Have you heard about the Nordic Diet and perhaps wondered if it was worth a try?

In this episode, I review the Nordic Diet using evidence-based information to help determine if the diet is worth doing or if it is another fad diet that you need to be wary of. 

Diets based on geographical regions and different cultures around the world is nothing new. The most classic example is the Mediterranean diet. 

The Nordic Diet is based along the same lines as those - eating foods that have traditionally and geographically been available in the Nordic countries and eaten by the people of these places. 

However, we need to explore the ins and outs of the diet to see if it is actually a universally viable approach for the greater masses of athletes around the world who want to be healthier and perform better.

  • What is the Nordic Diet?
  • What I like & dislike about it
  • The verdict (should you consider the Nordic Diet for yourself?)
  • Are there any possible ways to improve the diet? (according to a Sports Dietitian)
