get into it. I don't wantto talk about the Philly tweet that we
had today that everybody's getting mad about. So I did not straight I just

heard about it. I didn't seethe tweet until now. I want to
know your reaction. I thought,do you have the audio, Jeremy,
I thought you said, I thoughtyou said underperformed this season, and I
would have gotten annoyed about that.I don't think they've underperformed this season.
I think that then you have theeighteenth best line up in baseball with all
that money, and yeah, theyhave the first best rotation if you look
at that four so that they're thefourth best team in the end. I

think they underperformed for the first thirteengames. They haven't underperformed since April twelfth.
I I would say they have.Look, I mean, they're gonna
make the playoffs and every but yeah, I think they're they're underperforming to the
standards that we want them to be. I mean, it's gonna be close
right there to six and a half. No, I won't be that close.

I think it will. I don'tthink it. I think with the
lineup like this, it's gonna bereally tough to I mean, they're gonna
they're gonna make the postseason. It'sprobably gonna be right around what eighty six
to eighty seven wins. I wouldsay, maybe eighty eight. But yeah,
I mean, when when the lineupsunderperforming like that and you only have
one player in Brandon Mars who wasan eight hundred os, they're underperforming.

They're on pace for eighty seven anda half wins right now. That's including
the four and nine that they obviouslystarted the season with, and they haven't
had a stretch really like that since. So if you take you know,
since, then you take what they'vebeen and that's fifty five and thirty eight
or no, I did that.I did terrible math. They're terrible that
they're fifty five and forty two.So obviously that's thirteen games over five hundred.

You play at that pace, you'replaying at a ninety three win pace.
I'm not saying they'll win ninety threegames. I think they win ninety
one. I think they win ninetytwo, which is more than they won
last year, and it's gonna beI think, well over their win total.
So that's my opinion on that.They still have the most home games
remaining, They still have the easiestschedule remaining of the wild card teams.
They have the fourth best record inthe NL. I think, like the

eighth or ninth best record in baseball. I think great, it's not all
bad. I'm not trying to sayit's, you know, terrible. And
I think this lineup should be performingmuch better than it has. I should
be a top ten lineup easily,and I think if it was, the
lineup is underperformed. I don't reallyI don't have a problem with that,
but I don't think the what gameis underperformed as a whole. If you're
thirteen games over five hundreds and Sapriltwelve, I well, if you add

everything together, I would say yes. I mean, you can't just take
away the first one month and ahalf thirteen games. Thirteen games is like
a week, two weeks, twoand a half weeks. I think they
started four and nine and they're thirteengames over five hundred since then. So
that's what I keep coming back to. I was as mad as anyone when
they were four and nine. Iwas just concerned and frustrated and saying,
this is building yourself a hole that'sgoing to be annoying to get out of,
and we're probably not going to getany the respect if we have a

good street, right. So Ithink exactly what's happened. They've been the
second best team in baseball since Junefirst. They've been a top five team
in baseball since April twelfth, Like, they've been a top five team in
baseball for ninety percent of the season, but they went four and nine to
start the year, so that theyplayed their playing catch up all year.
Yeah, they've been trying to playcatch up and at least, it's me
looking ahead in a way because thepitching has been so good, but you're

not winning with the eighteenth best lineup in baseball. You're just not doing
But part I don't care how goodthe pitching is. So the thing is
really this is the blind is bad. It's not good. It's very it's
very bad. There's some there's somestats that would have him at fifteen,
sixteenth if it depends if you're lookingat woar aps woe, but it depends
you're looking at no matter what,they're right in the middle. And what
I'd say to that is Bryce misseda month and a half. Bryce has

had absolutely no power. Trey Turnershad power. I disagree with that.
He's had more power in the lastmonth, but it's not going to be
it's not gonna be what he's usedto. Maybe he's not a thirty five
home run guy, but if he'sa twenty five home run guy, that
probably bumps them from like fifteenth tolike tenth, like eleven. I think
that that's a pretty big, massivegap. And every time someone gets hot

on this team, we've seen it, like Schwarber in June. It rides
the tides. They were a topfive offense in June. So it rides
the tides when someone gets hot,and I do think we have a good
amount of guys. We saw JTfor four months last year be a thousand
ops guy. We've seen Kyle Schwarberhave these huge months. We've seen how
did this turn into Phillies. We'resupposed to talk sommerslam, and we've seen
Bryce Harper obviously be Bryce Harper,and even the last couple. I think

