(00:10):
The stars made me do it. Welcome back to the Stars Made
Me Do It and happy Scorpio season everybody.
Happy, not doom and gloom Scorpio season.
Scorpio season. It's like, I don't know all the
Scorpio placements out there listening, you know, You know,

(00:34):
that's Scorpio's an astrology. It just makes sense every single
year. When we asked like, oh, how do
you feel about Scorpio season? I'm like, it feels so good.
I get to really like live in my inner world.
It's my 4th house. I've got Scorpio placements that
I feel like really get to shine. And then when I reflect back,
like Scorpio season is actually usually the most depressing time

(00:54):
of year for me. But actually it's not so much
that it's depressing, it's actually, and it's funny because
it's going to come up in today'sepisode when we talk about
Jupiter and Scorpio, which is what I have.
Like Pisces season is more depressing for me, but Scorpio
season is intense and dark. Almost every single year there
is an intense theme that I have to take on and handle and deal

(01:15):
with and like, really navigate big, big emotions, kind of
depressing emotions, but moving through it rather than just
feeling like you're drowning in it.
Like not sitting in that in the same way that like Pisces season
for you might be just like existing in it more like there's
some there's there's movement and depth.
Yeah, Pisces through I'm underneath the water, I feel a

(01:38):
little bit like I'm drowning, whereas Scorpio season is like I
am swimming through this water with like force.
Yeah. Oh, that's, that's an
interesting reflection. Like when you're going into it
like, yeah, inner world. And then actually, well, it's
always. Such it is always a healing time
and I'm always looking forward to that 4th house activation
because it just feels so much like, OK, we get to really look

(02:02):
at what's going on underneath the surface and get to grow from
that and heal from that. And that's something to look
forward to. But that obviously means
bringing up difficulties that need to be worked through.
Yeah, absolutely. Scorpio season for me, I mean,
maybe it's a little bit of the same because I love that the
witchiness gets turned on duringa Scorpio season.

(02:24):
I love that it's a lot of inner world time, but it feels very
magical, you know, veilous thin vibes.
Like I really appreciate that element of Scorpio season, but
also like last Scorpio season for me was the beginning of the
end of my old life. Like this past year has been

(02:48):
like I was thinking about one year ago today, I was talking to
a friend who was like in France a year ago and I was like, my
life looks 0% like what my life looked like a year ago.
And it was the Scorpio new moon that really just like solidified
the beginning of that end for me.
And so I feel like transformation absolutely.

(03:09):
Like you said, that just really is such a theme for Scorpio
season. But I mean, yeah, we'll see you.
We'll see this year. I don't think it's that way
every time, but I or maybe like there's a different type of
transformation every time. Yeah, yeah, I would agree that
last year was a very big shift as well.

(03:33):
It was, you know, the ruler of Scorpio, Pluto, was in the last
moments of this, you know, 20 year long transit in Capricorn.
So everything just felt like very heightened.
So yeah, hopefully this year doesn't feel as insane, but
we'll see. But before we get into today's
episode, which is Jupiter in Scorpio, make sure that you go

(03:55):

We really appreciate your interaction.
And I also feel like I feel likethe Scorpio episodes really do

(04:39):
get that, you know, reach that type of astrological person that
is so here to understand themselves.
And I'm excited that this episode, Jupiter and Scorpio, it
is your placement. And as I was doing these notes,
I realized I've got Jupiter in the 8th house and I'm like, oh,
hey, that's a cool way that eventhough our Jupiters are square,

(05:02):
that's a cool way that we can kind of, you know, relate in
those Jupiter vibes. So I'm excited to get into it.
Me too. We like briefly talked about it
last week with our Venus Jupiteraspect series episode.
But it's been a journey getting to know my Jupiter placement and
like really feeling Jupiter and Scorpio.
And I mean, we'll definitely getinto it, but a lot of things

(05:23):
that I would attribute to my Taurus moon, I feel like really
translate well to my Scorpio Jupiter as well.
So I'm really excited to kind ofdivulge with divulge all the
kind of, I don't know everythingthat we found when researching
Jupiter and Scorpio. Yeah, I'm excited.
So the last time that Jupiter was in Scorpio for anybody
wondering as more of a transit, if this isn't your Natal

(05:46):
placement, we still experience Jupiter in the sky in Scorpio
once every 12 years. So the last time it was in
Scorpio was October 2017 to November 2018.
And the next time it's going to be in Scorpio is going to be
September 2029 until October 2030, which is that was a crazy
year to write out. I was like.
They are going to see that year. That's crazy, but I was

(06:09):
reflecting on what I had experienced during this last
Jupiter and Scorpio in 2017 and 2018.
And literally 2 days after Jupiter entered Scorpio in 2017,
my mom came to visit and this would mean that my 4th house was
lit up. It was like the first time or
the second time that she was coming to see where I lived.

(06:30):
I was having this activation of mother and energy of travel,
energy of sharing kind of my world with her.
It's also a year that I went back to therapy, which is
certainly a Jupiter in Scorpio, but also just a fourth house
activation where I really neededto grow through psychological, I
don't know, discoveries and explore what I was feeling.

