In this episode I introduce you to The Unity Shoppe which is an organization in Santa Barbara that helps those in need. I interview Angela Miller Beven who is the CEO of the organization about exactly what it is they do, how we can help them, and why she was inspired to leave advertising to do non-profit work.
If you are local to SB and have been thinking about volunteering or getting involved, listen to this episode so we can inspire you to join us in taking care of our community. If you are not local, maybe our conversation can inspire you to find an organization in your home town where you can make a meaningful contribution that will make a positive difference in your own community.
There is a reason I named my show The Power of Community & Collaboration Podcast. I truly believe that when we all come together with good intentions to serve those in need, beautiful and amazing things will happen!
