that if you don't know anything about Jupiter and you want to
know more about Jupiter, you go listen to our Jupiter in your

(03:07):
Chart episode where we go over all of Jupiter's delineations,
what it means in your chart, howto pay attention to it, and how
to align with it. But before you do that, we'll
just do a little recap of Jupiter and talk about Jupiter
in Sagittarius. So Jupiter is the first of two
social planets. Jupiter and Saturn are the 2

(03:27):
social planets. They're not quite personal, but
they're not quite outer. So it's more involved in how
your life plays out, especially when it comes to where you learn
a lot, where you expand your mind, your thinking, where your
beliefs, ideals and philosophiescome from.
But it's also our sense of optimism and faith where we

(03:47):
place our trust because we've been so fortunate there.
Yeah, it's, it really plays intoour moral codes because it is
what we believe in. It is that faith, that trust,
that belief. And because we're dealing with
such a philosophical, you know, ideas, it's not the stuff that

(04:08):
needs proof. It's the stuff that needs that
trust and needs that faith. And that's what builds those,
you know, that social planet energy of where at what sphere
you kind of like fit into with your morals and with your
beliefs and with your ideals andhow that and that morality and

(04:30):
the different type of truth thatyou're seeking.
Because Jupiter is always seeking more and it always wants
more ideas, philosophies and just understanding.
It's such a planet of understanding, but not in a
mercurial way, in a much wider frame way.
Yeah, in an experiential way where we understand something on

(04:51):
a broader spectrum because we'veexperienced it, whereas Mercury
understands something because itread it.
And where on the flip side of this never ending, seemingly
never ending optimism and faith of Jupiter energy, we also have
where we tend to live in denial, but sometimes that denial is

(05:12):
what perpetuates the luck and fortune in that area of life.
So whatever sign your Jupiter isin is going to tell us how you
move through your own faith, howyou move through your optimism,
where you find your optimism throughout life.
You know what the source is of your immense belief in goodness

(05:33):
in this world. Yeah, and it's also, it's the
risk taking planet, it's the gambling planet.
It's you know, so when you are thinking about luck and like you
said, you might be in denial, but when you're sometimes that
blissful ignorance is what gets you lucky, sometimes it's not.
But we'll get into it with Sagittarius because Sagittarius

(05:54):
is ruled by Jupiter that you know, there is an extra heavy
emphasis on this optimism and luck element when it comes to
Jupiter and Sagittarius. Yeah.
And then a little bit of a recap, I mean really brief
recap, recap of Sagittarius is that it's a mutable sign, it's a
fire sign and it is masculine. And so Jupiter actually is the

(06:17):
ruler of Sagittarius, both traditionally and the modern day
ruler. So Jupiter rules 2 signs, Pisces
and Sag. But then once Neptune was
founded, it became the ruler of Pisces.
And so while we still kind of use Jupiter as one of the Co
rulers of Pisces, it is the soleruler of Sagittarius.
So this Jupiter in Sagittarius energy is a double dose.

(06:41):
It's a deeply concentrated energy of both Jupiter and
Sagittarius. Absolutely.
If you've listened to, you know, our other planet episodes in
general, it's like thinking if you have Mars and Aries, you
know, if you have Venus and Taurus or Libra, it's that extra
concentration of a very similar energy.

(07:01):
You're not really adding too much different flavors to your
mix of Jupiter because Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter.
And so we don't have an additional flavor.
We have an extra dose concentration of that Jupiterian
Sagittarius and energy here and so it is heavy hitting with
this, you know, Jupiter and Sagittarius because both of

(07:25):
these you know, both Jupiter andSagittarius are known for
expansive nature. More is more questing, grass is
greener, kind of, you know, wanting to stay in the idea of
fun and happy and good and always seeing the brighter side
of things, which sounds all, youknow, happy and joyful and good.

(07:46):
But then Ken have the other sideof like, yeah, but we do
sometimes need to sit in the other feelings.
We do sometimes need to look at the maybe darker side of
something. So this is a very bright, bright
placement. But then that also has the other
side to it where you know it isn't looking.
Denying the darkness. Exactly.
Exactly. Yeah, yeah.

(08:06):
It lacks balance because it's soconcentrated, but it's going to
be the most Jupiterian energy that you could have.
And if you don't have Jupiter and Sag and you don't know
anyone with Jupiter and Sag, this episode could still be
relevant for you because you'd likely have still gone through a
time in your life where Jupiter in the sky was in Sagittarius.
And this is what we call a transit.

(08:28):
So transits are the current astrology.
It's kind of like the horoscope is telling you what planets are
doing what in the sky and how they're affecting you.
So when Jupiter was last in Sagittarius is November 2018 to
December 20, 19. And so you would have been
experiencing this influence in your personal life.
And I know for myself, I definitely felt that in my, for

(08:52):
me, Sagittarius is in my 5th house.
So I felt a lot of themes of Jupiter in my 5th house.
I went back to therapy where I really explored my heart's
desires. I did a lot of babysitting.
I really expanded the variety ofthings I was doing throughout my

(09:14):
day. I traveled to Buenos Itis for
the first time in eight years. Like literally I booked that
ticket so last minute, which is so Jupiter in Sage to go visit
my dad. And these planet and signs also
rule foreign travel. So this like spontaneous trick

(09:34):
to a foreign country. I also thought it was really
interesting that at this point Ihad tried a new birth control
where which I mean don't take medical advice from me, but also
like don't get an explanon It's a nightmare.
But I did the the birth control that you put in your arm.
I'm sorry. Carry on, Carry on.

