Tuesday, July 15: Welcome to Ep8 of the Questions Bar — Inkandescent Women’s new podcast and video show that invites you in to listen in on a chat with two girlfriends talking about topics of the day that touch their mind bodies spirit souls and hearts: AlinaZ in Los Angeles and Hope Katz Gibbs in Washington DC.
The mission of the show: To share tools and experiences to manage stress and find hope in our lives each and every day.
In Ep1: Alina and Hope had their first chat about their lives and the anguish they feel post-election in 2025. What will we do to cope with the changes by an administration that does not have our best interests at heart? Ep2: Joy is the topic of the week! And last week on Ep3, the duo discusses how to maintain humor amidst the chaos. In Ep4 they talked about ways to cope with you feel out of control. In Ep5, we they focused on Staying Grounded, come what may, was the focus. InEp6, they offered ideas on how to Tap into the Universal Support System. Then in Ep7, the hosts talked about Riding the Roller Coaster of Life.
This week: The hosts finish up Season 1 of The Question Bar with a conversation about how to find peace in your inner world despite what is happening in the world around you. “The challenges of coping with an administration governing the US makes us feel tremendously sad and powerless,” Alina shares. Hope adds, “And the goal of our show, and for the Empowered Together Network that we co-founded with our dear friend Cynthia de Lorenzi, is to find every way possible to stay calm, cool, and compassionate so we can be the changemakers we wish to be.”
Today’s episode concludes Season 1 of The Questions Bar. Next week starts a new season when Alina and Hope interview some of the changemakers who are doing work to improve the lives of women, and the world — starting with self-defense expert Stun Gun Jen on Ep9.
