Sheila (00:02):
There's a moment in
every business where the offer
that built your success stopscreating the same results.
Most people ignore that moment, try to push through it, or hope
that it resolves itself.
And often it never does.
The gap only gets wider.
The leaders who scale are theones who recognize the signal
early and evolve their offer tomatch the sophistication of
(00:25):
their clients who are alreadysitting in the room with them.
Hi, welcome to the podcast.
I'm Sheila Botelho, and Ibelieve that true success is
built from the inside out.
You're listening to a mini sodedesigned to help you live into
what lights you up this week.
Have you been finding thatyou've been feeling a little bit
of friction in your businesslately?
(00:46):
And I'm not really talking byfriction, I'm not talking about
burnout or even boredom, but I'mtalking about this subtle
awareness that something isn'tlanding the way that it used to.
And if that's the case, ofcourse, this is something that
happens.
It's just part of the journeyof business ownership.
(01:07):
It's not your energy and it'snot even the algorithm.
There's a lot of changehappening as we've been talking
about here on the podcast interms of technology and how we
do things.
However, what I believe you maybe noticing, one possibility,
is that you're noticingsomething I call the client
evolution gap.
Now, this is where the clientsthat came to work with you or
(01:30):
the people who have bought fromyou have grown.
But your offer or the productsyou're designing may not have
evolved with them yet.
And what I mean by this is wetend to design our offers and
products based on who ourclients used to be.
And what we need to remember isthat everyone changes and
(01:52):
everyone is growing all thetime.
People love change.
As much as they like to saythey don't, we love change.
If you're green, you'regrowing, as they say.
We forget sometimes that thevery clients that we attracted
through our best work or ourbest products are now more
skilled, more resourced, morediscerning, and more
(02:13):
experienced.
And this may even be thanks toyou.
Most likely it is.
And here's where most coachesget stuck.
They keep evolving yesterday'sproblems for clients who are
already living in today'srealities and they're dreaming
into tomorrow.
That mismatch doesn't feel likefailure, though.
(02:34):
It just feels like astagnation.
It's almost hard to name it.
It's like conversations thatused to feel electrifying, now
are not so much, maybe evenfeeling flat.
And it may feel like you arejust pouring lots and lots of
value in and you're not sensingthat same kind of buzz that you
(02:56):
used to experience.
And of course, this is allabout the cycles of business and
the seasons of business too.
We're not always on a massiveclimb.
Business is very often likethis.
It's a bit of a roller coaster.
And that's okay.
That makes it exciting, right?
Like if we look at it that way, then maybe that helps us get up
in the morning and keep going, right?
(03:17):
So most people in theirbusinesses try to fix that with
one or two things.
Let's just say one of them isthe one that I love to talk
about a lot (03:27):
hustling harder.
So just adding more calls, adding more modules, adding more
product line SKUs, adding morebonuses, adding more time.
Or they slow down.
They're completely detaching, they're doing less, which again,
I love to do less also.
But they hope that just themagnetism side of what they're
(03:49):
doing helps people get caught upto them.
And really the true solution, Ibelieve, is neither of those
things.
Because expansion doesn't comefrom doing or less doing.
It's really about information.
(04:10):
Your next season is not builtin spreadsheets alone.
It's built in the rooms whereyou're telling the truth about
what's no longer enough andyou're asking questions and
you're listening to what is thevibe?
What are people wanting?
Because that is how businessevolves.
Now, this is exactly wheremission and purpose clarity and
(04:35):
expanding impact unlockeverything.
When you anchor back into yourreal reason for being in
business, why you're here, whyyou're put on this planet, and
who you're truly meant to beserving right now, you stop
editing yourself to stayrelatable and just following all
these other trends, and youstart leading again.
And you also, during thesetimes where maybe it's a down
(04:58):
cycle, whatever the case may be,it allows you to reinvigorate
your business.
And this is where the legacyframework does the heavy
lifting.
It recalibrates your offer andyour product line to match the
sophistication of your clients, the growth they've experienced,
so that your work is evolvingwith them instead of lagging
(05:21):
behind them.
And that's what keepseverything you're doing more
relevant, alive, and magnetic.
And PS, including a little bitof your own personal secret
sauce in there about what you'reexperiencing in your world, is
one of the ways that keepspeople engaged.
(05:41):
And it really can create a veryloyal customer base, a loyal
community base, a loyalfollowing, whatever it is that
you're growing.
Now, if this hits you in thechest when you listen to this,
that is because you're beingcalled forward.
Your market grew up.
And it's time for your offerand for your products to grow
(06:05):
with them.
If you want support refiningyour next season of business,
just go to the link in the shownotes and tap on getting your
legacy framework and you willhave it all mapped out for you.
We always start with a visionmap, of course, because the
first clarity is the beginningpiece, and then you move into
(06:26):
the legacy framework to take itdeeper.
Thank you so much for beinghere.

your business in the comingyear.
And now is a great time to belooking at this so that the next
year can be so magnificent foryou.
(06:48):
But it all starts really withyourself and looking soberly at
your clients, asking thequestions, listening and going a
little deeper.
You're in this for the longhaul.
And so that means you're goingto be growing and evolving.
