(00:16):
Welcome back to the stars made me do it.
We are in Jupiter season, we arein Libra season.
So we're talking about Jupiter and Libra, everybody.
Happy Libra season, happy birthday to all you scales out
there. All you scaly people, happy
birthday. Y'all so scaly and yet the best
(00:39):
skin of the Zodiac. Facts.
Facts. I love that in French, Libra is
just like it's balance. It's just balance.
We're not even going to give it like this sign is balance.
That's what it is. Call it like it is.
Yeah. Libra energy is so beautiful.
We love a Libra season. It's a time where people are
just people in in the best way possible.
(01:01):
Ideally, I like Libra season. It's really grown on me.
I feel like as I've become more and more social and become more
a part of my local community, which makes so sense because
Libra is in my third House of like my neighborhood, my local
community. As I've gotten more comfy with
it, I've really enjoyed Libra Energy because it's just these
like interactions between two people that I don't know.
(01:24):
It feels like you're sharing something with each other.
You're sharing space with one another.
It feels like an ease of communication.
Everybody just wants everyone tobe happy.
There's no like, bad blood in the air, at least not so
prevalent. Yeah, the main energies of Libra
season are that of balance and harmony and social energy.
(01:45):
And very like, you know, Libra is ruled by Venus.
It's very, it's creative, but itis that soft energy.
And it's when we're, you know, the seasons are changing and
we're moving into fall time, butwe're not in the heart of it
like we are when we're in Scorpio season where we're
really like getting into that inner world where we're in a
(02:05):
socializing energy like school is back in session for those who
are on that kind of scholar calendar.
And we have the interactions that it's fun to do the fall
activities like let's go to the bumpkin patch, let's go Apple
picking, let's go all of that type of energy and just the it's
(02:27):
still nice out. But we're getting to the, I
mean, I'm thinking Northern hemisphere.
It's like it's still nice out, but we're getting into a little
bit of the cooler moments where you do want to be outside a
little. Bit well tempered, like there's
a balance in the air. It's not super sweaty, humid,
muggy like in the summertime andit's not freezing cold, right?
It's none of these extremes. It's just like the perfect chill
(02:47):
in the air to go do this nice little like placating activity
of apple picking, pumpkin picking, all of these things.
You know, it's actually really cool to think about both of the
Venus seasons being Taurus and Libra are really like ideal
weather. Totally.
Totally. Oh, yeah, I love that.
Totally. Yeah.
And if you like apple picking, maybe buy yourself an apple
(03:09):

know, social Libra season chat it up, share with everyone get.
(04:31):
Connected yeah so let's get intoJupiter in Libra First off, the
last time Jupiter was in Libra was September 2016 to October
2017 roughly, right Sometimes itmight have entered Scorpio in
October but then gone retrograde.
Like there's still a couple of pockets of time where Jupiter
and Libra might have been present before and after those
dates. But as we're talking about
(04:53):
Jupiter and Libra energy, you can think about how you might
have felt that influence during that year of your for life.
And then the next time it's in Libra is August 2028.
So not super far away. But I'm wondering, do you have
anything that's like obviously coming out for you that
September 2016, October 2017 forJupiter and Libra?
Yeah, for sure. That was when I was official.
(05:15):
Those are like the dates that I was in au pair and I I believe
it was yeah, it was 2016 to 2017and that was like the first year
that I I had been in a long distance relationship and then I
was in an in person relationshipfor the first time during that
time, which is such Libra themesto actually like, especially
(05:35):
because I am a Sagittarius rising.
So Jupiter is my ruling planet. So anytime that Jupiter changes
science, I have that extra influence of my entire chart.
And if you are a Sagittarius rising listening same sees to
you. And, and so I mean, that was
such, that was the first time that I was in a in person
relationship like in my life andthat I.
(05:58):
Mean so much growth happens. So much growth.
And it also was the first time like, I mean, I was an au pair
during this time and when I camefrom being a elementary school
teacher to then being an au pair.
And there is a totally differentenergy that you just do not have
the same type of respect when you are an au pair that you do
when you are a teacher. And so having to like really be
(06:23):
like, I just remember trying to be as keeping the peace as
possible because I didn't have the same authority that I used
to have. And that was such a year of
being like, all right, I need totake care of myself, but I also
need to please these parents. But I also need to take care of
these kids, but I also need to make sure that like the
environment is as good as it possibly can be for like, I
(06:45):
mean, that was such a huge themeand also like the social nature
of like just Libra and this being a year that I was
surrounded by a language I couldn't speak and I felt very
challenged to learn a new language, which like learning
and expanding and growing very Jupiter energy.
