(00:10):
The Stairs made me do it, Welcome Back to the Stars made
me do it, and we are here with an analysis episode.
Yes. Spy was a flower and wild I'm
free all I wanted you to be my so you can only be this
soundtrack. I can't I'm like obsessed with
this I remember when this movie came out we're analyzing Juno in

(00:33):
case you just didn't read the title like a crazy human.
But I remember when this film came out and the soundtrack I
listened to just over and over and over again, every single
song. And I watched the film yesterday
and then going to sleep. All I like all I could hear was
like, there's my thing ships. But because it has take trips
too, like it just is such a run on.

(00:55):
I don't know. It's such an incredible
soundtrack, but it is also a very a very wordy soundtrack.
It is a very wordy soundtrack and it's so funny because like,
I remember when this movie came out and everyone was really like
making comments about how good the soundtrack was.
And I remember at the time beinglike, I am not cool enough for
this soundtrack. Like I am just not cool enough
for the soundtrack. And then hearing you say how

(01:16):
much it hit you, I was like, Yep, Yep, still like, I mean, I,
I'm, I'm cooler now, let's say, but I'm like, me, me is the type
of person this would have hit because we didn't know each
other when this movie came out. And like, you absolutely would
have been the person. Like you vibed with the people
in my life that were like, Oh myGod, the Juno soundtrack.
And I was like, I'm not cool enough that song.

(01:36):
I played the I played every songon guitar.
Like still sea of Love. When that came up in the film
movie, like I cried because I like since watching the movie
The first time, I learned the song Sea of Love by Cat Power
and I, you know, play that on guitar.
I sing it. I love that song and I played it
like hundreds, maybe thousands of times since I last watched
this movie. And then to hear it in the

(01:58):
movie, I was like, oh, right to the heart.
It was so I just, yeah, the music really hits.
It does really hit and if you are just jumping into this
episode, basically what we do inthe analysis episodes is we
watch a movie or a show or read a book or whatever it is.
And then we just kind of discussfor funsies as astrologers what

(02:19):
we think their signs are. And then we also give you the
signs of the actors who played those characters.
So Juno is the, it's like a, I don't know if I want to call it
a cult classic, but like, it's just, it was one of those
movies. Yeah, I think, yeah.
It in the same way that like Little Miss Sunshine was a.
Classic. That's that's my, that's my

(02:41):
category. That's a.
Classic for me. As as hard OK future episode
though my God that that would befun everything for me OK, OK,
good. But anyways, yes, I do think
that it like I enjoyed it when it came out and when we decided
to do Juno. I told you I texted you this
earlier I was like yeah like I'mfeeling neutral about this

(03:01):
choice and then I was like I sent you the what is it Bitmoji?
I'm not crying. You're crying.
It's. Like, oh, I just feel like the
movie surprises you with emotions.
So good which like. Spoiler she has a baby, yeah.
I feel like Oh my God it's like the the movie poster is pregnant

(03:21):
Juno so I don't feel like even aspoiler.
Which do we want to start with? Title.
Character? Do we want to start with Juno?
Yeah, let's get into it, Juno. I think OK, she has just got
this magneticism and like a special quality to her.
She does. She has something that it's like

(03:41):
just for her age for her, like, I don't know, like the way she
grew up and everything. She has something that is extra.
It's extraordinary outside of all of that.
Yeah, yeah, she just shines and she she's mature beyond her
years, but then also like leans into the fact that she knows

(04:02):
she's young. So she leans into immaturity as
a as a bit. And like she's morbid.
I don't know, she has this like morbid humor to her, but then so
non judgmental as well. Like she doesn't care about what
others are doing with their lives as long as it's not doing
harm. So I don't know, I feel like as
I was watching her, just all thefixed placements were getting

(04:23):
hit. You know, I was getting
Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, even a little bit of Taurus, but I
think Taurus probably the least so.
But but I would say that Leo, Aquarius access for like the
Aquarius of seeing the bigger picture and then the Leo for the
special quality that she has andjust this general warmth.
Like what I love about Juno so much is that with being so

(04:46):
comfortable with herself, she makes other people comfortable,
you know, and there's that element of warmth and yeah,
comfortability that she offers to the people around her.
So I kind of feel like she's a Leo rising.
I love the idea of Leo rising and I definitely echo a lot of
what you just said. My number one that I came up

(05:07):
with was Aquarius. And I just felt like they're, I
mean, I know that we often have that as like a main character
because it's like they're special.
They don't quite fit in, you know, like that's that's
classic. But for her, I feel like there's
something so odd and quirky and like emotionally removed, not in
a bad way, but of everything that's going on with her that I

(05:30):
think allowed her to keep her spark while going through a
massive transformation as a 16 year old.
And like, and also like having these moments of like observing
humanity, like, Oh my God, we'llget into it with like, what's
her name, Vanessa, the characterwho like wants to adopt, you
know, her baby, Like when she's like observing this like feeling