(06:53):
I started babysitting and nannying this baby that I nanny
from when she was six months oldto three years old.
And that was kind of the beginning of it.
And it felt like again, this opportunity showing up in a
maternal role or a motherhood role.
Like again, very 4th House Energy of being in somebody's

(07:14):
home and helping them with theirfamily needs and just being this
very maternal energy towards this this baby.
And then a couple of other things like I took guitar
classes. I was really wanting to just
lean into learning that more andlike actually understanding a
little bit more about this craftthat I've always enjoyed and

(07:34):
taking on a huge role at the bookkeeping company that I was
in, which Scorpio rules other people's money.
So it made a lot of sense for meto be a bookkeeper of dealing
with other people's finances. And then Jupiter, which was all
about seeing what opportunities they could take, as, you know,
their bookkeeper, and also just learning that skill and really

(07:54):
expanding the business that I was working for using that
skill. So I did really see.
A lot of different ways I went through my calendar because I'm
such a calendar girl and I just went through my calendar to see
the appointments that I had and what came up what what I let go
of during that year. So it was really fascinating to
do that little experiment. I love that I, I'm more of like

(08:15):
a physical planner. I've been, I've been much more
of the digital lately, but I like, I wish I had that physical
planner like easy access. But I did like go back.
I go back in pictures a lot. That's kind of my like planner
diary in a way. Like I'll go to that year, that
month, whatever and reflect on it.
But I didn't even have to do that for this one.
I knew exactly what my life was like from that October 2017 to

(08:38):
November 2018. That was when I moved back to
the United States and that was my one year in the United States
where I went back to, I went back to school and or I went,
yeah, I went back to like get another master's in global
development and peace. And I've got Scorpio in my 11th

(09:02):
and which just like, I don't know, some something about that
11th House Energy of like idealism and hoping for a better
future type of thing. That's what really, that's why I
went back to school. Very humanitarian, very
humanitarian. Like, yeah, it's like mediation,
you know, degree and everything. So like very, very humanitarian

(09:23):
vibes. And I also was connected with
people from all over the world. I was like one of the only
Americans in the program. And it was very cool.
And but that year was also the first time I ever went to
therapy. So that's very like interesting
that like as soon as you said that, I was like, and we have a
parallel there because that's the first time that, yeah, I
ever went to therapy. And it was a really hard year in

(09:46):
so many ways. And there was a lot of like, I
know this doesn't totally line up in my, in my whole sign.
It's 12th house, which is just alot of undoing energies, you
know? And I definitely went through an
emotional wringer that year because it was the first time as
like an adult that I was living with my parents and it was hard

(10:08):
relate. Living with my.
Mother, I was like. Hopefully by the time this
episode comes out, I'm not. Yeah, it's very exciting, but I
was like, what? I turned this was like right in
between like being 27 and and 28for me.
But but yeah, I was living with my parents while they were

(10:30):
redoing like their entire kitchen and living room and
everything. So like in their relatively
large house, we were all living out of like one room after not
having lived together for years. It was just such a time.
But there was a lot of family factors that were going on that
were really, you know, being so far away from everything and

(10:51):
then being right up in it. Like there's that kind of
intensity that Scorpio brings where it's like, whoa, like if
we think about Jupiter and Libramoving into Jupiter and Scorpio,
like I was in a very kind of, you know, surface level, like
good when everybody, you know, when I wasn't involved in
everything because there was a distance there.
And then as soon as I was back, it was like, oh, we have to deal

(11:11):
with this and we have to deal with this.
And then I'm, you know, in grad school again for the first time
in a long time and, and just dealing with being in the United
States after having an experience abroad and all these
things that it was a lot of transformative energies for
sure. So that definitely, I think that
that was the first time I reallyhad to take care of my inner

(11:32):
world and I'd never really had to explicitly acknowledge and do
something about it. Before, yeah, really moved
through it. There was no avoiding it, which
I feel like is very Jupiter in Scorpio energy.
There's no avoiding what you're feeling because you can see that
there's growth in feeling that transformation.

(11:54):
And I always joke about, I mean,I'm not really joke about like
how I twist the knife, how I always choose to twist the knife
in hard experiences because thenthat way I'm feeling it to its
maximum. And I know that it when I do
move through something and I'm on the other side of it, I know
I turned every single stone. I didn't avoid a single feeling

(12:16):
in that experience, and I think that that is Jupiter and
Scorpio, like really taking action and following through on
every little emotion or feeling or sensation or transformation
that's being asked of you. Yeah, there's a lot of or.
It's not possible to hide from it.
It's too much to to hide from. And there's not a desire to

(12:39):
either with the Jupiter in Scorpio.
It's like, Oh yeah, I've got full faith in this
transformative experience, even when I'm in that deep emotion.
I was just talking to my boyfriend about this the other
day because I was having a toughday.
I was going through a lot and I was just like, sorry, I'm.
I'm very low right now. And he was like, what I've
observed about you is that you get very low, but it passes so

(13:01):
quickly. And even when you are low, you
know that you're going to be OK.You just have to be low.
You have to let yourself be low.And there's still this optimism
and faith that by experiencing this deep low, I am allowing
myself to truly experience a high later or experience a

(13:22):
neutral later because I'm never going to hold myself back from
healing through those intense emotions.
That is beautiful. It's also like you know that
when you do go low, you it's maybe not the same thing every
time because you have gone through, you have dealt with
healing. There is, I guess there's almost
like evidence of having been lowand worked through it and come

(13:49):
back up like there's some sort of, you know, because Scorpio
does love good like investigative evidence and
everything. Like there's proof of that and
optimism in that, like coming back from it.
And I think that my Taurus placements really help this
Jupiter in Scorpio because it islike, OK, we know the natural
cycle of things. We do have tangible proof that

(14:10):
you've survived these difficult moments before.
So I do want to say that obviously every chart, like
every point in a chart matters if you have Jupiter in Scorpio,
but you don't exactly relate to maybe the way I'm so grounded in
how I need to feel everything. Maybe you don't have the Taurus
placements that I have, you know, maybe you need to really
express with variety and wildness.

