The Stars made me do it. Welcome back to the Stars made
me do it. Happy Virgo season everybody.
Hey, let's get organized. Are you like that?
Now that there's video, they're just gonna like, come in on you
being like, completely. Hey folks, let's get our shit

(00:32):
together. We really did just have an hour
long pre podcast podcast which like.
Oh, more than an hour. Yeah, yeah, which if you like
hearing us talk, we're glad 'cause there's a podcast, but
also like check us out on Patreon because we chat even
more ridiculously over there. But it is Virgo season, happy

(00:56):
Virgo season, and we are talkingabout Jupiter and Virgo today.
And before we do that, what are your thoughts on Virgo season?
I, this year I'm excited about Virgo season.
I love that we have like every year now.
How do you feel about Virgo season last year as opposed to
this year kind of thing? Yeah, but I think I, I have the
same stance as I did last year. I, I, I like Virgo season.

(01:16):
It really works well with all myearth placements, which I
imagine is same for you as well. It's in my second house, so I
feel like I'm grounded. I feel secure.
I've got this sense of, you know, solidity, like all my
resources are taken care of and I'm just acting from a place of,
of value. But also, you know, Virgo season
is a time when we get really bogged down in details, which is

(01:37):
going to be a theme that I'm sure we're going to discuss
today with Jupiter going throughVirgo.
But what about you? What are you looking forward to
for Virgo season this year? I love that like ever since
childhood, I just have the internal clock of it's a new
school year that's never gone away.
And like even my mom, I remembertalking to her about that.
She's like still for me, she's like, I'm almost 70.
Like still for me, it's like, this is the new year.

(01:59):
You know, the new school year islike Virgo times.
And so I, I always loved back toschool season.
Like I love that it takes place during Virgo season too, where
it's like I get to go pick out new pencils and new pens and new
notebooks and it's like such this fresh, clean possibility,
you know, I love that energy. And I feel like Virgo season in

(02:20):
like my adult year life also just has a lot of opportunities
for me. I've had some like I feel like a
lot of either travel opportunities or work
opportunities come up for me during that time.
And I am someone who did go backto school time and time again.
So I did have those like higher learning opportunities, which
makes sense for like a 9th houseVirgo that I have going on.

(02:41):
But in general, I, yeah, I mirror what you said as far as
like my earth placements do likeVirgo.
And I would say with age, I appreciate more and more the
organizational energy that inspires me, you know, during
Virgo season, because that is like, it's almost like the fall
version of spring cleaning, you know, that I, I really like

(03:04):
that. And we'll have just, so when
this episode comes out, we'll have just kind of completed this
Mars in Virgo time. So we'll have been kind of
getting used to taking action from a place that's super, at
least if you're listening in 2025, will have been taking
action from a place of seeking purity and organization, making
sure everything is clean, like clean lines aesthetically and

(03:25):
just clean in your mind, closingall the tabs in your brain and
on your computer. And now going into Virgo season,
we're shining the light on all those actions that we took, or
we're just generally continuing to stay motivated by that sense
of order. Yeah, and that makes so much
sense with the last time that Jupiter was in Virgo.
I'll save it for when we discussed that, but I can

(03:46):
totally see all of those things that you just said really being
a theme for that time in life. But before we totally get into
it, if you don't already, pleasefollow us over on our socials,
on Instagram, on TikTok, at the Stars Made Me podcast.
You can also follow us on Patreon, be part of our Patreon
at patreon.com/stars Made me do it.
We've got episodes out there a week early.

(04:07):
We have a month ahead forecast of what transits are coming up
and that's like real time astrology and you get a little
more of an unhinged version of us, which is always a good time.
And then you could follow me, mespot.
This is, well, OK. About good It's a time.
It's a time, I don't know that the content is always, like good

(04:29):
in spirit, but we have a good time no matter what we're
sharing. Yeah, yeah.
And you can follow me over at harveymountain.alchemyforhersmallbusinessofcandlemagicandothermagicalthingsandthenyoucanfollowme@magical.bookcluborsierraautumn.com

(04:49):
for my book club, my magical offerings as well.
And thanks for being here. We are now episode the second, I
guess, Jupiter episode into our sixth season.
So if you have Jupiter in Leo, that episode is already out and
all other Jupiter placements. This is this is the time.