But I I just remember being like, I'm way too social to feel
(07:08):
this isolated without being ableto talk to people.
There was an element of being constricted.
Absolutely. And it really, you know, it was,
it was such a challenging time, but at the same time, it brought
about so many new social interactions because of the
little bits that I was learning and challenged to test out and
(07:30):
then getting to connect with people in that way.
Wow, okay, yeah, shows up very literally.
I also, I'm sorry, I just realized this.
I also decided to go back to grad school, like to get another
master's degree in global development and mediation.
Like and peace like I like, are you kidding me?
Your 9th and 10th house like so much about like the travelling
(07:51):
element, the long distance relationship, the education, and
then on top of that, like what you're doing for work and how
you're showing up in society. Literally going back to get
another higher education degree during this time.
Hot dance. Wow.
Yeah, really shows up for. You.
No, I didn't see it really show up for me.
I don't know. Honestly, I don't know that I
did see it show up so much for me.
(08:12):
I mean, this was a time where I,I got my two first pets, but I
don't know, even if that shows up much.
I know that I was really struggling with being a part of
a community and feeling like I belonged in the area that I was
living in because I was living with like my, you know, at the
time, my partners in his hometown and figuring out like,
you know, where do I fit in here?
(08:35):
I was definitely working some jobs that made me a little bit
more well known in the area, butI just didn't feel like I
belonged so much. And I think that I was mostly
doing a lot of growth in my relationship at that point in
time. I think, yeah, I was, we were
getting into, you know, like getting our animals and having a
lot of communication back and forth, figuring all of that out.
(08:56):
But other than that, I don't feel like this was a really
potent like activity time for mein my life, which I think also
speaks to Jupiter and Libra because as we're going to get
into it, Jupiter and Libra is about a discovering and living
in beauty, right? And like living in peace.
And I think that maybe that's what I was doing at that point,
(09:18):
besides the like kind of community in like my local area
that I was living in, not feeling like I was belonging
there. I do feel like we were really
finding a groove. I was finding a groove in my
relationship and in my little connections with my local
community wherever I could and and just finding beauty and
elegance and joy and peace in all of those surroundings.
(09:39):
Yeah, having to find that for yourself, like explore what does
bring you peace, especially whenthere is change and, you know,
when your life is, I mean, expanding in different ways,
like your, you know, community and your little like family of
like your fur family was, was expanding.
(10:01):
And I definitely feel that too. Like that involved me moving
back for a year, like with, I mean, just in the beginning of
those October times, like with my parents for the first time as
an adult, you know, like there'sa lot of having to bring in some
of that mediation tools during that time.
(10:21):
Yeah, so let's do a little rundown of what Jupiter
represents in the chart. For anybody who hasn't listened
to any of the other Jupiter episodes, there is Leo and
Virgo. So Jupiter and Leo and Jupiter
and Virgo are already out. And we also have an entire
episode on Jupiter in your chart.
So if you want a deep dive into what Jupiter represents in
astrology in your chart, how itscycles affect us, there's an
(10:43):
entire episode out for that. But just a little quick recap,
Jupiter is the first of the two social planets.
So it's a little different from the personal planets in that
it's not about your personality and the qualities of who you are
as an everyday person, but it's more involved in the way that
your life plays out. It is how we learn, how we
expand, what lessons we grow from in life, rather than what
(11:07):
lessons we mature a lot through with like Saturn.
It's how we grow, it's how we expand, as well as what pushes
us to grow and what pushes us toexpand.
And it's also like our blind optimism and blind faith.
Jupiter is such a trusting and optimistic planet that is
associated with religion. But I think now and more modern
(11:29):
times where religion is not the only source of belief, it's also
a planet of spirituality becauseit's just this element of faith.
And whether it is a faith in like a God or source or whatever
or not, it's a faith in yourself.
So a really strong belief that you prevail in whatever sign and
(11:50):
house your Jupiter placement is in.
Absolutely and also Jupiter rules broadcasting and we talked
about this in our Jupiter episode of just the social media
element, like how US comparing our two like Jupiter placements
cuz you have Jupiter and Scorpioand like what it is that you
share on your social media versus my Jupiter and Leo versus
(12:11):
what I share on my social media. And so I was just thinking of
like, you know, that is the whole element of a social
planet. We can kind of see that social
media like like overarching theme.
