lose their jobs,
but Yeah, it's a big lapse of judgment. I say,
I think, did.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
You listen to the album? I did, Okay your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
It feels like this re record it could just be
my brain playing tricks on me. It sounds different, like
even the rerecordeds, like the re recorded songs don't white
sound as faithful. Or maybe it's the mixing or the
way it's recorded.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Well, it's definitely mixed differently for sure. Yeah, mixed to
sound bigger. Twenty two sounds a little bigger, but I
still like it the original way. Like my favorite Tailor
song is Style.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
That one sounds very different. Yeah, that one was trending
on social media.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
The production of it when it very first started is bigger,
and I actually liked it. I was like ooh. Then
the singing started. Then I was like, Mmm, this is
everything I feared that was going to happen with these albums.
That it just sounds like a cover from the artist
covering themselves, and there's just there's a little bit of
heart or something about it. I don't know if it's

(24:13):
just the youth or the moment or the freshness of
singing about what had happened to you at that moment
instead of years later. But you're right, there's something that
this whole album. It's fine, it doesn't suck, it's just
there's something that's different that I wouldn't say. It's not
that it's not good, it's fine, but there's something missing.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Well, this is unheard of Taylor's nineteen eighty nine re record.
Taylor's version obviously is going to debut at number one,
and I think we mentioned on the Patreon show that
I didn't perceive there to be a lot of buzz
leading up to it doesn't need to be exactly, But
then I said, Taylor doesn't even need buzz because she
is her own buzz. She doesn't even need the media

(24:57):
because she is her own media. And despite seemingly being
very little buzz leading up to the re release, it's
going to debut at number one, selling between one point
four to five and one point five to five million
units its first week moving.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
It's not selling any moving streaming, right, It's what I
always said. She has a lot of fans and they're
all gonna check it out.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Well, speaking of Taylor Swift, Taylor and Travis costumes a
plenty this Halloween weekend. I loved seeing that all sorts
of variations of that, and I love seeing all the
gay guys dressed up as Travis Kelcey. Taylor Swift has
really made the gays into football.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
I like saying, a bunch of gay guys dressed up
like Taylor Swift. That's been even more fun for me.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
That's fun. Another very popular Halloween costume this weekend was
Britney Spears. In fact, some big celebrities dressed up as
Britney for Halloween. Paris Hilton did Brittany as the flight
attendant from the Toxic music video, and Jessica Alba also
did a look from the Toxic music video. She wore

(26:04):
the nude body suit that Brittany wore in that both
Jessica and Paris looked amazing. But the most interesting Halloween
costume that I saw this weekend, because there's layers to this.
Courtney Kardashian, still very pregnant with Travis Barker's baby, went
as Kim Kardashian when she was pregnant and attended the

(26:25):
met gala. She wore you know, like that Missus Doubtfire
carpet or that Missus Doubtfire sofa dress, whatever it looked
like it was kind of really awful. But Courtney allegedly
is like jealous of her sister and has a strained relationship.
Why would you dress up as her for Halloween? Like,
I don't get that.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
I don't think she has a strained relationship with her sister.
I think you're believing plotlines on TV shows. I think
her sister is just fine.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
I don't know. I A lot of siblings do have
those kinds of relationships. I don't Maybe maybe I am.
I'm believing it, but I am believing it. I don't know.
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
I think it's good for business.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
All right. Well, speaking of the Kardashians, I love Kim Kardashian.
She's a hard worker, a good mom, a kind person
and smart. Yeah done more damage to women, oh stop it.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
And their self image and screwing up young children. She's great,
wonderful girl.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
All right. Anyways, I'm a fan, and of course you are.
I am, and unapologetically so for all of the reasons.
And she's a boss and inspiring for the ones that
she may have quote affected negatively, She's inspired a lot
of other women. Okay, she knows how to work it
not everybody does. Kim dropped a new product for her

(27:44):
skims line that broke the internet.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
My internet works fine, by the way.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Oh stop it. She's come out with this new line
of bras that have built in nipples, so you look
like you have hard nips at all times. And at
first I was really confused. I'm like, is this a joke?
Is she just you know, doing clever marketing?

Speaker 1 (28:06):
This is funny. I gotta give her credit. Yeah, it's
fucking brilliant. Can I give you my other thought before
you finish it?

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Yeah, I guarantee you. I fucking guarantee you. There was
a conversation that went on for months. Should we do
it with nipples or should we do it with campbelltoe?
Because I'm telling you, I'm not bullshitting you. It will happen, folks.
Campbeltoe will be a thing. It's gonna be a thing.

