The Stairs made me do it. Welcome Back to the Stars made
me do it. We are here with an Aspects
episode. It's been a minute.
I know I'm excited and if you haven't listened to any of our
aspects episode before, you don't know what the series is.
Basically we discussed 2 planets.
We do a little overview of what each planet means individually
(00:34):
and then we discuss how they relate to one another, how they
act with one another when they are interacting in your chart,
and then also what it means whenthey're interacting with one
another through transits, AKA what the planets are doing right
now. And then in sinistry, which is,
you know, say Sierra's Venus andmy Jupiter are interacting,
that's called sinistry. It's between two Natal charts.
(00:56):
So we're going to go over Venus and Jupiter today, but we've got
a couple of other aspect episodes that you could
definitely check out as well. Yes, and if you don't already
follow us over on Instagram and on TikTok at the stars Made me
podcast you. We are also on Patreon and that
is patreon.com/the stars made medo it.
(01:17):
And we have episodes out early over there.
We have week, sorry monthly transit episodes where you can
get the astrological forecast ofwhat is coming up.
And we also have our individual pages that you are welcome to
follow. You can follow Mimi's magic over
at Harvey Mountain dot alchemy, where she has her magical candle
business as well as many the other.
(01:40):
I don't even know what to call it like offerings, magical
offerings. There we go.
And then you can follow me at magical dot bookclub on
Instagram. You can find me at my website at
sierraautum.com for other magical things as well, but make
sure to check out both of us over on our Patreon, over on
Instagram and TikTok. And thank you for interacting
(02:01):
with us either on Spotify. You can watch this episode.
If you're just listening right now, you could be watching this
on Spotify or on YouTube. And my hair situation is very
cute right now, so you should definitely be watching on video.
My hair situation. Yeah, you look very cute today.
Oh my God, thank. You, you're embracing.
Your bangs are cute, you got a little curl vibe going on, and
(02:21):
your earrings. Yeah, you look good.
Go check her out. Oh, my gosh.
Oh. My gosh.
Thank you. Yes, go check us out on
everything Instagram, Patreon, TikTok, and also let us know
after you listen to this episodewhat planets you have in your
chart that are interacting with one another that you want us to
discuss next time. Yes, yes, we do have quite a few
(02:43):
aspect episodes out, but we haveliterally endless possibilities
of future aspect episodes because you know, everything is
interacting with it with each other in the sky, in the charts
and in your chart with somebody else's chart, in your chart with
your own chart and in your chartwith what's happening in the
sky. So it's really nice to, that's
(03:06):
what kind of started this kind of aspect series when I was
like, well, how does my Jupiter, let's say, interact with this
person's Venus? Because they are, you know,
right next to each other or opposing one another.
And so that's that's what we're doing here.
Yeah, so let's keep it nice and simple.
We'll start by just discussing the two planets that we're we
are bringing up today, which these planets are the goodies.
(03:27):
They're known as the benefits because they're the 2 fortune
bringing planets. Venus is a planet of abundance,
of gifts, of finances, of steadiness in relationships, of
balance, inner peace about sensuality.
And then Jupiter is another other very positive planet about
personal growth, personal achievements in a way of your
(03:52):
philosophy in life, your optimism, your sense of faith.
Right now we have all the Venus episodes out.
We did our Venus season 2 years ago.
So if you know your Venus sign, you can go listen to your
episode for Venus in Scorpio or Venus in Aquarius.
And we are currently working on our Jupiter season.
So if you have your Jupiter in, you know, the first like in what
(04:14):
is it? Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and
Scorpio is about to come out. So then your episode is out, but
just wait and your Jupiter episode will come out as well.
But today we're going to kind ofgo over what Venus and Jupiter,
how they relate to one another and what they are able to bring
us when they are interacting with one another in our Natal
(04:37):
charts. Yeah, if you look at your birth
chart, this is. If you're not super savvy with
reading your own birth chart, this might be a little bit, you
know, complex because you do need to be able to know.
I have Venus in this sign, I have Jupiter in this sign and
and then have an idea of how they are interacting with one
(04:59):
another. But what if you do have that
knowledge? And if you don't talk to your
favorite astrologer, get some more knowledge on it or go
listen to some of our episodes and you'll get there.
But. Or join us on Patreon and then
show your chart in the discord that we have and we can let you
know if your Venus and Jupiter are interacting with one
another. Yes.
And we could also let you know if they're interacting with one
(05:20):
of our Venus and Jupiters because that's that sinister
that we're going to talking about too.
And basically, you know, everything of course, is always
interacting within your chart, but there are certain aspects
that are strong. There are certain aspects that
are strong that we are going to be going over.
We will talk about them soon. But when you look at your own
(05:41):
chart and you recognize that there is a particular
interaction that has a name thathas an energy between your
Jupiter and your Venus, like Mimi mentioned, Jupiter and
Venus are the benefits. These are like the Oh yeah,
energy. When you look at your chart like
Venus, all about love and creativity.
It is such a loving positive energy and Jupiter abundance,
(06:01):
positivity, optimism. Any which way that these planets
are interacting with each other is on the more positive side of
things, even if it is what we consider a more challenging
aspect because it's the benefits.
Even a challenging aspect isn't as challenging as if it were
different planets interacting. So that's a really, that's why
this episode is pretty exciting because it's an overall good
(06:24):
vibes interaction for everythingthat we've got going on between
Jupiter and Venus. And you know my Sagittarius ass
loves that. Yeah, this is an episode that
you wanted to do a while ago. And I was like, I'm not ready
because I have a Venus Jupiter, like there, it's a very
prominent part of my chart is having my Venus Jupiter
opposition. I was like, I'm not ready.
I haven't really looked into it and explored it and like felt
(06:47):
into it in my own like life and my own body and my own feelings
about my chart. So it took me some time, but I
am really excited to get into this because I feel like over
time I've definitely been able to feel into how my Venus and my
Jupiter, but are interacting with one another and showing up
in my kind of life story. Yeah, I'll get into it.
