Welcome back to the Stars Made Me Do It.
And welcome to the last episode of our Polarity series.
It is the Virgo Pisces axis. Yeah, the last of 6.
So now if you have any of these axes highlighted or activated in
your chart, we've got an episodefor every single one of them.
Today we are looking at the 6th and 12th sign Virgo and Pisces.
(00:38):
Yeah. So basically what this series is
is we talk about signs that are opposite one another.
They're known as sister signs inastrology, polarities, They are
the signs in the Zodiac wheel that are facing each other.
And so the nature of them is they are opposites.
And we're going to get into all of that.
Like Mimi said, we have now all of the polarities are out there.
(01:01):
We've got every single axis, every single sign is talked
about. And before we get into all of
it, just a quick plug. Let's plug away.

Yeah, and we've been getting a lot of comments on Spotify
(01:44):
lately and that's been really fun.
Spotify has really been pushing having more of like a social
media presence in a way of like leaving comments and having more
interaction, like more interactive opportunities and
stuff. So if you're listening on
Spotify, please leave comments, rate, review, and share the
podcast with any of your astrology loving friends.
Hell yeah. Thank you for those who have.
(02:05):
Thanks for being here. And yeah, let's, let's get into
it. Let's get into sister signs.
Yeah, so sister signs like Sierra said, are the 2 signs
that are always going to be opposite one another on the
zodiacal wheel. They're exactly 6 months apart.
For example, I'm an Aries and exactly 6 months after my
birthday is Libra season. Their modes are always going to
(02:27):
be the same. So today we've got Virgo and
Pisces, which are both mutable signs, but they're in different
and elements. The elements will always be
compatible, like air and fire and Earth and water.
And today we're talking about Virgo, which is Earth, and
Pisces, which is water. Yes.
And we also have they share the same energy as far as masculine
versus feminine, which is just meaning externalizing versus
(02:49):
internalizing the energy. And so both Virgo and Pisces are
feminine signs, meaning that they internalize that energy.
And that's the case for all Earth and water signs, whereas
all the air and fire signs are the masculine externalizing
energy. So it's really interesting to
think about these energies as sister signs.
I feel like some of them, I don't know, when we talked about
(03:11):
Gemini, Sagittarius, I feel likeI can just feel that energy of
sister signs, like really easilysomething about Taurus and
Scorpio. I get that too.
But with Virgo and Pisces, I seeit, but I also feel like they're
sisters. Like, you know, if we're
thinking of it that way, that, you know, their, their rooms
look completely different, like Monica and Phoebe.
(03:33):
Virgo Monica and Pisces, Phoebe,in case you're unaware, like
they are absolutely sisters. They operate so differently.
And that's the nature of a polarity is that they're
operating on the same spectrum. They're on the same rod, the
same pole, but they're just coming at it from such different
angles. And I would say that the
(03:53):
spectrum that Virgo and Pisces share is service.
I think Virgo is of service in very physical, tangible and
material ways, being an earth sign, and Pisces is of service
in much more energetic and emotional and spiritual ways.
It can't be seen as much as Virgo is seen doing the dishes
for somebody every single day, day in and day out.
(04:13):
Pisces is there to offer the spiritual service to others in a
in a very large way, whereas Virgo is all about very detailed
ways of being of service and being there.
Absolutely. I love that comparison of Monica
and Phoebe and friends because you see how like the
personification of sister signs, like they, they are sisters, you
(04:38):
know, like in that like in a friend's sister's way.
And they do get one another. Like that's the thing about
earth and water as compatible signs.
It means they're like speaking the same language or they can
speak the same language. And so that's why we kind of
throw out like, or a lot of people do throw out compatible
versus incompatible. But I, you know, I, one way of
(04:58):
thinking, thinking of it is theyare able to speak the same
language. But what I find interesting, you
know, and maybe a little bit different about sister signs,
the polarity is that yes, they speak the same language, but
they're literally looking at things from the opposite point
of view. So there can be a little bit
more of that tug of war, even ifwe understand what each other's
(05:19):
saying. Yeah, they understand that the
other sign has a place. You know, Virgo understands that
Pisces does have a place in the Virgos world and vice versa.
So with Pisces having a place for Virgo to take up in their
world, and there's almost this gratitude of oh good, you're
going to take care of that because that's not my strong
suit. You know, Pisces is very good at
(05:41):
feeling into energy and knows that we need tangible,
actionable steps and that's whatVirgo is going to bring.