the last week he's probably struggled,but he had a two week stretch before
that where he was hitting home runsagain, he was sitting for doubles again,
he was hitting too gaps again.And obviously you look at his clutch
numbers, he's been unreal. He'sbeen very clutch. So I think you'd
probably add a little it to hisnon clutch numbers, take a little bit
from the clutch numbers, and hispower comes back even fifty percent. I
think the offense concerns are a littlebit lessen, but obviously it's gonna come

down a lot to Trey Turner andwhat happens with Trey Turner the rest of
the way, he's as Turner,Schuber and Castianos. But there the Schuber
thing, and I know you're notas far gone on. It's just it
seems like a down year for him. Down year for sure. But the
thing I'd say the defense hurts himbecause him having to play as much defense
as he has is brutal, andthat's gonna hurt his you know, the

way he's looked at because he's terribleat it. He was signed to be
a DH He's gonna hit like threeless home runs than he hit last year.
He's gonna walk about thirty more timesthan he walked last year. He's
played every single game. Um,he's just hitting less singles. He's gonna
actually gonna have more doubles and triples, he's just hitting less singles. Like
that's in terms of the pace thathe's on for and it's here it's hurt
his ops. His opps better thanit was last season. Whereas this insane

that his average is forty percent fortypoints lower, I would imagine his slugging
is very down. It's down downby about down by about forty fifty points,
down back about forty fifty points.But because bys is still in the
seven fifties, and you know,When Kyle Sharber is on, he is
a very low He's like an eightfifty. Yeah, yeah around there,

which since a that's a big dropoff. And you know, I love
Bryson Stot. Bryson Stot's been amazing, So I don't want to say that
he's he's a problem. He's notthe problem. But he's not Bryce Harper
when he's on, he's not Yeah, you know, he's a pure hitter.
But yeah, pure hitter. That'sthat's probably going to be, you
know, just under an eight hundredops, you know. And I'm like,
all these marks, I'm not sayingthat that means they're bad. Bryson

sid Is obviously turned out to bea very good hitter, and in a
way, you know, probably he'sgoing to improve. But it's just not
they need Turner, they need Schwarber, they need Castianos, and Castianos maybe
getting better. I think it's abit of uh. He said, batting
practice. The last at least lastnight was batting practice. Even if I
got Jordan Lyles is terrible, awfuljoke. That's been the most concerning Castianos

was a cookie. It's the mostconcerning off fence from night of the year.
But Cassie. The thing about thatwe don't need all of them to
be hot, Like Cassie Allens wasterrible in the postseason last year, He's
then terrible. Whole year they hadwas replacing was what you offered. You
had Bryce having one of the mosthistoric postseason runs, and you had Scher
playing well. You had jayt plannedreally wells Reecee Hoskins, but he was

so huge when he was huge exactly, and he was good in September,
so that those are the things thatthat help out. Yeah, he came
up with some really big home runs, but yeah, he was kind of
on and off. Was really honestlyBryce and Schuber mostly, but Bryce,
Bryce Carry. It was unbelievable towatch that. The lack of power is
concerning. I will say, ifyou took out the four and ninth Star,
I think they're probably like ten oreleventh in offense. And I know

you can't just wipe the four andnine start clean. It's not a different
ball club. I'm not saying itis, but I do think it's worth
pointing out like they were. Noone's arguing that they I think they were
like thirtieth in offense. The firsttwo weeks I remember because they had the
two straight games they got shut out. And I think even in the past
month and a half they've been atleast I know July that they weren't good.
I think they were like twenty firstor twentieth. Yeah, but I

think if you'd looked at it sincethose first thirteen games, they're probably top
twitch. But I mean, what'sit. I guess what's fun about this
argument is like there are a lotof things and a lot of months that
you go, oh, they're great, they're amazing, and then there's a
lot of months you go, oh, my gosh, is a terrible thing.
They are just an odd team.They are overall, they're odd even
when they're terrible. Besides that firstfour and nine stretch, they're going like