(05:11):
I mean, depends on when you're listening to it, but we're
getting into it and it's been really cool to listen to or to
discuss Jupiter. And if you're just interested in
Jupiter in general, we have a episode all on Jupiter just on
its own. So feel free to listen to that
as well. Yeah, so I wanted to know,
'cause obviously we're gonna talk about what Jupiter and
Virgo is like when it's in your Natal chart, but also because

(05:33):
it's a social planet, OK, not one of the five very personal
planets. It's important to look at what
current transiting Jupiter is doing as well.
And so I wanted to touch base onwhen Jupiter was last in Virgo,
so transiting through the sign of Virgo, and that was August
2015 to September 2016. So really noticing especially

(05:54):
the themes that we're gonna talkabout later on about what
Jupiter in Virgo means, but noticing what part of your chart
Virgo rules and Jupiter was going through that part of your
chart in August 2015 to September of 2016, and it's next
going to be in Virgo beginning July 2027.
But I'm curious, do you think you mentioned that you could

(06:14):
kind of see some Jupiter and Virgo themes for that time
period? Yeah, that was like my last
year. I believe that was my last year
teaching. That was around the time where I
moved to France. And it was so like I was saying,
I feel like I have a lot of opportunities that come my way
in a travel area or in a work area because I have that in

(06:37):
Placidus. I have Virgo in my 9th house and
in Holstein, I have it in my 10th house.
And so, you know, I, that was when I was kind of like getting
my life organized in a way of amI moving across the world?
And, and that just as such 9th house themes.
And also I'm having a new job and it's definitely going to be
pushing my expansion of like foreign language and I all of

(07:02):
those topics. And so that being such a
prevalent part of my August 2015to September 2016, it was like,
it was also when I yeah, I it was just, it was big changes in
my life, but it was one of thosemoments where I can see the
Virgo of it, where it was a lot of little things that led to the

(07:22):
big changes. This was also around the time
where I learned that learned I like kind of re remembered that
I'm lactose intolerant. And it was like a little tiny
thing where I, I was like, oh, if I just change this one thing
in my like diet, in my, you know, food intake, what are the
things that are going to change from there?
And it had such huge effects in my life and in my lifestyle.

(07:46):
And just like in the way I approached everything health
because that was like the first time in my life I'd ever
successfully lost weight. I'd tried like, you know, a
million, million, million things.
And as soon as I removed dairy, really kind of realizing I'm
lactose intolerant, it was like,oh, there's a huge blockage that
kind of got unclogged here, which then opened up so many

(08:08):
more health related successes for me.
Which Virgo is such a ruler of health, but especially gut
health. So dealing with lactose is very
much like a Virgo theme and we look a lot at Virgo as like
being mental and being really, you know, mercurial because it
is ruled by Mercury, but it's anearthy plant sign as well,
right? It's not all mental.

(08:29):
It's not an air sign like Gemini.
So it's very much in the body aswell.
It's very practical, it's very grounded, and so we can see how
the physical and the mental cometogether with Virgo.
Yeah, yeah, it's, it's that sign, like it's an earth sign
like Amy mentioned, it's immutable sign, it's the last
sign of summer. So it has that go with the flow,
but it's always the least go with the flow of the mutables

(08:51):
because of that earthy energy. But that's what's so beautiful
about it because there it has that earthy grounded like
dedication. But it does have the ability to
show us in very small ways by taking doing small steps this
way, small steps that way, how we can get to that whatever our
destination is. And everything earthy, I feel
like deals with all the three earth signs really deal with

(09:15):
physical health in different ways.
And Virgo rules the gut, so yeah, it checks out.
Yeah, and your routine, your physical routine.
Exactly. When Jupiter was in Virgo at
this time from 2015 to 2016, I can definitely see how it was
highlighting my income, how it was highlighting my literal
resources and the money that I made.

(09:35):
Because this was just after I had graduated from uni and I
was, I had this really cool au pair opportunity that I was
really excited about that I was going to move to Italy for.
And then I got scammed because Ithought I was going to get a
better job. And then whatever, it turned out
to be a scam. So then I had to move to IRA and
then eventually, you know, my life as I was 2021 kind of

(09:56):
imploded and I ended up moving to New York and beginning my
role in the workforce. Like I didn't really work very
much throughout uni. I had odd jobs here and there,
like nothing that was super stable and that I was like, oh,
I have an income. But once I moved to New York
State, I was just grinding and Iwas working really hard and I
could really see how, you know, abundant I was in my finances if

(10:21):
I US put in the effort every single day in little ways and in
large ways. So I could definitely see how
Jupiter was helping out my income then.
But I can also see how Jupiter being in its detriment in Virgo
kind of hurt me in some ways with my income because of that
scam, right? Like I could have had a
different opportunity living in Italy instead of, you know,

(10:41):
getting scammed and then having to move to Ireland instead,
which bore me. Like I, it was great anyway, you
know, but I'll be curious to seenow as a business owner, what
that Jupiter going through Virgoin just two short years is going
to do for me in my income and inmy, in my resources.