(05:53):
of motherhood from a distance. And and it's I just, I really
got this, you know, and no, I don't want you to pay me for the
baby. I just wanted to be in a loving
home type of thing like that whole.
Kind of selfless. Yes, yeah.
But then I also did add a littlebit of like, I like what you
said about Leah rising and that special factor that like she has

(06:13):
a warmth to her, but I was wondering if she had Aries
because of the cardinal energy that I feel she has like such.
She's like, I am taking action. I'm driving there, I'm doing the
thing, I'm making this decision.Nope, I'm doing something else
now. And also and.
So independent. Very independent and all of her

(06:33):
humor was sarcastic and I alwaysput that on Aries humor.
Like I love, I love the moment Iremember quoting this like
whenever the movie came out, like this was my big one that I
would quote was when the stepmomis saying, saying something like
about how she's going to get herlike special breed of dog and
she goes, whoa, dream big, dreambig.
Yeah, that was huge. And Brenda just goes don't fly a

(06:54):
kite. Yeah, I know.
Whoa. Dream Big was a huge quote.
Yeah, so good. I love that I hadn't considered
Aries but I can totally see it for her because she also really
does put herself 1st and she's like she's nervous to tell her
dad and stepmom that she's pregnant but she also is like
not taking shit you know? She doesn't take shit from
anybody. She really doesn't, and she is

(07:15):
very much the main character of her own life.
Oh for sure. Which really also plays into Leo
Rising. Yeah, yeah, I and I feel like
it's not, Of course, an Aquariusis the main character of their
own life, but an Aquarius doesn't need to be the main
character. Whereas I feel like Juno, she
it's not a need. It's just it it, she is the main

(07:36):
character. Yeah.
So do you think she's an Aries sun, Aquarius Moon or Aquarius
Sun Aries Moon? Oh, Oh my gosh, that's a hard
one. I think I would say Aries sun,
Aquarius moon, cuz the way that she processes her emotions are
quite Aquarian, you know, like even when she is having her

(07:57):
emotional help person. And then I really do love Aries
because the way that she acts quite impulsively, but
confidently. Like when she finds out that
Mark is going to leave Vanessa, she's driving in the van and
then she's sobbing in the van, which is like her big kind of
crescendo emotional moment. And then just without really
contemplating for a long time, she turns around, she writes a

(08:20):
note, she goes, if you're still in, I'm still in to Vanessa, you
know, and like that screams Aries to me.
It's taking action based off of an impulse and like really
trusting your instincts and confident in that instinct.
Yeah, and even just like the wayin which she immediately takes
action and then but isn't so attached to the idea that she
can't change her mind. Like she goes to the abortion

(08:42):
clinic. She's like, I'm going, I'm doing
it. And then she's in there and
she's like, Nope, I'm not like there's she she isn't that fixed
sign of I made that decision andI'm sticking with that decision.
She has that ability to like, you know what the the spark of
that Aries nature has taken overagain and I'm now moving forward

(09:03):
as a warrior into the next step.OK well I love this Aries sun,
Aquarius moon and Leo rising She's we're so similar.
I know I'm like, she's not that different from you.
I do, and I loved, you know, like as a character, I loved her
so much. And then I just was obsessed
with this film because I've always been obsessed with like
anything pregnancy or like fertility or birth.

(09:26):
Like that's always been such a fascination of a topic for me.
So then to have like Elliot Pageplaying this character that I
love and then also going throughthis like transition in life
that I find so fascinating. I just love this movie.
This movie was like a one-of-a-kind movie at the time.
I think we find more movies likethis now that have like such a

(09:47):
strong voice but in such a quirky delivery.
Yeah, it was off the beaten path, yeah, which now is like,
really popular and very easily accessible.
But back then, for it to become a mainstream movie was a big
deal. Exactly, Yeah.
Yeah. All right.
So Elliott Page's chart, he has a Pisces Sun and Saj Moon and we

(10:10):
don't know the rising. Very mutable.
Very mutable. I know I do love sage.
There was a part of me that thought Juno might have some
sage. Too.
I thought that too. Independence factor and like the
not holding your tongue, you know, like being quite bold in
your statements. But I feel like you get that
with Aquarius and Aries. Yeah, that combo, because

(10:33):
Aquarius and Sagittarius do havethat freedom factor and the
Aries is just going to go like aSagittarius would go, but in a
different way. Yeah, Yeah.
Yeah, I love that. So Next up we have Leah the
friend. OK, I mean, she, I love, I love
this character and I love that her and Judah were besties

(10:56):
because they're so different. But like.
Which really speaks to Juno's like Aries Aquarius cuz it's
like you do you cuz I don't careas long as I can do me.
Yes, yeah. I, I yeah.
And I feel like Liam mirrors that really well.
She does and like I love her personality, I love her dynamic.
I love like she her energy. I just, I got fire from her.

(11:19):
Like I was just thinking like I was wondering if she had Leo
energy, but she didn't feel likeas, I don't know, I was, I was
maybe putting sage. Not as feisty.
Yeah. I I it's funny because I was
kind of putting some Libra, too, where she was always just trying
to balance out the situation. And she's a really good friend.
Like, she knows that Juno is different from her.