(28:32):
You'll all fucking see. Remember this moment, somebody's gonna say,
you know what, let's market campbeltoe.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
That's pretty brilliant.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Actually, I'm telling you. They debated back and forth should
we do the nipples of the campbeltoe? And the nipples
is just risky enough. But the next move is fucking campbelltoe.
You'll see.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Well, just if you haven't heard, it's not a joke.
It's for real, and she really is selling this hard
nipple bra and people are buying it.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
People are stupid.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
I actually, no, no, no, no, I want to hear from
our listeners specifically and especially if you either have bought
the hard nipple bra from Skims or you're going to.
I want to know why. Sincerely call us and let
us know. Eight hundred seventy one one one eight five.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
I'm torn as a man because I love seeing nipples,
but you're not supposed to stare, you know what I mean.
But when you put something on like that, that's saying, hey,
look at these, and you're kind of in this society
frowned upon sort of checking things like that out. You
got to give it a quick glance, a quick you know.
You got to be like a master at looking at tittery,

(29:47):
and I'm pretty good at it. But these just say, hey,
you have to look at them. So I'm very confused
by the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Well, it's not for every woman, it's for those that
really want to be looked at.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
There, I guess I guess that don't mind it. I
like those girls, What are you staring at your fucking nipples?
I'm staring at your nipples.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Keeping up with the nipples with the you know, awesome
of Kim Kardashian. Yeah, I was trying to make some
kind of connection there, but it's not roll out of
the tip of my tongue. Anyways. Kim announced that a
few days ago, and then literally this morning, she continued
the Skims awesomeness. I'm so, I'm truly inspired and impressed.

(30:30):
Just minutes before we started the podcast, I saw this
post from Kim Kardashian announcing that Skims has done a
partnership with the NBA and the WNBA and Team USA basketball.
They are going to be the official underwear partner. And
I know how shit works. Team USA got paid for that.

(30:52):
The WNBA and NBA got paid for that. So Skims
is doing so well.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
For a minute, back, I'm back and back up. You
have to pay to be a sponsor. Yeah, she's paying
them for that honor.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Yeah that's what I said. Okay, Okay, they got paid.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
I thought you were saying the Kardashian No, no, no, like
it's the other way around. No, no, you're right. I
wasn't sure I was hearing that right.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
No, no, no, nbieg. But yeah, that's why I said
that Skims is doing so well that they could afford
to pay icy.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Yeah. Yeah, It's hard to fucking know because everything's full
of shit. She made ten billion dollars from Skims, like
now she fucking didn't. But people do wear that right, Like,
I mean, everybody that I've known that wears that shit
says it's a good product.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Congratulations, is all I can say. In the Kardashian orb
is Bad Bunny. He's dating Kim's sister, Kendall Jenner still
after many months, and he's upset a lot of his fans. Plus,
I just don't understand this thinking. I mean, I'm not
mad at it, but here's this story. The last time

(31:53):
Bad Bunny went on tour, he did a very successful
stadium tour in the United States. Stadiums sold out.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Yeah, he's huge.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Yeah. So now he has announced a new tour for
next year and he's playing arenas. Why would you downgrade
yourself from stadiums to.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Arenas something more intimate? Okay, By the way, stadiums are expensive.
It's an expensive thing to do with stadium tour versus
an arena tour. You're talking, you know, you're talking two
hundred trucks versus one hundred trucks. You know, it's it's
a lot. It's a lot too put on a show
like that.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Well, because there is less space for people, there's more
demand and not enough tickets. Bad Bunny used dynamic pricing.
So the folks that were able to get tickets to
go to his arena show, and his audience is predominantly Latino,
with some non Latinos as well, they had to pay

(32:51):
a lot of money. Tickets were expenive with that dynamic pricing.
So to all those Bad Bunny fans, well, first of all, nobody.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
Forced you to pay those prices, okay.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
And second of all, I feel you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I know you willingly chose to do it, but I
still feel for you. Speaking of money and money issues,
Toy's spelling maybe perhaps doesn't have money issues anymore. According
to reports and photos, she's now renting a fancy new

(33:25):
house in Woodland Hills, fully furnished, and it costs eighteen
thousand dollars a month to rent. She's done with her husband,
he's gone public with his new girlfriend, and maybe a
lot of people are speculating that all this time, Tory
Spelling's mother, Candy just never loved her husband and never