And I am broody and mysterious on Instagram for whatever reason
and. I I just have.
So many pictures of. Pictures of my face with my arms
(12:33):
out wide being like shining in Leo energy.
It's so wild. It's so wild.
How like when we like discussed that it's like oh damn.
My social media is Jupiter and Leo as fuck.
Yours is Jupiter and Scorpio as fuck.
So if you're a Jupiter, I remember.
Someone commented when they finally, we watched a video on
YouTube, which we're on video, go check us out and also on
(12:54):
Spotify. But they commented and they were
like, I totally thought Mimi wasgonna be like an olive skinned
dark curly hair because of like the way that we describe me
sometimes it's like so intense and like Scorpio vibes and I'm
like, actually I'm the Leo rising like bright orange
straight hair. Like, I don't know, it's wild.
It is wild how like the voice versus the face.
(13:17):
Like, yeah, let us know. Do our voices match our faces?
Yeah, yeah. What did you think we looked
like before you saw us? Would be fascinating, especially
for this Jupiter and Leo tell meI'm and this Leo rising.
Yeah, yeah. But if you have did.
You think we were this? Pretty.
Tell us more. Compliment us.
(13:38):
It's a social planet. Oh my God.
OK. Moving on.
We're gonna stop. But like if you have Jupiter in
Libra, I feel like your Instagram feed is beautiful or
your whatever social media of choice like.
It is think. Yeah, maybe pastels, good
lighting, like just, maybe not only pastels, but just good like
(14:00):
composition of. Yeah, regardless, it's
aesthetically pleasing. I don't know that it's just
pastels because I feel like there's this like dark romantic
energy to Jupiter and Libra too, where it's just like this
elegance to it, even like it being simplistic, a little
minimalistic maybe, like there being a balance to your feed, to
your whatever, to your aesthetic.
(14:22):
There's such a pleasing element to the eye.
Absolutely. Yeah, yeah.
And just Libra thoughts in general, We've discussed
Jupiter. Go and listen to that episode if
you'd like a little bit more on Jupiter.
But Libra is the first sign of fall.
It is a cardinal sign. It's starting off the season.
It's that, you know, goal getterenergy, but it is in that very
(14:46):
harmonious way. And it is a masculine sign,
meaning that it externalizes itsenergy as opposed to
internalizing it with that feminine sign because it is an
air sign. And being an air sign, it is
very, you know, social intellectual.
It's in the brain, space and just Libra energy seeks harmony,
(15:07):
they seek justice. But in that mediation,
peacekeeping way, it's a very. Yeah, you're not like blazing a
flag for justice. They are working on the
sidelines or not even in the sidelines because they are
absolutely in the thick of it. But you don't get the sense that
you don't know where a Libra stands, and that's why they're
(15:29):
good at mediating. They are very good.
I mean Libra energy sees both sides of a situation.
That's what they do. They are able to genuinely see
both sides so they can really bring it.
That's why Libra Energy has a tendency of being anti
confrontational and not taking a, not making a decision very
(15:50):
easily because they can see bothsides and because they don't
want to disrupt that harmony. So very good at being that
peacekeeper. But also, like Mimi said, you
might not know where they stand because they're very good at
keeping that peace. And then when we put these two
together, like having Jupiter inLibra, I mean, I think one of
the biggest things is that a Jupiter in Libra placement
(16:12):
learns and expands throughout their life because of their
relationships, because of the ways in which others have
influenced them or, you know, just conversations or social
circles that they're a part of. And I also think that, you know,
if this is our sense of optimismand faith, there's like a real
(16:33):
almost, I don't want to say rosetinted glasses because it's
logical. Libra is a logical sign, but
there is an air of idolizing others.
And when you think of Jupiter, it's also where we may
overextend ourselves or deny a little bit of struggle.
And so you put Jupiter in Libra, which has a tendency to self
sacrifice a little bit in order to make sure that everybody else
(16:55):
feels seen. Sometimes we Jupiter and Libra
placement may overextend themselves in their
relationships and that's how they learn and how they expand
in learning and realizing that they're overextending themselves
in their relationships. That's such a good point because
Jupiter is such a higher learning and just curiosity
placement planet and where we take risks too.
(17:17):
And so maybe the like, if you'vegot Jupiter in Libra, you might
find yourself like maybe leapinginto a relationship or, you
know, maybe that's the way in which you're perceived from that
social like philosophy standpoint.