(11:41):
But it's just like, well, these are what?
These are the things you need. And I want to be there for you.
You want me to drive you there? No.
OK. Do you want me to get you this
Slurpee? OK, fine.
I could do that. Like, let's look at ads together
in the paper. So like that cardinal energy of
taking care of your friend and then there's sort of that
superficiality, right? Like kind of she is more, you
know, she's a cheerleader. She's this more surface level

(12:02):
stereotypical character. So I kind of saw some Libra, but
yeah, I could see SAG as well. I was thinking, I was like
thinking kind of reflecting after I wrote my little notes,
like maybe I should add some Libra in there because she does
like it's not just Libra, it's Libra with fire, you know,
because she does have strong opinions.
She does share them. She's not just trying to smooth

(12:23):
over the situation, but like, you know, she's in the hospital,
like pushing your friend around, like in the wheelchair.
Like, that is not just Libra energy, but like, but that's why
I'm like, oh, she's got to have fire in there too.
And she's opinionated. And she's, you know, but also
like, what a fierce friend through all of this.
The only no I didn't write anything for her like no Zodiac

(12:45):
signs nothing. I just wrote such a good friend,
like I just felt she had such analliance and a care for Juno.
And like there's just this element of not caring what other
people think or perceive of her.So that's why there does need to
be something that really offsetsthat Libra desire to be seen as
completely balanced and like puttogether.

(13:06):
And I actually love the like thethinking about Libra sage combo
because of how she's like in love with the teacher and how
like that's such a Libra thing to be like, Oh my God, I have a
crush. Of course I have a crush.
I always have a crush. But then it's like Sagittarius,
like, Oh my God, he's just so smart.
He's just so. And it's like what?

(13:26):
And also, it's like risky, you know, I forgot about the teacher
infatuation. Yeah, OK.
There are some problems in this movie.
There, we'll get to it. Yes, we'll get to it.
Oh my God. OK, so Libra Sage, do you think
she's the Libra Sun, Sage Risingor Sage Sun Libra Moon?
I kind of love the idea of her being a Libra with a sage rising

(13:49):
in moon. OK I'm so down for that Yeah cuz
also she does have a sensitivityto her too so to have her moon
in. The 1st house.
Would would check out, especially when you put like
Libra and Sag, they're not particularly emotional, like
they don't lead with emotion. But when you put moon in the 1st
house, which for anybody who's new or maybe a beginner in

(14:09):
astrology, if you have the same moon as your rising sign in a
certain system called the whole sign system, you have your moon
in the 1st house. So typically you lead with more
moon like themes like emotions and nurturing energy.
So yeah, I really like that for her because there's an element
of Juno feels really safe with her.
She does and and she takes care of her.

(14:30):
She's like, do you need me to make the appointment for you?
I'll make the appointment for you.
You know, she's like, I'm at thehospital with you.
She comes to the ultrasounds, you know, like she is so
present, so good. I love this character and I love
like I love that this movie alsoshows how like just mature I

(14:51):
guess teenagers can be in unexpected ways while still
being teenagers. Like it just like kind of makes
me think about like when I was ateacher and how I'd be like
teaching 9 and 10 year olds. And I'm like, of course you're
of course you're 9 and you're a child.
But like I, I think it's so underestimated how mature like
in such surprising and like really respectful ways these

(15:13):
kids can be. And I feel like you see that
with like Juno and Leah when they're at the ultrasound and
then the, Oh my God, like Brendatoo with.
Like really is a boss she. Is incredible, but like, you
know, they're they're like, hey, like, what if like, why do don't
you think I could be a good parent?
Like what if these are like crackheads?
Come on, you know. Yeah, yeah, I know.

(15:34):
So they totally do exhibit maturity, but in just such a
teenage way, like exactly way ofspeaking their jokes and
everything. I love their humor.
Yes, agree. So the actress who plays Leah?
Olivia Thurlby, she's a Libra sun and Scorpio moon.
Love that we see her Libra. She she was giving visual Libra.

(15:56):
Absolutely. And I kind of see you can see
the Scorpio moon like in the character too, just because
she's so like, I got you, I'm soloyal, I don't care.
Like you can almost imagine thatthey were best friends in
kindergarten when they didn't have many differences.
But as they grew up and like, she became a cheerleader and
Juno became the weird art kid. Like she was like, well, we've
been best friends. Like we stay best friends.

(16:17):
Exactly. Yes, yes, I could totally see
that too. Yeah.
So Next up, we've got Polly Bleeker Bleeks, played by
Michael Cera. You know, he had very few lines
in this movie. He was giving me Pisces Virgo.