(07:08):
And we start talking about aspects about how I have a loose
aspect in in this. And I would, I just laughed out
loud because I was like, that sounds like me.
And then I have one of those. Wait a minute, do I have this?
And then I looked at my chart. I'm like, yeah, it's pretty
close. It's pretty close.
But just real quick overview. Venus, it is the ruler of Taurus
and Libra. Jupiter is the ruler of
(07:29):
Sagittarius and Pisces. So both of these planets have
two signs that they rule over. We traditionally think of
Jupiter with Sagittarius, but intraditional astrology, it is
also the ruler of Pisces. And then Venus in all the cases
is ruler of both Taurus and Libra.
So like Mimi mentioned, we have Venus being that emotion, the
(07:52):
embodied emotion, creative pursuits, relationships,
intimacy, how we seek and achieve harmony.
It is also our finances, our values.
And then when we get to Jupiter,it's a social planet.
We have a whole episode out on just Jupiter, if you want some
Jupiter, some juicy Jupiter news.
Yeah. The Juicy Juice.
(08:14):
The Juicy Juice, I'm sorry. And it is a social planet.
So it is different from a personal planet.
Venus is a personal planet. We really feel that energy in
our everyday life. And when we interact with
others, it's, you know, we are interacting from a place of
value in relationships. But Jupiter is more of a social
planet. So it's more in the lot more
(08:35):
involved in how your life plays out than who you are at your
core. So it's all about learning.
It's about that higher thinking, how we access expansion, our
sense of optimism and faith likeMimi mentioned, and all about
luck, abundance, personal truth, where we're seeking it, and also
like our morals. Yeah, our ethics are definitely
(08:57):
living where our Jupiter is in our chart.
But yeah, like Sierra said, we have a Jupiter in your chart
episode just about Jupiter, whathe represents in your chart.
And we also have one for Venus. So if you want a deeper dive
into either of these planets, just about what they mean as
like blanket statements, definitely go check out those
episodes. And then basically it's
discussing what do they achieve together.
(09:18):
And for me, I think like that's kind of the biggest discussion
of a conjunction. So for anybody who's new here, a
conjunction is one of the major aspects that we're going to be
discussing today. And it means when the two
planets are in the same place inyour chart.
So if you're looking at your circle chart or even if you're
looking at like the planets written out and what sign
they're in, if you see your Venus is at is in Sagittarius
(09:42):
and your Jupiter's also in Sagittarius, then just check and
see those degree points. So the number right before
Sagittarius say that Venus is at9° and Jupiter's at 12°.
We're going to call that a conjunction because it's very
close to one another. Usually within 5 to 7° is close
enough. So if you have one at 20° and
(10:04):
the other at 27, I would say that's a loose conjunction, but
a conjunction nonetheless. So when we're discussing these
two planets as they relate to each other, I think it's also
kind of the best way to discuss how they would interact if
they're in a conjunction becauseit's, they are both extremely
present in this place and they are both feeding off of one
(10:25):
another. There's no, there's no space
between them. There's not one without the
other. They're very much operating
together as a team. And you won't have just a single
Venus or a single Jupiter. Those two are always going to be
intertwined with one another. Have a conjunction it is when
you're in one of those big comfychairs with your bestie or maybe
not your bestie, but you're in one of those big comfy chairs
(10:48):
together. One of you moves the other one
feels that you're operating as asingle BLOB in that chair.
You do not like get to do something without the other
person feeling it and vice versa.
And so that's why it is that concentrated energy because from
a distance there is just one being in that chair, but it's
actually two people that are sitting squished together.
So that's what that conjunction is.
(11:09):
And so when we have, you know, Jupiter and Venus together, when
they are sitting next to each other, that is a lot of positive
energy. That's a lot of, you know,
creative and abundant and, and joyful energy that is sitting
right next to each other. So we do have in general in a
conjunction, many positive traits there.
(11:31):
We do have some, you know, wherewe might have to work on
overindulgent traits as well because it's so concentrated.
But in general, when we have these two relatively positive or
very positive planets that are right next to each other in a
conjunction, this shows up in someones chart.
If this is you, if you've got your Venus and Jupiter conjunct
(11:53):
in your chart, I feel like you are a very attractive person
both in like a, you know, in a energy, but in visual as well,
because Venus is ruling beauty. And then we have like abundance
and luck with Jupiter, but also Venus is is Jupiter is a social
planet, but Venus is also a way in which we express ourselves
(12:17):
socially because it's how we're interacting in our relationship.
So very popular, very social andjust an overall positive energy
if you have this in your Natal chart.
Yeah, I think how these planets come together like a way in
which they, what they have in common is this element of
generosity. And I was gonna say animosity, I
(12:37):
mean amicability. Like there's just a general
friendliness and sense of harmony that you get from
somebody who's Venus dominant orJupiter dominant.
They're a generous person, they're kind, they're fun,
they're optimistic. They could be larger than life.
And so having this conjunct in your Natal chart, I would say
this is someone who creates, whocreates from a larger than life
(13:01):
perspective, who has a very large creative pursuits, that
has grandiose thinking about relationships, which can go
either way. That could be extremely romantic
and have really high expectations and standards of
what they want from a relationship.
Or it can mean that they have this constant like grass is
greener mentality when it comes to their relationships as well.
(13:25):
So there's kind of to, it's a double edged sword where it
could be a really positive or itcould also be what deters you.
A conjunction is to me a neutralaspect where we have positive
aspects like the sextal and the trine, and then we have more
tense aspects like the opposition and the square.
A conjunction is just. This is what happens when to
(13:45):
become one, you know. So.
I think that when Venus and Jupiter come together, there's
these really positive aspects, like what you said, being
extremely charming, very likable, having such a positive
mentality. And then we have the negatives,
which are being maybe overindulgent and not being
present in what you have right now because you're constantly
(14:06):
seeking the next high, the next rush, like Jupiter says.