(14:31):
And maybe because as you have Gemini or Sag and you're, you
know, so how I experienced my Jupiter in Scorpio is going to
be a little bit different than how everybody else does.
But I feel like when researchingthis placement, I related so
much to certain parts because I have this Jupiter in Scorpio in
my 4th House of emotion. And then I also have my planet

(14:52):
of emotion in this very solid and grounded sign.
So. Yeah, that opposition.
Listen to our Sister Signs episode if you want to know
about that Torah Scorpio axis. And we do have an entire episode
out on Jupiter. But really quick overview, even
though we've already started getting into it, but Jupiter is
a social plan at the other social planet being Saturn.
We've got an episode out, we've got a 2 parter out on that one.

(15:15):
And so it's more involved about how your life plays out more
than who you are at the core. It's that social element.
It's how and where we learn the most.
It's how we access expansion. It's that optimism, faith, it's
that moral code, the beliefs, personal truths, where we seek
more. It's the more is more planet and

(15:37):
where we could overextend ourselves because of that.
You know, that's almost like yousaying that twisting the knife
that you mentioned because like with Scorpio, that is just that
intensity and it goes the extra step.
Jupiter will take up that extra space.
Yeah, yeah, it's absolutely likefinding your personal truth
through themes of whatever sign your Jupiter is in.

(16:00):
So for me, I'm finding my personal truth by diving deep
into my psychology, right, and my spiritual undertaking and my
soul and all that. More taboo, occult like darker
themes. But on the other side of that
Jupiter is this sense of optimism and faith and where we
absolutely will persist because giving up is not an option.

(16:23):
We know that our efforts will berewarded because we deserve to
be rewarded. That's Jupiter's energy is
knowing that you are good right with that morality clause in
there too. Like Jupiter is knowing that you
are good and you are deserving as long as you learn your
lessons through the themes of whatever sign Jupiter is in.

(16:45):
And if you're listening to this in real time, Jupiter is
currently in Cancer and that's where Jupiter is exalted.
It's where it's happiest. And so your Jupiter at some
point is being trying by presentJupiter.
So that is a really like beautiful time to take advantage
of that abundance flow during this time.
Yeah, yeah. Speaking of abundance, Jupiter

(17:06):
is like a planet of luck, right? And prosperity.
It's where we're extremely abundant.
And actually, we'll say too, I remember when we were
researching exaltations and falls and there was some
discussion about Jupiter being exalted in Scorpio as well.
So I think the more obvious exaltation is absolutely Jupiter
and Cancer, which we have an episode out on that very

(17:28):
fascinating to discuss. But another kind of follow up is
Jupiter and Scorpio being an exaltation, which I love because
Jupiter, I mean, if you look at like Jupiter's the ruler of
Sagittarius and Scorpio and Sag are such different energies.
Like Scorpio is underneath the volcano with the magma and Sag
is just like the lava coming out, just like partying, you

(17:48):
know? So there's such an intensity to
Scorpio where there's such a lightness to Jupiter or to Sag
and Jupiter. And so we find lightness through
that darkness when these two energies come together.
That's true. It's like, I mean, in the Zodiac
wheel, Scorpio and Sagittarius are right next to each other.
They don't have anything in common.

(18:09):
But you can also see how having both of those placements are
having that Jupiter and Scorpio energy can benefit whatever
it's, you know, putting that energy towards because we have
this light hearted, fun, optimistic adventure seeking
Sag. But then we have this purposeful
and very intentional and not afraid to feel the hard feelings

(18:34):
Scorpio. And so that like coming together
with that Jupiter and that Scorpio energy is really it's
very cool. Yeah.
And the way that they grow through life is through death,
rebirth and transformation in between.
Like, there's no way to sugarcoat it.
Like the way that Jupiter and Scorpio natives grow in their

(18:55):
life is through hard experiences, through difficult
emotional experiences that forcethem to face themselves,
confront themselves, be honest with themselves, and move
through some of those uglier truths until they get to the
other side and feel like a more personally truthful version of
themselves. It's not an authenticity energy

(19:17):
the way that Leo is authenticity, but it's this self
honesty that I think is so important for Jupiter and
Scorpio. And I love that coming together
with the planet that rules Sagittarius, which is very
honesty, you know, truth focused, but in a totally
different way. It's a very complimentary way.
Whereas Jupiter is this personal.