Sorry if we just have to point out that Gaston is just like
staring off into space in your arms while you're talking, we
(17:38):
just didn't address it. He wanted to be a part of the
Jupiter conversation. He's a Sagittarius movie.
Oh my God. But yeah, I just think that that
could be like, because Jupiter has that risk taking element to
it as well. With Libra, maybe you are taking
risks in your relationships. Maybe, you know, you're also
just you're putting yourself outthere when it comes to keeping
(18:03):
the peace. Maybe it's a little too much.
Maybe it's a little too, you know, it's this weird element of
I wouldn't call Libra fully selfsacrificing in a way that like I
think of it maybe in a Pisces way, but they are going to maybe
sacrifice their like their position.
(18:23):
Themselves because they don't have a super strong, bold, like
audacious sense of self. Exactly, Yeah.
But they may sacrifice an opportunity to discover
something about themselves. Yeah.
And I feel like they they have very strong opinion or not
opinions, but beliefs when it comes to what is fair, what is
(18:48):
just total because of seeing both sides.
If they have when Libra sees both sides to everything, when
they make a decision, when they take a stance, it is so I think
valued because they can see bothsides of everything.
(19:08):
So to take a stand as a Jupiter Libra, like it holds weight.
And I think that they have that really strong sense of belief.
And like, I just remember like in comparison to talking about
Jupiter and Leo, where they havethat strong sense of self and
they believe in themselves and well, like, you know, that's
what they trust over everything. This feels like I believe in the
(19:32):
'cause I believe in equality. Exactly.
Justice, fairness, totally. You know, I really think that
Jupiter is a super complementaryenergy to Libra.
I mean, you think about the planet that Jupiter rules, it's
Sagittarius. And like when you put Sag and
Libra together, they temper eachother so well because
Sagittarius is known for being bold and speaking up and
(19:54):
speaking the truth where Libra may sometimes not speak their
truth. But with putting Jupiter in
Sagittarius? There's this element of chasing
truth, all in an effort to find equality.
And Jupiter doesn't lose the sense of self.
So there's sort of this infusionof self in this placement, but
(20:15):
in a very selfless way where it's not about ego, it's just
about self discovery. Yeah, that is like a really nice
blend. I like this energy.
It doesn't, you know, this isn'texalted or ruling or in follower
detriment. It's it's a more neutral energy,
but I really like the blend end of it.
I think it it can be a really like not powerful in a loud way,
(20:38):
but it could be a powerful placement to have Jupiter in
Libra. Yeah, and I mean so much, I feel
like of what I read about Jupiter in Libra focused on
aesthetics, like it just focusedon their ability to create a
really beautiful environment or really beautiful scenario or
home or something like that. Like it was all about
aesthetics. And I think that if we want to
(20:59):
look a little bit further past that surface level of just
appearances, I think that they are very good at creating a calm
environment of making sure that everybody, including themselves
can achieve this sense of everything is where it's meant
to be. And I can I can be social here
and not worry about any underlying tensions or anything
(21:22):
that I need to get done later. I think when you're in the
presence of a Jupiter and Libra person, you feel very much seen,
heard, taken care of and stimulated.
I feel like Jupiter and Libra just has the potential of being
a really good friend. There's that social element and
also any Libra placement wants things to be fair and wants
(21:46):
things to be enjoyable and and does not want the the energy to
be heavy. But you know, they're they're
able to they have chameleon energy to them as well.
But because this is a social planet and having that, you know
that Libra element to it, the friendship.
Maybe it's not the friend that you dive into your deepest
(22:08):
darkest secrets with, but it's like the friend energy that you
know that you can count on to bethere and and listen and connect
you with someone and want your life to be happy.
Totally, I will say think maybe a pitfall of Jupiter and Libra
is because Jupiter is sort of grass is greener on the other
side energy. Sometimes maybe Jupiter and
(22:32):
Libra has difficulty with settling into a relationship,
right? A1 on one partnership because
they're constantly thinking about like, well, couldn't we do
this or couldn't another relationship teach me this?
So maybe that's one of the lessons that a Jupiter and Libra
native has to learn in their. Life.
That's such a good idea because Jupiter always wants more, is
more, wants to learn, learn and expand and explore and have a
(22:54):
new experience. And then if we're dealing with
that in a relationship sign, that could be hard to be like,
yeah, no, I've explored enough and this is the relationship
that feels right. Like you want to be able to have
or I would think if you have Jupiter and Libra, you
definitely want to have adventures with your partner.