(16:38):
OK, totally can see Virgo. I can also see like he's just so
in his head, so I could definitely see Virgo and and
yeah, OK, Pisces. Like, yeah, I totally understand
because he's so Spacey and like,Lofty.
He's so Spacey and he's like. Someone to like he needs a
leash. And he's like, what what do you,
what do you mean? It wasn't my idea.
What whose idea was it? Like that's just felt like such

(16:58):
a Pisces thing to me. Like, wait, I, I don't know,
like tell me like whose idea wasit?
And just like in I don't, but hehas just like he's so, you know,
sweet and sensitive. But he again, like when the
parents are talking and they're like, it wasn't his idea.
Like we know it wasn't his idea.Like we know it's the Aries over
here, not the Pisces. Like, I don't know, I don't know

(17:21):
if he's a Pisces, but I was getting that access from him
because he is also like super caring and showing up, you know,
when when she needs him. Like, but yeah, he's also just
about. Like the most important
placement for me for Polly is his moon because I feel like,

(17:42):
you know, his sun and rising arevery different from whatever his
moon sign is. Because whatever Juno does get
access to when she gets access to his moon is what really
connects them. And I think that like this whole
layer, I think it could be like a Virgo rising because it's just
sort of like he's really trying to perceive and make.
Sense of everything you. Know he's just trying to make

(18:05):
sense of everything. He's really in his head.
He is very reserved about sayinganything.
Which then when you put next to Juno's Leo rising, who just says
the thing because it's coming from her heart and she knows
that's like authentic to her andthat's her truth.
Oh yeah. With Polly.
And then I like Pisces sun, but I feel like there's, there is a
sharpness to him that I almost like, there's a wittiness for

(18:28):
sure. Like that's what he and Juno
really share. And I almost feel like maybe
even doubling down on the mentallike Gemini moon and that would
really vibe with her Aquarius moon.
Because I think when they are intheir most comfortable scenes
together, like when they're walking around the track or
whatever, like it's all banter, you know?
Yeah, very quickly. Yeah, it I can definitely see

(18:51):
the mental nature there. I'm just so used to Gemini,
Gemini. I've been being super silly.
I just remembered the line whereshe's like, you're so cool
without even trying. And he's like I, I try really
hard. Yeah, well, that's the Virgo
rising and the Pisces. He's like, I I try really hard.
Michael Cera. What an era.
What an era he really like. He really had his moment in that

(19:15):
time. Yeah.
Oh my gosh. What?
He's. Up to now, OK, so I mean, I like
Gemini Moon because I also thinkhe's not super.
I mean, he's not very commutative about his emotions
because I think he's not feelinghis feelings so much, but he
also knows that he is feeling something, like he is clearly a
sensitive boy. Yeah.

(19:37):
With that Pisces son. I am OK with it and if I think
of something different I'll chime in.
All right. And then Michael Cera is a
Gemini Sun, Pisces Moon. Oh my God.
So and I feel like he does play himself, no?
Yeah, yes, absolutely. I really, I really do love.

(19:58):
I don't know, he just has such agenuine aloofness.
Like, Yep. Like when his mom says like, you
know, Juno called and you know how I feel about her.
And he's like, yeah, yeah, you've made that clear, You
know, like it's just a. I'm very aware and I'm also not
attaching anything to that. We're just going to let that

(20:20):
float by. This character gives so much
mutable energy because there's, you know, he tries to initiate
and saying like, oh, do you wantme to come to that appointment?
Like he does try to initiate andshe's like, oh, no, you don't
have to. And he's like, OK, like, fine,
then I won't. And, and he never really follows
up, you know, so he's never really like taking.
He's not initiating anything andhe's not really following

(20:42):
through on anything. It's always Juno leading the
way. And this would be a triple
mutable character with Pisces Sun, Gemini Moon, Virgo rising
so that that checks. Out.
Bless them. Yeah.
All right. Next up, Vanessa, played by
Jennifer Garner. I love this character.

(21:04):
I me too like watching this as do we know what year this movie
came out? I didn't look it up.
No, but I would imagine probablylike 2008, 2009.
I feel like it was very when I was like of 2007 or yeah, OK,
All right, so. Christmas release.
How weird. OK.
I was in high school then. So that was like, OK, if it came

(21:26):
out in 2007 in December, I was literally 17 when that came out.
So like, that was a very, like, age appropriate.
And like I age appropriate, meaning I connected to the main
character's age more so than the, like, adulty characters.
Yeah. And so seeing this again, like a
rewatch like in my 30s and you know, seeing Jennifer Garner's

(21:47):
character, like Vanessa, I was just like, I know this type of
person and I love, I just loved her character so much.
It's like I didn't relate to hercharacter on a personal level,
but it was like, I love how wellshe played this character.
I love this character in juxtaposition to Juno's
character and how they are completely different humans

(22:10):
totally and yet they both found something that was like they had
this like connection somehow. It was like it was just
beautifully done. I loved, I loved Vanessa's
character. Yeah, me too.
And this was again, another kindof, I don't know, another
representation of how non judgmental Juno is because
Jennifer Garner's character, like Vanessa by all kind of

(22:31):
means is the anti Juno, you know, like she wants to control
situation she has, she's a little bit more conventional and
she's not as wild and wacky. So Juno would be kind of the
type person to judge and be like, oh, you're lame and like
mark her as lame, but not once does she mark her as lame.
And I also see Juno's Aquarius moon when it comes to the whole
Vanessa, Mark, Juno dynamic because she does not see them as

(22:55):
a unit. She sees she has very unique
relationships with both Vanessa and Mark and she doesn't see
them as like this one partnership as this unit.
Yes, you're so right. She sees them as individuals as
opposed to a couple which like many long term couples get
grouped into a little duo. You know, like it's just these

(23:17):
two together. Especially if these are the 2
who are adopting your child likeMark and Vanessa.
It's like, no, she has completely separate, but I was
going to say respectful relationships with both of them,
but meaning like, you know, I have a relationship with you for
one thing, a relationship with you for another thing.
And it just so happens that you're both together and I have
that interaction with you both as well.