(11:01):
Yeah. The next time that we're going
to have Jupiter and Virgos goingto be in 2027, in summertime
like July 2027. And just it's, you have to look
at your chart to confirm becauselike the, you know, Jupiter does
retrograde. But in general those born in, I
mean, I'm thinking of the demographic of our listeners,

(11:21):
those born in 1980 and those born in 1992, that's around the
time that Jupiter was in Virgo. So check your chart, that could
be you. Yeah, yeah.
So let's do a little reminder ofwhat Jupiter represents in your
chart. Like I mentioned earlier,
Jupiter is the first of the social planets, which is
different from the personal planets.
So Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus andMars are the five personal

(11:43):
planets. Jupiter and Saturn are the 2
social planets, and Jupiter is the one that is closest to the
Sun. So it is the first social
planet. It's more involved in the story
of your life and how your life plays out rather than what your
personality traits are. So while while we will look at
Jupiter as where you're optimismand sense of faith comes from,

(12:03):
which can be a core part of yourpersonality, it more shows the
area in your life that brings fortune to you, or how fortune
and growth and expansion and knowledge show up in your life
depending on your Jupiter placement.
So it's where we learn the most. It's where we access our own

(12:25):
inner expansion and ascension. It's our connection to faith,
what we believe in as a planet of religion, but also of
spirituality and just larger picture thinking, right?
It's the philosopher of the planet.
So it's the broader perspective and outlook in our worlds that
we hold as as truth. Yeah, it's this.

(12:47):
With this optimism and faith andwith this philosophy and higher
understanding, it's, you know, it's not mercurial in a, OK,
we're trying to understand the details of something.
We're trying to understand the information of something.
This is when you put meaning behind it.
And that's why like, of course, it affects us as, you know, who

(13:09):
we are. It affects us in our charts in
that way. But it's not just the everyday
things that come up in conversation.
But when it comes to that, you know, what do you believe in and
what is that, you know, bigger picture that you're seeking or
the bigger picture that's happened in your life?
And I really, I mean, we know I'm so Sagittarius and Jupiter
influenced. I Jupiter is just this, it, it

(13:31):
deals with luck, it deals with abundance, It deals with that
faith, because when you think about luck and abundance in
general, there's, it's not something that you can logically
prove or find that little, you know, that fact about it.
There has to be a belief behind it and a kind of trust in it.
And so that's what we're talkingabout with these Jupiter themes

(13:53):
and where we also like that's where a lot of moral energy
comes from as well, because whatyou believe in dictates your
morals. And so that's where but we also
this is the more is more planet. So we can also overextend
ourselves when it comes to our, you know, Jupiter energy because
just like it's a risk taker, sometimes if we take a risk too

(14:16):
many times, we, you know, we lose that gamble.
So that's it can over, we can overextend as well.
Yeah. And I think with, you know, the
opposite side of it's where we find such optimism and almost
blind faith in a way. It's also where we can live in a
bit of denial to the reality of a situation because we want it
to be this really big, exciting prospect.

(14:40):
Yeah, yeah, there's just, there is.
It's like positivity. And sometimes it can err on
toxic positivity, and sometimes it can be, you know, when you
take a risk, you can win big, but when you take a risk, you
could lose big, too. Yeah, exactly.
So then with Jupiter and Virgo, I mean, we're going to discuss a

(15:01):
little bit of what our personal thoughts are.
It's in detriment because Jupiter rules, is a ruler of
Pisces. And so the opposite sign of that
is going to be Virgo, which means that instead of being in a
really comfortable, you know, sign that vibes really strongly
with the natural energy of Jupiter, it's just rubbing it

(15:21):
very differently because Jupiteroperates in this one way and
Virgo operates in a completely different way.
So, and I don't think, you know,it's different from being in its
fall, which is where it like actively works badly, quote UN
quote. This feels more like it's
pushing Jupiter out of its comfort zone.
And when we think of Jupiter, it's expansive, it's positive,
it's excited, it's possibility, it's leaving everything out in

(15:45):
the open and just open to anyoneto come out and grab an
opportunity. Whereas Virgo is much more
diligent and doesn't leave anything to chance.
So when we have Jupiter in Virgo, it's finding God in the
details. That's what it that's what
something I read, which I reallyliked, which is like God is in
the details. This divinity, this purity is in

(16:07):
information, not in just throwing things out there and
knowing that something will land.
It's no something lands because I did the work.
I put in the effort to make sureit landed.
Yes, and like we were talking about like just that, you know,
Virgo energy of it being an earth sign connected to health,
connected to routine that is like we and so grounded, we see

(16:30):
how that can contrast with Jupiter's natural energies.
And that's why, you know, it is indeterrent because we have
this, like you said, expansive, just exploratory energy where we
have we're able to have blind faith in something.
And then Virgo is really asking us to pay attention to

(16:52):
something. It's the I see this energy as
microscope versus telescope and they both have their place and
they both can show us something beautiful and unseen by the
naked eye. But if you know, but they are
contrasting with one another. And so we have to make sure that
we're looking at outer space with a telescope and we're
looking at a cell with a microscope and not trying to do

(17:14):
the other way around because that could be frustrating.
Yeah. And I think of like Jupiter in
Virgo as this Julian Julia quote, where she's like, I know
that if I've had a really bad day, if I put together egg
yolks, flour, butter, it's goingto get thick.
And that's such a comfort to me.And it's like for Virgo, they or
Jupiter in Virgo, they find meaning in the fact that things

(17:37):
will always be consistent, that things that make sense will will
always provide. Whereas, you know, a Jupiter and
Sagittarius is like, I don't have to count on anything
because everything's going to work out.
Jupiter and Virgo needs to know that information is set up for
them to make sense so that they will be abundant.