And where they differ from one another, what they don't have in
common is that Venus has a, a sense of balance or like, or a
desire to find balance where Jupiter has a constant seeking
for the next thing. So they're sort of maybe when
(14:27):
they are interacting with one another, depending on what sign
they're in, a sense of unrest because it's wait, I really want
to find balance in this thing, but then I also really want to
set my sights for another thing. So there could be this lesson
that I think somebody with this in their Natal chart has to
learn, which is creating a foundation and making that
(14:50):
foundation solid the way that Venus wants it to be, and
finding that balance and then working off of that like nicely
formed foundation to jump to thenext point.
Whereas Jupiter might just be like, yeah, that's good enough.
It'll hold me while I leap to the next thing.
But Venus wants you, wants it tohold its structure when you do
(15:11):
jump to the next thing. So I think that's where they
kind of don't what they don't have in common.
Yeah, and thinking of how it canbe that double edged sword in a
couple of different categories, because when you think of
Jupiter being luck and abundanceand Venus dealing with personal
finances and you know, your yourmoney and how that could show up
(15:33):
as being wow, you are a very financially abundant lucky
person. You know, maybe like your whole
life, you've like, that's something that like you've just
had money, you've just had success in in work areas of your
life. Your finances are really great
and that that luck and you know, abundant part of Jupiter meshes
(15:53):
really well with that Venus withthe personal finances and your
values and everything. Or you could have it be I am a
risk taker, which is very Jupiterian and I'm risky with my
finances because they are one inthe same.
I love gambling like Jupiter is a gambly planet because it's.
Like indulging in impulsive choices.
(16:16):
Exactly. So this could and you know what
both of those things could be true too.
You could be somebody who's super abundant and financially
like, you know, wealthy, but then you also squander a lot of
that because you're constantly, you know, taking risks or
putting in money to, you know, buying a lot of excess because
that's what Jupiter loves. So they can both be true.
(16:39):
And that can be the case in relationships too, where you
could be very lucky in love, butthen you also take advantage of
it and you take risks in your love life, you know, based off
of the impulsive desire that youhave in that moment.
Yeah. And also I think of this being
such a, a positive energy together, but I could also see
it being anti confrontational ina way that Venus wants
(17:04):
everything to be harmonious and Jupiter wants everything to be
fun. And there might be a well that's
not fun that doesn't make me feel good.
These are both feel good planets.
And so it could just show up as I just feel good, or it could
show up as I will avoid everything that does not make me
(17:25):
feel good. Yeah, it really depends what
sign they're in, you know, cuz if this is in Libra, then
actually they're going to be really good about yeah they're
going to be anti confrontational, but that
doesn't mean they're not going to get things achieved or like
have the conversations with a diplomatic and mediating
attitude. Whereas say, if this is in
Scorpio, a Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio, they're likely to hold
(17:48):
things in and potentially resent, but still have like a
positive demeanor about darker things.
You know, So it, I think if say this is in Jupiter or sorry, in
Sagittarius or in Pisces, we're going to have just like a super
Jupiterian effect here where they're super optimistic, very
heavy in faith, very kind, generous, all about connecting.
(18:13):
But if we put this in another sign like Aquarius, they're
going to be extremely fortunate in maybe their friendships.
Maybe it's not about romantic love, you know, maybe they're
going to be extremely fortunate in their ideas, bringing them
financial abundance. And another thing that these two
planets, what I think would really show as a native with
(18:35):
them conjunct one another is a sense of self.
And I mean that in the way that Venus is your sense of self
worth and your values, and then Jupiter is your philosophical
morals and ethics. So there's a real strong sense
of personal truth if you have Venus and Jupiter conjunct one
(18:56):
another. And there's always going to be a
a big air of confidence with somebody who has these two
conjunct one another, especiallydepending on the sign and house
that they're in in their chart. I really like that sense of self
because oh, it just just go listen to our Jupiter episode.
I was about to repeat a lot of things, but yes, listen to to
(19:17):
that Jupiter episode and also, yeah, self worth with Venus.
It is like we always think love with Venus first and foremost.
And yes, absolutely, that is a massive component of Venus, but
it's so much more than that. And I really like that sense of
self that comes together with those two.
And I guess the last thing that I would put on if you have this
(19:38):
as, as a Natal placement is depending on again, the sign and
the house and everything. And there could be some greed
that comes in there of wanting everything to, you know, I want
my finances, I want my creativity.
I want more because Jupiter moreis more is more is more.
So it's constantly seeking. Venus can be materialistic.
(20:01):
Yes. So I could see there being a
greedy nature and depending on what sign it's in, you know,
maybe it is in like I'm just thinking if it's in something
like Virgo, it could be like so much giving, you know, so much
service to others because that is what they value.
But if it's in Leo, you know, that's something that's a lot
(20:23):
more about the self, about the ego, and that's going to show up
totally differently. So again, always depends on the
sign, but those are just many examples of how they could show
up if they are conjunct. Yeah.
And then in a transit, so for anybody who's more of a
beginner, transits are looking at the planets in the sky
currently and how they relate tothe chart that we know as your
(20:44):
Natal chart as who you are. So I feel like there right there
are two ways to look at this. There's when transiting Jupiter
forms a conjunction to your Natal Venus, and then when
transiting Venus forms a conjunction to your Natal
Jupiter. And I think that when Jupiter is
conjoining with your Natal Venus, this is a time where you
have like a sudden burst of fortune in your relationships.
(21:06):
Maybe money comes in. Maybe there's a big lesson you
learn that expands your sense ofself worth or your what you
value most. This is opportunity coming in
for you to be able to feel more value added to your life through
either relationships, finances, your possessions, your creative
(21:27):
endeavors. This is just like a door opening
and opportunity really asking you to be to seize it.
Yeah, yeah. And it like, I mean, this could
be a moment where you you could literally hit the jackpot.