Whereas Virgo may be very aware of the fact that it's extremely
analytical and detail oriented and very focused on the details
and can see how Pisces larger thinking and bigger broader
(06:01):
belief and faith can be really useful in that situation as
well. Yeah, they bring such, I mean,
that's the whole nature of it. It's complementary energy, you
know, like that the way in whichI love that you said the way in
which they understand each otherhas a place too, because it's
it's like that friend where you're like, thank God, you're
(06:21):
the organized one. And then the other one is like,
thank goodness you have the imagination, you know, of
dreaming up these different ideas.
That's what this Virgo Pisces axis is.
I think of. Of course the Sagittarius is
going to bring a traveling analogy here, but I'm thinking
of like if they're on a trip together, like Pisces is
bringing. Oh my gosh, it would be amazing
(06:43):
to do this thing. We could.
Yeah, The the whimsy and the just, I think the more I don't a
purpose is not quite the word I'm looking for, but like the
connectedness to what we're doing.
Like, wow, did you like realize that there's so many people over
all these times that came to thespiritual site?
Like, you know, they're the oneswho were seeking Stonehenge for
(07:05):
the spiritual nature of it. Whereas Virgo knows the history
maybe behind Stonehenge and definitely booked the tickets,
made sure that the bus is going to get there on time and has the
lodging of where to stay. But like because of Virgo,
Pisces is able to have such a smooth experience for something
that they really want to experience on that connected
(07:26):
level that Pisces has. And then?
Planning Pisces can flow. Yes, yes.
And because of Pisces being this, you know, just dreamy and
I guess bigger thinking energy, Virgo gets to see the, the
purpose a little bit behind all of the planning that they've
(07:47):
done. And it almost like it, I don't
want to say it loosens them up, but it brings a, an enjoyable
energy that they're not prioritizing because they're
prioritizing getting things donein the best most, you know, the
best possible way. They can tend to be a little
rigid because they, you know, have worked so hard, so, so
(08:10):
tirelessly to make sure that allthese details can work together,
that they forget about what's inbetween the details.
And Pisces is there to just let like let this sort of
gaseousness of Pisces, right, The sort of fogginess of Pisces
get in between the cracks and belike life is what happens
between all of the details. I think too, something else that
(08:30):
Virgo and Pisces share is like this purity and a sacredness,
but they apply it to very different energies.
Virgo is the purity of information, the purity of
knowledge and the purity of analytics.
And Pisces is the purity of spirit and the purity of
emotion. I also really like thinking of
(08:52):
the ways in which they are of service 'cause I agree with you
that being something that they really share is being of service
and how an earth sign like Virgois going to be there for the
tangible shit they are going to pay of service when it comes to,
you know. Do you have all the things you
need for these paperwork that need to get turned in?
(09:14):
Do you have bandages when you'vehurt yourself?
Is there anything I can do for you?
Do you need help with something physical, tangible?
Can I carry this for you? Do you need help figuring
something out in a earthly 3D World?
Whereas Pisces is so in service in taking care of and holding
space for people emotionally andjust being that, you know, I
(09:38):
understand that you are feeling a lot because aren't we all?
And you know, can like, do you need to share some of this?
Wow, you must be feeling this because of this.
Hey, I noticed that, you know, that was an overwhelming
situation. Like how are you doing now?
There's just such an emotional service that Pisces brings that
is so beautifully complementary to the tangible physical service
(10:02):
that Virgo brings. That's why we have that kind of,
you know, whole picture energy. When we have sister signs that
come together because they're opposite one another, they are
bringing the complementary energy to the situation,
especially when it comes to thatin service area.
It's really interesting because a lot of what we're saying here
seems quite similar to the Cancer Capricorn access of
(10:24):
taking care and like taking carein very physical ways versus
emotional ways. But I think the ways in which
it's different is that Cancer Capricorn is much more parental
and leadership, right? They're the ones in charge and
that you know that they're the ones who are in charge and
taking care. Whereas with Virgo and Pisces
and they're sort of the ensemble, right?
(10:45):
Like if you're looking at a playor at a musical, like they're
ensemble characters who are making sure that everything is
being put in the right place or that everyone is taken care of
in little ways. But it's not about, and I want
to be seen as the parent. I need to be seen as the
provider. It's not about that.
It's about making sure that the machine is well oiled.
(11:06):
I love the idea of this being behind the scenes energy in the
best way where it's like thinking of, I don't know,
thinking of like high school plays that I was involved in,
like on the art side of things. Like that was such a more Pisces
energy. Like the Virgo would be the one
that is making the schedule for,you know, when this crew is
coming in to do this thing and how are we going to be working
(11:27):
the lights and blah, blah, blah.Whereas Pisces is coming in and
they're figuring out the music, they're painting the set, you
know, they're bringing that creative element that's gonna
make the audience feel something.
