Being an LGBTQ+ individual comes with its own share of joys and challenges. How are those challenges exacerbated when one decides to come out during training? Dr. William Johansen, a new attending physician, shares his personal journey of coming out during. He speaks candidly about what allowed him to thrive and what he would like to see change within training program infrastructure as it pertains to support for LGBTQ+ trainees.