Like that just feels like, so you know, it is that luck money
coming in or it could be a moment where you meet somebody
(21:50):
and this is like, you know, I had a faded meeting because like
Venus is all about relationshipsand Jupiter is all about luck.
And to have that luck and expansion, Passover, your Venus,
which is all that you know, or it could be a moment too, where
you have like a breakthrough of,you know, I feel.
Breakthrough Energy. Yeah, I think that, you know,
(22:10):
all of us who are into astrologytend to be on that one form or
another on a self love discoveryjourney.
And there is always that moment of like, wait a minute, I am
awesome. You know, like there, there's
that moment that I feel like that is when Jupiter passes over
Venus where it's like, look at all that is you and how amazing
that is and it just lights it upso.
(22:33):
Yeah, Jupiter being a planet of personal growth, then hitting
this personal planet of self worth and your personal values
like this is absolutely an opportunity for you to learn
something about yourself and maybe to get out of your own
way. Because say this isn't an Earth
sign. Say it's in Venus or in Taurus
or Virgo or Capricorn. It's asking you to, to open your
(22:57):
eyes a little bit and see the other side that could be
greener, you know, whereas if this isn't an air sign and it's
hey, maybe there's a new narrative that you need to adopt
in your everyday kind of self talk, stuff like that.
So it's very much like, Hey, let's open up the way that
you're thinking about this. And then in the other way, if
(23:18):
transiting Venus forms a conjunction to your Natal
Jupiter, I feel like this is more, instead of being like,
Hey, crack open and see what's out there, it's more like, Hey,
settle down and see what you have.
Notice what abundance you already have.
Embody your philosophies in lifealready.
Really take stock and value the lessons that you have learned
(23:40):
throughout life and the ways in which you've already expanded
and gain a sense of groundednessfrom that growth.
I was going to say this feels like a moment of a really
positive learning opportunity. Like a really, you know,
something happens that in general, I want to say it's a
positive event that really maybesolidifies something that you
(24:02):
deeply care about because Jupiter is that self belief and
trust and morals and just like, you know, faith.
And then when something, when Venus comes in with that energy
of value and of, of love, you know, and passes over and it
(24:23):
just brings it into the foreground of, wow, this is
something that I really care about.
This is something I believe in. There's some there's a moment of
like I or maybe a renewed faith in in, in something you really
believe in. I love that you said solidifying
because it does feel like something very tangible could
come in to solidify your sense of optimism and faith.
(24:45):
Yeah. I love that.
I love that. Yes.
Yeah. And then in sinistry, say if
somebody's Venus is conjuncture Jupiter or their Jupiter is
conjuncture Venus, how do you view this?
I feel like in general I'd be like, oh amazing, I love that.
Yeah, just cheerleading. Yeah.
Like you guys are just really working together.
And there's something about, hey, how you give and receive
(25:08):
love aligns with the way I valueand like my faith in the world.
There's just something about howmy personal philosophies align
with the way that makes you feelloved and things that you value.
Like hell yeah. I don't really see a lot of I
don't, I don't see a lot of the flip side of the coin with this
in a sinistry. I just feel like it's there's.
(25:32):
Sure it well, maybe someone goads the other one on a little,
you know, like maybe the Jupiteris goading on the Venus who's a
little more reserved or more grounded and the Jupiter's like,
Nah, come on, let's go do something crazy, whereas the
Venus is like, hey, let's get grounded and let's really
appreciate where we're at. But I I agree.
I don't see any sort of negatives with this besides just
(25:54):
that like grandiosity, like thatbig thinking.
But even then, as long as it's, you know, finding the this
temperance between the two, it'slike so inspiring and such a
great way to relate to one another in a romantic way, but
also I think really solid friendship.
Yeah, I think that like, it might feel, it could feel like,
(26:16):
Oh my gosh, this is a whirlwind.Like this person came in and
like suddenly I'm like, you know, head over heels with them
or I've instant besties. But I feel like Jupiter and
Venus have the energy to sustainit that it isn't just a, you
know, maybe if it's an Aries, itwould burn out faster, you know,
just because it's like a quick, you know, it does depend on
other things. But I still think that, you
(26:37):
know, in general, you have somebody who's Venus is conjunct
you're Jupiter or vice versa. I think that's a beautiful
energy to come together and there's some sort of shared
values and and just belief system that really brings a
relatability between the two of you.
Yeah, I would say this is overall like a, a very positive,
maybe a little fuck boyish energy, you know, like maybe it
(26:59):
is a little impulsive in some ways.
But if you're seeking a long standing relationship with
somebody and this is your sinistry, just because I'm me
and I I want to give a well-rounded description.
Like maybe the tension could come from if your Venuses aren't
compatible with another. Like say someone's Venus is in
Libra and the other one's Venus is in, I don't know, something
(27:21):
else. I don't know.
My gosh, Mimi, you're in a charger.
I'm like, I don't. Know yeah, OK, sure.
Like the ways in which you relate and offer love are very
different. But if your Jupiter is conjunct
that person's Venus, your life lessons, your ways of growing
personally are going to come from the way that this person
loves or offers care and relatesto you.
(27:43):
So, you know, even if your Venuses don't operate in the
same way, maybe that's where there can be a little bit of
tension of like, you're pushing me to grow right now and that's
a lot. And maybe I just wanna be able
to give and receive love the waythat I want.
Maybe that's the only way that Icould see some tension there.
Yeah, there would be like other factors in your chart exactly.
(28:04):
Yeah, Yeah, that would be interacting, but.
So the conjunction is always thelongest because we're discussing
the two planets and how they connect with one another.
So now we're going to get into the next two categories, which
are positive aspects, the sextaland the trine, and then we'll
talk about oppositions and squares, the more tense aspects.
So sextal and trine essentially,if you you can have these out of
(28:26):
sign, but basically a trine is when it is signs that are in the
same element. So let's give air for example,
we have Libra, Aquarius, Gemini. If you've got Jupiter in Libra
and you also have Venus in Gemini, they are trying one
another because they are in thatall within the same element.