(33:48):
wanted him to have the Spelling money, and now that
he's out of the equation, she's going to start bankrolling toy.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
I buy that, but I still go back to the
theory of she's been getting money all along and she
was never in dire straits. I think it's just a
thing that they put out there. Oh poor me. I'm
relatable on this on that, but I like this theory
that the mom doesn't like the Sun. I like this too,
the Sun and law.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Yeah, all right, also some wacky news. What a way
to come out about things. Former NBA player Dwight Howard.
I think he used to play for the Or He
did at one point play for the Lakers.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Right, I guess he did. He's played for a lot
of teams, but at the very end of his career
he's played for the Lake.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Yeah, he's played for a lot of teams. This guy
has sued him for sexual assault, and he denied those claims,
saying that it was consensual. And there's a lot more
tawdry details about some third party also being involved, blah
blah blah blah. I'm like, ohoh crazy. I was going

(34:52):
to play it, but I don't think we have time.
Flavor Flave doing the National Anthem. You can watch it
on my Instagram or anywhere else. It's worth three minutes
of your time. Highly entertaining and actually I was surprised.
I thought it would be way. I thought it would
be bad. It's not even bad. I enjoyed it. You
gotta check it out. Flavor Flav doing the National Anthem.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
I spent some time with him one on one at
the iHeart Festival for a whole evening we went out.
I mean, he's a sweet guy, really talented too, really
good dude.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
One last thing, but before that, shout out to Patreon
supporters Christine Morano, Jasmine Hannah Limm, Jenna Vitko Jt, Christa Gaudett, Lauren,
Nicole Sanders, and Patty Puentez. Thank you all for your suggestions,
and finally, let's end things on a very positive note.
Former Olympic gymnast Mary lou Retton was near death with

(35:45):
a rare case of pneumonia. Well, the latest update is
that she is home from the hospital and recovering thankfully.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
Let's take a call.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
It's Sarah from New York and from the Patreon. You
played my call call. That is not an old call.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
I called it a timely manner.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
I'm a Day one Patreon supporter. Please will question my
cred in that area. Again, it was timely where I
sent it.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Okay, so maybe I played an old call. Sorry, I
didn't say you were an asshole. I just said I
was shocked that we kind of call so off topic.
But maybe I grabbed that old one.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
We appreciate. I appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Thanks one more calling Jesus Christ.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Hello, my name is three.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
I'm calling from CASSAE at California. This is my first
time calling in. Longtime listener, but I just had.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
To call in.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
I love you both.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
I had to call in.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
About PRES's comments about Brittany not mentioning her drug use
in her book. And for the record, I love Britney Spears,
I will always love Britney Spears, but I understand what
he's saying about not mentioning the drug youth in her book.
Not because it's a shocker or it's any big surprise
or we even need it, But I feel like it
would establish credibility with her other stories, Like if she's

(37:02):
willing to kind of dish about her fault and when
she's calling out other people's faults in mistakes, it would
kind of bring more true or ring more honest as
opposed to if she doesn't mention this huge fault or
ordeal that she went through that could make her look bad,
the book, to me, would feel like not written by her.
It would feel like she gave a bunch of stories

(37:23):
to somewhart of publicist, but she doesn't actually, you know,
maybe remember, and they just took what they wanted and
what they could use to make her look good without
getting them legal trouble and without making her look bad
in any way. And that's not what I want the
Library's memoir. I want the truth. I want raw. I
want you know what she did wrong, what Justin did wrong,
what her mistakes for you know what her dad did

(37:45):
right maybe, or what she when she loves her dad
sometimes or when she hated her dad. I wanted real
ron on it. But yeah, so I understand what that's
the same. Love you both, all right, guy?

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Yeah? And I think Perez's best point to the whole thing.
She's just I'm a victim. I'm a victim. I'm a victim.
That's all you hear. There's no accountability for anything, and
I you know, I agree with that point.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Well, let's just end things with light and love to all.
A big hug to everybody. We appreciate you all. That's all.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Thank you. See you guys, some of you. On Thursday
on the Patreon Take.

Two sisters, one a respected TV producer, Jill Blackstone, and
the other Wendy. She was disabled, nearly blind and deaf,
and Jill had devoted herself to taking care of Wendy.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Jill was her best friend, her sister, her everything.

Speaker 6 (39:03):
But the sister bond was shattered when Wendy and some
of the Sisters rescue dogs were found dead in a
garage next to a topple over barbecue grill. Jill says
accidental carbon monoxide poisoning killed everyone. Police do not believe her.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Police arrested Jill Blackstone for the murder of her sister.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Investigators think it was staged to look like an accident.

Speaker 6 (39:24):
Who will you believe, especially now that a secret source
has come forward with evidence never made public before.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Jill was a good producer, There's no doubt about that.
But would she produce murder? Is the question?