(23:39):
And I mean, Vanessa as a character, though, I mean, the
signs that are coming up for me immediately, it's giving
traditional Virgo by the way that the the house is set up
with. When we get introduced to her,
she's putting things, the tiny little intricate details.
She was reading the baby book. She is finding that do I want
this color yellow or this color yellow on the wall?

(24:02):
But then I also feel like there's something with the
Capricorn Cancer axis with her because there's such a
traditional way in which she wants to go about doing things.
And I think that that almost takes her of like, do I not have
this baby because I am no longergoing to be married?
And and then the cancer nature of just like I was born to be a

(24:22):
mom. And I'm not saying that you can
only feel that way if you're a cancer, but there's something.
So, you know, even just every time Juno comes over, she's
like, what's wrong? Do you need something like,
what's wrong? You know, like taking care.
Oh, she's instant. Yeah, exactly.
And those are the three signs I had as well.
So I could see her as like a Virgo sun, Cancer moon,
Capricorn rising. Yeah, I think so.

(24:44):
I think so too, yeah. It's kind of a no brainer.
I love that when sometimes we'relike, I have no idea for this
character could be this or this, and we're like, Nope, it's yeah.
We have it all down. And Jennifer Garner, She's an
Aries sun, Gemini moon, Cancer rising.
I totally see the cancer rising with her.
Absolutely. And you can see the cardinal
energy, which she also brings tothis character.

(25:07):
Like very cardinal. She's the one initiating
everything, whereas Mark is the one who's just kind of like,
bumbling along behind her. Yeah, do we talk about this fool
now? Yeah, unfortunately, I mean, his
scenes made me so uncomfortable. And I remember being
uncomfortable as a teenager watching this, but even more so

(25:29):
as a 30 year old or 31 year olds, you know, like seeing this
kind of behavior. You know, he and Vanessa are
probably our age, you know, likein these movies.
And to think of like that kind of behavior towards a 16 year
old, so inappropriate. And then also, you know, you're
married and the 16 year old is providing you with a baby.
Like, what are you doing? I feel like there's got to be

(25:51):
Aquarius in his chart. I feel like the way his life
story was playing out, Juno reminded him of who he wanted to
be. And so he was like, oh, I want
to go do that now. Because he almost was like
thriving off of her adolescence and feeling like he was still
young enough to go explore this option was like, you know,

(26:13):
dream, seriously, dream big. But like, he had settled into
life already with a partner and,you know, made choices that went
against what he clearly wanted. And then he got this inspiration
and this desire sparked when seeing this, you know, kid who
is so witty and special and magnetic and just wants to be

(26:37):
her. And so eventually, you know, he
goes off and implodes his life. And like when we take it, if we
take it on the not wildly inappropriate level, it was like
there was this person who came into his life that reminded him
of all of his past passions and,and relit something that he
didn't even realize had died. And like, I think everybody at

(27:00):
some point in life experiences their own version of that.
You know, it's just that like, why did you have to take it to a
creepy level? You know, Cuz I just think about
like the, the age difference of like what I'm hanging out with
my like goddaughter and like there that, that's like a
familial relationship, obviously, but it's like there's
certain things where I'm like, wow, your 12 year old self.

(27:21):
I have so much fun like getting life sparked into me from this,
like, you know, little mind and little brain.
I feel like there's a, there's ahealthy relationship way of
that. And then there's like, what a
fucking creeper. Like, Oh my God, gross.
Like everything gross. But like, if we take him as a
character, I agree that there's some sort of Aquarius in there

(27:41):
and there's something that is like, you know, the way in which
he's like, yeah, Vanessa, let mehave my own room.
Like he is the type of which I also think is something that
happens quite often in, like, relationships, especially if
they're younger relationships where you don't feel as fully
established as your own person before you go into them.

(28:05):
But like I, there's something that he dissolved himself into
that partnership and it was like, I, you know, I want my
wife to be happy and, and yay, Iget my guitars in this room and
like, and you know, for in that moment, that was, that was good.
Like I've got the basement, I'vegot the room, like yay.

(28:25):
But then it's like, wait, but there's not one speck of me in
the rest of this house. And this is supposed to be a
unit. And so there's whatever sign
that can kind of like dissolve into that, you know?
Yeah. I mean whether it's a queer,
it's Pisces or Libra, you know, there is sort of this non

(28:45):
committal energy. There's something.
That he's giving that I want to say Libra like, because it's
almost like I want to appease mypartner and I don't want to step
on any toes and I don't want to,you know, but and then the
Aquarius, I don't know, I can just so like see these energies
together when it isn't positive, you know, like really letting

(29:11):
your mind run away like with allthese ideas and you know, and
also be so like in your head about it and like making logical
excuses for certain, you know. Yeah, and just being like, well,
you know, nothing is happening, nothing is nothing tangible is
happening. It's all just thoughts.