Whereas Virgo's gonna make sure that everything's plugged in
correctly and that the show's going to go off without a hitch
because all the little details were taken into account.
(11:49):
Yeah. And I mean, just thinking also
of like, so how they're very different.
Like Pisces is so faith-based. It's so about trust and
surrender. Whereas Virgo has a lot more of
a tendency to want to control because it's so living on the
earthly plane, So living in a world where they can control
(12:09):
circumstances because they're soaware of all the details.
And the world is actually just made-up of fact, very black and
white, earthy, as opposed to Pisces, which is like, actually
the world is just the simulationand we can make it be whatever
we want it to be. And I think that's probably the
way in which they differ the most.
That I absolutely love bringing in the idea of burger control
(12:33):
versus Pisces surrender. That's so real.
It's like, that is what? It's so opposite.
It's just the most beautiful example of opposite signs
because you're so right, Virgo. That's what Virgo does naturally
is control the circumstances. And what Pisces does naturally
is like, I'm not even feet or not on the ground.
How can I control the circumstances when I'm floating
(12:55):
and? Circumstances aren't mine too
control exactly. And it has, it has such faith,
like, such faith in the universein in a very spiritual way.
And it's so interesting 'cause there's like keywords that are
associated with each signs. We haven't brought these up in,
in previous episodes, but the keyword that's associated with
Virgo is I analyze and the keyword that's associated with
(13:17):
Pisces is I believe. And so that goes along with
exactly what you just said of that control versus that faith
of I control my circumstances. I see what's in front of me and
I know what's in front of me because I have proof of it,
whereas Pisces is not seeking. It's not believing at all, it's
just researching, you know? Exactly.
I believe fact as opposed to Pisces believing emotion.
(13:41):
Yes, and that actually that's a good way to bring up the ruling
planets of both Virgo and Pisces, because Virgo is ruled
by Mercury, which is all about the the headspace communication,
how we process information. And then Pisces is ruled by
Neptune and Co ruled by Jupiter. And so we have this dreamy and
(14:04):
ethereal and foggy planet and Coruled by Jupiter, which is so
faith and you know, abundance and larger picture thinking and
believing and luck. And so we have this very
analytical the other, the other sign that Mercury rules is
Gemini. And we see that expressed in an
(14:24):
airy way that is a lot less tethered and doesn't have to
have the hard facts in the same way that Burgo, this earth sign,
you know, the processing of information, it's the tangible
information, the proof that's infront of me.
But they do both have, obviouslythey share mutability.
So we can see mutability in Pisces, I think a lot more
archetypically than we can with Virgo because it's also a water
(14:46):
sign. So it's, it's already very
flowy, which mutable signs tend to be.
So Pisces is extremely mutable and can often be seen as sort of
like ungraspable and like you can't hold them still in one
faith or one belief or one thingbecause they're constantly going
with the current energy, which can constantly be changing.
(15:06):
Whereas Virgo you can at least rely on the fact that they are
going to believe in the fact that they are going to follow
information being ruled by Mercury, which is all about
information fact messages that are coming from logic and the
analytical side. It's much more predictable than
the mutability in Pisces. So true, out of all the mutable
(15:28):
signs which are Virgo, Pisces and then also Sagittarius,
Gemini. If you think about it
elementally, Virgo is Earth and of the elements, Earth is the
least mutable. It is the least likely to move.
We can see that Pisces water, mutability, water is already
flowing. Earth is not flowing.
And so we have this mutable energy that Virgo does bring,
(15:51):
but they bring it in an earthy way where it's going to be
slower moving. They are.
It's not Taurus energy that's going to decide what's being
done and stick to it to the end. It's not Capricorn energy of we
need to achieve and build on something and make something
that is going to be left behind. It's this earthy energy of OK, I
(16:11):
have all these facts. I have everything that I've
controlled the circumstances. But because of my mutability, I
do understand that circumstancescan change.
And if circumstances have changed, my desire to of
perfectionism that Virgo has will shift in order to adapt to
the changing circumstances in order to get the end result.
(16:33):
That is the result that they want.
They won't stick to what they said at the beginning just
because they said it at the beginning.
They're able to adapt in order to get the most, you know, the
best result at the end. And that's the way in which we
might not notice the mutability right away in Virgo because of
that earthiness. But then we can see it if,
especially if we compare it to the other earth signs.
(16:54):
Yeah. And I love that you brought
perfectionism because I think this actually relates to both of
these signs. I think we see it in Virgo
because they, because they operate in this earthly,
tangible way, we can see them try and achieve perfectionism in
a very tangible human way. Whereas Pisces almost dissolves
itself into being perfect by just experiencing the human
(17:17):
experience. You know, it's just like, oh, I
am perfect because I am in that way.