five hundred and that stretch like they'refinding ways to win games, like the
resilience. And here's where I justI would love to see finally. You
know, you spe you put allthat money in, you have guys that
are I think the lead talents.I would like to see him, you
know, be However, many gamesover five hundred, like the Dodgers or
the Braves, those are the onlytwo in the American League, you know,
but that's but the Phillies are spendingmoney to be that, and I

want them to be close to that. And you know, it's not that
they're they're going to miss the walk. I'm with you, They're gonna make
it. But you know, Iwould not like them to be fighting,
you know, a game or twoaway from missing a walk spot. I
totally agree, and I totally they'resuch a shober led to the thing I'd
say has been that way his wholecareer. The thing I'd say is the
reason that the NL is having lessof these teams because it's so much better

deeper in terms of like there's somany more teams competing than there were,
and then there are in the ALin the middle. The middle is a
little bit better than the American League, and the seller is not as bad.
We don't have Kansas City, wedon't have Oaklub. So there's these
teams that are getting free wins inthe AL. And to the payroll concern,
obviously not where we want to be. But look at the other top
teams on the payroll besides the Dodgers, San Diego, the Mets, the

Yankees, UM and I'm forgetting anotherone that is I hate to say the
concern, but yeah, I meanthere's a lot of examples of teams underperforming
based off of how much money they'vespent, and but that could be troublesome.
I think sometimes Phillies fans need tohave a little perspective and look at
those situations and be like, oh, it could be so much worse.
It could be, Yeah, itcould be completely terrible. And here's the

other thing I'll say, and thisis about that could be the let's just
it could be exactly. This isthe thing I'd say about the resiliency point
that I brought up. Like peoplealways say like, oh, it's not
why they lose games, it's howthey lose games, and the trade turner
brute and the ball and that's sofrustrating. But they those people aren't the
people looking at how they win gamestoo. Like Castiano's hitting that home run
in the nine, like Harper hasbeen clutched, has been very good in

those spots. They've been scoring positions. The second best team in baseball and
one run games. Yeah, likeso they might lose that, which is
amazing of course. And Rob Thompsonhas a big hand in that. Absolutely
absolutely, yeah, you and Nickfor con I. It's funny Jeremy's expecting
me and Nick for Cooon to goat it. I should have had you
guys on at the same time.You guys gonna yelled about Rob Thompson from
Oh he doesn't like Thompson. Ithink he's Okay, it's hashtick, but

you know, I love Nick bythe way, but um he's he's uh,
yeah he. I think he's notsaying fire Rob Thompson, but I
think he gets frustrated to some ofthe decisions. I think they're where they're
at now and able to overcome alot of the lineup issues because of Thompson.
I think I think Thompson is helpingout with the pitching staff and bullpen.
Look, it's a talented pitching staff, but I mean the way he's
handled the bullpen, it's it's prettyspectacular. I think, obviously, you're

gonna make bad moves. It's notthat every single game Rob Thompson's going to
make the best moves. But Ithink overall he's been fairly good at it.
I think he's been an average managerthis year. To be quite honest,
I think he's been average, andI think the guys love him.
So if the guys love him,I think that's at least half the bats
a certain point because a lot ofthe questions come with the line up,
Well, why don't you guys movingthings up and down? Because everybody's not

doing well and their record when Schuberhits in the leadoff is by better than
he's good, and they they thebeginning of the year, they put Price
in ston leadoff spot and he wasterrible. And let's say he's better.
He's probably a better player now.Yeah, then he has been obviously,
but it doesn't automatically mean oh,well, he's better now, so just
move him up to number one.It doesn't work like that. And if
you didn't have a problem with schuberbattand leadoff last year, then you shouldn't
this year because he's better. Yeah, he's literally better. He's, by

the way, in the same amountof plate appearance, Like he's reached five
hundred walks or not five hundred walks. It's a higher number'd be amazing.
He's really no, I think itis not this year. I'm saying in
general, he's reached the amount ofwalks he's reached at this point of his
career faster than Barry Bonds did atBarry Bond's point of his career. And
Coleswarb's walk great this year is thebest of his career. Ye, he's
He's an ungodly walk guy. It'samazing. It's amazing to see that because