(10:02):
But the reason that that is a relevant kind of life event for
this is that this is in my 5th house, which rules childbearing,
you know? So I had this new experience,
this new experimental for me drug to put in my body and it

(10:22):
was ruling the control of childbearing.
I was really, like I said, deep in babysitting, which also the
house rules children. I followed my hobbies a lot
during this time just for fun. Like, I really just enjoyed
making candles and, you know, spending a lot of my time doing

(10:42):
that and trying to just enjoy itrather than making anything from
it. And during this time, I was also
living with roommates. And so again, there was like all
of this stimulation, like a lot of social elements in this year
for me that I was Privy to, thatI was exposed to.
Yeah, yeah, I love, I just love when we like especially

(11:05):
retroactively when we're going back and we're like, of course,
that was a Jupiter in Sagittarius time.
Yeah. Like it just totally checks out
for all of that. I mean, if you don't know, I've
got so many Saj placements over here.
I'm Saj Sun rising Mercury and Venus and Lilith and my when
this November 2018 to December 2019, that was that was like

(11:28):
what a time I was in grad schoolat that time and I decided to
move back to France and continuegrad school from overseas.
So that and I was also in full time French classes at this
time. So I was full time master's
student, full time French student, while also babysitting

(11:50):
at this time too. So I was in like a crazy like my
brain in the whole like higher learning element of Jupiter and
Sagittarius was and and foreign languages.
You kidding me? You know, like that was just
wild. And so I was back overseas and I

(12:10):
was learning a new language. I was figuring out like my
foreign like visa situation and all of that.
And I also got married. So like the fact that Jupiter
was on, you know, all of my Jupiter and Sagittarius on all
of my Sagittarius like that, that was that just also it was.
Bringing a lot of abundance and a.

(12:30):
Lot of abundance. I moved in with my partner and
we got married and there was a lot of travel that year
afterwards, like back to the US,to different parts in France,
back to the US again. So there was so much, I mean,
I'm a traveling person by nature, but that was an
exceptionally traveling year. And also New Horizons new, you

(12:52):
know, there was a lot of abundance for sure that year.
That was also, you know, just asfar as abundance goes.
That was like the first and onlytime that like my mom made it to
France and she has Sagittarius as well.
And you know, that was like thatwas a big abundance like notable
thing that happened for me during that Jupiter and
Sagittarius time. So, so yeah, there was

(13:14):
definitely activation on all my sage from that Jupiter and sage.
And, and it was very much with an optimistic, I definitely feel
especially like looking back, like how I had like rose tinted
glasses for a lot of it too, youknow, like there was a lot of
that. Like looking back now, I see a

(13:37):
little bit of the other sides ofthings of how that was so much
that I was doing at one time. Like how did I survive going to
grad school and full time Frenchclasses and babysitting and
writing my thesis and getting married and dealing with
documents and like all this travel and all of that stuff.
And you know, just like that's alot that was happening, but in

(13:58):
that time period, it was kind ofjust like, let's just keep
going, everything will be fine. You know, a lot of that just
blind trust because I have to and because I'm just going to
hope it all works out. Yeah.
I mean, I'm thinking back on that time and I know that 2019
for me. I know this because I walked
into 2019 being like, wow, this is going to be my year.
And it was absolutely one of thehardest years that I had to go

(14:21):
through. I mean, it was a very, very
stimulating year that overwhelmed me.
And so if I had Jupiter in sag, then it likely would have been
this really wonderful again likethat rose tinted glasses by.
But for me, it was squaring placements in my chart and all

(14:42):
of this exposure to so much stimulation was actually really
causing tension and friction with a lot of my placements and
making things feel so much bigger than I needed them to in
that moment. But what I will say is it trined
my fire placements, which created, you know, the stronger
sense of who I am, the stronger sense of my communication style.

(15:05):
So ultimately, coming out of these harder times, I did find I
had a lot of personal growth during 2019.
And that's something that Jupiter really does represent as
well. And so if you don't know what
happened for you during those times, then you can wait until
October 2030 for the next time that Jupiter will enter
Sagittarius. I was thinking about that.

(15:26):
I'm like, I'm, I'm excited. I'm excited like because of
like, of, I mean, of course makes sense that I would be
excited, but I mean, in 2019, that was like the precipice of
me becoming an astrologer. You know, like I was always into
astrology, but I was, that was like pre podcast podcast started
in 2020. And so that like, you know,

(15:48):
through 2019, that was when all of this was building.
And so now that I know everything and now that I'm
aware of it, I feel like that when Jupiter does come around
again in 2030, which doesn't feel like it should be a real
year that's actually not that far away, I, I'm excited.
Yeah, I mean, I think of this year also for me, like, building

(16:08):
up all my different interests and like, really following my
heart's desire because basicallymy partner at the time was like,
you're struggling a lot and I need you to figure some shit
out. Like, I need you to discover
what it is that makes you happy. And I was like, OK, fuck, here
we go. And so that's what this year
really was for me, was really leaning into making candles,
really leaning into my tarot practice, like leaning into all

(16:30):
these things that then ultimately would feel like they
defined me and gave me a sense of identity in a sense of self.
So yeah, it feels very much likea time of leaning into not the
esoteric in the same way that Jupiter and Scorpio is, but
leaning into seeking meaning, right?
And like finding meaning throughlarger ideas.

(16:51):
I love that, yes, because it absolutely can show up being
esoteric because, you know, thatis one of the many ways in which
people do find meaning. But it is like broader than
that. It's more like let's, it's when
we're seeking more than what we have, because Jupiter already is
expansive more and Sagittarius is questing.
It's shooting the arrow. You know, it's the Centaur.

(17:12):
It's it's the the beast part of the Centaur, but the the the
human part too that has that mind for it.
And so it's like that. Let's take action based on
something that that seems exciting for us.
It's like that excitement drivenarrow.
Yeah. So I do have a couple of
reflective prompts that I put inhere that we can get to.