(28:47):
It works for all the elements. And then sextal is when they are
in quote UN quote compatible elements.
So meaning it is air to fire andEarth to water.
And these can exist outside of signs, outside of elements, but
that's just the most basic way to explain them.
And so a sextal is essentially when you're kind of like looking
to the side and shaking hands with that sign that is
(29:09):
compatible with you. It is a tiny of a head movement,
but we have easy access. We are shaking hands.
It's a very positive aspect because we are so close to one
another. We understand each other.
I speak fire, you speak air, butwe both speak fire and air
together. We can understand one another or
earth and water, same thing. And then trying is we don't even
(29:29):
have to turn heads. We are just within flow.
There is no energy needed for that language to be spoken.
It is no effort energy that's going between those.
So there's positives and you know, less positives for both
trine and sextal, but in generalthese are very positive aspects
because they understand one another so well and also they're
(29:51):
not crammed in that chair together.
They are having really flowing conversation with one another
and able to make eye contact. Yeah.
And just one thing to clarify with sextile, it's not any, you
know, if your Venus is in Cancer, it doesn't mean that if
your Jupiter is in any of the Earth signs that it's going to
be in sextile. They're the Earth signs directly
(30:13):
next to Cancer. So that would be Taurus and
Virgo. So generally, if we're looking
at the 360° wheel, it's a sextile is 1/6 of that, it's 60°
away. So the compatible elements on
either side of that original sign.
Yes, we need to be able to shakehands.
Yes, exactly. So these are positive aspects.
(30:33):
A trine is one that has a littlebit more ease of flow because
they're looking at each other from across the room.
They have a really good visual on one another.
They're moving energy between one another really easily.
So it's almost sometimes an energy that we take advantage of
because we don't recognize without having to put in effort
just how fortunate we are to have that ease of flow.
Whereas sexto, there's more of an opportunity that we have to
(30:55):
seize because they are, you know, not directly looking at
each other in this in the room. They have to turn their heads a
little bit, they have to shake hands and they have to agree
upon the terms of the opportunity.
So a sextal is there's a little bit more work and you have to be
able to see the opportunity in order to take it.
Whereas a trine is like it's effortless opportunity and ease.
(31:17):
And with the sextal, there is something about it that does
like, like you said, you have totake advantage of that trying
energy because it's easy to be unaware of it, because how easy
it flows. And so that's why sexual energy
is beautiful in the way of people are so aware when you are
shaking hands with one another. We both reached in, we both have
that solid shake. We are both on board here.
(31:39):
So when you have that sex still and you're making it work to
your advantage, it is so satisfying that both parties are
present for it. Whereas the trying, even though
we don't have to do anything, there's no handshake needed.
If we're unaware of it, then we're not even taking advantage
of it. So both very positive, but in
(31:59):
their ways of you know, when youknow the difference in the
energies, you can use them to their best advantage.
Yeah, so if we're talking more specifically, like a Venus in
Cancer and a Jupiter in Pisces, these two are in water signs.
They're in a shrine to one another.
Your ability to take care of others and nurture with that,
(32:21):
Venus in Cancer works so well with your sense of faith in a
sense of community and oneness and unity.
There's a general agreeance withemotions and with collective
energy, with taking care of one another and being emotionally
available. Yeah, yeah.
(32:42):
It's like you just get it. There's just like you get it
because you're both speaking water, you're both speaking
Earth, you're both speaking whatever it is there.
Is this really, and this is within yourself or within, you
know, you're interacting with other people, But if you have
that Jupiter and Venus that are in that trine there, I feel like
(33:03):
there's also just such a creative flow that's happening
there because you're existing inthis very creative space and
then you're able to share it andexpress it and emote it in this
like I don't just do this art. I, I live by this art, you know,
(33:24):
because that's such a principal way of Jupiter or, you know,
whatever it is that you are valuing in that Venus, you, you
value it, but then you also stand by that principle in your
Jupiter way. Just naturally they just exist
in a really but but with different signs so that it's a
little more noticeable than if they were conjunct.
(33:48):
There's also an element of influence with these two planets
because anyone who's Venus prominent is somebody who
throughout their life, their relationships are, are a source
for them. They're a resource for them.
And then you have Jupiter, whichis this planet of expansion, of
broadcasting of life lessons. So there's an element of
influentialism, like if you havethese two planets in sex cell or
(34:14):
trying to one another in your Natal chart, you have influence.
And I also think that education as a form of career could be
definitely prominent because Venus being our finances, how we
make money, being affected by Jupiter makes a lot of sense.
You know, Jupiter is, and even if it's not conventional, like
(34:34):
working in a school, it could bebeing influential to others in
teaching them, you know, any sort of life skill or
philosophy. I love that you say this so much
because this was the one where Irealized that I have this loose
aspect. And not only was I an educator,
but and like, you know, went through undergrad and grad
(34:55):
school and was a teacher in like2 different countries.
And like now is doing a podcast that is dealing with
broadcasting and influencing andeverything that you just said.
But like my, my Venus is at 5° Sagittarius and my Jupiter is at
13° Leo. And so I have a 8° trying that's
happening with those. But everything that you just
(35:15):
said, I just related to so hardcore.
But also this was the one where I when I was writing out some
notes, I was like, this would belike overindulgent energy and
maybe like difficulties with moderation.
And I just started laughing to myself and I was like, is this
my placement? Oh Yep, this is.
Yep, here it is. Yeah, I could definitely see the
overindulgence with and yeah, needing to learn how to moderate
(35:37):
their spending or moderate maybethey're eating something like
that because there is just this effortlessness, especially with
a trine. But with the sextal as well,
when they just operate In Sync with one another, we might just
our norm is to indulge. It's like, it just feels like
Jupiter and Venus being like thebenefic besties and being like,
(35:58):
should we, should we get like, should we get ice cream?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we should get ice cream.
We love ice cream. Let's get some ice cream that
tastes so good. Like why would we?
