BLKZEN is an Afro-Guyanese New York native. He spends a lot of time creating and collaborating with international & interdisciplinary creators which gave him the key to understanding his process.
Zen has made many fusions of genres. Each genre is a toolkit of sounds with their own culture and feeling with distinct musical landscapes. He has been traversing across countless landscapes using these different tools and when he returns to his toolbox, he brings back foreign tools to bring unique landscapes in his head to life.