(17:34):
But before we do, are there any like Jupiter and Sag thoughts
that came to mind for you that you wanted to talk about?
I feel like, well, my dad has this placement and I, I have
like and former Co host Martha has this placement as well.
And I like, I was just thinking about it with my dad and it is
really, it has a larger than life energy.

(17:56):
Like, you know, my dad's also like it's conjunct his Venus.
He's got a Sag mid heaven. So it is concentrated Sag energy
for him. But I was really just thinking
about that. Like Jupiter is a social planet
and Sagittarius is social by nature.
It wants more information. It wants to collaborate and
find, you know, how you do this thing and how you do this thing

(18:17):
and how we can come together andfind commonalities.
And so it's inspired. It is and it's it's creative.
There's a creativity to Sagittarius that's not like, you
know, it's because it's eclectic.
There's an eclectic energy to it.
And it's the type of person thatI feel like Jupiter and Sage is
the type of person that has so many different types of people
in their life and just has so many people in their life

(18:39):
because we're talking social andwe're talking, you know, just
this larger than life planet with larger than life sign and
one that is by nature optimistically connected.
And so I feel like if you have Jupiter and Sagittarius, of
course the whole chart counts. But as a general placement, I

(19:00):
would say this is very social energy where you notice this
person in social settings. This is somebody that you can't
help but connect with, like I I'm just thinking of my dad
being. With her, they can't help but
connect with you. Yes.
Yeah, because I think they're collecting experiences and

(19:23):
people who have had experiences, and so they will find a way to
relate to almost anybody. Absolutely.
It's like you, you don't have a choice when a Jupiter sag is, is
in the room. They will find a way to connect
with you. They will find a way to be
social. They will, you know, and I think
there's a, a lack of judgement as well in this placement

(19:48):
because there's an openness of Ithink there's a default setting
of we have a commonality somewhere because the world is
wide. And so, you know, we have
something in common. Let's find out what it is.
Like there's this, you know, like, oh, you did this thing
that reminds me of this thing that connected to this thing.
And there's just a. It feels like a.

(20:08):
We're Better Together because we're bringing more to the
table. I think that's absolutely the
highest evolution, right? Like that's a really high
frequency of Jupiter and Sag energy.
That's what I think this native is like really working towards.
And I think that if they haven'tgotten to that place, it can
often also show up as almost a holier than thou like morality,

(20:33):
you know, issue where they're like, well, I've experienced so
much so I know everything there. There can be in a lower
frequency energy of this Jupiterand savage placement, more of a
know it all vibe. Absolutely.
And I think that they learn their social skills.
They learn so much throughout life through experiences.

(20:55):
So for a while there before theygain those experiences, there
can tend to be a little bit moreof an immature energy or a naive
energy. But that's also this like blind
faith and blind optimism energy,right?
And so it's magnetic, it's attractive, it's passionate,
it's inspired, it's got a youthfulness to it.
And even just thinking about thefact that both of us were like

(21:17):
nannying a lot when Jupiter was in Sag last, like Sagittarius
doesn't rule children whatsoever, but it does has
ruled this openness, right? And this curiosity.
And I think when you're nannying, definitely that is a
major skill that you use when you're in, you know, in the
presence of a child. And Sagittarius energy is
multitasking energy, not in the same way that Gemini is, because

(21:38):
I feel like that's what I put, Iput it on Gemini more.
But when you are babysitting, like you've got to wear many
hats, you know, like you've justgot to be able to do this and be
able to do that and change here and do that and make it fun.
I mean, you don't have to, but that's the that's the dream, you
know, is to make it fun. And so there is that that is
funny that we were both doing that because that energy is

(21:59):
totally there. And I really like the point that
you made about, you know, in itshighest frequency.
That's what it's like because there is, you know, if somebody
hasn't been able to have all of those experiences or connect to
a lot of people, you know, they're using what they know in
order to connect with that. And it could come up as maybe I
read this or this is my one experience, therefore it is my

(22:21):
truth. And without having a plethora of
options and experiences and connections and people and
information, it could come across as well.
I know this because of this. And the more that they gain
experiences, the more because that that's the whole nature of
seeking that Sagittarius energy is seeking something.

(22:41):
It's not the destination, it's the journey.
And so like the more journeys that they're able to go on, the
more experiences that they're able to have, I think can really
bring that, you know, more positive, optimistic, non
judgmental. Exactly.
Because the more you see that, Ithink the more Jupiter and
Sagittarius sees that things aredifferent, the more open minded

(23:02):
they become. Which maybe that's just normal,
but but it's also. But they're put in situations
where their life plays out so that they have these
experiences. They can grow up like in a what
somebody else experienced as themost sheltered life, like living
secluded maybe in the country orsomething like that, where there

(23:22):
isn't a lot of exposure to diversity or variety, etcetera.
But a Jupiter and Sagittarius native will simply attract
diversity and variety and experience.
They will seek it out whether they're doing it consciously or
not, because that's simply the way they're way.
That's simply the way they expand and grow and learn

(23:44):
throughout life. Life is through, you know, being
exposed to someone different than them or ideals different
than what they were raised with. It's so true.
It's I think about my dad and like the just collection of
people in his life and how it's like, you know, he's like this
Capricorn businessman that's dealing with like, you know,
pretty conservative energies, like, you know, throughout his

(24:08):
career life. And then one of his besties is
like this person who lives in Venice Beach selling like
knickknacks made out of silverware.
Like, you know, that's like, andit's just like this like such a
range of people, you know, like you've got like very classic

(24:29):
business bestie over here. And then you've got like, let's
smoke some pot and sell wind chimes on the beach bestie over
here. Like there's just such an
eclectic nature to who they attract.
And I also really see that with my dad.
And I'm, I'm just still using him as an example.
But like with this Jupiter and Sag energy of, you know, I think

(24:50):
of how my mom has in so many ways expanded his mind on a
spiritual level that he had noneof that in his life before and
probably had very, I saw it whenI was young, like I had much
more black and white ways of thinking.
And my mom is such a, you know, law of attraction and like
optimist in the power of positive thinking.