(19:39):
It's it's personal truth. As far as a belief system and
what it is, I don't have to haveproof.
I have to believe, I have to feel it.
I have to put all my experiencesand my knowledge and my trust
and everything together because Jupiter is not about needing
proof for something. It's about having faith in
something so strongly. That it becomes your personal

(20:02):
truth. But then Scorpio is like, but I
need to investigate so deep and so much to find out what that
personal truth is. I'm not.
Reading headlines. I am reading research studies.
Exactly, Yeah. Yeah, it's funny because for me,
I, I always felt like if I namedmy fear, if I said it out loud

(20:24):
and like, say that fear is that ugly truth.
If I say it out loud, that's half the work of conquering that
fear of working past it. You know, so much of Scorpio
energy can be repressed and likewe, we shove that down, we hide
it. But Jupiter doesn't hide.
Jupiter expands on something. So Jupiter expands on an ugly
truth. And I'll often find that I'll

(20:45):
say something that's an ugly truth or that feel that is a
very intense statement. But for me, it's just true.
And when I say it out loud, other people might recoil in
like, oh, my God, are you OK? I can't believe you said that.
And I'm like, why wouldn't I saywhat is true for me?
And the only way to move throughit is to acknowledge that it's

(21:06):
fact or acknowledge that it's real in who I am.
And I'm not going to repress that emotion.
Jupiter in Scorpio, like unlike, you know, kind of any other
placement in Scorpio, Jupiter isthe only one that's anti
repressive, you know, And so it's really like, hey, let's
really expand on this and make it as known as possible as your

(21:29):
personal philosophy on life. And everything Scorpio and 8th
House Energy deals with taboos. So like what you just said as
well as maybe that shock factor of like, you know, the we don't
talk about Bruno vibes, you know, like like you just said
it. I talk about.
Bruno, Jupiter and Scorpio talksabout Bruno.

(21:53):
Guys and like, do I like what are we doing?
This is the hot Gus. Like where the fuck is Bruno?
Anyway, we do have an analysis episode out on Encanto if you're
interested. We do.
Wow, what a throwback. Remember when in Quinto had like
a chokehold on society? Oh my God, why did?

(22:14):
I say it like that. In because it's scorpions.
Anyway, another thing about. Jupiter is the way in which we
teach others, not just the way that we learn.
And I have found that, like, my methods of teaching are very
much, I mean, I love one-on-one,like mentorship and teaching in
that way and healing, you know? But I have an intensity of like

(22:37):
when I teach astrology, I'm like, I'm not just going to give
you the information. We're going to do somatic
meditation so that you feel thisenergy in your physical body, so
that you can feel what it's liketo inhabit Taurus in your body,
to inhabit Cancer in your body. Like when I teach, I want it to
be a fully like sensational experience that you not only

(23:00):
understand mentally but understand on like a deeper
level. And also like we've talked about
this in previous Jupiter episodes that Jupiter deals with
like our social, it's social andit deals with our social media
presence as well and how we likecompared and contrasted our
Jupiter. It's like my Jupiter and Leo
social media with my arms wide and here's my face in every
picture and yours is like a quite the variety of your very

(23:24):
deep personal truths. And like sometimes that is like,
you know, an everyday life vibe of just like this is what my
life is looking like today and that's my truth today.
And then sometimes it's tears and music and.
It's me, Sabe. Yeah, if you want to see me cry.
First off, what's wrong with you?
Second off, you can. At me, knees dot me.

(23:53):
I love what you like the commentthat you made though, about how
as opposed to any other Scorpio placement, this is the one that
is visible. This is the one that is seen
because it's Jupiter and it's that broadcasting and it's that
I'm too big to go unnoticed. And you know, Scorpio normally
really wants to stay discreet, but there's nothing discreet

(24:15):
about Jupiter. Like you can't.
I'm just like thinking about my entire chart and like Chiron on
the ascendants, like, hey, people see you as wounded and
emotional Moon in the 10th house.
Hey, the public sees your emotions, Jupiter and Scorpio in
the 4th house. Like we're broadcasting your
deepest inner world. Like of course I could never
hide how I feel. And you never will.

(24:37):
Just never. No, why would I?
It's my truth. So, any other notes on Jupiter
and Scorpio that you'd thought? Of, you know, I have some, I had
some like fun, I guess discoveries while doing some
research for this from one of our rotating references.
But I'm gonna save it for when we go over that.
So why don't we maybe get into references and then I'll talk

(24:59):
about some of those things that I discovered.
Sounds good. So starting with our tried and
true reference, Mr. Steven Forrest from the Book of Fire,
The Life Givers, the prize of Jupiter and Scorpio.
Imagine on one hand the fiercest, most psychologically
threatening truths you can muster, and on the other hand,
meeting them with joy and faith. In this configuration, we see

(25:21):
evidence of a soul finding itself on the cusp of achieving
victory over an ancient wound, dancing triumphantly on its own
grave from a past. Life.
That's awesome. That is so beautiful with like
the way in which Jupiter deals with like, sorry, Scorpio deals
with death and rebirth and everything dancing triumphantly
on its own grave from a past life like that.