(17:57):
It's a lot more, you know, they find a divine expression of
themselves through facts, through information, rather than
through luck. Yes, there's there's this like,
you know, not counterintuitive, but there's this kind of
opposing energy that comes in where the whole idea of Jupiter
is I can just be lucky and then Virgo is So if I do this, this,

(18:21):
this and this, the results will be what I want them to be.
And so it's a. Formula.
It is a formula. And so it's a matter of finding
the lucky formula for you because it can that can happen,
you know, with with Jupiter and Virgo, like, OK, it's always
tweaking something. I feel like this is an energy
that's, you know, minorly tweaking what it is like.

(18:43):
OK, well, I learned this new information when it comes to my
philosophies and everything. Like, does that fit in with the
rest of it? Maybe if I tweak this little
thing? OK, well, I'm still finding that
I feel good about it, that everything seems to be working
out because Virgo is that mutable energy.
It can, you know, go with the flow, but it's like finding luck
in that formula. Yeah.
And I think that Jupiter and Virgo placements could be a

(19:04):
little bit closed off to their own luck.
Like they could be a little bit resistant to their own power.
And I also think that with Jupiter, which is literally just
a planet of social life and like, you know, friends and
friendships and connections to so many different kinds of
people, and Virgo, which is one of the hermits of the Zodiac.

(19:24):
This is someone who achieves or,or feels more abundant when
they're alone, when they're doing something with by
themselves and like having that that power run through them.
I don't know, just like alone, rather than being so focused on
how their connections are going to be bringing them, bringing
them some sort of luck or fortune.

(19:46):
Yes, because even though this isn't a personal planet, there's
something personal about Jupiterbecause it deals with
philosophies and morals and faith and and that is such a
personal journey. Like those topics like are so
subjective that like you, you know, it's very my beliefs based
on my experience, it's based on what I've read, based on what
I've, you know, lived and all ofthis.
And and Virgo is such a devoted sign where they are giving to

(20:10):
others and are trying to, you know, give themselves to others.
Not, you know, that's that's a generalized statement for Virgo
energy. But the way in which you find
meaning involving how you can beof service, there's.
There's, you know, that can be away in which you find meaning,

(20:32):
but that definitely is a delicate dance to figure out how
can I not lose myself, but also how can I, you know, give myself
to others and find abundance in that and find meaning in that.
It's different from a Venus in Virgo, which is my desire to be
of service in my relationships is on the surface being a
personal planet. Jupiter in Virgo is a lot more.

(20:54):
This is a part of my makeup. Like my DNA shows that this is
what I believe in. And so it doesn't feel like it's
as, you know, personal because it's not as on the surface as a
personal planet being in Virgo would be.
And, you know, Venus is a lot more about like, actual
relationships, whereas Jupiter is about like the way in which

(21:15):
our relationships are affected by our personal beliefs and
personal truths. And with a Jupiter and Virgo,
there's a really strong personalbelief that they are meant to be
of service and that everyone should be of service to one
another. So yeah, I could definitely see
it's like they find meaning through getting to be of

(21:35):
service. Yes, that's probably the way.
And I mean, this influences yourbeliefs.
And so when a Jupiter and Virgo puts themselves in a position of
being of service, that's probably such a huge influence
of, you know, I found meaning inlife.
Like I'm volunteering, you know,at like a retirement home and

(21:57):
getting like wisdom from these people that I'm like,
interacting with and being of service to.
Like, that's probably a huge influence for someone like Venus
and Virgo, like the way in whichthey are being in service to
others or the environment in which they feel they are in
service to others being such a huge foundation to that life

(22:17):
belief and morality and faith and just yeah, philosophy.
And even though Jupiter is in its detriment in Virgo, I feel
like this is kind of a cool placement when we're looking at
how you learn most because it feels like these people are able
to find joy in what are seemingly mundane or boring
topics. You know, like they're the ones

(22:39):
who are going to remember reallyrandom facts or, you know, I
think they'd be really interested in like, history or,
you know, good at trivia becausethey have the mind, this
Jupiter, which is really broad, expansive mind in these details.
So they are able to connect these details to something much
larger than what they are. You know what they might seem to

(23:01):
be. This feels like the astronomy
over the astrology where like I'm seeking something bigger,
larger than me, which is, you know, outer space and like
universes and everything. But it's the science behind it.
I mean, we've gone through we'vegone down the track whole lot
how they were connected and became split.