(23:16):
Oh yeah, definitely want to havea fun relationship.
Totally. Should we get into our
references? Do it.
All right, starting with my faveStephen Forrest.
He says this is about a single rose in a vase on your kitchen
table. You claim your true prize when
that external grace and elegancesink into the marrow of your
bones. So beautifully written.
(23:36):
That is more likely to happen ifyou're not seeking to keep up
with anyone or trying to impressanyone.
Which is a really interesting point about Libra and their
social status, right? Being a little bit concerned
about their social status and Jupiter almost wanting to be the
biggest presence in the room. So maybe there's a little bit of
lesson there of like trying to be the one that everybody likes.
(23:59):
Jupiter is large and in charge, and Libra is.
Let's be as inconspicuous as we can.
Yeah, yeah, very interesting. He goes on to say never
underestimate your aesthetic instincts.
They unerringly lead you to the creation of an environment that
soothes your spirit. Never underestimate the benefit
(24:19):
to you of the company of people who can be moved to tears by a
sunset or a fading rose or a piece of haunting music.
So he's really playing into thisbeing a Venus ruled Jupiter,
placement of it being like sensorial and peace and
contentment. The aesthetics are just so real
with Libra placements. I mean Libra mid heaven here
(24:42):
aesthetics like I it just it hits me when something is
beautifully curated like that and this energy can bring that
environment, especially because Jupiter wants to go over the
top. I feel like this could be great
party planning energy. Like I know that like we don't
necessarily want to Jupiter for like career, but it is social.
(25:03):
So I mean, I think it obviously comes into play if you are like
a wedding planner, a party planner or that is part of the
job that you do. Oh my gosh, what a beautiful eye
that that energy would bring because Jupiter wants it to be
fun and just over the top. And then Libra would just, it
would be like just cork it in sowell.
(25:24):
And like, Oh my gosh, the the color schemes and everything,
just having the perfect touch. An attention to detail in a
different way from Virgo. It's an attention to detail in a
vibe more than in a tiny. Yeah, where Virgo is creating
like this diorama, Libra is creating a living, breathing
space that humans will be experiencing.
(25:45):
Absolutely. Yeah.
Next up, your gift from the godsas a Jupiter in Libra.
The ability to harmonize colors, shapes, contradictory ideas, and
different kinds of people. That's beautiful harmonize all
of that to harmonize colors, butto harmonize people that's like
the diplomat energy. You know, like we can bring
together all of these different, you know, colors in a in a like
(26:10):
a piece of art or all of these different people in like
different cultures. Yes, Oh, I I love that.
I love. That and then the helpful wisdom
that he has for Jupiter and Libra is may you walk in beauty.
Hell yeah. Yeah, that's pretty.
Yeah, yeah. And from our rotating reference,
(26:30):
we have Alice Sparkly Cat, and she had some great thoughts on
Jupiter in Libra. She says that when Jupiter in
Libra want something, they don'tplan on getting there alone.
They never do. Jupiter in Libra isn't usually
in for individual glory. Even if they are, they will
always share that glory. Jupiter in Libra knows that they
(26:50):
don't need to outshine anyone, they don't need to dominate the
conversation, and they don't need to present their own gifts
like an elementary school student.
Giving a slideshow, OK, specific.
This is an interesting comment on the generosity aspect of
Jupiter and the I mean, Libra isalso very generous.
So I would assume that this placement is one of somebody
(27:12):
who, I mean, definitely a gift giver, like somebody who loves
to make other people feel good, right?
Like and to spread generosity and spread a belief in justice.
I also love the like when they want something, they don't plan
on getting there alone because that is something that you know,
has to be. Sure, this with.
Exactly, And a Libra placement journey is a journey of
(27:37):
independence versus dependence. And when they, you know, they
can have a tendency of being very attached and dependent on a
partner because they really do move through the world and learn
through relationships. But then there is this, you
know, individuality that Jupiterbrings a lot more of than Libra.
(27:57):
Exactly. And so I like this, like I'm
doing this thing, but I don't have to go there alone.
And I'm also not trying to outshine anybody.
Like we can do this together, which is a really nice kind of
like I, I can go on this trip with my people.
Yeah, it's very, I appreciate the selflessness of this
placement because Jupiter being this higher understanding, this
(28:20):
higher knowledge and like, you know, when you think about it in
spiritual terms, it is about like releasing the ego and
simply absorbing more life experience.