(25:46):
That in itself that's such a Scorpionic 8th house statement
and I love the joy brought to itfrom Jupiter.
Yeah, it feels like Entero, likethe fool is just dancing.
I'm like, yeah, I died and now Iget.
To it's like the fool and the death card, like arm in arm,
like like dancing around. That's it's so it's bringing joy

(26:09):
to this transformative and like sometimes scary thought, you
know? Love and intrusive thought.
Yeah, you do. We don't love one, We do not
love them. Never underestimate the strength
that enters the human spirit when we let humor be one of our

(26:29):
tools, which I feel like I'm a case study for that.
I'm always making dark, dark jokes.
Incredible. And yes, you are.
I thought it was really interesting 'cause he had two
kind of points about laughter and how laughter is actually
such a healing medicine for Jupiter in Scorpio.
And like how we're using this lightness tool of Jupiter in a

(26:52):
very intense setting of Scorpio and how, yeah, just how making
jokes and making light and laughing about intensity and
just the fragility of death was.He definitely brought that up
and I thought that was really fascinating.
That's like, I guess the lightness that we can have on

(27:15):
such dark topics. It's what I have, the way in
which I can relate to that is myJupiter in the 8th.
I do have Jupiter in Leos, whichit's like extra shiny in that
way, so extra shining a light inthat 8th house, which is similar
to these topics that we're goingover.
But just the whole, like, I don't know, the, the taboo

(27:36):
subjects and like the, the hard truths and the, I guess bringing
some beauty and optimism to something that could be really
overwhelming that I feel like Scorpio energy is overwhelming.
And when you have Jupiter, when you have that like light that's
brought on overwhelming intense subjects, sometimes, like on one

(27:58):
hand, it can be like, wow, please stop.
I'm too overwhelmed. And then on this other hand, it
could be like, I can't believe you were able to turn that light
on in this dark cave I was in. Thank you.
Like there's, there's both sidesto that, I guess intensity that
sometimes we're like, Oh my gosh, the light's too bright.
Like, you know, I could see thatbeing a Jupiter in Scorpio, like

(28:19):
you said, with people reacting like you just said the thing.
Oh my gosh. But then on the other hand, it's
like, wow, I was in a dark moment and you just completely
made me feel like there was suchhope to be found in that moment
with that Jupiter energy. Yeah, yeah, by spreading that
like faith and optimism. Exactly.

(28:41):
Next up, he says you have a realcapacity for psychological
penetration, but do guard your sense of perspective.
Be wary of a subtle creeping vanity in regard to your own
depth. And he did expand on this a
little bit, sort of just saying like, oh, look how deep I am.
Like that's the concern with this placement of like, oh,
please look at me. Notice how deep I am.

(29:03):
I'm just thinking of the line from pitch perfect.
Not a good enough reason to use the word penetrate, I'm sorry.
As my Scorpio placements would Ilove using.
That word in I was going to say this is like that's just what
came to I was just what came into my brain as soon as he said
and I was picturing fatty Amy saying that.

(29:24):
But I I think that's of all the energy Scorpios going to use it
perfectly. But that makes sense though,
because it is like it is the perfect word for this too,
because it's not just like, Oh, there's depth here.
It's like, no, we are going through it like there, it gives
the like, you know, image of like something has to be pierced

(29:45):
to go through, you know, like this is not just this shape fits
in this shape. It's like there has to be an
active break through in this motion.
Yeah, your gift from the gods. The ability to maintain faith,
humor and spiritedness in the face of life's genuine darkness.
Beautiful. Beautiful.
That's that's what we were just saying.

(30:06):
Yeah. And then lastly, helpful wisdom.
Some people say angels can fly because they have wings, but
angels fly because they take themselves lightly.
Oh oh. Yeah, I thought that was cool.
It's like it kind of goes back to that vanity aspect of like,
are you twisting the knife because you want others to see

(30:27):
how deep you are, or because, you know, you're almost
punishing yourself with that knife?
Or is there an opportunity for you to take things a little
lighter and still validate that you're going through the
experience and that you're stillbeing reborn without maybe
killing yourself off so violently?
Yeah, that is such an I would not have put that on Jupiter and

(30:53):
Scorpio, but I love the wisdom factor there.
Yeah, you know. It's something that they can
hear and maybe take them. And that's something that I
honestly am like in an active moment of deciding whether or
not I should twist the knife in a certain experience, you know,
and I'm going back and forth of like, would it be good for me to
really feel that knife twist? Or should I give myself a little

(31:16):
bit of lightness and trust that I have put in the work and I
don't need to put myself throughthat stabbing experience?
That's and that statement in itself was very Jupiter in
Scorpio. Still unsure?
Jerry's out. Jerry is out when this episode

(31:36):
comes out. Ask if I twisted the knife or
not. Oh goodness.
Let's. OK, yes, we'll.
Yep. Next up, show give us some
moving on, yeah. So we have rotating references
this Jupiter season and our rotating reference for Jupiter
in Scorpio is Hannah's ElsewhereFriend of the pod.
We love you Hannah, and she's been on three years in a row of

(32:01):
our Year ahead episode. So if you want to know what's
going on for the end of this year, if you're listening to it
in real time, you can listen to that 2025 episode with Hannah
from Hannah's where? And I really, I was really like
my, I don't know, my brain was sparked by a lot of this when I
was like researching from her reference, a quote from her was

(32:21):
that you can attract good luck and fortune in a way that is
rather profound, intense and darn right extreme.
And that that feels like the extreme factor, like there's not
a length Scorpio won't go to andJupiter's always pushing
boundaries. But I love this applied to the
you can attract good luck and fortune in that way.