(29:32):
And and to him, I, you know, I think this dynamic is so
interesting. Obviously I do think it's
creepy, but I, I also can sort of not empathize.
It's so not the right, right term, but like he is seeing a
version of himself he wanted to be.
And then he's making the changesbecause he's realizing he got
stuck in this relationship and it went too far.

(29:55):
So I almost want to throw in maybe like a Taurus rising 2
where there's such a commitment and like, he wanted to be a
reliable partner. And then maybe a Libra moon of
like, yeah, dissolving his emotions into make into
appeasing his partner. And then you know, when he does
get sparked by Juno's aquarium this and Leo that, he's like,
wait, my sun energy, my solar energy is not being satisfied

(30:20):
and I need to shine. And that's really what is
triggered as like this need to shine the way that Juno does.
And there's definitely somethingto be said about like when you
meet someone with the same moon sign as your sun sign, how you
feel that connection where or, you know, the opposite of that,
like you just you get the light on you in a different way or

(30:41):
reflected back to you in a different way that really
activates your own energy of that sign and that Aquarius sun
to moon activation. And, and there's also a
creativity that can come with Libra and of course, Taurus,
because he's a musician and he like, you know, to the point
where even though he was like what you call him a sell out or

(31:01):
something, but like his, his jingles were good enough to, you
know, get them this beautiful home and all of this stuff.
So like, I don't know, I don't know.
Like if he I don't, I'm thinkingabout the Taurus rising.
Do you think he dresses like a Taurus rising?
For sure. Yeah, he he definitely like the
the music and everything is unexpected based on the

(31:24):
impression that he gives like his like rock'n'roll, like, I
don't know, like he he's more, he gives a stoic and then we get
the creativity. Coming out, he has a presence.
He's there, you know, it's not like he's out of, you know, it's
not like his mind is elsewhere. When he's in the room, he's in
the room. He's being very present.
And he also was not like very chatty when he was in the group

(31:47):
setting. And then once we broke through
that rising and we got to the Aquarius, we got to the Libra,
we get more chatty. So OK, so we want to call him an
Aquarius Sun and Libra Moon, Taurus rising.
Yeah. And then Jason Bateman, which
let's just like this is the onlymovie I've watched with Jason
Bateman where he's like a bad guy.

(32:09):
I feel like usually he's a likable character, but in this
film I was like, wait, I'm not used to not liking Jason.
Bateman. I know, I know.
Don't like this guy I know but Jason Bateman is a Capricorn
sun, Saj moon, Leo rising. I would love to hang out with
him. Are you kidding me?
He's my opposite. Sun and Moon and then a Leo

(32:31):
rising, which obviously we know I love.
Yeah. Yes.
Oh my God I love this. Yeah, and you can see it too.
You could definitely see his caps on.
I can see the caps. Moon, like, he's goofy, he's
funny, he doesn't take life too seriously.
And then I mean, Leo Rising makes sense for any actor
really, any performer. Absolutely.

(32:51):
I love that. I love that combo.
Yeah. OK.
Next up we've got JK Simmons, AKA Mac the Dad.
I love him he's. So good.
He's such a good dad. He's so good at just holding
space for his daughter. Like he is clearly a girl dad,
you know, like, just like what'sgoing on June Bug, anything I
got to know, like, what are you feeling?

(33:12):
What are you doing? You know he's so present with
her but then also gives her space like he knows he's raising
an Aries. Yes, Oh my God, I I love this
character. I love the like the Nuggets of
quotes that we get from him. I love the attitude that has
such heart behind it too. Or like Vanessa, it's like, did
you ever just know you were supposed to do something?
And he's like, Yep, heating and air conditioning.

(33:34):
I love it like I love it. But gives.
Kind of Capricorn to me, you know, And then that plays really
well with the independence factor and like the cardinal
energy, like playing between himand Juno.
And you know, I also wouldn't besurprised if he like, I don't
know this for sure. I got to talk it out.
We know I got to talk it out. But like if he was an Aries

(33:57):
moon, that same sun relationship, sun moon
relationship, like if he's the Aries moon with his Airy sun
daughter and just gets it like he gets that she like he he's
tinkering on his own in his house.
He he has solo time, but he getsthat his like Airy sun child
needs to go out there, externalize that kind of

(34:18):
independence energy. But like I also just I have two
quotes from him that I just it really got me one of them.
I was just cracking up when he said like, we're gonna go like,
let's talk to those baby starvedwing nuts, those baby starved.
Like, I just I just like the writing behind these lines in

(34:38):
this movie, like so good. But then also when he had like a
genuine heartfelt conversation with her, it wasn't, you know,
like tears were not about to be shed, but damn, was it
heartfelt. And he said the right person.
Still going to think the sun shines out your ass and like
that gives me that Aries sarcasmbut with such heart behind it

(35:03):
and I Oh my God, I just love this character.
But I do I can see the the Capricorn nature we do get like.
Well, do you feel like then we're getting more Aries Leo
from him as well? Because coming from the heart
like. I could see him being a Leo with
Capricorn rising and Aries. Yeah.
Yeah, cuz of the way he deliversis so Capricorn, the quote that

(35:25):
I have from him, which I wanted to kind of peg to it being water
somewhere. I thought maybe there was some
sort of water in there. But when, you know, after she's
given birth and she's like brushing.
Yeah, he's brushing her hair. And he goes, someday you'll be
back here, honey, on your terms. That made me cry.
You know, there was just such a genuine yes there.

