Whether we received what we needed in our childhoods or whether we struggled to connect, we benefit greatly when we attend to our younger selves and give the little one inside each of us the attention they deserve. This week, Dixi and I spent some quality time with our Little Me’s by penning letters to our younger selves. From the lessons learned to the mistakes that shape us, letters to our younger versions are tools that bring out honesty and vulnerability, two attributes that deserve our attention, giving us the opportunity to weave them through our lives. This episode is a reminder that growth is never linear—and that our past selves deserve compassion, too.