(32:44):
Oh, it's. Really interesting.
I'm thinking about like, you know, whenever I am sitting in a
place of gratitude and feeling really lucky, it's like I feel
like I'm not lucky in small ways.
I feel like I am very lucky and very prosperous in in big ways.
Like in the big picture. Yeah, kind of on that extreme
side of the spectrum. Exactly, yes, and like to

(33:05):
continue the extreme energy. She also said here you may go to
extreme lengths to figure out the truth about something or
others might go to extreme lengths to figure out the truth
about you and a little smile there.
Honestly, me, not so much. I feel like.
I feel like I don't have to go to extreme lengths to find the
truth about something because I feel like I'm tapped into

(33:27):
people's personal truths like very easily.
But I am just thinking about I don't know if I should share the
story. I'll ask him after and we can
edit it out maybe. But my current boyfriend, when
he first met me, he like sent his brother over to where I was
with my partner at the time to scope out who that person was

(33:48):
and if I was single or what. And like, I feel like that was
quite extreme lengths of like kind of this espionage to find.
I need to investigate her light.I need to figure it out.
Yeah. Oh, I love that.
I love that. Espionage.
I think it. Would do with me sharing that.
I love that, but that is like extreme lengths to figure out
the truth about you and and alsolike just in the way in which

(34:10):
you share things about yourself. You either don't right away, or
then you just drop a bomb of like, hey, here's this really
deep, intense personal truth about me.
And everyone's like, I'm sorry, what now?
Are you talking about me? Yeah.
Yeah, I was like, are you speaking generally?

(34:31):
Cuz actually you're. Still right?
Yeah, yeah, you're right. So I feel like that definitely
applies here. I just, you know, but also going
to extreme lengths to figure something out, like the truth
about something. I absolutely see that in you
absolutely like the way in whichlike just even things when it

(34:54):
comes to astrology, it when it comes to whatever, you know,
fascination, like because Jupiter deals with higher
learning and like, you know, that expanded knowledge and you
will get to the bottom of it. You're like, I'm not just going
to learn this one branch of astrology.
I need to know this and this andthis and this this in order to
then feel like I can have my truth about it.

(35:14):
You need to go to that depth. So true.
That's a good, good observation. And then just some other like
notes that I took from what Hannah had to say, like wanting
to understand why things are theway that they are.
Like not just accepting, but like needing to understand,
which goes along with what we just said.
And beliefs being very difficultto change and not tolerating

(35:37):
others trying to change your belief systems.
And I think we mentioned this inJupiter and Leo because I do
relate to that. And maybe that's my Jupiter and
the 8th as well. I think it's just a fixed
Jupiter energy. Like I am fixed in my
principles. But I will say like there's a
lightness to my Jupiter and Leo being like you can try, but like
I believe what I believe. But like a Jupiter in Scorpio

(35:58):
was like, I know this to be true.
So like, like don't even come atme.
With, yeah. And I, I mean, maybe I can
present as defensive sometimes, but for the most part I'm just
like, no, not true for me, but cool for you.
And like, if somebody is trying to change my belief, sometimes
that will upset them because I'mjust like, I'm not going to let
you penetrate me in that way. It's very final, yeah.

(36:18):
Like there's a finality to it, Yeah, Because there's such a a
sureness in that. Because they've gone through
such lengths to discover that truth.
Yes, exactly, exactly. So it's like you can come at me
with whatever you want, but I'vegot 6.
Times in the last year, okay, I've learned enough about
myself. Like you cannot change what I

(36:41):
believe. Yes, exactly.
And that's not to say that that can't change for them, but but
in their truth, in that moment, based on what they lived and
experienced, you're not like they've got the the proof to
back it up. They've got the experiences to
back it up and and also investigating and deep diving
into subjects that others might be too busy or scared to look at

(37:04):
and that goes along with that taboo subject area.
And I also thought it was interesting just thinking of the
social factor of Jupiter that Hannah touched on of probably
sharing your beliefs at social gatherings with others and like
maybe kind of hoping to trigger others and or investigating
others beliefs in social situations.
Because with that, like, you know, in those social settings,

(37:29):
they've got such that that's where Jupiter's activated and
they've got such, I don't know, it's that it's that Scorpio
sting almost like coming absolutely see where.
She's coming from on this and definitely go check out Hannah's
elsewhere on YouTube. She's got an incredible channel.
She dive like she just dives into so much incredible

(37:49):
astrological information. You should definitely go check
her out. I would say I don't
intentionally try to trigger people, that so goes against my
MO, but I have found that my intensity and like my
declaration of my truth can be quite triggering.
Like I said that recoiling energy of like holy shit you
just said that. And now I'm going to bring in

(38:10):
She's the Man quote from Eunice. My intensity tends to scare
people. Yeah, I am.
Eunice. I mean, I will say as as a
bestie, like that is something that you definitely you do, but
you like it's never intentional.Like you said, like and like

(38:31):
that I completely, you know, there and like my Jupiter and
Leo or my sag placements that are like, we like to live in the
happier, like like higher ground, not in the deep, like
emotional like depths that can it can be triggering because
it's like you just said something that I myself never
even thought to let myself thinkabout.

