Let me share something thatcame up for me recently as we
were getting close to the finishline of our move.
One day I had a really fullschedule, so many things that I
wanted to get done, but truly, Iwas tired.
I ended up taking a nap torecalibrate, but that only
happened after I gave myselfpermission to take something off

my calendar.
I love to share stories likethat as often as possible
because we all need to giveourselves that permission.
It was an interaction that I'dnormally prioritize, something
I'd do for someone else.
But in that moment, I realizedthat it could wait.
No one was telling me I had todo it right then.
It was my old self-speaking,the version of me who felt the

need to always show up foreveryone else before myself.
Now, when I let that go, I feltan instant spaciousness, both
in my mind and in my day.
It gave me 20 minutes to rest.
And that reset changedeverything.
I accomplished what matteredmost with a clear head and a

light heart.
That moment reminded me thefirst piece of communication we
need to focus on isn't the wordswe share with others.
It's the conversation we'rehaving with ourselves.
Are we operating in presenttime?
Or are we reacting from a pastversion of ourselves, running an
old program we haven't yetchallenged or redefined?

Because once that internalcommunication shifts, everything
else follows.
Our team conversations getcleaner, our client messaging
becomes more aligned, and ourpersonal relationships flow with
greater ease.
It all starts with you.
That is true self-care forbusiness.

When you honor your ownevolution, your messaging
naturally evolves too.
The words you choose will startmatching the version of you
that's rising.