(35:48):
Like he knows when to put aside the sarcasm and be very
heartfelt. Oh, my God.
And that is the character trait that I just appreciate so much.
Like, I appreciate the sarcasm and the laughing and then the.
I understand that this is a moment that calls for something
like more. More real.
Exactly. Yeah.
I love that. I can.

(36:08):
Yeah. I can see him being a Leo, but
that Capricorn rising keeps it locked down.
She said she was in the military, you know, and then I
can see that Aries Moon, becausehe is such a he, he does give
her full independence. But also I love when he's like,
did you see this coming? And she was like, well, yeah, I
saw it as a possibility. He's like, yeah.
But I was hoping for like, you know, drugs or like a felony

(36:30):
exposure. Wait, and I love Mac and Vanessa
both being Capricorn risings because with the interactions
between each other, it is Capricorn, you know?
Like she is just like if you ever felt like you were just
born for something, he's like Yup, eating and air
conditioning. Like I just feel like they were
both born for something with purpose, but just very

(36:50):
different, you know? So good.
Oh my God, so good. Yeah, I really like.
That What about this actor? JK Simmons is a Capricorn son
and Leo moon. Oh my God, which you can so.
See, and he's also another actorwho does play like himself quite
often, you know, like he brings his quality, which is like so
Leo, where that is enough, that shines enough.

(37:12):
You could say anything and it'd be funny because it's you saying
it. It's like when we're trying to
put together a cast and it's like we want him for this
character. We're not trying to find
somebody who could play this character.
We're trying to put him. JK Simmons.
Yeah, yeah, I love that. And then the last character I
have, unless there's anyone elsethat you want to throw in, is
just badass Brenda. Oh my God, Brenda is everything

(37:36):
and I love this actress too. Like, yeah, she's one of my
favorites, but I I loved her andI just like there's something in
me like, and this is I don't know where it's really coming
from because I don't have any stepparents.
But like the way in which her fierce like mother love for her

(37:56):
stepchild throughout this entiremovie, it's just so admirable.
And it's so I just I love it so much.
And it's it's not. Again, none of this is in a
Cancerian way. We have Vanessa brings the
cancer energy, but none of the Juno family brings the cancer
energy. If anything but it's.
So. Giving like such advocacy where

(38:20):
and I feel like advocacy on behalf of someone who is a
child. Like she's known Juno since Juno
was six years old. So like she and has seen this
mother abandonment wound. And it's like I will fiercely be
the mother. I will take that place without
being like, I am the only motheryou've ever had.
Exactly. But she does claim Juno as her

(38:41):
child and, you know, standing upfor her at the ultrasound.
And I think for me, a really bigcharacter trait that showed
early on was when Juno announcedthat she was pregnant.
And Brenda was immediately like,OK, well, we got to get you on
prenatals. Yep.
We got to get going on the things.
If we're going to keep this baby, then we need to make sure
we're taking care of the baby before it comes out.

(39:02):
Like she's so there's cardinal energy in there.
That's my first note was Cardinal, yeah.
That was she does not worry yourfret, you know, she's just like,
OK, well, what action can we take?
And that gives Aries to me. I had Aries in Capricorn because
the, the fact that she also brings everything back to her
job. She's a nail technician and

(39:23):
she's like, prenatal is great for your nails.
And then she asked the woman, what's your job title?
Well, this is my job title. Let's stick to our job titles.
And she's making. Yeah.
And she just, she reminds me of like, you know, my Capricorn
parents in a way of being like this nurturing thing is my job.
So I will do it, you know, like it's that like I am taking on

(39:43):
this role. So I've made it my job and and
it's a totally different type oflove than a cancer love.
And so I but I was also, I mean, she is fiery and feisty and
like. I she's intense.
Like I wonder if there's a little Scorpio in there too.
Because she's like, she was going to say.
Core. I I would I could put Scorpio

(40:05):
rising on her. Yeah, that's what I was thinking
as well. And then I would put her as a
Capricorn over in Aries. But.
Yeah, I could see that. I'm trying to think what else I
mean, so Aries, not Taurus, not Gemini.
I could honestly, I can see someCancer but.

(40:26):
If she has Capricorn energy, she's not a Capricorn moon
because I just don't like that. I don't feel that in like it
expressing itself in that way. I would say sun or rising if we
do have Capricorn, but I could see the intensity of Scorpio and
the protectiveness and loyal factor of Scorpio.