Whereas Virgo's like, no, I am perfect because I make sure that
I'm good enough. And that brings me to another
topic that I have, which Virgo, I feel like this core sentence
in their mind as an archetype, right?
If you're a Virgo son, but you have like Leo placements and
Aquarius placement, you know, the whole chart chart matters.
(17:40):
But Virgo as an archetype is always asking itself if it's
good enough. Am I doing enough?
Am I good enough? Am I enough?
And I think it's really interesting that on the opposite
side of that Pisces core question is, am I too much?
Am I doing too much? Am I feeling too much?
I love this. Right, Like there's, there's
(18:01):
this devotion to, you know, am Idoing the right amount?
And like in that center of the spectrum is just enough.
And Virgo's always worried of like, am I doing enough?
And Pisces always worried about am I doing too much?
Like am I being overbearing versus am I, am I even doing
anything of service to anybody? That is so real, this like this
(18:23):
like feeling of there must be more that I can do because I am
in service of others. I must not be doing enough.
I have to be helpful. I have to find, you know,
something that to perfect, you know, I can always be perfecting
something. And then Pisces, which is just
it's the last sign of the Zodiac.
It's the 12th sign. It's this culmination of all
(18:45):
these energies come together that is just this living,
breathing, feeling energy that is constantly overflowing.
Pulsating source of energy. I mean, I think of Pisces as
some the sign that is just tapped into like this.
You know, when we talk about theuniverse or like source or
(19:06):
spirit, like I kind of think of this like pulsating BLOB of
energy that rules the universe. That's my God, it's BLOB like
and I and I have Pisces placement, so that's how I
relate to it. But I feel like Pisces has sort
of just taken a little bite out of that source and is flowing
(19:29):
through the universe, this very human like experience with that
BLOB source like energy in it. Whereas Virgo has the same
devotion, right? Both of these signs are, are
deeply devoted, but Virgo finds its peace and devotion through
routine and through actionable steps on a routine basis.
(19:49):
Whereas Pisces is like, I know that as long as I follow a flow
or follow the current of the energy around me, that is me
being devoted to what the universe is giving me and I
don't have to have like a set. This is the time I meditate
every day. This is the time I do yoga, this
is the time I meal prep, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
It's I'm following the flow and there's less predictability with
(20:11):
Pisces again. You know, yeah, it's like what
feels good for me to do today. And I would say the polarity
where we see how they're the opposite is I would say Virgo is
one of, if not the most reliablesign, and Pisces is the least
reliable sign. And and I'm talking in like the
(20:31):
3D World we live in where you'relike, hey, can you show up at
this place at this time? Virgo?
Yeah. Like, hey 11.
Yeah, and Virgo's like? Virgo's there at 11:15.
Making Pisces is texting you at 11:45.
What's the address? Yeah, like.
Yeah. And, and Virgo is so, so
reliable in like, but there's almost a, I mean, there's a
(20:55):
stress that comes with that. Virgo definitely has anxiety
energy that it brings because ofthat perfectionism, whereas like
not all Pisces energy, not all Virgo energy, but in general the
the Pisces energy is so I don't want to say unbothered because
that's not exactly it, but they're like, what is time?
And so, you know, I'm just they're.
(21:15):
Living in a different world. Yeah, they're living in a
different world. I would say that what these two
signs share with one another is they absolutely get overwhelmed.
I mean, like Pisces placements, especially Pisces solar Pisces,
like if you have, if you're a Pisces sun, I, this is an
overwhelmed sign more often thannot because there's such a
(21:37):
consciousness of the energy in, in an emotional way.
And we as a society haven't nurtured that and we haven't
normalized that as an experience.
And so that's why a lot of Pisces Suns tend to be really
anxious or depressed or tend to escape through vices because
they haven't been taught how to navigate and regulate their
(21:59):
sensitivity to energy. Whereas with Virgo, we better,
we almost applaud when someone is such a perfectionist, when
somebody has the perfect handwriting and makes the
perfect meals and has the cleanest house.
Like we not only have normalizedit, but we applaud that kind of
perfectionism because it fits a standard and it fits the like
(22:21):
rigidity of of, oh, this is a black and white, you are good.
Whereas Pisces is like, I want to be completely dissolved from
the good or bad spectrum and just be.
But again, I think they both canbe quite overwhelmed.
Virgo is the overthinker and Pisces can tend to be an over.
Feeler, definitely an over feeler.
