12 :Lawnchair Larry and SauceBox Shenanigans

Welcome back our Loves! This week we catch y’all up with the latest in our lives. Samara and her boyfriend apparently made 5 star restaurant quality fish tacos, complete with a homemade kiwi salsa and mint/cilantro sauce. I’m salivating just thinking of it! Nikki tells us about the hell she went through with her go ‘round with vertigo. Feeling hella drunk without any of the fun? Ugh, honestly sounds like hell! Samara teaches us all about the infamous man called Lawnchair Larry. Buckle up because it’s one hell of a ride (and completely true)! After the rollercoaster ride that is Larry’s story, we discuss his legacy and a few of the people he inspired. Then it’s our dear friend, Jake’s turn. Samara and Nikki bond over their shared fondness of this Oklahomie and share a few good laughs at his expense. Kisses Jakey-poo. Play Bad Choices and go off on a few sexually charged tangents. Blame Nikki (obviously). Nikki’s book rec this month is a series by Kendare Blake called Three Dark Crowns. Absolutely excellent fantasy read about three sisters all born and raised to be the last one standing and Queen. Note: The total cost of Larry’s contraption was about $4,000 in 1982 (about $13,800 today). Also, Nikki was wrong. The series she loved so much and recommended in this episode is actually a four book series, not a three book series like she said.
