(00:00):
It is week four of theSelf-Love 100, and I am
so glad you are back.
You are here.
How have the pastcouple of weeks been?
Good.
I hope so.
Last week we focused all aboutthe last two weeks actually.
We focused on cleaning andclearing and organizing
our homes, our spaces, and the environments that

(00:21):
we inhabit consistently, constantly day to day.
I will be honest, I amstill working on this one.
It is sometimes a really bigtask to actually clean and
clear the spaces in our lives, especially when there are so
many other things that mightbe going on in our life.
As you know, for me it isofficially one week since

(00:42):
my self-love expo bloom.
And it was such an amazingday filled with so much
connection, so much love andself-love, reflection, and
just a full day of kindnessand so many different people
connecting with each other.
I for sure have learned a lotdoing this last bloom, and I

(01:02):
cannot wait to do the next one.
So stay tuned because I'llbe announcing the date
for our next self-loveexpo really, really soon.
So because of Bloom, my wholelife feels like it's a mess.
It's everywhere.
It's so many things.
So I'm trying my best rightnow to clean up my life and

(01:22):
figure out what's next for me.
What's next for the self-lovearchives before we get
to our next bloom, beforewe get into the planning
phases of the next bloom.
So in reality, myhouse is a mess.
My environments are all overthe place, and I need to
get back into routine andask myself, what, what does

(01:43):
that look like for me now?
Now that the biggest projectof 2025 has come to a
close for me, what does mylife, what are my routines?
What does the self-love100 look like for me now?
So we are on toweek number four.

(02:03):
Let's get into it.
Welcome back to the SelfLove Archives podcast.
I'm your host, Julia Salvia, your self love bestie, and I'm
so excited to be introducingyou or welcoming you back to

(02:24):
this self love 100, a 100 datejourney of loving yourself more
that we are working on for 15weeks till the end of 2025.
We are getting our livestogether and I hope that on
January 1st, 2026, we aregoing into this new year,
loving ourselves more.
Week number four maycome super easy to you.

(02:46):
It may be something that youalready are doing, and I hope
that you are because it is so,so imperative, important for
us to do, and that is drinking.
Water.
It is recommended thatwe have around eight
glasses of water a day.
But I always like to takethat a step further because
it doesn't hurt to have, Ithink in, in my eyes, if it

(03:10):
helps push you to drink morewater by having a larger goal.
By all means.
So I love the goal of drinkingone gallon of water, which
sounds like a lot whenyou think of it, like I
think of a gallon of milk.
Oh my gosh.
When I was younger, weused to go to Costco and
we'd have like four tosix, I'm not even joking.

(03:32):
Growing up, it's what happenswhen you have three siblings,
like four to six gallons ofmilk in the refrigerator.
It was just insane.
So whenever I think of agallon of water, I think of
one of those Costco gallonsof milks, and I'm like, oh,
that's a lot of water todrink throughout the day.

(03:53):
And.
I realized that when I brokeit down into cups that it
really doesn't seem likethat much water because an
eight ounce glass of wateris not that much water.
It's about like yay big, like probably smaller
than the size of my hand.
Glass of water.
So instead of eight glasses ofwater, it's 16 glasses of water.

(04:16):
But if you can get to eightglasses of water a day,
that is a goal to hold toyourself because that is
amazing in and of itself.
We all know that water iswhat keeps our bodies alive.
Our bodies are madeup of 60% water.
Isn't that insane?
To know that our bodies aremade of 60% water, and if we're

(04:40):
not giving ourselves what we'reliterally made out of, where
else do we get in that nutrient?
Where else do we get that water?
Water not only helps.
Our bodies function the waythat they're supposed to.
It helps our skin, ournails, our hair, our eyes,

(05:00):
our mouth, like it helpsso many different things.
And unless you have beenable to hydrate your
body properly, you're notgonna know how that feels.
And I want you to know howit feels, because just adding
that one thing into your everyday will change your life.
Drinking water.

(05:21):
There are some tricksto actually getting to
drinking a gallon ofwater every single day.
Or if you would like for yourgoal to be that eight cups of
water to start, like if youare starting from literally
drinking no water a day, myrecommendation is your goal
should be that eight cups water.
If you're already reallyhydrating yourself drinking
water every single day,you are going through like.

(05:43):
Three of your Stanley Cups, giveyourself the goal of drinking
a gallon of water a day.
I want you to meet yourselfwhere you actually are, and as
we go through this challenge,if you are reaching, finally
reaching that eight cups ofwater every single day, and
you're realizing, oh, thiswhole week I got to eight cups

(06:03):
of water, maybe up it to nine,then 10, then 11, 12, 16.
Work with yourself.
Work with yourself whereyou are in this very moment.
Meet yourself where you are.
There are definitely somany ways that can help you
actually get to those 16 cupsor one gallon of water, and

(06:24):
I know a lot of people loveto use those water bottles
that have, you know, drinkthis by 1:00 PM, drink this

by 4:00 PM, drink this by 6 (06:31):
00 PM For me, I like using a.
Cup that I know how, okay, how many times do I
have to fill this today?
How many times do I haveto drink through it?
Usually it's a 40 ounceStanley cup or 40 ounce sim,
simple modern cup, and Iwill fill it up three times.

(06:53):
So.
40, 40 and 40, I know thatI need to fill it up three
times in order to reachabout 15 cups of water.
And then normally I'm drinkingthat one additional cup
somewhere else within theday from something else.
Something else that couldreally work well for you is
making sure you have a cup ofwater right when you get up.

(07:16):
That is something thatI really like to do.
I always have my cup of waternext to my bedside and I
always drink some right whenI wake up and I kind of swish
it, which I, it's so funny.
I find it so gross, swishing it in my mouth,
but it helps kind of like.
Bring all of your salivationglands to life and

(07:37):
hydrate yourself a lot.
It just hydratesyou a lot faster.
So I like to have a cup, right, exactly when I wake up, to kind
of kick off and start my day.
And then I always make sureto have a cup of water or
have a good amount of my waterwith every meal that I have
a day, whether it's a snack,lunch, breakfast, dinner, um,

(08:00):
dessert, whatever it may be.
Just so that I'm not, it'salmost like knocking off
a lot of that water thatI might feel overwhelmed.
Like if you get to the end ofthe day, it's 10:00 PM you're
about to go to sleep, andthen you realize, oh shit, I
have like six cups of water.
I still have the drink.
Can be so incrediblyoverwhelming to sit there and

(08:21):
be like, oh my God, how am Igonna drink all of this water
before I go to sleep tonight?
So that's it for week four.
Drink your water.
Meet yourself where you're at.
If that's eight cupsof water a day, do it.
Get it.
Reach those goals everysingle day this week.
Or if you are already a proat getting in your water,

(08:43):
take it a step further andget to that one full gallon
of water every single day.
Let me know how you feelat the end of this week.
I know this might be a littlebit of a struggle for me
because in the craziness ofeverything, I have definitely
needed to drink a lot morewater, including electrolytes.
Cutting in electrolytes toyour water too can be so

(09:04):
incredibly helpful as well.
I have my Amazon linkedbelow with all of my
favorite electrolytes.
One of my absolute,absolute, absolute
favorites is trace minerals.
Just add a coupleof drops to it.
Electrolytes are of course, going to help hydrate
your body with specificminerals, including, um,
sodium and magnesium.

(09:24):
Two things that yourbody really, really needs
and a couple of others.
And water is so good forour mind, body, and soul.
So you've got this this week.
This one is a good one, andyou're gonna feel amazing
by the end of week four.
I will see you next weekfor week number five
of the Self-Love 100.
Bye.