I and it's, I mean, I know that you shared this as you know, you
(22:44):
have Mars in Pisces, especially on Saturn and Pisces.
But when you have this feeling of connectedness to everything
where you know, Pisces energy isvery empathic energy because it
is processing so much through the fields as a water sign
would, especially this mutable water sign that can feel it in
so many different ways. And they're living, breathing
(23:06):
this emotional world. And I can definitely, you know,
just the whole idea of things being so overwhelming because
there's pain over here or they're suffering over here
because they're so tuned in and tapped in to the feelings of
everything going on. Whereas Virgo gets this
overwhelm of there is so much tobe calculated that like I have
(23:30):
to like. There's too much information.
It's the microscope of the Zodiac, you know?
And so when you're living in that microscopic, like focusing
on the tiny details of everything, it, it can feel so
overwhelming to zoom out a little bit because then you
realize there's even more when you zoom out and even more or
even more when you zoom in, evenmore when you zoom in.
And so they can feel that overwhelm of the details.
(23:52):
And they have to know it all before they can make a chance.
Yeah, it's not like neither is asign of indecision, but I think
they can both be paralyzed in intheir decision making because in
decision we put more on Libra because of that being able to
see both sides and not wanting to ruffle feathers.
But I think both Pisces and Virgo can find themselves in
(24:15):
moments of not a not being able to make a decision because of
their own version of over analyzing or overwhelm.
Yeah, agreed. Should we go over quickly just
what some of the? Yeah, Yeah.
We have Virgo, like we said, ruled by Mercury.
Virgo's known as the Virgin in the Zodiac, and that is bringing
(24:36):
it to a place of purity and devotion.
And it's much more I can't thinkof.
You brought, you brought up a really good example of that one
time. I think it might have been just
the word innocence, but there isthis, yeah, this this pure
energy and very innocent energy in connected with being pure.
And then we also have them knownas the healer, the servant, the
(25:00):
caregiver and the martyr. That's a good word to bring up
for this axis as well. Like really, you know, there's
there's a self sacrifice elementto both Virgo and Pisces.
I think Virgo is less of a pushover than Pisces.
Like I think because Virgo will always be able to fall back on,
well, I know this piece of information is fact and so I can
(25:21):
sit in that truth. Whereas Pisces is like, well,
literally anything can be true. Like you know, it's really like
I find with my Pisces placements, I struggle to make
bold opinions or have like a bold stance because I often am
like it. It's a case by case basis.
I think that the way in which Virgo can show up in that murder
energy is when they just feel that compelled need to be of
(25:44):
service. And I'm thinking of some of the
the Virgos in my life where likethey don't have time, they're
overwhelmed already, but there'sa like they're compelled to be
like, do you need help with thatthing?
I can help you. I can be of service in that way.
And often they're so good at having taken care of their own
needs that it's like it's not somuch sacrificing themselves
(26:06):
because they've taken care of themselves really well and they
just have the extra time and space to take care of.
Others as well. Yeah.
And finishing up quick with Virgo, it's also known as the
analysts and perfectionist like we mentioned before.
And comparing that to Pisces, which is the fishes.
So we see the sign of the fishes.
There's like swimming in opposite directions.
(26:27):
And I always see that as you know, it's not Gemini duality or
Libra balance, but I see it as like this Pisces fish wanting
one thing and the other Pisces fish wanting exactly the
opposite thing because there's just like they see and are
connected with everything. It's like, oh, you know, what I
really need is just no commitment and just full
freedom. And I really want to find that
(26:48):
in a partner that I'm seeing exclusively.
And you're like, all right, we we have all of these things
existing all at one time. But anyways, that's my personal
interpretation of how I see the fishes swimming in different
directions. But we see the flow of Pisces
and we see the full circle energy of the fishes, like as a,
(27:08):
you know, as an archetype. Yeah.
And we see how they're facing themselves, you know, and like,
in a constant reflection and knowing that, you know, while
they are two fish, they are one, right?
Like there's this oneness and this unity that comes with
Pisces. I like be facing themselves
because I always think of Piscesenergy as mirror energy.
They have such a beautiful way of mirroring emotions to other
(27:31):
people and and finding that in themselves.
And I really like that energy. Yeah.
And they're also, they have thatmartyr tendency.
They're known as that the shapeshifter, the intuitive, the
Mystic, the artist, dreamer, poet.
So they really have this artistic energy to them.
(27:53):
Yeah. Creative.
Such creative energy. They it's not a choice.
Pisces lives and breathes in a creative form.
So it's not like, oh, I think I will paint today.
I think I will learn this thing. It's oh, I need to express my
emotions in the same way I need to exhale.