And then you put that in a very selfless sign like Libra.
It's just such a a beautiful potential.
Yeah, she continues to say that Jupiter in Libra knows that if
you want to get something done, the best way isn't to do it
(28:41):
yourself. The absolute best way to get
something done is to find someone who can do the thing
that you want to do and invite that person to the table.
I feel like I love how it's like, I love how this is so
literally opposite of Aries. Like, you know, like Aries
energy is I have to. Prove that I can do it.
(29:02):
Myself exactly. But the thing I really liked how
she worded this was invite that person to the table.
You're not, you're not delegating in the maybe
Capricorn way. You're not like ordering.
You're saying, hey, I want to dothis thing and I know that my
friend over here is really good at doing this thing.
I'm going to invite them over and we're going to talk about it
(29:23):
like there is a collaborative element to this.
Placementally, yeah, Well said. And then we also have that this
placement is most capable of mobilizing collective power.
Jupiter and Libra understands what people want when they enter
a movement. I love that.
Like the social just. Collective energy, yeah, because
(29:44):
you see the social aspect of obviously Jupiter being the
social planet, but then Libra being a social sign like this
very much cares about everybody's needs and, like, can
feel what the collective And it has this broader perspective,
this larger kind of bird's eye view of what will work and being
able to map it out more logistically or more logically,
(30:05):
I should say, because it is an air sign.
Exactly. And there is this like
independent, independent, like Iwant to fight for the truth
nature of Jupiter. But then there is this, I want
things to be fair and just nature of Libra.
So we those two really come together in such a nice social
(30:29):
movement way of I'm not going todestroy things to get to the
truth. I still want it to be well
respected and harmonious, but weboth have that same goal in
mind. And then she finishes by saying
when Jupiter in Libra wants to go somewhere, they invite more
people. That's why they get so lucky and
why they tend to succeed so gracefully.
(30:51):
I. Love this Right.
I'm a little Jelly. I wish I was born a year
earlier. No, I love my Jupiter in
Scorpio, but this is a beautifulplacement.
I mean, it has its lessons, you know, like it has its things to
learn, but that's, that's every placement.
That's every, that's life, right?
It's like lessons to learn and ways to grow.
But I like the grace through which they learn their lessons.
(31:16):
This feels like a very complementary energy.
I really appreciate the. It's Mars and Capricorn vibes,
you know, it's just like these complement each other so well.
Yes, oh, what a good comparison. That was like real Astro talk in
real time. If you know, you know love.
All right, And the last segment for today's episode is let's
(31:37):
talk about a public figure who has Jupiter in Libra.
And today we're talking about, Ifind this fascinating, Carl
Jung, he had Jupiter in Libra. So a little background on who he
is and some of his work. Carl Jung, he's born in 1875 and
passed away in 1961. He was a Swiss psychiatrist and
psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology.
(32:00):
Originally a close collaborator of Sigmund Freud, Young broke
away to develop his own theoriesemphasizing the role of the
collective unconscious, archetypes and process of
individuation, the journey towards psychological wholeness.
Young introduced key psychological concepts such as
the persona, shadow anima slash animus and the self, and
explored the intersection of psychology with mythology,
(32:22):
religion, alchemy, and Eastern philosophy.
He believed dreams, symbols and inner experiences were vital
guides to understanding the psyche.
Deeply spiritual but not dogmatic, Jung sought to
reconcile science and mysticism. His work laid the groundwork for
modern depth psychology and continues to influence
psychotherapy, religious studies, literature and art.
And it's really fascinating to see why Jung separated from
(32:45):
Freud because Jung wanted to step away from all the really
intense themes that Freud was, you know, Freud kept stepping
into like more sexual connotations and, and stuff much
more in depth. Not saying that Young wasn't,
you know, deep obviously like working psychoanalysis and
everything. It's like very deep.
(33:06):
But it seemed much more to be about the neutrality of studying
humankind and studying the map or the mind.
Whereas Freud was very much likeI need to get to the deepest
point of the trauma and how sexual repression, all this
stuff like much more Scorpionic energy, this Jupiter and Libra
was like expanding through understanding the mind and
(33:29):
analyzing the mind in a much more mental and logical way,
which just perfectly complementsLibra being an air sign.
This feels much more digestible, which I feel like Libra energy,
that's what it is. Like, we want to make it so that
everybody can access this. Everybody feels like it's on
(33:49):
their level. Everybody's included.