(25:11):
And then my dad, it's almost like he's the preacher on that
now. Like you see how he has taken
that and and experienced it and now is putting that on everybody
else in his life. And same thing with like me and
astrology. You would think that this pretty
like business brained guy would be like, we're going to stick
with the facts. But it's like his daughter has

(25:32):
brought this world to him. And he's like, yeah, my
daughter's an astrologer and we should look at Mercury's
retrograde right now. You know, like he, like he
brings the new information that's given to him, the
experiences that he has been shown and that kind of adopts
into that life philosophy of that Jupiter and Sagittarius.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And again, I feel like it comes

(25:53):
with time. Like this is a sign where they
truly, you can see the markers of maturity over time and see
the markers of open mindedness and philosophy and their moral
code really does develop over time because that's the only
thing that's going to be able togive you as much experience as

(26:14):
possible. Unless you were born into, you
know, I think about like if you were born into a family or home
life that was the foreign one inyour community, then you're
already being raised in this, Oh, I'm being raised in a place
that is different than me. So you're automatically going to

(26:36):
have a little bit more perspective.
But this is a placement that I think over time is going to gain
perspective. And so a younger Jupiter and
Sage native is going to show those examples of maybe a little
bit more spontaneous, maybe a little bit more of a risk
gambler, you know, a little bit of a party animal, an adrenaline
junkie, etcetera. And over time, this is somebody

(26:58):
who you start to really see settle into their wisdom and
they're, they're calmer, you know, when you observe them,
they're calmer in their presence.
This is definitely risk taking gambling energy that you know,
could really pay off big. But if you go too much, that's
where you learn from that like falling from that, like more is

(27:19):
more. But to a, you know, to an
extent, this is definitely, you know, gambler energy.
And I won big, but then I playedone too many and I lost it all,
you know, and I feel like that that wisdom that you mentioned,
because Sagittarius is known as being a very wise sign, but it's
wisdom that is acquired. And, and and so this is the, the

(27:41):
party animal that then becomes the wise, like, you know, guru
that you go to because they've lived a million lives.
They're able to give you that wisdom and experience that
they've collected, but they've had to live at first.
Yeah, whereas like if you have Jupiter in the other sign that
it rules Pisces, like you got a four year old that's pulling

(28:01):
wisdom out there, but like you don't know where it's coming
from. You're like, why are you so old?
You're 4 years old, but like a Jupiter and Sag when they're 4
years old is just screaming and jumping.
Yeah. Like a wild one, which as they
get older, they reach that placeof like calmer wisdom and just
like a, a higher knowing, right? That's Jupiter energy.

(28:22):
That Sagittarius energy is just this higher understanding of the
world because as you grow through life, you start to kind
of separate a little bit more and more from the the immediate
right now, you know, and like the minutiae of everything.
And then because Jupiter is a social planet and also rules
broadcasting, we like to kind ofattribute what their social

(28:44):
media would look like. And I feel like this is kind of
the epitome of the highlight reel.
They only where I'll show prettymuch only sad shit on my social
media with my Jupiter and Scorpio Jupiter and sad just
like, oh, I'm not going to show real life whatsoever.
We are showing just the best parts of my life all the time.
This is a happy, joyous, colorful broad, you know,

(29:08):
showing all their social, you know, events and connections
that they've made. Yeah, I feel like cuz my Jupiter
and Leo and all my Saj like liketotally relates to all of that.
I'm I am the highlight person much more than the Today was a
hard day person. But the difference is, whereas I
feel like that Jupiter and Leo that I have is going to put

(29:32):
themselves as such a highlight in their own social media,
Jupiter and Sag to me is much more going to be like, here's a
picture of the of the Great pyramids or here's a picture of
the tour group I was with in thegreat pyramids more than here is
me in front of the great pyramids.
Like there's something about that.
Like here's the actual location and or here are the people that

(29:54):
I connected with on this thing. I don't feel like their social
media is a bunch of their face. It's their life's latest
adventures. Exactly, and and it's going to
be eclectic. It's going to be I feel like
it's going to be bright. You know, like there's there's
just like a brightness to them because there's something about

(30:15):
Sagittarius energy too. That's like very, you know,
they're with the the punched up color volume than with the like
sepia tokens. You know, it is saturated.
There's something about like, you're a Scorpio versus.
I love safe yeah. Another reflection I had here is

(30:39):
where do they pull their optimism from?
And I just like from thin air, like from nowhere.
They're pulling their optimism from their asshole.
I mean, it is just coming from nowhere.
It's beautiful. It's.
Impressive. It is beautiful that yeah, they
where they're pulling it from isliterally wherever they need it,
wherever they need to pull it from.