Yeah. It's like it's a soul that has
(28:13):
come to earth to experience art.Yeah.
That's how they're, that's how they're experiencing the world.
Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
OK. So should we get into how this
access shows up in our charts? As an example, for anybody
listening that wants to know, ifyou don't have any Pisces or
Virgo placements, that doesn't mean that you don't have any
Pisces or Virgo tendencies. So often where Virgo is in your
(28:37):
chart, like what house it rules is going to be, where you have
that everything we've just described, all of that Virgo
energy of like a little bit morerigidity, maybe being a little
controlling or being really on top of your routine in this area
of your life. And where Pisces is, is where
you feel the deepest is where you feel the most connected to
(28:57):
that BLOB universal energy. It's where you feel most
compelled artistically and creatively and where you tend to
surrender. And if you don't surrender
there, you're meant to surrenderthere.
So for me and I have Virgo on mysecond house and your girl loves
QuickBooks and the spreadsheet like.
My finances, thank God. Are organizing, yeah, like I am
(29:23):
extremely organized with my finances and I would say that
like not in a Taurus 2nd house or a Capricorn second house way.
I am quite mutable when it comesto the way I make my income.
I have a lot of variety in the ways I make my income.
I am very open to, you know, my realtor would she hates this
(29:44):
about me, but like I am so open to owning very many different
kinds of homes, which your second house rules what you own
and your property ownership literally.
And so Virgo being on that, I'm like, I know there are certain
details that I need, but I also I'm really open to a lot of
variety and a lot of different kind of home styles.
(30:05):
But really I see Virgo on my second as my finances being
really organized and routine with, with my money and even
just thinking about the ways in which I make my income, which is
a second house delineation is through like Virgo ways of
healing, of information, of analyzing, of, of communicating
(30:28):
with others. I just think about like what I
do in my readings with other people.
It is quite Virgo energy. It's very reliable in that
earthy way, but it's also givinga lot of information and there's
a purity to the information thatI share and.
Being of service like it's such like you're they're literally
services that you offer. Yeah, and I do have Chiron in
Virgo and that being in my second house, there's a
(30:51):
constant, you know, that question of am I good enough?
That is a very sensitive question for me being Chiron,
which is the wounded healer. We have an episode out on Chiron
if you're curious. It's quite old, but you know,
you might enjoy it, but where that is very sensitive for me
whenever I do come to that pointof like, am I doing enough and
it coming back to my sense of self worth and also do I feel
(31:15):
secure enough it being in my second house?
It's like what I own and then inthe other side of that, it's
where is it that you feel the deepest?
Well, it's in my 8th house. So deep feelings like, you know,
like absolutely, I am an incredibly deep feel or like I
feel things so deep to my core. And you know, it's different
(31:38):
than Pisces being on the 12th house, which is surrendering to
just like spirituality. This is surrendering to my to my
dramas, to my healing, to my psychological makeup.
You know, it's like surrenderingso deeply to whatever it is my
healing is directing me towards and like constantly being guided
(32:00):
and allowing myself to flow through through through very
deep emotional, painful experiences.
As the 8th house tends to show. And like Sarah said, I do have
Mars and Saturn in Pisces, so I take action from this place.
It's important for me to completely surrender to 8th
house themes because if I don't,then I would be blocked in my
(32:20):
being able to take action. And then with Saturn being
there, there's certainly challenges when it comes to, you
know, especially in the past, I definitely been Privy to like a
pity party here and there. I've been like, oh, well, just
kind of martyrdom or, or victimhood, like self-inflicted
victimhood of well, I guess likeI'm just depressed and I'm going
(32:41):
to sit in it and wallow. And that's what my life is.
And Saturn has taught me to set a boundary with myself and be
like, this isn't what's good foryou.
You can utilize Pisces 8th HouseEnergy to be empowering and you
know, be powerful through all that feeling.
But you do have to set sort of aboundary and be rigid or I have
(33:02):
to be rigid with myself when I do feel sort of these doom and
gloom feelings come up because because they can be, they can go
too far, they can be too much, like I said earlier.
That is, I love the examples that you're coming at this with
placements in both Pisces and Virgo, and I'm coming at it with
no placements in Pisces and Virgo and how they obviously
(33:26):
like we both have Pisces in Virgo in our chart.
But like before I move on to mine, I really like that idea
of, you know, where I have to surrender to certain things
versus where I have to control certain things in my life.
And just, you know, you have that concentrated energy of
Chiron and Virgo, of Saturn and Mars and Pisces.
And so they're going to be more concentrated energy.
