Sheila (00:04):
Most people don't
realize that the most powerful
creations happen in the quietmiddle, when you're still
becoming the version of you whocan actually hold what you've
asked for.
You don't need to have it allfigured out, but you do need to
know how to move through thatin-between space without
unraveling your vision.
This episode is your invitationto create while you're still
(00:26):
becoming and to let your nextlevel rise from within your real
life, not in spite of it.
Hi, welcome to the podcast.
I'm Sheila Botelho, holisticbusiness strategist, creator of
the Season Success Method andyour guide to growing success
(00:49):
from the inside out.
This space is where we explorewhat it looks like to scale or
pivot your business, your impactand your self-leadership in a
way that feels aligned, profitable and rooted in who you
actually are.
And today's solo chat is comingto you from a space of
(01:09):
transition, and I want to bereally present in how I share
this, because I'm in a moment ofbecoming.
I'm not at the starting line, not at the finish line, but
somewhere in between, and it's aspace I know you may be
familiar with as well, and it'sa space I know you may be
familiar with as well.
This episode is for you if youare building while you evolve,
(01:30):
if you're scaling while you'reletting go, and if you're
creating from within a very realand very full life, and not
waiting until everything isperfectly packaged.
So let's go there.
Something I've learned aboutbeing in business for the long
haul is that the duality nevergoes away the both and becomes
(01:55):
your daily norm.
You might be onboarding newclients while grieving an old
identity.
You could be launchingsomething while recalibrating
how you lead your team.
You could be scaling up whilesetting deeper boundaries.
None of these things aremutually exclusive.
The seasoned founders that Iwork with know how to hold space
(02:19):
for both.
They don't need everything tobe wrapped up in a neat bow
before moving forward, and thatis where the legacy building
energy starts.
Done in silence, it can be donein a whole variety of noise as
(02:50):
well, but then somehow it's likefinding that quiet in the midst
of it, that eye of the storm.
It's often layered, messy andunexplainable until the very end
, and I've realized that this ishow I'm building right now.
Some of the things I'm workingon haven't been shared yet, and
it's not because they're secret,but because they're really
sacred to me and they're stilltaking shape.
(03:11):
So this is your permission aswell to create before you
explain, to build before youdefine what you're working on,
and to trust that what's formingin the dark will eventually
find its light.
So, without sharing specificdetails, because there's so many
moving parts and things arecontinually shifting, there are
(03:33):
some really meaningfultransitions underway in my life
and they've been brewing for along time, and I'm talking seeds
that were planted like seeds ofintention, planted probably 25
years ago and right now they'retaking shape.
25 years ago and right nowthey're taking shape.
(03:55):
So what I want you to know isyou don't owe the world your
process before you've lived it.
There is so much power intending to the sacred quietly,
which goes away from and against, really, our very, very active
social media world, whereeverything's captured on video
and photo.
This is a time where there canbe leadership in building your
(04:17):
next chapter without announcingit before you're actually ready.
It doesn't make you less bold,it actually makes you more
anchored.
So this season in my life doesfeel incredibly pivotal, and
there are things happening rightnow that I've dreamed of for
years, and five years ago I gotcrystal clear on what I was
(04:40):
stepping into, but the timingwasn't right yet.
So many other things had toevolve.
And now what's happening toevolve.
And now what's happening isit's landing and it feels right.
I've always had big, beautifulgoals for how I want to live,
how I want my days to feel andwhat I want my legacy to look
(05:03):
like.
And your legacy can be takingshape from a very young age too,
like regardless of where youfind yourself in the terms of
what decade of your life you'rein.
Legacy will look differentdepending on where you're at,
but you can be living yourlegacy right now.
It doesn't need to be in your80s and 90s.
(05:24):
I've always had big, beautifulgoals for how all of these
things are pulled together, andI also have a life partner who I
love deeply my husband of 29years and my two almost grown
sons, who are 19 and 17, who arestepping into their own lives.
(05:47):
It's an incredibly excitingtime for each of them stepping
into their own lives.
It's an incredibly excitingtime for each of them, and you
know their dreams matter too.
I've been seeding the intentionand helping them seed their own
intentions at the same time.
So I'm navigating what it meansto hold space for everyone to
win, while staying true to mypath and, honestly, the last
(06:11):
five years weren't just aboutbuilding a business.
They were also about sheddingover-functioning the kind that
hides in the corners of yourlife, the kind that looks like
being helpful but actually thatburns you out.
So now I'm choosing to walkforward with my eyes wide open,
(06:31):
without over-functioning and itis easier said than done.
I'm not sure if you haveexperienced this yourself, if
you know what I'm talking aboutand at the same time, I'm still
showing up for the people I love, I'm still being in service.
However, I'm not sacrificing mybody anymore.
I'm not sacrificing myboundaries or my brilliance in
(06:53):
the process.
That has been my biggestpersonal growth edge.
The second edge is actuallyliving my season's success
method, which means slowing down, resting, tuning into what's
mine, not just what is trending.
(07:14):
Recently, I had a detoxflare-up that forced me to pause
and my mind was ready to sprint, but my body said, nope, we are
doing things differently now.
So I have been moving with somuch intention, making fewer
moves but higher impact ones, and the internal work has been
(07:35):
about sitting with that bubblingdesire to run, while choosing
to honor the healing, to givespace to my relationships and to
let what is truly aligned havetime to rise.
Here's the thing we're livingin an era of rapid innovation
and the pace is a breakneck, andif you're not careful, you'll
(07:57):
start to believe that speedequals success.
But for me, right now, discernment is everything.
What is mine in this season?
That is the only question thatmatters, and I'm learning to act
from alignment to be in theright rooms, to create the rooms
that I need when they don't yetexist.
(08:18):
All while honoring my body, allwhile letting it be enough to
move slow and steady towardssomething sacred.
Let's talk about this for amoment, because it's something I
see across the board with thepeople I support.
Slowing down doesn't meanstalling out.
It means being intentional.
(08:40):
It means actually having thecapacity to hold the success
that you're building.
It means leading your businesswith your nervous system intact
Inside expansion season.
This is what we build Businessfoundations rooted in your real
life, not in hustle culture.
So if you're in a season whereyour body's asking for more, for
(09:05):
more rest, more clarity, moresimplicity, that doesn't make
you weak.
It actually is a very wisething.
Your body is asking of you Atthis level of leadership.
Emotional precision is whatsets you apart.
You know how to read the room.
You know when something'saligned, you know when it's
(09:27):
performative, you know when it'stime to move and when it's time
to release something, andbecause of that, your actions
land harder, your resultscompound faster, your energy is
used with discernment and youdon't get depleted.
So the edge, it's not hustle,it's clarity.
(09:51):
In this season, I'm leaning intostructure that feels nourishing
, which looks like spacious timeblocks with margin for me to
move them.
Movement and silence eachmorning.
Simplified, offers a smallernumber of high impact
connections, and this is what'sholding me.
It truly is, and it's allowedme to build while becoming so, I
(10:13):
invite you to ask yourself whatstructure supports your next
level and what would it looklike to let your business be
easier?
Right now, that still meansputting in the work, but it's
putting in the work thatactually moves the needle, the
work that's actually aligned andthat which will yield the
results you're truly after, notjust the shiny metrics that
(10:36):
everyone else is doing.
So if this conversation hasresonated with you, I want to
invite you into the nextevolution of your business.
Inside Expansion Season.
We take everything I've talkedabout today and turn it into
systems, strategies andself-leadership practices that
(10:57):

over-functioning and ready toscale with intention.