(31:00):
Yeah, and their experience, you know, like, you know what?
I experienced this six years agoand it turned out OK, so it's
gonna turn out OK. Or even if it's like oh I didn't
experience this but like my friend's cousin's husband's
daughter experienced this once and they're fine so I'll be.
Fine, can relate to that. That is sanitarian core like
that is that's you know, well this one person that I never met

(31:21):
but heard this story about it worked out for them.
That's enough for me. That's enough for me.
So it'll be OK. It'll work out, so it will.
And I also think there is where they pull their optimism from is
like, it's from a beautiful point of hope.
But I also think that there is that a little bit of desperation
of like, well, I, I can't let myself go to a place where it

(31:42):
doesn't work out. So I am I it's it's got.
That's where that denial kind ofworks for him, hopefully.
Exactly. Exactly.
Exactly. Yeah.
And then unapologetically faithful.
I think that it well, and I alsowant to say they pull their
optimism from, you know, their studies, their knowledge, their
travels, stuff like that. Again, just like from having

(32:02):
connected with so many differentpeople and being.
Acquired wisdom. Yeah, exactly.
And then where are they unapologetically faithful?
It seems like a similar questionbasically of just in everything
because it's so concentrated andJupiter has doubled down here in
Sagittarius. They're extremely faithful in
their experiences and will not be shaked.

(32:23):
If somebody is like, well, you know what?
I had somebody who went through that same thing and they aren't
OK. It's like, yeah, but I know that
it can be OK, so I'm going to choose that instead.
I think that like they have, they're unapologetically
faithful in the fact that the world can be good.

(32:44):
There's something that's so optimistic and, and like with
this sense of hope about Sagittarius in general and with
Jupiter, you know that I think that Jupiter and Sagittarius
believes that people can be goodand believes that the world can

(33:04):
be a good place. I think that there is like any
time that something really gets them down, there's something
about that. Like, you know, just you see one
of those videos about somebody helping an animal, somebody
helping somebody, like on a really bad day.
And it's like, that's the thing that I feel like Jupiter and
Sagittarius is like, no, but at the core of things, people are

(33:24):
good. Like things happen, you know,
life circumstances, all of that. They're not in complete denial
to it, but I really feel like they are unapologetically like
no things can work out and people can be good.
Yeah, Yeah, I think so too. And also I just want to point
out like Jupiter and Sag are known to be, you know, energies

(33:44):
that we attribute to education, like higher education, right,
going to university, going to college and stuff like that.
But I actually feel like Jupiterand Sag specifically is not AI
mean. It absolutely can be a
collegiate academic placement orsomebody with this like goes on
to get their master's, their PhD, etcetera.
But I think that that almost is more Jupiter and Gemini, Jupiter

(34:06):
and Virgo where it's about collecting information through
more conventional means of beingtaught it by a person who is an
an expert. Whereas Jupiter and Sag wants to
learn things and finds that meaning, finds that information
through their own lived experience.
And so yes, it could be an educational placement where you

(34:26):
do seek meaning through higher education.
But more often than not, I wouldsay that they're going to seek
meaning through their experiences, through travel,
through religion, philosophy, and just their own lived life.
I definitely agree with that. And I remember my dad, like my
dad's got a lot of Capricorn too.
But I do remember him telling mewhen he was at university and

(34:48):
how when he was, you know, getting a business degree and
like that was like that was the goal.
So that's Capricorn part. But like, you know, he, I think
this was his Jupiter part because it is higher education
where he, he told me he's like, I didn't take classes.
I took teachers. I would ask around and I would
find out what teacher was teaching this and what teacher
was teaching that and what teacher I thought would be the

(35:08):
best for me to learn from. And so like he played the game
in that way of being like, I know that I have to take a
certain amount of class to graduate, but also like
conventional education might notbe my vibe, but people are my
vibe. And so if this is a person that
I can gain their experiences from and learn from, and you
know, there's that social nature, you know, if we can

(35:30):
connect in that social energy that I can learn and get done
what I need to get done. But I, I agree with you.
I don't think that it is, you know, I would attribute even 9th
house placements more to higher education than I would just
Jupiter and Sag because there issomething about, you know, I
just, I need to experience it. And that becomes my truth.

(35:51):
That becomes my school, you know, is the experiences itself.
The School of Life. So moving on to our references.
First off, we're going to start with Stephen Forrest from the
Book of Fire, the Life Givers. If anybody is interested, this
is what the book looks like. And if you're an audio listener,
go check us out. Go watch the video.
Anyway, so his reference, he says Jupiter and Sag, is a

(36:13):
complete commitment to living your life as a quest and doing
so unabashedly and enthusiastically and without
shame. This involves a deep integration
of the idea that there are ultimately no mistakes, only
experiences to be digested. No mistakes, only experience.
This really made me wanna. Look up so it's birth chart.

(36:36):
There's no mistakes, only happy accidents.
So. Yes.
I'm going to do that right now. I really love I.
Literally nothing in Sagittarius.
Good. Fascinating.
That's for another episode. Oh, he's got Jupiter and Cancer,
though. That's, like, so forgiving and

(36:56):
kind. That's sweet.
Yeah. Definitely.
Wanna talk about Bob Ross in an episode?
But yeah, I love this. There are ultimately no mistakes
because it teaches you something, right?
So there's that optimism. Yeah, and there's this.
Yeah. It's just this really silver
lining nature and just a joyful like it's gonna be fine.

(37:18):
Like you made a mistake so you learn from it moving on.
Like we don't have time to dwellin feeling bad about it.
Yeah, we just now we know that'sa new experience to add to the
book. Next one.
Like I love that. Yeah, to become a teacher as
well, you know, instead of beingthe student, you eventually do
become the teacher, you know, like well you know, I made some
mistakes and I'm so glad I did cuz now I can teach you how to

(37:41):
not make make those mistakes. Exactly, that's that, you know,
party animal to the guru. Like we learned through our
experiences and now we can sharethat wisdom.
I recently learned that guru means remover of darkness.
Isn't that gorgeous? Yeah.
And it got sort of just like, equated to, like, teacher or,

(38:04):
you know, something like that. But it's a remover of darkness.
Yeah. So I thought that was cool.
Anyway, never underestimate yourluck.
Classic. You have a guardian Angel who
has vowed to protect you so longas you maintain your commitment
to being fully alive. And that I think is like, we can
really see adrenaline junkie energy here, but we can also

(38:25):
just see someone who wants to live life to the fullest.
It is live life to the fullest energy.
Yes like you are. Luck comes from believing and
being lucky, and Jupiter and Sagittarius believes in being
lucky. Yes, exactly.
Next up, beware of inflation regarding being right all the

(38:48):
time. In your enthusiasm for
understanding, you can jump to conclusions.
Yeah. I mean, that's that kind of, I
know more because I've experienced more and it's like,
yeah, but you don't have all theexperiences and you're you,
you're not them. Yeah.
And Sagittarius, being a fire sign, does have a tendency to
integrate some ego in there or like totally self to it.

