(00:00):
Hi, welcome to The Talent Trade.

(00:02):
This is Stephanie Maas with ThinkingAhead Executive Search.
This is one of my all time favorite times of the year.
It is my all time favorite time of the year.
Happy holidays.
I love the music.
I love the food.
I love the festivities.
Yes.
I'm one of those annoying people that's already been listening to Christmas music since October, but I love it.

(00:25):
And here is why I grew up in a family where my parents made a Huge deal about Christmas.
We were the only ones in our family on both sides of my parents family that lived out of state.
My parents didn't have a ton of money.
We had plenty, but not a ton.
So they would truly save up all year long to make sure that we had a really good Christmas holiday.

(00:48):
Fun filled morning.
We also took that time to slow down.
Both of my parents worked full time to get together with friends and people who were like family, even though they weren't, because that's who we relied on when we lived out of state from everybody else to really say, Hey, thank you.
I love you.
Thank you for this time.
We appreciate your friendship.
So for me going into this holiday.

(01:11):
Every year brings back all those incredibly positive memories.
It's an amazing time to get back together with all of our family that we haven't seen for months on end.
And I'm so appreciative for that opportunity.
So what's my point, especially knowing this is kind of a professional platform, even though I can't be together with all of you.

(01:33):
I wish every year that I could not in a weird like Christmas morning kind of way, but you know what?
I'm so thankful for our partnership, for our working relationship.
The fact that you would invite me into your professional world.
Sometimes I knock pretty loudly, so it's hard not to let me in, but I'm just so thankful.
So during this time of year, I don't do a lot in terms of sending out cards and I can't have a happy hour that I invite you all to unless you just happen to be in Nashville.

(01:58):
But I don't want the season to go by without you knowing how thankful I am for you professionally.
So thank you.
Thank you so much to my clients.
Thank you so much to my candidates.
Thank you to those of you that aren't clients or candidates yet or anymore.
I thank you so much for the time you give me throughout the year for taking my calls, returning my calls, letting me know you professionally, letting me represent you.

(02:28):
Cheesy as it is.
I know I absolutely love what I do for a living and I am so thankful that I get to work with folks like you each and every day and provide the livelihood for my family that we can provide.
So as we approach this holiday season, Whatever you want to call it, just know I am so much gratitude towards you and thank you and hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