Why would we do something that we don't love?
Like we, we love this. So we do this, obviously, yeah.
And this is true also for being so social.
Like this is someone with a sexual or tribe between their
Venus and Jupiter, or is someonewho's just naturally so social
(36:21):
and often may overextend themselves in these
relationships. What?
Yeah. What?
Yeah, who would do something like that?
Yeah, can confirm. Can confirm.
But but also, yeah, this is justa very cheerful, optimistic and
very giving nature too. I feel like this is, you know,
(36:45):
there is the expansion, expansive nature of Jupiter and
then there is this loving natureof Venus that I could see when
they're just working so well because since there's, you know,
not any difficult aspect here and they love to feel good.
This these two energies love to feel good that it's just a
(37:07):
naturally overflowing of especially because they're both
dealing with social energies of wanting others around them to
feel good. I want you to feel good.
I want you to eat the ice cream with me and then we'll both feel
good. There is this like inclusive
energy between Venus and Jupiterthat has this social
connectedness. That would be, I think, very
giving if you have this interaction in your chart.
(37:31):
Yeah, I agree. And then in transit, I mean, I
feel like every time we do an aspect episode, we're like, we
don't really pay attention to sex tools that much in transit.
But it's just because there's somuch going on in astrology
constantly that it's like we can't pay attention to all of
these things. But if something prominent
happens and there is a sextal, we could definitely point
towards that. But I think if transiting Venus
(37:54):
is trying your Natal Jupiter or transiting Jupiter is trying in
your Natal Venus, again, it's all the positive qualities that
we talked about with the conjunction, right?
It's all this ease of energy in the positive delineations of
both of these planets. And it is something to take note
of that these energies will be happening and you might not even
(38:17):
be aware of it. So if you are someone who pays
attention to transits or you'd like to and want to join us on
Patreon because we go over thosetransits, It's then AOI have
this project that I've been wanting to do and Venus is going
to be trying my Jupiter and thiswould be a great time for me to
yes, to really bring that like to bring something I value to
(38:39):
bring something that I want to, you know, share and broadcast
with the world. Let me do it during this time
because the energies will be flowing without me even
realizing it. And so that awareness can be
really powerful. And it's, it's more, I feel like
these are the two aspects like upon retrospect, where you're
like, that was a really good time in my life.
(38:59):
Of course, Jupiter was trying myVenus or, you know, Jupiter was
sex still my Venus. Like those are the kind of
things where I don't pay. I would pay attention to the
trine more than I would the sex still, but I would watch out for
that coming up because that would be a great time to take
advantage of. Yeah, and with Jupiter, you can
be aware of when it's going to happen for quite a while because
(39:22):
Jupiter operates much slower than Venus.
You know Jupiter takes an entireyear in a sign, whereas Venus
takes about 5 to 6 weeks in a sign.
Yeah, absolutely. And then for this industry, I
mean, I would say. Again, it's all those positive
qualities that we talked about with the conjunction.
It's inspiring action. It's inspiring a sense of
(39:44):
togetherness when it comes to your values and your morals and
your ethics and pushing each other to grow or pushing each
other to recognize what you already have.
Yes, and I think that there's less of the.
Gratitude between these two planets that I just love.
Such a good word, yes. Oh, there's such such gratitude.
(40:06):
Just being because there is a anunderstanding of shared values
and knowing that the other person gets it.
And I feel like with sexals and trines, you have more of the
positive qualities than not because they aren't bumping
elbows. So we don't have that friction
(40:27):
that could happen with a conjunction.
In Sinistry, the trine is very much that like, oh, you just get
it, but you're still offering something a little bit
different. Like if we go back to that
Cancer Pisces example, like say somebody'd Venus is in Cancer
and they're just getting really like bogged down in constantly
taking initiative and constantlynurturing everybody else.
(40:50):
The person with Jupiter and Pisces, it's understanding where
that Venus and Cancer is coming from because it's also got that
shared water. But it's looking at a larger
perspective and saying, hey, youdon't have to be so concerned
about taking care of this one thing in a really good way.
Like why don't we connect with the universe and really see what
it is that we're grateful for and like see how much you are
(41:11):
doing. They offer a perspective that's
complementary to one another without being the exact same.
Complementary is key. Yes, it is understanding, it's
able to communicate very clearly, but it's not exactly
the same. And so we get enough of a shift
in that positive way that just it like amplifies the positive
(41:34):
qualities on both. Sides, yeah.
Whereas that, you know, same example, but in a sex doll.
If somebody's Venus is in Cancer, maybe they're getting
really overwhelmed by the constant pressure to provide and
take care of others in emotionalways.
I mean, either a Jupiter in Virgo or Jupiter in Taurus is
going to be like, hey, why don'twe pause for a minute?
I'm giving you this opportunity to ground, to get in touch with
(41:56):
yourself and to get defrazzled alittle bit.
Like again, it's complementary and it's able to communicate in
this still very divine feminine way, like water and Earth share
with one another, but offering avery different perspective.
Yeah, yeah, I, I really love these interactions.
And I feel like if you have thattrine, it's effortless.
(42:19):
If you have that sextal, it's it's beautiful.
Yeah, yeah. It's just opportunity to work
together. Absolutely.
And then we move on to opposition and square.
And so kind of the opposition speaks for itself.
It's the opposite side. So if if you have this like one
(42:40):
side of this is in water, the other one will be in Earth.
If you have this in fire, the other one will be in air.
But instead of that sexual energy, it's the directly
opposite. And so you have a lot in common,
but you also see the exact opposite perspectives.
And so this will also be the same mode.
You will either have a fixed Venus and a fixed Jupiter,
(43:03):
cardinal, mutable, whatever you know, it is the same mode and A
compatible element, whereas square is the same mode but a
incompatible element. So it would be having fire and
water or fire and Earth and and so you have those energies that
are the same mode, but then we've got kind of conflicting
(43:26):
elements coming in. Yeah.