There is like, you know, if we compare it to like, you know,
that deeper and more like the the sexual, but also that, like
you said, getting to the very depths can not be as easily
accessible to everybody who's trying to learn these concepts.
And so this feels, yeah, like more palatable, like you said.
(34:12):
And when you look at someone like young who, yes, Jupiter is
the placement of how we learn and grow, but it's also if you
are in the role of a teacher or somebody who is like a pretty
big public figure who's being broadcasted like a, you know,
being you're a teacher too, right?
And so the Jupiter placement is who what you teach.
And the fact that he likely wouldn't have been able to teach
(34:36):
what he did or spread the information that he did without
having so many relationships andobserving people in a neutral
way. Like he had to learn that before
he could be the teacher that he was.
Yeah. And just so much of these
concepts of like, OK, psychology, yes, but mythology,
religion, alchemy, Eastern philosophy, all of that feel.
(35:01):
I mean, it's just screaming Jupiter.
But then because his Jupiter is in Libra, I'm looking at his
chart here. It's in the 9th house.
It's in the 9th, I know. Are you kidding me?
Yeah, it's like teaching about humans and the self and like
understanding psychological concepts.
But then from this larger perspective and involving
(35:21):
philosophy and religion, our 9thhouse themes like it all plays
out so beautifully. And deeply spiritual but not
dogmatic. It's like the Libra part of it
keeps it more neutral even though we have we have Jupiter
and we have the 9th house which could get dogmatic.
Oh, my God, Jupiter in the ninthcould be like, just someone
(35:43):
constantly preaching unsolicitedabout their beliefs.
But you put it in Libra where it's like, I don't want to shove
myself into your world. Like I want you to.
Yeah, I want you to express yourself or I want you to feel
like your perspective is being seen, too.
But even just thinking of this being in the 9th house, it's
like such a larger perspective, like of higher education and a
(36:04):
higher understanding of humans and how we work.
That's really cool. Also, I just want to say his son
is exactly conjunctive descendant, which is just so
like everybody else is so important, you know, and in Leo,
which is about the inner child and self-expression and the self
in general. So like his chart definitely
(36:25):
feeds into the whole narrative, but we should stick to Jupiter.
There are a couple of things that I thought was really
fascinating about his Jupiter. So for anybody who has Jupiter
in Libra, maybe you've related to a lot of the things that
we've said, but maybe there havebeen some things that are a
little off or maybe don't fit perfectly.
And that's because when you lookat your chart, the whole chart
matters. And so not only do you have
(36:46):
Jupiter in Libra, but like Freud, not Freud, but like Young
here, you might have Jupiter trying Saturn.
Young here has Saturn in Aquarius in the 1st house.
So his identity, his entire sense of self is the legacy that
he left when it comes to thinking innovatively about the
way that a mind works, right? Like really looking at large
(37:09):
groups of people, analyzing them.
And that being his social stance, his career and what he
is like, known for contributing. And you put that in a trine with
the Jupiter and Libra, like they're working so well with one
another. And like Saturn, I have Saturn
in the 1st house and it is such a challenge of, I mean, it's a
(37:30):
challenge of identity. It's a life journey of trying to
figure out who you are. I mean, everybody's going
through that. But like, it has an extra
challenging, you know, lesson toit.
And so it, it just, I feel like anybody who is trying to
discover something so deeply about themselves that they turn
it into their life's work, you know, like that really, you know
(37:51):
that that happens often when you, you know, you become an
expert in something because you're trying to figure it out
about yourself. And so I love that, that Saturn
in the 1st house, which is then trying that Jupiter in the 9th
of higher learning. And let me get the philosophical
perspective on all of this. And then also Jupiter is such an
(38:11):
educational energy. It is the Let me then teach it
to you. Yeah, and Saturn is such a
serious planet where Jupiter is one of like, let's let go of
what's serious and let's just find the truth.
And so they're working together just so well.
And then also his Jupiter in Libra is opposite, almost
exactly opposite the Chiron in Aries.
(38:31):
So you can see maybe for himselfpersonally, he was really
motivated to learn as much as hecould in throughout his
relationships because he had hisown wounding about identity and
who what the self is. But Jupiter in Libra, you would
think would focus much more on like relationship psychology.
But because of that opposition to Chiron in Aries, it's helping
(38:53):
uncover the truths about wounding in identity and
wounding in the self. And just the fact that, you
know, Jupiter is a teacher and Chiron is a healer.