(38:52):
And, and we just went from fly and high to like sucked
underwater And like that is I can't like that's too much.
And but I will say through that though, and when it's, you know,
that's how those squares work too, like they are friction that
then help you grow and make something new from it.
Because the way in which you just somehow magnifying glass,

(39:14):
the exact source of an issue that like, you know, past me
would have been like, please stay away.
But present me is like, OK, I need to be open to this.
I need to think on it. I know how to express myself to
be like that's enough, probably. But let me like, just let me sit
back for a minute. And take it in.
Exactly. Yeah, but I do think that there

(39:34):
is this ability to just ZAP right in on the root of
something that could trigger people and that and they could
just be at a birthday party making a comment and it's like,
oh, wow. And crickets.
I just come with a bag of crickets everywhere I go.

(39:56):
Guys, I'm prepared for this moment of intensity.
Here you go. Here's something to fill the
silence. Oh my gosh.
And then I just want to like endon talking about like that.
She brought up a lot of like thesexual side of Jupiter in
Scorpio, which I think is reallyimportant to mention because it
is such a sexual sign. That's the part of the body that

(40:19):
it rules. That's like the, you know, the
themes that it rules. And so with maybe like close
people, intimate partners, you know, hitting them in the
fields, that could be really, it's what we just like, you
know, me as one of your close people.
It can be that intensity on bothsides of things.
It doesn't have to be like, let's say intimacy as well as
sexual, you know, topics, but itcould also be maybe

(40:42):
overindulging in sexual desires or being super controlled when
it comes to sex because of that tendency to keep a lid really
tight on what you actually desire.
Interesting. I remember somebody once looking
at my chart and just going like,oh, you're so fertile.
And I was like, oh, OK. And I thought, you know, a lot

(41:03):
of it is the Taurus placements make sense.
But you think of like, Jupiter as the planet of luck, and then
in Scorpio, the sign that rules reproductive organs.
And then in my 4th house on top of that, you know, you could
have that luck and that fertility without it being in
the 4th house. But the 4th house also rules
motherhood and family and stuff like that.
So it all kind of connects sexuality but also fertility.

(41:27):
Yeah, yeah. And then Speaking of that
fortune, like lastly just could have fortune come and luck come
in very mysterious or unexpectedways because of that mysterious
Scorpio energy. And I mean, like you mentioned
before, Scorpio and 8th House Energy deal with other people's
money. And so having like it could be
inheritance. It could be also like, you know,
as as a social planet, like maybe the way in which you make

(41:50):
money could be dealing with you know, it, it could be helping
with sex education or it could be, you know, a lot of those
type of topic areas as well. Oh, I love that.
Yeah. Very, very cool.
So there we have it. Thank you again.
Hannah from Hannah's elsewhere. You are that on.
Yeah. And then our last segment is
talking about a public figure with this placement.

(42:11):
So for today, we have the 14th Dalai Lama, Kenzan Gatso.
So I just loved this. I was.
I was pumped to talk about this one.
I love this so much. I love this so much this.
Just somehow it speaks to my Sagittarius.
And also the most random fact ever is that my first dog was a
Lhasa Apso and they are the dog of the Dalai Lama.

(42:35):
Like they were the dogs that were like used to because they
have such a cute hearing, they would wake up the bigger guard
dogs if ever there was like somesort of, I don't know.
This is the story I was told as a child.
So it's always stuck with me. But like, I just always was
like, my dog is the dog of the Dalai Lama.
I. Love that.
I'm excited to learn. About this, yes.

(42:56):
OK, so the 14th Dalai Lama again, Tenzin Ghetto is the
spiritual woman. Do a little bio and then we'll
talk about his chart, his placements a little bit deeper
than just the Jupiter in Scorpio.
So we're going to talk about other placements in his chart
that mitigate that Jupiter in Scorpio and how we can see that
the rest of the chart helps, youknow, give a little bit more
information. So he's the spiritual leader of

(43:19):
Tibetan Buddhism and a global advocate for peace, compassion
and non violence. Recognized as the reincarnation
of the previous Dalai Lama at age 2, he assumed both spiritual
and political leadership roles early in life.
In 1959, following China's annexation of Tibet, he fled
into exile in India, where he continues to lead the Tibetan
community in Dharamsala. At just 23, he fled Tibet after

(43:42):
the Chinese occupation, A profound crisis.
Rather than collapse under loss,he transformed exile into a
spiritual mission, embodying Scorpios rebirth after
destruction. He has spoken.
He has spoken openly about death, impermanence, and the
human tendency toward violence, topics many avoid.
The Dalai Lama is revered for teaching meditation, compassion

(44:04):
and the inner sciences of the mind.
Esoteric wisdom that looks beneath the surface of human
suffering to uncover spiritual truth.
Wow. Yeah, and it was interesting
'cause I think that we missed like there is a more traditional
delineation of Jupiter and Scorpio that talks about exile

(44:24):
and how often these natives, like people with Jupiter and
Scorpio in their chart, experience some sort of like
isolation or exile, and that helps them find their personal
philosophy. That checks out.
I mean, Scorpio is like, I mean,it, it's one of the hermit

(44:44):
energies. You know, it's it's that like
going in and you know, whether that be self isolation or
actual, you know, isolation, butit makes sense for a figure such
as this one to experience that. But it seems like just world
circumstances also really influenced.
Yeah. And then when we look at his