(39:11):
So eventually the goal is you become so open minded and aware
just in such a place of consciousness that it's not
about your experience. And you don't have to be right.
You don't have to prove anything.
But yeah, I thought that was interesting, the jumping to
conclusions rather than like, letting things play out as they
want to. Yeah.

(39:32):
Your gift from the gods, a primal enthusiasm for life, an
ability to find meaning in chaos.
Love that, The synchronicities. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, the a primal enthusiasm.
Enthusiasm is such a good word that needs to be included.
Here there is retriever energy. It is golden retriever energy
and it's just like, why not makelife happy?

(39:56):
Like, let's, let's enjoy it. Yeah, throw the ball, do it
again. More.
Wow, maybe this ball will be thrown 3 inches to the left.
What would that be? Like, yeah.
Oh, I love that. Lastly, he always has a helpful
wisdom for this placement, and Ithink this is beautiful.
Experience brings wisdom. A lack of wisdom brings

(40:18):
experience. Is that fun?
Yeah. I love Steven Forrest.
I love. I love.
Problematic. We're like any white man out
there. Please, can we?

(40:43):
Oh, our millennial feminism is showing in the best way.
OK. Me begging that this appointment
is OK. Oh God.
Oh, OK. Anyway, thank you Steven Forrest
so much for this, for us, for being such a staple reference in
our podcast. Absolutely.

(41:06):
And so now on to our rotating reference.
We are back with some Alice sparkly cat.
So this is what she had to say about Jupiter and Sagittarius.
Jupiter and Sagittarius doesn't like to doubt.
It likes to believe. And yes, like, why?
There's no time. There's no time for that
negativity. Like there's no time for
doubting. Let's trust.
Let's believe. Yeah.
She also says Jupiter and Sagittarius can be a great

(41:27):
teacher. Yes, it loves to travel.
Yes. Jupiter and Pisces and Cancer
also share these loves. What makes Jupiter and
Sagittarius unique? It's a party animal.
And. And I just love that.
It's like, yes, great teacher, loves to travel.
OK, these Pisces and Cancer can do that too.
But you know what they can't do?Party animal.
That's what Jupiter and Sage does well.

(41:49):
And that's like, man, it does. It does do party.
Animal well. Absolutely, and that dad, if
you're listening, I'm sure you can confirm visiting college
campus and he's like, that's where we pulled the beer truck
in under and I was like, cool, good to know.
Oh my gosh, no, but that I can absolutely confirm with my dad.

(42:10):
He can throw a party. All righty, Alice.
Sparkly Cat continues to say. God, does Jupiter and
Sagittarius have charisma? They have this way of saying
something completely hilarious that they are also dead serious
about. They know how to make you
playful about an idea, but without losing intellectual
rigor. They love to debate, but they

(42:30):
don't challenge you per SE. That's not their energy,
exactly. Their desire isn't to say the
last word, but to ask the right questions.
They want to inspire you. Oh.
I really like that. I feel like she said a lot with
that. Yeah.
Yeah. Without losing intellectual
rigor. I think that comes, like we've
mentioned, with time that you start to learn to not, you know,

(42:52):
dumb yourself down or be the clown because this could
absolutely be clown energy. But when you really do use this
energy for the, you know, seeking meaning throughout life,
then, yeah, you don't lose that intellectual rigor.
And I also think that deliveringsomething that they're very
serious about in a hilarious way, I think that's default
Sagittarian nature of like, well, this is a heavy topic, but

(43:16):
if I say it with a smile, we're gonna laugh about it.
Like there's something there's something there that is
definitely legit. And and I like that about it's
not yes, Fireside always gonna have ego, but there is like a
little bit less with Sagittariusin the like.
I'd rather have conversation. So not having to have that last.

(43:38):
Word in the same way as anyone. Yeah, yeah.
And I like the asking the right questions.
That was good. Yeah.
Continuing on Jupiter and Sagittarius has a philosophy.
Their philosophy is as follows, More is merrier and that I
really do agree. It's that more is more.
But with the social Jupiter nature, it's the more people we

(44:02):
have, the more ideas we have, the better.
It's so interesting for me having Jupiter in Scorpio, like
I, I worry about more diluting the intention behind something,
you know, where if we have more of everything, then, you know,
it's like when you have a group project in school or whatever,
like less is going to get done with intention and with like the

(44:27):
proper focus because you're dealing with so many more
personalities. But Sagittarius here isn't
focused on, you know, achieving anything.
It's focused on like, what kind of experience is this going to
be? Yeah, it's it's not focused on
going deep, it's focused on going wide.
Like we're not trying to get to the depths of something.
We're trying to get to the breadth of something, you know,

(44:49):
and the more that we like, if there's more people holding
hands, we can like extend farther.
Whereas that Scorpio is like I am putting the intention behind
it so pure so that I can get. That to the bottom, yeah.
Yeah, so she continues to say about that.
Masses, you know, more is merrier.
The masses hold immense power. Jupiter and Sagittarius knows

(45:11):
this. It wants all of us to realize
this potential together. That's why it doesn't see itself
as an individual, but as a part of something greater.
Totally. Yeah, that really that's what we
talked about. And then lastly from Ellis,
Barkley, Cat, Jupiter and Sagittarius is all accepting.
If you laugh with them, they laugh with you.
If you argue with them, they argue with you.

