We live in an age where truth is treated like an opinionâwhere culture says, âYou have your truth, I have mine.â
But truth isnât customizable.Itâs constant.Itâs a Person.
Jesus shattered relativism with one declaration that still splits history in half:
âI am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.â â John 14:6 (ESV)
Iâve watched people chase every pathâmeditation retreats, self-help empires, âfinding themselvesâ in Bali.Every road promised peace. None delivered.Because peace isnât found at the end of a journeyâitâs found in a Person who already made the journey for us.
Our Springboard for Todayâs Discussion Is:
âJesus said to him, âI am the way, and the truth, and the life.No one comes to the Father except through me.âââ John 14:6 (ESV)
Teaching
Jesus didnât give directions to HeavenâHe became the Direction. He didnât offer adviceâHe offered Himself.Heâs not a way among many; Heâs the Way through the wilderness.
This is why Christianity is not âone of many paths.âItâs the only path that leads from death to life.
Personal Resurrection
I know this because I tried the other paths.
I thought I could build a good life on my own termsâshallow roots, sharp tongue, quick temper.I fought with words the way my grandfather taught me: to win, not to heal.
That path was leading me straight into a tomb.I would lose Michelle.I would lose my kids.I would lose myself.
But Jesus didnât leave me there. He didnât say, âTry harder.âHe said, âFollow Me.â
When I finally stopped running and let Him be the Way, the Truth, and the Lifeânot just words on a page, but the living God shaping my daily choicesâeverything changed.
The same power that raised Him from the dead raised my marriage, my family, my purpose.Thatâs not theory. Thatâs resurrection reality. If He can resurrect what I destroyed, He can resurrect anything.
THE WAY
When Jesus says Heâs the Way, Heâs not talking about a mapâHeâs talking about Himself.Humanity doesnât need better directions; we need a divine Driver.
The world says there are many roads. But Jesus is the only bridge.Sin built the canyon; His Cross became the crossing.
THE TRUTH
Truth isnât a philosophy; itâs a Person.Culture changes every decade.Christ never changes.
Truth doesnât evolve with cultureâit transforms it.Our job isnât to edit Jesusâitâs to echo Him.
THE LIFE
Without Him, existence is just survival dressed up as success. With Him, even the grave loses its grip.
He doesnât just improve your lifeâHe is your life.He doesnât just restore breathâHe gives purpose to every breath.
Handling the Hard Truth
Now hear me: the Gospelâs exclusivity isnât Godâs rejectionâitâs His invitation. The door is narrow, but itâs open to anyone. The Way is single, but itâs sufficient for all.
Iâve been called intolerant for saying Jesus is the only way.Iâve been told Iâm being exclusive. But Iâm not excluding anyoneâJesus opened the invitation to everyone. The Cross was open-armed.The Tomb was open for all.The only exclusion is self-exclusionâwhen someone walks away from the only Door that leads to life.
We live in a world that calls conviction hate and compromise love. But Jesus didnât come to win popularityâHe came to win souls. The truth doesnât bend to culture; it redeems it.
Daily Action
Ask yourself:Have I made Jesus my mapâor my Master?Am I following the crowd or following the Cross?
Today, choose the narrow Way, even if it costs you comfort.
Practice
* Read John 14:6 and Acts 4:12 aloud. Let them settle into your spirit.
* Write down every âalternate wayâ youâve triedâself-reliance, success, approvalâand surrender them to Christ.
* Tell one person this week how Jesus became your Way, your Truth, your Life.
Challenge of the Week
Stop editing Jesus to fit culture.Echo Him to transform it.Thereâs only one Wayâand His name is still enough.
Prayer
Father, thank You for sending Your Son to be the Way when I was lost, the Truth when I was confused, and the Life when I was dead inside.
Forgive me for chasing counterfeit paths.Lead me in the narrow way that brings freedom, peace, and purpose.Let my life prove that Your truth still saves, still heals, still reigns. In Jesusâ mighty name, Amen.
The world doesnât need another opinion. It needs the Truth with a name: Jesus. And Heâs not up for debate.

Ruthie's Table 4
For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customersâwho have become friendsâto talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. âFoods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,â says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso CuarĂłn, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafeâs open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