(45:05):
chart, he has got AI mean he's got a lot of trines to his
Jupiter starting with the Sun. It's his Jupiter is trying his
son in Cancer, which is actuallyright on his ascendant as well.
So we can see this very public figure, right?
Like there's no surprise that he's so broadcasted and well

(45:26):
known with the son on the ascendant in Cancer.
Again, dealing with more emotional health, like esoteric
wisdom of the mind and emotionalwell-being.
Trying Jupiter in Scorpio of really diving deep into the
esoteric and the spiritual. That like I that's when I
mentioned that current Jupiter was would be trying this

(45:47):
Jupiter. He's just dealing with that with
his son and the fact that it's on the ascendant.
Having your son on the ascendant.
I mean, hello, like people notice you right away, like you
are important when you show up, when you arrive somewhere you
are noticed. And then to have that trying
Jupiter, there's just like this, you know, sudden cancer is a,

(46:08):
you know, it's a softer energy because the cancer is this like
nurturing caregiver energy. But then Scorpio has this
intensity and this depth to it. And not that not that Cancer
doesn't have depth, but Cancer is the wave.
Whereas like, you know, Scorpio is this deep underwater current
that like sucks you in. And the balance of both of those

(46:31):
trining one another is like there seems to be a lot of
intuitive and spiritualism. Happening with that, and
actually, not only is his Jupiter, Trina Sun, it's also
trine Saturn in Pisces. So he's got a grand water trine
in his chart in the 1st, 5th and9th house, which is kind of the
trifecta of houses that relates to the self, the expression of

(46:55):
self and the personal philosophy, religious beliefs
and philosophical beliefs. And then we have them all in
these water signs, which are so much more spiritual than
dogmatic and much more release of self.
It is much more, again, spiritual than it is about being
selfish. Because, you know, just thinking
of Buddhism, it's all about likesurrendering of self, you know,

(47:19):
and that actually the ego equalssuffering.
And that when we release the egois when we are in sort of this
Zen state. So for him, we can really see
like these three planets being in water signs, but in these
more fiery houses, there's a spark that comes with his his
spirituality, his philosophy, his teachings.

(47:42):
It is unavoidable and you want to look at it.
It is expressed, that's what fire does, like the Firehouse is
express it. And so to have that water grand
water trine being expressed in afiery and like, you know, so
therefore visible way is really fascinating.
And just like talk about like known spiritual leader to have a

(48:07):
grand water trine and have this Jupiter in Scorpio, that is
also, you know, it's not showy, but it's so, so personal truth
and to be looked at for your personal truth.
I mean, I just looking at this chart, it just feels very like,
I'm not surprised that this is achart of a Dalai Lama.

(48:29):
Like I just love, I love lookingat this.
It's very, it's very, it feels very important.
Yeah, I agree. And to think of this grand water
trying of being the two social planets of, you know, dealing
with the social, I don't know, society and also just Saturn
being trying as Jupiter, like leaving a real legacy in the

(48:50):
spiritual world. And it it because it's trying.
It's not the same, not saying this wasn't work, not saying it
didn't work for it, you know, work for, you know, all of this.
But with that energy that's flowing, it's almost like your
abundance and principles and faith moving into the lessons
you much must learn and what youcan teach and leave behind for

(49:11):
others. Just being like this constant,
you know, effortless flow. And then for it to be also
trying your son, which is what everybody's seeing and looking
at, that must have been such an incredible, like person to have
witnessed. And that's really fat.
I love, I love this example of like in our in this Jupiter

(49:32):
season, how we're doing, you know, like public figures.
This is such a cool example. Yeah.
And then the last kind of point is, yeah, planets that are
mitigating this, Jupiter and Scorpio are, he's got a sextile
from Jupiter to the moon, Neptune and Lilith, which are
all in a conjunction with one another.
So that sextile is all opportunity.

(49:52):
And again, we've got this more esoteric planet of Neptune.
We've got Lilith, which is unapologetic in its beliefs.
We've got the moon, which is hisinner world, his emotion, like
it's all being, it's all supporting Jupiter, and
Jupiter's also expanding on these placements as well.
And it's in his third house, which is local community, which

(50:15):
is early education. It Yeah, it's I, I don't know.
This feels a lot more like speaking on his beliefs and
speaking on the emotional necessity of spiritual beliefs.
And it's also in Virgo, which isthis like, you know, dedicated
and of service. Divinely of service.

(50:39):
Yes, exactly, and this purity ofjust you know, and and the
expression, like you said, that moon is going to especially
being the rule, the chart ruler and you know, like being a
Cancer sun that is so influential to that cancer
placement, which is part of thattrine and wow.

(51:00):
So there you go, me and the Dalai Lama.
If we had episode. Nobody's surprised.
Jupiter in Scorpio, Mimi and theDalai.
Honestly, I'm done. Put me in a room with them.
Oh my gosh, this was fascinating.

(51:21):
I really enjoyed talking about this one and I could see how it
could be like a runner up of Exaltation.
You know, there's a lot of depthand intensity and I think just
the Scorpionic nature in contrast to Jupiters abundant
joyful optimism. I can see why Cancer won out on
that one, but this was like sucha cool dynamic of the two of

(51:45):
them together. Yeah, for sure, for sure.
Well, thank you guys so much forlistening.
Let us know if you also have Jupiter and Scorpio and what you