And if we're looking at that 360° wheel in opposition is
going to be half of that, it's 180°, and a square is going to
be 1/4 of that, which is 90°. So if you don't know modalities
and elements, I mean, we have anepisode on it, go check it out,
of course. But if that kind of overwhelms
you because you're not certain what modes and elements are yet,
(43:47):
just look at the shapes that these planets are making to one
another. And this is one that I have like
a personal experience with because not only do I have a
Venus, Jupiter opposition exactly, they are both at 12° of
opposing signs. They are also the first planets
that indicate anything in my chart.
(44:07):
So basically in my circle chart,if you look at the circle chart,
all of my planets are on 1/2 of the chart.
And Venus and Jupiter are the leading planets on on both sides
of that. What we call a bold chart in
astrology. And so for me, not only do I
have this very strong exact opposition, but they're the
(44:27):
leading planets in my chart. And it took me a really long
time to understand what that meant.
So my example is I've got Venus and Taurus, and then exactly
opposite that, I've got Jupiter and Scorpio.
And the way that I've seen that play out in my life is my
personal ability to, and it's inmy 10th house.
(44:48):
Venus is in my 10th house, whichis the House of career, of
providing, of social standing, reputation, of responsibility.
So my personal ability to achieve a lot in my career has
given opportunity for me to havepersonal growth in Scorpionic
themes like deep personal healing in the 4th House of
(45:10):
home, family and my inner world. So while they don't really have
anything to do with one another, other, they're operating almost
like on a seesaw where one's actions do affect the others.
The consequences, for lack of a better term.
But consequences sound so negative.
It's just cause and effect essentially, where one thing
(45:31):
something happens with one planet, the other planets going
to be affected even if they seemlike they're not connected to
one another. I love the seesaw imagery.
I always give the tug of war imagery but I love the seesaw
because it feels a lot less like.
Combative. Yeah, yeah.
It's just, it's that's what happens.
(45:52):
Car side goes up, mine goes down.
Like that's what the nature of this is.
And we are connected on that same board exactly opposite one
another. I really like that cause and
effect energy of that. And so I feel like once again,
like we mentioned with it being Jupiter and Venus, there isn't
(46:13):
so much of that that that like more challenging side of like
opposition and square as you would if it was different
planets. So I feel like even if it is the
seesaw effect, there is still this beauty, there is still this
care and value and principle that comes together.
(46:33):
Okay, mentality. Yeah, it is.
And it's not the same as some ofthe more positive, easier
flowing aspects that we have, but it's a direct correlation.
And so as I grow and change in my values, my principles, my, my
education, my, you know, personal truths are growing and
(46:56):
changing as well, because it's cause and effect.
That is really such a good way of seeing it.
It's that cause and effect, which also, you know, the
creative energies of Venus and the very like, you know, kind of
public, more social energy of Jupiter can turn into, you know,
(47:17):
my creative nature could turn into my work could turn into my
career. And we so see that with you,
especially in your the IT is in your 10th house, which makes it
extra potent. But you have turned your hobbies
into careers like you are just the prime example.
Of it personal healing into my career, you know, like my and
(47:37):
then it kind of flipped where itwasn't so much Jupiter was
creating something that my Venuscould work off of.
Now my Venus has created this very strong work that now
supports my Jupiter life lesson of death and rebirth and
transformation of my inner world, which is Jupiter in
Scorpio in the 4th house. So it's sort of like, OK, which
(48:00):
one is taking the leadership role right now?
And I will say like I'm quite lucky because Venus is in its
own sign of Taurus and Jupiter is quite happy in the sign of
Scorpio as we will get into too very, very soon.
And you'll get to listen all about it.
So they're in quite positive placements and they're both very
positive planets, which is good. But you know, there's like this
(48:24):
constant, OK, which one is goingto be taking the lead so that
the other one can have this opportunity to grow?
Yeah. And there could also be just the
fact that they see things from the opposite sides, and we're
dealing with values on the Venusside and morals on the Jupiter
side. That could be conflicting.
It could be one of those things where you're like, I value, you
(48:48):
know? Yeah.
You're a walking contradiction. Yeah, it it can really come
across as that walking contradiction of something.
Like in my relationships, I value freedom.
But like by principle, I only want to be in a committed
one-on-one relationship. You know what I mean?
Like there's something where like you or it could be in your
(49:09):
creative pursuits, you know, like this is the art that I do.
But then the, you know, the way in which I see it show up in the
world around me in politics and everything doesn't totally align
with what it is that I'm doing personally.
There is this contradictory energy between them.
What I like about the oppositionversus the square, which we'll
(49:30):
get to the square in a moment, is that because both of these
planets are benefits, it's almost like, hey, you get that
side, I'll get this side, we gotthis.
There's a well roundedness to itbecause they're operating on the
same spectrum, right? And then they can face each
other and be like, hey, how's your side going?
Hey, mine's going. All right, how's your side
going? OK, great.
Let's keep working on our sides because they're on that opposite
spectrum of the same, you know, they're on opposite sides of the
(49:53):
same spectrum, whereas a square is they are operating on a
completely different spectrum from one another.
There is a bit more of a challenge where we are going to
get more of those negative connotations that we were
discussing, you know, when we discussed just the two planets,
what they do and don't have in common.
Where there's going to be more grandiose thinking, more
grasses, greener mentality, moreimpulsive decision making.
(50:18):
You know, less being in the moment and more seeking
constantly or less taking risks and seeking what you want out of
life and more just like staying put and having your your ground
beneath you be all that you set your sights out for.
I also realized that you and I have this because your Venus is
(50:38):
12° Taurus and my Jupiter is 13°Leo.
So you and I. Have this.
Yeah. Which is very, I mean, clearly
it can work out, guys. Yeah, for sure.
Oh I'm really. I'm now trying to rack my brain
like how I see that. Because we've got fixed, we've
(50:59):
got a fixed square going on. So thinking if you're going back
to Mimi's example, it's like 1/4of that circle chart.