(33:47):
And I was thinking about it in my chart and let me just say I
am grateful for my Mars and Gemini and the 6th house because
I think that's the only thing keeping me from being a
podcaster in this situation because I'm thinking of all the
communication in my chart that'swrapped up with 12th house or
Pisces energy. And man, I could just flow away
with it. We know that you're the one
that's bringing a succinct phrases.
(34:07):
And I'm like, well, it feels right in this moment to just
talk about. Here's a tangent, but I have
Pisces on the 3rd house in my chart.
And then I have Virgo on the 9thhouse in my chart.
And this is in Placidus. And so in whole sign, I've got
Pisces on the 4th house and Virgo in the 10th house.
(34:28):
And I will never forget the first time you and I discussed
when you were like shifting fromPlacidus to whole sign, how
we're like, wait, so in whole sign, I have Virgo on the 10th
house and we both kind of pausedand looked at each other and
we're like, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, Placidus fits much better.
Yeah. But like basically for for me
(34:52):
having Pisces in the 3rd house, I feel like it's kind of the
idea of everybody's my every notfamily in like the deep, you
know, inner moon world of family, but everybody's like a
sibling. How there's just a
connectedness. I really feel like my community
of people, I just feel a connectedness with them in that
(35:14):
third house community, neighborslike just building those, you
know, it's not the same type of connections as a deep best
friend, but it's the type of connections of the people around
you that you can find commonalities with on a surface
level. And I feel very neighborly.
Exactly. There's a neighborly element to
(35:34):
my Pisces energy, which I love. And also, you know, with that,
with that third House Energy, which is very, you know,
neighbors, siblings, community communication and early
childhood education too, which is actually really interesting,
really interesting to think about because I really struggled
in early childhood education. Like that was something that was
(35:58):
AI mean. I never like struggled to the
point of, you know, failing completely or having to repeat a
grade, but I had a lot of, I could just totally see fog
throughout my early childhood years.
Like definitely all of my friends were always in the
higher level classes and I was never in the higher level
(36:20):
classes. I was definitely living more in
a fog in my early childhood education.
Whereas I'm, you know, when we think about higher education,
which is that 9th house that I have with Virgo.
I mean, I have a bachelors of science, I have a masters of
teaching, I have a masters of global development piece like
higher education, the Virgo energy, like I'm on on it.
But the early childhood was definitely, it was kind of free
(36:43):
flow and like, yeah, man, let's surrender and hope for the best
for all of this stuff. Like it was, you know, I
definitely, I was always a good student, but it was never a
rigorous energy because I, I attended and I was present, but
I was also, I think really intuiting so much of my early
childhood years. But I really do see that third
(37:06):
house Pisces energy when it comes to my communication and my
community. I mean, just the fact that yes,
absolutely the, the being able to be that sponge and mirror for
my neighborly community and justthe communication when it comes
to magical and mystical themes. Like, I mean, it just all fits
(37:29):
with all of the, you know, the tarot and the astrology, the
magical mystical podcast, you know, all of that really fits
with those communication community, 3rd house themes.
And then when I look to my 9th house, which is where I have
Virgo in my chart, like I said, higher education was where I
really got my studious butt in gear.
I really felt the shift from high school to college where it
(37:51):
was kind of like I always just did OK by kind of just being
there and then I had to really get my my butt in gear and like
I said, I was a good student, but it was never necessary for
me to bust my ass with things. And then college hit and it was
like, OK, get your ducks in a row, make a study schedule.
What do you have to do? Yes, there's so much purpose and
(38:13):
and I also like in the devotion energy that Virgo brings went
and to 9th house very fiery, passionate themes, but in a in a
higher education and philosophical way.
When I find a subject area that I'm passionate about, you bet
your butt that I have all the materials I need to study for.
I'm going to all the classes like I'm not missing a class if
(38:35):
I don't have to. Like that to me is just
absolutely not happening becauseI have it all prepped out ahead
of time. Whereas that is such Virgo
energy. And and also just in my, I don't
know, in my spiritual practices,I really enjoy when there's some
sort of routine to them. I really appreciate the, you
(38:56):
know, the ritual of something. That's kind of where I see your
9th house the most, Virgo 9th house the most is like where
you're constantly seeking meaning from something larger
than yourself is through like a very solid routine.
You know, you're pulling cards often you are analyzing charts
often for yourself. You know, like this.
(39:16):
It is absolutely like this ritual that you have that has
that safety. To it, I think I don't see the
whole sign as much in my chart of 4th house Pisces and 10th
house Virgo. I, I think that, you know, as
we've discussed in past episodesand once again, feel free to
listen to our whole sign versus placidus episode to understand
(39:37):
this a little bit better. But I see my Placidus chart as
being much more of my internal astrology and the whole sign
being much more of my external world.