(23:22):
But you know, yeah, in in moderndays, how they are two separate
topics. I can so see a Jupiter and Virgo
like, because, you know, the whole idea of of laying outside
staring at the stars type of energy is when you so are like,
there's something bigger than mehere, which is so Jupiter
energy. But I'm gonna like go look at
the facts of the stars and the voyages and the, you know, the

(23:46):
information that's come in more so than the, you know, because
that that's a lot more tangible,Mercurial and Virgo.
Yeah. And I think that they access
their luck, They access their abundance and their fortune when
they have a solid routine. This is a placement that I think
is unexpectedly one of the most comfort seeking placements where

(24:09):
it's needing to know what's coming next in order to feel as
though it can prosper. And so like this sense of
routine, either physical, you know, maybe it's health, maybe
it's finances, maybe it's just like your day-to-day operations,
like needing to know what's coming next.
Because there is an element of control with Virgo, and an

(24:30):
element of perfectionism as well, like needing to have
everything in its place in orderto even be open to your own
luck. That is so true, and that's why
I can see how this can be a challenging energy because luck
as we see it traditionally doesn't have a formula and like,

(24:52):
that's the nature of luck. It's by nature it's random.
Right, Yeah, exactly. Like when you you roll the dice
like Jupiter energy is rolling the dice and so trying to
calculate exactly how to have your hand and at what like
velocity to throw the dice like, you know, in order to get a
certain like there's so many kind.
Of lose the magic of that hope, yes, and that optimism in faith.

(25:14):
Exactly. But then, you know, it's
Jupiter. I feel like it's one of the
benefits. Like there's always going to be
like this to me is one of the planets that even if it is in
follower detriment, luck is luck.
Abundance is abundance. Like you know, this is one of
those planets that we we find the way in which the Virgo
qualities come out for how this person can find their luck.

(25:38):
It's it is really all about mindset, because a positive
mindset attracts luck, right? Exactly.
If you see you have a Jupiter and Virgo and you're like, well,
I guess I'll just never have anyluck.
I guess I'll never get to, you know, be big in whatever ways
you want to be big. Then then you're holding
yourself back as well because that's part of your core
beliefs. But I do think that Jupiter in

(25:59):
Virgo or you know, Jupiter in Capricorn where it's in its fall
is it is a little bit more of a struggle there.
I think there's just more of a journey of believing in your
power and not resisting your power.
But it doesn't mean that that means you just have less access
to your fortune. It means you have to do a little
bit more personal work to know your personal truth and to

(26:20):
operate from that place of truthin order to just open up the
channels to your own abundance. Yeah, when you're used to
operating in a Virgo way, you, you know, you're trying the
traditional Virgo toolbox, you know, tools in your toolbox to
access your luck. And Jupiter doesn't operate on a
detail oriented and, you know, perfectionist way.

(26:41):
And so it's more like, OK, well, what if all of these detail
skills like brought me like, howcan I believe in myself when
I've done XY and Z? So I can do XY and Z and feel
like I'm in a confident place where I can access that joy,
access that belief, access that faith in myself.
Yeah, yeah. This is also, I think Jupiter

(27:03):
and Virgo is a skeptic. Like when we're thinking of
their faith, their belief, theirreligious or spiritual beliefs,
Virgo was like, if I don't see it, then why would I believe in
it? You know?
So there is this element of, like, needing to prove that
something means something. Absolutely the most broad
statement. That's just like a Jupiter and

(27:23):
Virgo's the least favorite thingto ever hear.
I'm saying to myself, I'm like, oh, you didn't say anything,
just that. But like, they need proof to
believe that there's meaning. Yes, yes, this is really
interesting. I like, I have several friends
with this placement and my mom also has this placement.
And it is, Yeah. It's just fascinating to to see

(27:46):
how, of course the whole chart comes into play because, you
know, using my mom as an example, I see she really has
such faith and belief in the world without the needing for
proof. But she has a lot of other
placements going on. She's Sagittarius rising.
So this is her ruling planet in her chart and everything.

(28:07):
But, you know, I, I can see how in a Virgo way, she is always
seeking the proof through reading.
She will like, you know, get allof the books on the topic of
reincarnation, of spirituality of, you know, this, this
philosophy, that philosophy where she believes in it.
She doesn't need like, you know,it doesn't need that proof to

(28:29):
know there's something more. But she still wants the Virgo
facts and the the hard evidence of all the different options of
the things out there. 'Cause it helps support her
personal. Truth.
Exactly. Yeah, Yeah.
And then so our first reference,we have, of course, Stephen
Forrest, his take on Jupiter andVirgo.
Is there any prize more worthy of a pursuit than feeling that

(28:51):
we actually made a difference inthe world?
Your prize, in a nutshell, is tofind work and responsibilities
that truly matter. So placing all that meaning and
importance in a work setting because it's, you know, an
earthy sign. Yeah, makes sense.
That's the tangible proof. And it's also like Virgo is such
mundane everyday life, and that's so often the workplace.

(29:14):
Yeah, and I love that he touchedon making a difference in the
world because that that as a keyphrase, just sounds so Aquarian.
But Virgo's desire to be of service to others does come from
a place of wanting to make a difference.
Totally. No, that's so true.
Yeah, Next up, never underestimate what you're
capable of achieving in terms ofprestige in your field.

