We had the opportunity to continue our conversation with Wade & Shannon Cooperrider, this time getting into the specifics of what ministry looks like in Nicaragua. Sarah gets us into the interview, but we have a special guest host, our Missions Pastor Jamie Engram who leads the conversation. Jamie and The Cooperriders met in the studio to talk through day-to-day life and ministry in Nicaragua. There are so many stories and opportunities that are shared that we can't pack it all here in the show notes. You'll hear about life in Nicaragua, how they were catapulted into leadership with an organization, how the Desert Springs' church plant in La Paz Centro came about, what furlough in the U.S. looks like and so much more (seriously, so much more!). We would highly encourage you to listen to this episode as it will feel full circle to the three episodes shared earlier this month. Wade and Shannon both challenge all of us to closely follow the Lord and do what He says whatever that means in the context we're in. Make sure you check out the links below to connect with Wade + Shannon!
We have a team from our church heading to work with Wade + Shannon in March so make sure you're praying for them! More trip opportunities will be available soon. Don't forget, you can also learn more at our Missions Connect Wall in the Desert Springs lobby. Let's be praying for all of our missionaries!
Pray for The Cooperrider's Family: Reta (Wade's mom), Nathan (son), Natalie + Casey (daughter and son-in-law)