You know, we've got my V, sorry,my Jupiter in fixed fire and
your Venus in fixed Earth. And, and we, that's why the
whole chart counts though, because we both by nature have
(51:22):
so much fire and earth in our charts that our fire and earth
has a lot of other ways that we're interacting with each
other too. Like your Taurus speaks to my
Capricorn, my Leo speaks to yourAries.
You know, so like it's, there's so many other things that are
softening the square. Yeah, absolutely.
But I literally just thought of an example from an hour ago
(51:42):
where you were like, hey, maybe it'll help if you dream.
And I was like, no, because there's nothing I can do.
There's no action and it's not real.
Like literally just happened an hour ago.
You're. Literally an hour ago.
Have fun and dream and I'm like cuz dreaming hurts you.
Literally said it's too painful to dream and I was like OK,
we're gonna we're just. But that was when.
(52:02):
Authentic to both of us. And then yeah, at the same time,
it's like my Venus and Taurus islike, no, I need something
tangible in moments where you'relike, let's just celebrate who
we are. And I'm like, yeah, I need
something a little bit more talent tangible.
But at the same time, though, we, like you said, we have so
much else going on in our chartsthat we didn't even know about
the square until. This moment.
(52:22):
We have so many other things going on that soften it because
your Jupiter and Leo works greatwith my fire placements and my
Venus and Taurus works great with your Earth placement.
So again, it really does depend, like if this is the main aspect
between you and somebody else's chart, then yeah, maybe you'll
see that tension a little bit more.
But if you've got a lot of otherstuff going on, if these two
(52:45):
planets that are the most positive planets are interacting
with one another in this negative square, it might not be
as dire as, say, if it were Saturn square Mars.
Yeah, that would be different. And if that's you, you'll be OK,
but it won't be the same as if it was meters and Jupiter.
(53:05):
I'm pretty sure my Saturn is square.
You're Mars. Not by degree.
Not by degree though. Guys, it can work out, but like
also thinking of the example of the two of us.
So let's say you have that in your Natal chart, though, like
this is me, me and I interacting.
And that was the conversation wehad an hour ago where I'm like
dream and you're like, it's paintball.
(53:26):
And I was like, well, like I, mybrain was like, how can I give
her a different way of dreaming? And we did.
We came together on a different way of like it was a tangible
way. It was dreaming.
Yeah, exactly. We found that.
Like, you know the, the point where the square comes together,
we found it. But like, if you have this in
your own Natal chart, if you have Venus in Taurus and then
(53:49):
Jupiter in Leo, then you might have that interaction with
yourself of like, I just want todream big and imagine.
But Oh my gosh, it's too painfulto do that.
There is. AI mean I wouldn't say Venus and
Taurus is like it's painful to dream but maybe you know if you
have. Jupiter I need tangible.
I want to dream. I want to dream and Venus and
Taurus. Like, yeah, we can dream, but we
(54:11):
have to see the, you know, the rewards or we need to see the
effect of my work, you know, there.
It's not just for nothing. We need tangible something to
back it behind it. Then there's like there is a
friction, but nothing new gets built without friction.
(54:31):
And so that's why squares are challenging.
But they always like, especiallyfor, you know, the self aware
people listening to this, you know, they always make that if
it's like sanding wood, it creates a new shape afterwards
and there's something new and different that comes from it
that never could have if we didn't have that moment of
friction. So, you know, you, I feel like
(54:52):
this can be creatively motivated.
It could be hard to harness thatmotivation if this idea is
conflicting with this idea, if we've got values conflicting
with morals, if we've got comfort conflicting with
expansion, you know, we, we might have difficulty harnessing
that motivation. But at the same time, once we
start like rubbing that like, you know, wood to make fire, it
(55:16):
can create fire because that friction does bring something
exciting. Yeah, and I think similarly in
transits, if Jupiter is in a square to your Natal Venus, you
feel that push, right? You feel that spark.
Whereas if Venus is pushing youror squaring your Natal Jupiter,
it's almost like, hey, slow down, slow down, create the
foundation. Don't forget about that
(55:37):
foundation that needs to be built, but then you can leap
safely off of. Yes, and I think when, like we
said, with just, you know, interacting and sinistry, if
this is the major thing, you're going to feel it.
You're going to feel that square.
But you also could have a lot ofother supportive planets that
are going to soften it and then realize years into a friendship.
(55:59):
Oh shit, yeah, we we've got this.
We have this. And that's why we do the
podcast. But again, it's Jupiter and
Venus. It's it's going to be softer
than any other opposition and square that you're going to feel
with other planets so. So it's a lot of ground covered
(56:22):
because we're not just discussing one planet, we're
discussing 2 planets, you know, overviews and then how they come
together and then also how they interact in very specific
aspects. So if you feel a little
overwhelmed by information, totally fine.
If you've learned some new vocab, we have episodes for all
the vocab you learned. We have aspects episodes.
(56:42):
We have episodes on the planets in your chart.
So definitely go check them out if you're interested in learning
more about Venus, about Jupiter, about squares, conjunctions,
etcetera. If you're interested in learning
more specific things about your chart and want to chat about it,
definitely check us out on Patreon and then we can interact
(57:03):
with you in a more personal way.And if any, and just interacting
with us on these episodes, whether that's commenting on
Spotify, on YouTube about what other aspects you'd be
interested in doing. That's also good information for
us to, you know, lock away for afuture aspect episode because we
like getting to provide some more, you know, insights and
information that's going to be useful to everybody listening.
(57:24):
And let us know if you do have this in your own chart, if you
have this with somebody else, and if that, if you know what
we've described has accurate to how it's shown up for you.
If you have anything that a great example of how that sextal
you know Venus and Jupiter showsup in your own life, We are open
to hearing it and appreciate your interaction.
(57:45):
So thank you so much for listening, everyone.
And Sierra, why did we talk about Venus and Jupiter today?
Because the stars made us do it.