Bom has been Boom has been verygood. But the problem is like his
Yeah, and so his OPS isonly what twenty points higher than Schwarber.
We're thinking of Schwarber's struggling and they'rereally not that far off. You know,
doesn't walk, doesn't walk, Trade, doesn't walk. Jane helps.
What helps Dodd is Dodd is sucha good contact hitter, Yeah, and

Bom is not quite. Bom canbe bone for stretches can be a great
because I think he's in one ofthose stretches right now where his average is
like over three hundred eight, Yeah, three fifty. And that can work
if you're doing it like Luis Arise, where you're doing it at such a
high rate. Yeah, your opsis going to be good, and it's
really good in the last like twoor three once you're hitting twenty yeah once.
But Stod is so consistent, moreconsistent that you know his he's going

to be, you know, Ithink a more valuable play. And one
last thing on Stott in the philisbecause we do have to get the summer
sign. But one last thing onStott, I will just say his walk
rate is not like it's really low. It's not what you'd think it would
be at all when you watch him. He's so good at working counts,
he's so good at working pitches,like he sees a lot more pitches than
anyone. But on the end ofthis is truly a guy that's going to

be fighting for like batting crowd foraverage. But I also think in the
future we'll see him walk more.Like I think, right, that'll come.
He's seeing so many pitches and he'sbeen so good at hitting with two
strikes, Eventually that will translate.Yeah, I don't think he's ever gonna
be a high walk rate guy.I mean, especially in the way,
is not like it's gonna get highenough where Yeah, his best years are
probably gonna be you know, hison base percentage is gonna be a little

bit higher. He's gonna have athree hundred average, but that ops is
gonna follow, you know, andI think his best year is probably are
like a fifteen eight twenty ops.I'll take that. Every that's like that.
You know that's a homegrown guy givingyou that type of numbers. It's

Sidetracking him with Brock, one ofthe biggest attraction people were. People

the rumors Ronda is taking is apparentlyjust be leaving. So I think Shana
is becoming a star and is gonnawin Charlotte Bianca sub banger Bianca. It

minds to be a heel in Bianca. Heel put her with Lashly in the
Street Project, because I mean Charlotteand Charlotte and Bianca. You could put
it on either of those and befine, and they could just give Charlotte
title again and everything's good. ButI don't know if any of them really

night. So they're starting to domore Japanese promos and she's just going creasing
there and they have subtitles to seewhat's going on. But it's a whole

it to Charlotte Flair. She's thegreatest women wrestler of all time. I
want her to win the match tonight. By the way, I won't be
mad if any of them win thematch. I think it all makes sense
for all three of them. Biancaactually I agree. I do think she
needs a hell turn. I thinkshe needs a fresh and heal that n

I think it's her Charlotte probably.I think she might be a little better

I think Priests can absolutely cash intonight. I think it's a very

likely scenario turmoil judgment day. Here'smy fantasy booking. I pitched it to
Nick Pacoon. I don't know ifyou heard it. I don't care who
has the belt after this, butmy take is Priest and Finn have to
turn on each other in some capacityto night and set up a Finn priest
feud to get priest ready to bethat main event or whether that's Finn winning
the belt and priest cashing in,whether that's Priest costing Finn the belt and

Seth keeps the belt and it's apriest Finn, one of them turns face,
one of them is a heel.But I think you break that up.
It's feud, Yeah, it's It'sprobably the most interesting part of that.
I think it would help priest alot to be with a confirmed like
main event guy and Finn and youhave that big feud breaking out of the
judgment day. Whether that be priesttaking over the judgment day, whether that
be Finn taking over the judgment dayand kicking Priest out. I don't know

what it is. I don't knowif Seth's leaving after tonight. That's the
rumor, But I like the ideaof making those two feud after joining Becky
and Florida. That's the rumor.What I think would be interesting is that
a Seth wins. By the way, if Seth wins and priests cash in
on Seth, because they had asegment where they said, all right,
Finn gets them first, and thenDamian you can deal with whatever happens after.
And if Finn loses clean and thenDamian Priest wins the title, Finnvalor

is still gonna be upset about it, and that sets up some great jealous
you know what. I like evenmore than yet because they're running row and
they are the only they are thebest interesting thing on roll rate. If
Priest comes in, cashes in,makes it a triple threat and pins Finn,
