What is “The Day of the Dead” and what’s the reason so many people love to celebrate this day on the calendar? Historically, the Day of the Dead is known as a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of deceased relatives for a reunion. They celebrate with food, drink and remembrances from the past.
According to tradition, “The gates of heaven are opened at midnight on October 31st and children can rejoin their families for 24 hours. The spirits of adults can do the same on November 2nd”.
Join Mark Anthony and I as we discuss all things associated with both this holiday and Halloween. Be prepared for the “chills and thrills” of the season!
