In This Episode

Radhika Dutt discussed her book Radical Product Thinking, which tackles how to build transformative products while avoiding common pitfalls like “pivotitis.” She also gave a sneak peek into her upcoming book, due in late 2026, which examines why traditional goal-setting often fails. In it, she introduces OHLs (Objectives, Hypotheses, and Learnings)—a powerful framework for effective learning and problem-solving.

Radhika emphasized the importance of framing tasks as puzzles to energize teams, and explained how detailed vision statements can help leaders clearly communicate purpose and direction. She also shared insights on empathetic delegation, encouraging leaders to assign responsibilities based on team strengths and competencies. Drawing from her first startup, Lobby Seven, Radhika reflected on the lasting lesson that clear problem statements and vision are the foundation of meaningful innovation.