(45:34):
If you are quiet around them, they let you do your thing.
These people don't really have any expectations about other
people behaving a certain way. They actually just want people
to come together and be really eccentrically themselves all at
once. That's the only way to build a
big team. Yeah, that's awesome.
I love that. That's again that like really
high frequency, a really beautiful expression.

(45:56):
Yes, Jupiter and Sage. In high frequency Jupiter and
Sage, it's like come as you are,but if we're all here together
then we can make something even greater.
Yeah. So the next segment that we've
got is talking about a public figure.
And today we're gonna talk aboutEckhart Tolle, which I've always

(46:19):
thought it was Eckhart Tolle, but I think it's actually
Eckhart Tolle. OK, great.
Thank you. So we're going to talk about his
Jupiter and Sagittarius. I'm going to give a little brief
overview of, you know, some stuff about his life.
I did Google to make sure he wasn't problematic.
I was like, is there anything I should be worried about?

(46:39):
Which I guess the only. It's so interesting because I
wouldn't see these as problematic.
You know, like in cancel culture, which that alone I
don't like really believe is whatever.
We aren't going to get into thatright now.
But there were controversies about, you know, his beliefs and
his spiritual kind of sharings and stuff like that.
And I'm like, well, that's not problematic.

(47:00):
That's just people disagreeing or not.
You know, it's just like, oh, this is his belief and not
everybody is going to share the same belief.
So anyway, we're going to talk about Eckhart Tolle, look at his
chart a little bit and see a little bit more mitigating
factors, so how more than just his Jupiter in Sagittarius is
showing up in this chart and other planets that are affecting

(47:21):
his Jupiter placement. And maybe you'll relate to some
of what he also has. I will say we don't have a birth
time for him, so we don't know what house his Jupiter is in.
We don't have his rising, but Eckhart Tolle, born February
16th, 1948, is a spiritual teacher and best selling author
known for The Power of Now and aNew Earth.
His early life was marked by a difficult childhood in post war

(47:43):
Germany and a deep struggle withanxiety and depression
throughout his youth and early adulthood.
In his late 20s, during a periodof extreme despair, he
experienced a sudden inner awakening that dissolved his
sense of self and radically shifted his perception of life.
Following this experience, he spent several years living in a
state of deep presence and simplicity before gradually

(48:04):
beginning to share his insights with others.
Though not tied to one particular faith Totally draws
from Buddhism, Christian mysticism, Sufism, Sufism, and
other traditions, distilling their wisdom into a universal
message centered on stillness, presence, and inner peace.
His teachings gained worldwide recognition after his teachings

(48:24):
gained worldwide recognition after the Power of Now became a
global best seller, translated into dozens of languages and
recommended by Oprah Winfrey. Today, Tolley continues to teach
through books, talks and online platforms, offering guidance to
millions of people seeking spiritual clarity and liberation
from suffering. And I think that just one like
obvious thing we can say here isthat he went real broad.

(48:47):
He went global. He was this man from Germany who
was able to impact people in many, many, many different
countries and is quite well known in the US too.
So his broadcasting was just this natural.
It was just naturally going to happen in his life because of

(49:08):
that Jupiter and Sag placement. Yeah, Jupiter being broadcasting
Sagittarius, you know, with thatlike multicultural, just like
travel, expansive nature and philosophies.
I mean, I don't know, like I haven't read anything or like,
you know, fully looked into anything by Eckhart Tolle, but I
like the name immediately is associated with philosophy for
me. Like that's just like that when

(49:30):
when we're talking about philosophers, when we're talking
about philosophies, Eckhart Tolle is a name that immediately
pops into my brain. And that's how you can like just
that Jupiter in, you know, Sagittarius influence.
Exactly being a household name in, you know, a global way, like
not just a household American name or European name, like, you

(49:52):
know, a global name. And that is the power of
Sagittarius and that's the powerof Jupiter, like philosophy
expanded worldwide. And also I feel like that is a
high vibration of Jupiter and Sagittarius because they're it
from just briefly what you, you know, read, it seems to be very

(50:15):
all inclusive, like, you know, like taking different, you know,
inspiration from all different types of faiths.
Yeah. Not a particular one, which
makes it something that is accessible around the world.
So that feels so extra Jupiter and Sagittarius to me.
Yeah. It's almost saying, well, like
what's the broadest thing that we can take from Buddhism, from

(50:35):
Christian mysticism, mysticism, Sufism, etcetera, And that is
like Jupiter and Sagittarius, like, well, how do all of these
that are seemingly so different from one another come together?
What is the connection here? And that kind of talks about
what we already discussed with Jupiter and Sag being like, oh,
well, you and you, like, seemingly have nothing in
common, but I can find the thingin common between you because

(50:57):
I'm going to be the thing that is in common with both of you.
Yeah, Yeah. Yeah.
And so I thought that was reallyinteresting.
I also loved, I mean it, it's his son is an Aquarius.
So then we have this like idealism, humanitarian efforts.
It's in a sextal to his Jupiter. So we can really see not just
that he's being broadcast throughout his life because of

(51:18):
his ideals, but his son, The waythat he's shining his identity
is about not being just himself. It's about being something
bigger than himself and finding this large like minded community
across the globe and believing in something good and
humanitarian for the future. Yeah, there is that.
Like there's that also, you know, both Sagittarius and

