Theresa Menting – Visionary Leader | Community Connector | Creative Strategist
I'm Theresa Menting, and I'm passionate about building connections, empowering women, and creating opportunities for growth. As the Founder and Executive Director of We EmpowHER, I've spent the last eight years cultivating a movement that supports and uplifts women and children through transformative programming, mentorship, and community. I saw a need in my community, and I turned it into a life-changing organization.
I'm the creator of Wisconsin HER Day, a partnership with the Wisconsin HERD that's brought together over 700 women from across the state. I also founded the Empowerment Exchange, a virtual platform that reached over 10,000 people globally in its first year. My goal is to continue expanding and touching as many lives as possible.
My journey has not been easy, and I've learned that personal struggles often become our greatest strengths. I've used my experience with trauma to help others find their voice and their healing path. In 2016, I had the privilege of sharing my story on the TEDx stage in a talk called "Sharing Your Story, to Unlock the Shackles."
With a background in social networking, marketing, and event design, I bring a strategic approach to leadership. I'm also the owner of Sweet N Easy Events LLC, where I craft meaningful events that reflect my commitment to supporting women and families.
I'm a proud mother of three beautiful children and soon-to-be stepmother to another. I'm deeply committed to fostering an environment of growth and empowerment for everyone I work with, from my team to the women and children we serve.
Currently, I'm leading the expansion of We EmpowHER into Green Bay and surrounding areas, bringing our transformational programs to new communities. I see We EmpowHER as a global movement, one that connects and empowers women everywhere.
I'm a builder of bridges, a believer in possibility, and a leader who continues to shape the world with heart and action.