(29:35):
I love the idea of don't underestimate because Jupiter
cannot be contained and Virgo likes to contain and so it's
like don't underestimate yourself.
Like use your hard proof and facts of your capabilities to
support the fact that you can bemore.
Yeah, and he has in every Jupiter through the signs like a

(29:55):
never underestimate because it is so Jupiterian of like, I'm
confident. I know I got this, you know, so
we're not going to underestimateourselves in this way.
Next up, what to beware of? Beware of inflation regarding
other people's ever expanding definitions of your alleged
duties and responsibilities. You are here to help people, but
you are not a public utility. We're talking about

(30:17):
self-expression through service, not having your life defined by
other people's whining. I this is like, this is such a
beautiful burn. Like I love this like, but I
also love you're not a public utility.
It's like, 'cause Jupiter is where we are expansive and
abundant, and if other people see that in a placement, you

(30:37):
know, a Jupiter and Virgo placement, and they're like, oh
heck yeah, I'm gonna latch myself onto that.
Service to me, yeah. Yeah, There's an element of
maybe getting taken for granted by others because you want to be
of service. So you have to be more careful
about who you're being of service to and how much of
yourself you're willing to give away.
Yeah, and then not having your life defined by other people's

(30:58):
whining, like, you know, yeah, expression through service, but
not in a. This is a free for all.
Like there's there's an element of worthiness, like knowing that
your service holds value and weight.
Yeah. And then lastly from Stephen
Forrest, your gift from the gods, the ability to master

(31:20):
complex skills, the ability to harness your intelligence and
press it towards the far limits of its potential development.
So using information to really propel growth.
I love that. Yeah, it's it's like just
reminding Virgo placements of their strengths and then

(31:41):
applying it to this like abilityto push the potential even
higher because that is such Jupiterian bigger, better, more.
Yeah. Yeah.
All right. And so from one of our rotating
sources, we have Kelly Surtees and this is what she has to say

(32:04):
on Jupiter in Virgo. So just some Jupiter
information. Jupiter is always an important
planet to watch, especially in terms of timing and triggers.
Jupiter is the largest planet and his presence creates an
emphasis. Sometimes his emphasis is
positive and other times it can highlight problems to do with
excess or going too far. So a lot of what we talked on

(32:25):
just with Jupiter in general and, and that applies to all the
Virgo themes here and that applies to whatever sign.
And then continuing on with specific to Virgo, she says that
Jupiter in Virgo already has a slightly uncomfortable fit.
Jupiter wants to focus on the big picture, while Virgo prefers
to obsess over the details or highlight the little things.

(32:47):
So Jupiter isn't as upbeat or generous as he can be in Virgo
because from this sign, Jupiter's focus is somewhat
distracted by the organizationaland analytical qualities of
Virgo. Nonetheless, it's a helpful
cycle for any plans around efficiency, health, improving
routines and schedules are generally getting organized
which is very Virgo with big travel study or writing very

(33:09):
Jupiter type plans. I love that she said that
Jupiter's focus is somewhat distracted by like Virgo energy.
I, I feel like it's the other way around, like Jupiter,
Jupiter doesn't have focus, right?
Like Jupiter is distraction. Jupiter is just like excitement
and golden retriever energy. So I feel like actually more
Virgo is distracted by Jupiter'slike, oh, what about this?

(33:32):
What about that? And Virgo's like, wait, no, hold
on. Like this piece of information
is very clear and is telling us to go in this direction can like
Jupiter needs a leash when or Virgo thinks that Jupiter needs
a leash and Jupiter feels a little bit held back by Virgo
energy. Yeah, I can feel like it's Virgo
who's holding the leash, and Jupiter's like, what's over
here. And Virgo's like, hey, we don't

(33:55):
ask big questions. We need the little details for
things. And so I can feel that
restriction that Jupiter could feel in this way, but I could
also see the annoyance that Virgo would feel being like, why
are we asking big questions? Again?
Just keep it what it is. Let's just live in our facts and
our details. Like why are we trying to find a
meaning of life? Like let's just do the number.

(34:16):
Yes, I saw somewhere written down that Jupiter and Virgo
doesn't see the forest because of the trees, so it's really
only seeing each tree rather than seeing that all the trees
come together to build a forest.Yeah, yeah.
And that's why this can be a very cool combo when they're
working well together. Yeah.

(34:37):
And then lastly we have Jupiter in Virgo is a muted form of
Jupiter, a hard working, productive, grow through
efficiency kind of Jupiter. But it is still Jupiter, the
giving planet underneath Virgo'sdiligence and attention to
detail. I Love Actually what Jupiter and
Virgo, what they have in common with one another is this
generosity. Like Virgo has such a generosity

(35:00):
of resources and of literally being of service.
And Jupiter is a planet of generosity.
So again, we can really see how someone with Jupiter and Virgo
would be so giving. And then when you put it in
whatever placement, say it's in the 3rd house, you're extremely
giving in your community. If it's in the 4th house, you're
an extremely generous parent or you're very giving when it comes

(35:20):
to open putting yourself up to your own inner world.
Or if this is in your 7th house in your relationships, you
constantly want to do little things for your partner and and
so on and so forth. So really seeing how this what
house this is in for your chart is going to give you a lot more
detail on where you apply or direct your generosity.
And if you have your Jupiter in the 6th house and you're

(35:41):
listening to this episode, whatever energy your Jupiter is
in, it's all of those areas of life where that particular
flavor of Jupiter is expressing itself.
Yeah, very fascinating. And then the last segment of
this episode, we've got a publicfigure and I was really excited
about this one. So I didn't know who this was
before. You know, I found her.