(40:47):
And also that would like, you know, we've been saying Aries,
but a lot of that energy could be Scorpio energy.
Yeah. And then I was kind of thinking
that might it lend itself to have some SAG energy in there
too, you know? I.
Feel like maybe having a sag moon, yeah.
Yeah, where there is like she's got the, it's almost like the

(41:10):
combo of like maybe Scorpio, Capricorn, Sag being like, I
will have fun, damn it, I will enjoy my life.
I'm making a scrapbook, you know, like.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And and there is a mutability to
her where she's like, I know I'll have these wineramers
someday, won't have them right now.
Like I think there's a well roundedness to Brenda.

(41:31):
She's actually like the MVP of this entire movie.
The well roundedness is coming from having cardinal, fixed and
mutable placements in her top three.
So are we calling her a Cap sun,a Saj moon and then Scorpio
rising? Yeah.
I love that. Yeah, me too.
And then Allison Janney, the actress.
She's a Scorpio Sun, Cancer Moonand Pisces rising.

(41:55):
Oh my God. Also we she's triple water.
We need to mention that Brenda and Mac named their child
Liberty Bell. We do.
So I feel like. That's sad.
Sad. Like that's fire.
Just people like, yeah, this is going to be funny, but LB for

(42:18):
sure. And people just call her LB.
I really like, I love how that is never addressed and that
like. No, it's totally normal.
Yeah, and that Liberty Bell, it's like, yeah, we got Liberty
Bell's, like ice skating lesson, you know?
Oh my God. I thought so ice skating.
And I like this for Brenda. You know, you think she's so
Capricorn and so conventional and so strict, but then it's

(42:39):
like, yeah, my daughter's name is Liberty Bell.
I'm a Sag moon. Yeah, yes, yes.
Yeah, I like that a lot. This is this was really fun to
analyze because I think this is just such a good movie.
Like whether or not it's your vibe, like the movie is just
excellent. Like as far as like character,

(43:01):
like just, I don't know, characters, the cast, the
storyline, like you know it, it's so it just lends itself to
such depth with each character. Even though like we, we went
over quite a few characters, butwe got there wasn't really any
of them where we're like, well, maybe this, you know, it's like,
no, like we, we got to know these characters and not that
long of a period. Of time, the dynamics were very

(43:25):
potent, like you could really see and everyone is going
through like a very intense timein their lives.
And that's when people really show their true colors and show
who they are so like to see OK, this is who Juno is when push
really comes to shove, no pun intended.
Or like this is who Jennifer Garner is when she realized his
Sorry, Vanessa. When her husband leaves her and

(43:46):
she has to decide if she's stillgonna be a mom and like, which
can we just talk about the moment at the end where she's
holding her son and she's like, I have a son and like that kills
me. I always am like, you know what?
I think I probably won't cry to this movie this time.
And then the ending always gets me, like when Michael Cera is
snuggling Juno from behind afterthe birth and even just like him

(44:09):
winning this the track meet and then knowing that Juno wasn't in
the in the stands or whatever. And he's like, I know exactly
where she is and ran to her and like, you know, so emotional.
I I really did. It got me.
It definitely got me. I was crying and, and I, I mean,
I, I wasn't against that, but I was just like, I didn't think it

(44:31):
hit me so deep because I'm, I'm not personally relating to any
of these characters right now, but it didn't matter because it
was just such strong emotion that they were able to evoke
from everybody. Like watching it.
It was just really well done andand I I quite enjoyed the
experience. I will say this was in the this
experience and watching it, I related to Vanessa so much and

(44:53):
just like felt for her so much because she was so excited about
this future and she wanted to share it with her partner.
And her partner was just this deadbeat who wasn't present.
And like, I just felt for her somuch like in how badly she
wanted this future and she was just trying to make it work and
like, pretend that her partner was a partner.

(45:15):
And yeah, I just really felt forher.
And I was really pissed at Mark.Oh, my God.
I know because it's it's one of those like you let it go too
far. You let it go way too far where
the minute that your wife wants to, you know, put out like a ad,
you know, for a baby, it should have been the moment that you
had these crashing realizations.Yeah.

(45:36):
Like that should have been the moment to say stop.
And you let it go way too far. Like, I think everybody can, you
know, experience a moment of like, oh, I did let this go too
far. But then when you realize it,
it's like, you know, you, you don't do something about it when
you've already signed a contractto have to adopt A child, you

(45:56):
know, So anyways, and I also think that that just speaks to
like the the fact that, Oh my God, it always hits me that she
framed like it was supposed to be a family photo and she framed
the note of being like, I'm in, if you're in, Oh my God, so
good, so good. Yeah, so hope you guys enjoyed
the analysis and if you haven't watched Juno in a while, go

(46:17):
watch it. Yeah, it's quality.
And I'm gonna write Little Miss Sunshine on our list because I
would so love to do that next. Yes, I'm done already.
Watch that. Well, thanks for being here.
Thanks for chatting with us and analyzing.
And Mimi, why did we talk about Juno today?
