Inspired by G. K. Chesterton, C. S. Lewis, and N. T. Wright in various ways, Scott takes us through a sustained meditation on the hinge episode in John’s Gospel, the resurrection of Lazarus. Punctuated with poetry throughout, Sager makes a cogent case for how the church needs poets in a day when soundbytes, Twitter and social media dominate the headlines. It is arranged so that people can use it as a study guide for 12 weeks in a small group.
