Cool Hand James is one of my favorite comedy creators on YouTube.

He has a bloodhound's sense for grifters, and a laser-sharp targeting system on their scams. Plus a gravelly voice, a thick British accent, deadpan delivery, and a devil-may-care attitude for calling out creatures of the online ecosystem that monetize attention through manipulation.

Yes, I laughed, a lot. But James also got me thinking about how easy it is to take people seriously online who shouldn't be taken seriously at all.