(51:43):
Aquarius can have that kind of, you know, moral high ground
energy, but they can also reallyhave that non judgmental energy
because they're like, I can see so far and wide in such a vast
perspective that I'm not I'm actively not excluding anybody

(52:04):
here. Yeah, which is interesting.
One of the things that I did seewhen I looked up, like, is this
guy problematic? And it was really just people
being like, he's controversial or not everybody agrees, is that
there was a little bit of spiritual elitism that's been
brought up with Eckhart Tolle, which I think is true.
I mean, I think people could saythat of us, right?
Like that if you are not in alignment, the same things that

(52:25):
we're saying, like you might seewhat we're saying is like kind
of elitist or, you know, exclusive, but not that it's
meaning to exclude anyone, but just that you're not in
alignment with what we're thinking, just like we're not in
alignment with what you're thinking, right?
It's not like an act of exclusion.
And I think with both Aquarius and Sagittarius, we do have sort
of this possibility of being perceived in your ego and as

(52:50):
like higher than others and likeabsolutely this position.
Especially just in this, you know, both of these a different
type of seeking knowledge. And when you have that much
knowledge that you're that that's what you're basing your
life on and your philosophies onwhere it's like, yes, well, I
know all of these things. And, and so of course, if you
don't know these things, it can be seen as I know more than you.

(53:14):
And like, there is a certain level of when Sagittarius,
Aquarius can make someone feel like, Oh, I know more than you.
And then there's sometimes a literal, factual, I, I know more
than you because I have read more like just by, you know, I,
I've read more books, therefore I know more book knowledge.
And so there is that kind of like which way is it being
perceived, you know, and or which way is it being delivered?

(53:35):
Right, exactly. I think something that is not
mitigating as Jupiter and Sag atall, but I thought really
interesting to know was his Taurus moon.
Because when we come down to hisphilosophy, it's all about
stillness and presence. And you know, it's kind of the
antithesis of Sagittarius energy, right?
Where Sag just like go on adventures, explore and

(53:56):
understand the world through your experiences.
His philosophy, which is what he's so well known for, is
actually based in his Taurus Moon of being still and present
and living in simplicity. And I wouldn't be surprised if
maybe he was a Virgo rising, which would put this moon in the
9th house right of his philosophy and of what he's

(54:19):
broadcasting. Oh, I really like that.
I really I, I love that Taurus moon because it is this like in
order to feel good, we need to be present.
We need to be still. We need to be, you know, taking
care of your excessive. Need, yeah.

(54:39):
Yes, yes, which goes against Jupiter and sad, which is more
is more. But then you see why the whole
chart comes into play because it's like, no, but what makes me
feel good is actually when I reign it in and I take care of
my basic needs and I and I really am here and now in this
moment. Mm hmm.
The strongest aspect that we've got to his Jupiter and Sag is

(55:02):
his Uranus in Gemini. So they are exactly opposite one
another. I mean, they're within 1° of
this opposition to one another. So we've got Jupiter when, you
know, again, we've got almost Aquarian Sagittarius connections
here because Uranus rules Aquarius.
So we've got this much almost innovative thinking, the sort of

(55:25):
like, OK, he's a little out there for the times or a little
out there for what most people are sort of spewing in this
time. And we can really see that he's
being innovative through his word, his written word right in
Gemini. And we can, yeah, just see that
his Jupiter and his life's experience is not about himself.

(55:45):
It's about the collective experience with Uranus being
opposing that. I love that that's extra Uranian
influence with that, you know, sun and Aquarius and then you
you can't have an opposition without that tug of war seesaw
like they're going to be energizing one another.
They're going to be tugging on one another.

(56:07):
And so there's there is this like talking about it too, you
know, like they're, I mean, Gemini, is that like
communication? It's let's talk about our
philosophies, not just live by them, not just talk in this
group, but let's really broadcast it because we've got
Uranus in Gemini over here. And you know, and you also

(56:28):
mentioned like early childhood, like and then having a really
kind of intense experience that then brought all of this about
and uranium nature is unexpecteddivine insights that come in out
of nowhere. And that being what's tugging on
that Jupiter and Sage, that checks out too.
Yeah. And, and you have to imagine

(56:49):
that, you know, like, nowhere inthis did I read like, and he
traveled to Bali or New Delhi, you know, like he didn't go
traveling to discover himself. So I imagine that during this
time of deep despair, what really took him out of it was
this sudden awakening within hisown mind, right?
This sudden mental revelation and rewiring of the way he

(57:10):
thinks. And then to decide, I'm going to
write this all out and I'm goingto broadcast and make sure it's
as public as possible. So all of that coming from
within the mind, as opposed to what we've talked about this
entire hour about Jupiter and Sag being like, oh, they're
going to gain experience and wisdom through life experiences.
Like no, here's an example wherethe rest of the chart is going

(57:30):
to tell us a something a little bit different about that Jupiter
and Sag and how it expresses itself.
And how your life experience canbe some sort of awakening that
you have in your own home, in your own mind.
That is a life experience, yeah.Yeah.
So there's some other things too, like I just noted that his

(57:50):
Jupiter is in somewhat. Yeah, they're trines with Mars
and Saturn both in Leo. So again, there's this focus
towards self discovery, self actualization, connection with
your heart space. Doing something with all of this
information, learning something with all of this, you know, like

(58:12):
Saturn challenging you to, you know, not just challenging you
to master and then Mars challenging you to do.
Yeah, yeah. So that's Eckhart Tolle's chart.
If you have this placement, you got this in common with them.
And let us know what other planets are, you know,

(58:33):
mitigating or affecting your Jupiter and Sagittarius.
Let us know if you find any aspects.
So, you know, conjunctions, trine squares, oppositions.
If you don't know what those mean, you should go check out