And so almost like growing into that whole sign chart.
And I think that I can see the Pisces themes of my 4th house,
just having grown up in a very mystical, magical household and,
(39:58):
you know, having that mom energythat is very connected
spiritually. And I all, I grew up being very
spiritually connected and not just being the world that I was
constantly in. And then when it comes to the
10th house, how the world sees me and my, you know, more career
energy, I think because I have such a free flowy career, it
(40:19):
doesn't quite fit with that Virgo energy.
But as far as how I show up to the world, I do, really.
Bring, or at least I try to bring reliability, structure and
and and and analyzing, you know,my world around me.
Yeah, quite mercurial. Yeah.
(40:40):
And I think also the mutability that you do bring in like what
the how the public sees you because it with whole sign your
mid heaven isn't in your 10th house.
You know, you do have this less traditional mid heaven in your
11th house. So I do see this 10th house
Virgo for you in the way that people view you as someone who
is a lot more prepared and put together than we know.
(41:03):
Totally. I'll definitely give the
illusion of being a prepared, organized person.
But I also think the way in which you like tackle your
public persona or your you know, your social standing in this
public way is your teammate likeyou work in a team just thinking
(41:24):
of like retreats that you plan with another person.
This podcast that you have with you collaborate a lot in your
workplace, even with magical book club.
You are the leader in that. That is very much your mid
heaven placement. I think all your other projects
where you put things out into a public sphere is a lot more
collaborative and teammate LED, whereas that mid Heaven is
(41:46):
magical book club where you. Are I love that, Yes,
collaboration in a work field way that is I'm much more
comfortable and and I feel like that's the strength is to come
in collaborating and yeah, I cando that thing.
I might not be the one who's leading the idea, but I can
absolutely get to work on that idea.
So there you have it. There's the Virgo Pisces access.
(42:09):
This might be the longest. I love it and and and just like
this, this conversation, especially at the end here, just
goes to show that whether or notyou have actual planets and
placements in any of the sister sign, you know, like the axes
that we talked about, it shows up in your chart and so you can
dive into that and and the series is finished now.
(42:30):
I know this was a good one. This was one that I wanted to do
because it felt almost like it was lacking from the back to
basic series. Like we talked about elements
and modes, but we didn't talk about polarities, which is sort
of the third, I don't know, facet of, you know, the basics
of these 12 Zodiac signs. So yeah, getting to talk about
this feels like a completion of the back-to-back.
I love that, yeah. Let us know how you've liked
(42:52):
this series, what other series you might feel like, you know,
could be good to go over in a back to basics way.
We love the back to basics like that's it's so fun to really get
back into the, you know, the foundation of astrology.
Let's find a place to start Yeah, because I often whenever I
meet someone at a market who's interested in the podcast and
say like, if you want to learn about astrology, start with the
(43:13):
back to basic series. And I also just little pat on
the back for us, like, and I mean, all astrology, you know,
all forms of using astrology areso valuable and stuff.
But I spoke to someone to this weekend who said something about
like, yeah, like, I love hearingwhat all the podcasts have to
say about the energy right now. And I was like, oh, we're not a
forecast podcast. We're we're an educational, like
(43:36):
learning how to use astrology for yourself podcast.
And she was like, I don't have any of those.
Like. That is useful to me, thank you.
So like we are, you know, to be providing education as opposed
which, you know, if you want to forecast, go check out our
patreonpatreon.com/the Stars. Maybe do it because we do
release exclusive forecast episodes at the beginning of
(43:57):
every month, but I really appreciate our audience here
constantly wanting to learn moreabout themselves and about
astrology. Yeah, this is like it it show
it, you know, highlights my Sagittarius placements, your 9th
house placements of we're not just here for I mean, yeah, we
like that kind of what's going on right now nature because we
(44:18):
can all find that useful. But this is more long term, like
teaching so that the tools are being passed on so so that you
know, other people horse to watch can learn this and and
find the same joy that we do andwatching a TV show and being
like they are such a Taurus. Oh my God.
You know, like just. Yes, yes.
We just want you to analyze movies with us.
(44:39):
Can we just need you to get up to speed so that you can analyze
as deeply as we do? Oh my God, we need like a
screening a star has made me do at gathering of like we all just
watch like some great like, yeah, early 2000s ROM com.
Oh my God. Yes.
OK, check us out on Patreon. We'll get into that.
(45:00):
Thank you guys so much for listening.
Sierra, why did we talk about Virgo and Pisces today?
Cuz the stars made us do it.