He is, you know, one of the forefront psychoanalysts that
help people heal when they want to get to know themselves and
understand themselves better. I love that energy and when I,
(39:14):
when I look at just Jupiter opposition Chiron, it, it must
it it feels like when you feel that wound in your life.
And so in this Aries energy, youknow, in this identity and this
ego, when you feel that wounded energy, the pull from Jupiter
can make it feel so much bigger than it already does.
(39:36):
But then you have that flip. You have that flip of when you
expand into the healing of it, it makes it so much more deeply
healing than it already would, could be.
And so I feel like that's another like just reason that
all of this comes to play of I feel these wounds so deep that I
have to expand and learn about them.
(39:57):
And then I found so much healingfrom it that it's like this
cycle that just that opposition energy that pulls back and
forth, I have to keep going. Yes, and I actually want to
correct what we said. Jupiter, his Jupiter in Libra is
not in the 9th, it's in the 8th.So you can see how it, I mean,
the 8th house is psychology. I mean, we are going to have 9th
(40:18):
House Energy anyway. But like you have Jupiter, which
is this planet of expansion in the sign of Libra about
humankind and how we work and how we relate to one another and
also know about the self. And then you put it in the 8th
House of your literal psychology.
And then that's opposing Chiron in the second House of how you
make your income, of your career, your work life.
(40:39):
Like this is so just in your face.
It's so fascinating. I love looking at these public
figures. This is really fascinating and
that actually still goes along with, you know, when we talked
about Freud who was much more inthat like getting down like
excavating type of energy. We can see how young then has
that influence with 8th house because that is Scorpionic like
(41:04):
you know the. Clearly has interest in Yeah in
the deep dive. But then we have the Libra that
is tempering the but make it palatable.
Yeah, very, very fascinating. I do just want to throw out
there, Freud has his Jupiter andAries.
So it's just cool to see like the opposition there of we have
(41:24):
Jupiter and Libra versus Jupiterand Aries.
Yeah, but Freud has Mars and Libra.
Oh my God. Wait, famous duos, can we do a
Freud? A Young and Freud?
That'd be fascinating. I would love to.
Get us in the comments if you want that episode.
Yes, I think I have looked at Freud's chart before because
he's got a Gemini moon in the 8th and I remember thinking
(41:46):
about how like he's just so investigative about the mind and
stuff like that. Anyway, lot lot, it would be
really cool to look at both their charts.
So let us know if you guys are into that, if you would listen
to that episode. Yeah, and I guess just if you're
interested, Carl Jung is a Leo like Mimi mentioned, Aquarius
rising, Taurus moon. So that would be like the top
(42:09):
three there. But we have all of those
playing. Yeah, we have.
I mean triple fixed, but but butI mean that's what happens when
you have fixed energy working together on the same goal.
It's not stopping till it gets. Oh, absolutely.
Yeah. And it's so fascinating.
I mean, his Taurus moon being inthe 4th is like, Oh no, it's
(42:29):
actually in the third. But so that's your mental
development, right? That makes sense.
And then, you know, you have this Aquarius rising, which is
seeing things from a much largerperspective and like trying to
map everything out. And then you've got Leo Sun, all
about the self conjunct the descendant, all about everybody
else. Like all the start really comes
together to create this public figure.
(42:50):
Yeah. And then having Mars and
Sagittarius, that's playing like, you know, I don't know if
it's exactly sextile that Libra, but having more of that
Sagittarius influence, which is so Jupiterian, you know, like
that, that Mars and Sagittarius being like ruled by the Jupiter
and Libra. So we have more of that
exploring and philosophizing going on there.
(43:15):
This has been really fascinating.
I I love talking about I love these Jupiter placement or like
episodes. It's just a lot of fun to like
explore and then to see in real time, like how we saw it play
out in in a person's life and how they influenced because
Jupiter is such a planet of influence.
This is an influencer, right? So that's why we talk about it
being in like social media and stuff.
(43:35):
It's like how are you influencing your following
essentially? I would love to know if you are
a Jupiter in Libra, do you feel like your social media like
matches that? Because that I feel like.
Share the grid. It must be.
Bless us with your grid. All right, guys, thank you so
much for listening. This was this has been a really
(43:57):
good time. Let us know if any of this
resonates with you in the comments or if you know somebody
with Jupiter in Libra and if youcan really see it play out in
their lives. And Sierra, why did we talk
about Jupiter and Libra today? Because the stars made us do it.