(36:03):
Her name is Simone Vay. She was born in 19 O 9 and
passed away in 1943. So just a little blurb about who
she is. And then we're going to look at
her Jupiter in Virgo and then whatever else is mitigating that
placement and kind of talk abouthow that plays out in, you know,
what we see in her bio. So Simone Vey was a French
philosopher, Christian Mystic and political activist known for

(36:25):
her radical empathy and deep commitment to justice.
She worked in factories, supported workers movements, and
joined the Spanish Civil War to understand suffering first hand.
As her life progressed, she turned increasingly towards
mysticism, experiencing a profound spiritual awakening
while remaining deeply engaged with political and ethical
issues. They died during World War 2,

(36:46):
likely from malnutrition and illness after refusing more food
than what soldiers received. Though little recognized in her
lifetime, her writings and her writings gained wide acclaim
posthumously and continued to inspire scholars across
disciplines. Albert Camus called her the only
great spirit of our times. I'm like, I'm just having a like

(37:08):
lightning strike moment right now.
Like I live right near a hospital named after her.
No way. I'm like, wait, why is this so
familiar? Like, and I I know that she has
like now I'm like, I want to do a little quick search.
I'm like, what is she had influence in the medical field.
I believe that it was like, you know, hugely with women's rights

(37:30):
to their bodies. And I just like I yeah, I live.
I've been to the hospital that is named after her, which is
just just crazy. And I love this Jupiter and
Virgo connection with her based on like everything that you just
shared And like how she, you know, like when you think about
political and ethical issues that feel so Jupiter.

(37:51):
But then this element of, you know, because we have the social
planet, we have like when we mentioned in our just Jupiter
episode, you know, how that can be very diplomatic energy
because it's dealing with, you know, large groups of different
minded people coming together. And so and then ethics coming,
you know, in with morals and everything.

(38:11):
And then this Virgo energy that is being of service to others
and how she was so like I will do what the people will do.
I just need to be of service. Like I'm not getting special
treatment. If anything take my meal type of
energy exactly that is so. Beautiful.
I read a story when she was six years old, she quit sugar

(38:32):
because she learned that soldiers didn't have access to
sugar in the war that was going on at the time when she was six
years old in 19, whatever 1915 or so, the the Jupiter and
Virgos listening know exactly what war that was.
I'm like, I have no idea. But when she was six years old,
she quit sugar because she heardthat the soldiers didn't have

(38:53):
access to it. And we can also see like
supporting workers movements, like I could see her absolutely
like being in a unionizer and wanting to help the people grow,
right? Like helping them gain the
resources they need and helping expand knowledge on these
everyday needs of the workers, of factory workers.

(39:14):
And then, you know, a lot of soldier work.
She put a lot of her focus on, you know, what was going on in
the war and like being present as I think I want to say she was
a medical worker during the war.So that's maybe what that
connection is. But we can see, I mean, her top
3 is incredible. Just looking at this bio, she's
an Aquarius sun, a Cancer moon, and then a Sag rising.

(39:37):
So with that Sag rising, Jupiteris her ruling planet.
Yes. We can see such humanitarian
activist energy with an Aquariussun and then the amount of
empathy that comes with that Cancer moon is just so spot on.
And with her, you know, it's notjust that she's a, a, a
political activist, There's justas much weight on her being a

(40:01):
philosopher and a Mystic being very much spiritual, having a
very strong spiritual tie. And I believe that being a.
Something that she was really well known for, her beliefs
being really written down and seen, as you know, her writings
were seen after she passed. We can really see Jupiter, which

(40:21):
is about philosophy, broader thinking, and then Virgo, which
is her mentality, her brain, herwriting.
I don't know. We can really see that show up.
And I love that, you know, she has Mars and Sagittarius, which
then we have like, you know, another part of her chart that
is ruled by this Jupiter and Virgo.
And and no, no, I mean the firstline that you read French

(40:44):
philosopher, Christian Mystic and political activist, like, I
mean that just those are such Jupiterian, Sagittarian themes.
And then you put Virgo on it with that like the radical
empathy, both connecting to thather Cancer moon, but then all of
the service that just is so clearly Virgo energy.

(41:09):
Yeah, typically when you see like a Jupiter, Mars square,
this is someone who's who feels so strongly within themselves,
the conflict that they see in the world, you know, And so they
have to do something about it because they can't live with
that inner restlessness or anxiety of what is not right,
what is not moral and ethical inthe world.

(41:31):
And so they're going to be driven to take action.
So we can really see that with her Mars square, Jupiter.
And then, yeah, you put them in Sagittarius, which is operating
from a place of personal truth, belief in a better world.
And then Jupiter and Virgo, which is really taking care of
the people. We can really see how they they
work with one another. And then she also has her

(41:51):
Jupiter in a trine to Uranus in Capricorn, which is in her
second house. So again, we can, we can see how
this is a very humanitarian placement.
Uranus is a planet of seeing a better future and being a
visionary and being more innovative and doing something a
little bit unexpected like completely quitting sugar when
you're 6 years old or you know, like she died of malnutrition

(42:15):
because she did not, she wanted to save her rations for the
soldiers like that. When I looked into it a little
further, that is kind of the case.
So we can see her sacrificing herself for the betterment of a
future. Yeah, and there's something
about that Uranus and Capricorn energy which I'm like, wait, I
have that, You have that. Yeah, we have that.

(42:36):
Yeah, which is cool to think about.
But with that, shrining this Jupiter, like having an
unconventional way of leaving something behind to that
Capricorn energy where it wants to build something that's going
to last. It's not like the Virgo energy
wants to be of service. And while it does care that it
lasts because it is that Earth energy, that's not its main

(42:59):
goal. Whereas Capricorn's energy is to
do something well that is going to be left behind.
And so those energies working together is really lovely.
Yeah, and then the last thing with her Jupiter, her Jupiter is
in a sextal to both her Moon andNeptune in Cancer, which this
places Neptune and the Moon in aconjunction in Cancer.

(43:21):
If you don't know what any of these things mean, please go
listen to our Major Aspects episode from the Back to Basics
series. There's a lot of information
about the relationships that planets can have with one
another, but essentially A sextal between two or more
planets is they're within 60° ofeach other or they're about 60°
apart from one another. And this is a positive
beneficial aspect. And we can see that the moon and

(43:43):
Neptune being conjunct AKA together with each other is
really where we can see her spiritual belief and like having
faith in something that she can't see, which I think really
helps that Jupiter and Virgo, which we discussed as something
like, you have to see the proof in order to have faith.
And so these two were really working well with one another

(44:04):
because sure, maybe she was a little bit of a skeptic
sometimes with that Jupiter and Virgo, and she focused that more
on the tangible things she can do do for the workers.
But her Moon in Cancer conjunct Neptune in Cancer really drove
her to believe in something thatshe couldn't see and just
believe in what she could feel was right.
There's something that's so deeply intuitive already about a

(44:26):
Cancer moon and then put Neptune, you know, right next to
it. And I mean that intuition and
that understanding, yes. And that feeling is so, so
strong and have that in a positive aspect with this
Jupiter. That's why we're always like the
whole chart matters because thatinfluence really brings a, a

(44:48):
like, kind of like it's OK type of energy to Jupiter and Virgo
being like, it's all right. If we don't have all the details
for it, you're allowed to believe it's OK.
Yeah, exactly. And I imagine that she was a
very comforting presence. Yeah.
Yeah, where Jupiter and Virgo could be a little bit dry
because it's so fact based, but then you throw in these Cancer

(45:09):
placements, it's like, yeah, I have facts.
And you know that I I'm going tooperate from a place of purity
and wanting to be of service because I genuinely feel for
you. And any time that there's Virgo
and Aquarius going on in a chart, those are like the they
have nothing in common. What?
Why do? Why am I blank in a version?
It's your favorite A version I It's just so intelligent.

(45:34):
It's so intelligent when you have Virgo and Aquarius
together. They don't think in the same
way, but they are such powerful thinkers that to have those two,
yeah, going on together, like you can see how she was able to
think and bring something different.
Yeah, so I thought it was cool. I feel like I got to learn

(45:55):
something new. I got to learn something about
someone that I never really knew, I didn't know anything
about. So that was really fun.
I hope you guys enjoyed also learning a little bit about a
public figure. Also, you know, she used
astrology like she was, she was a Mystic and we can see that
with her Jupiter in Virgo. I didn't even mention this is in
the 8th house. So we have this sort of like
taboo, right? Like I believe in something even

(46:18):
though it's a little bit hidden.Love it.
Love when we're like, oh, let's point our finger on it.
There it is. I'm sure Jupiter in Virgo loves
that too. Here's the proof of the thing I
believe in. Yeah, yeah.
So anyway, thank you guys so much for listening.
I hope that if you have Jupiter in Virgo or the 6th house, that
this was somewhat enlightening for you.
Or I hope that maybe you know something a little bit more

(46:40):
about somebody that you care about who has Jupiter in Virgo
or the 6th house. Anything you wanted to add here,
Sierra? I'm really enjoying this Jupiter
series. I like that we're doing
something a little bit different, you know, where we
get to see, yeah, people in action with this, but really
focusing on one person because this isn't a personal planet
anymore. So I'm enjoying that.

(47:02):
We'd love to hear your feedback on it.
And yeah, I'm, I'm excited for future episodes.
So me, me. Why did we talk about Jupiter
and Virgo today? Because the stars made us do it.
