Bruce (00:03):
It's time, what time is
it?
It's time for the Ugly QuackingDuck Podcast and a brand new
episode.
All right, man, that was good.
Sunny (00:25):
All right, I think that
was good too, and you got a bell
.
That was even cooler.
Bruce (00:35):
I agree, Sunny, and hello
, welcome aboard.
Sunny (00:39):
Well, thank you, bruce,
I'm glad to be aboard and let's
go.
Bruce (00:46):
All right, are you ready?
We'll say hello together.
Thank you, bruce.
I'm glad to be aboard and let'sgo.
All right, are you ready?
We'll say hello together.
One, two, three, helloeverybody.
All right, that was really good.
We synced it really good thattime.
So, everybody, welcome to the93rd episode of the Ugly
Quacking Duck Podcast.
(01:09):
We're getting really good atthat.
But yes, 93rd episode.
Sunny (01:16):
Why the 93rd?
Bruce (01:17):
I thought we was on the
31st well, yes and yes, um, this
is a season five, episode 31.
But originally I started outand, uh, we did what?
Uh, two months, three months onmy thing's just too much, I
(01:43):
don't remember, but anyway onbuzz sprouts, free um hosting
program.
And then, once we got done withthe two or three months, then
we started a pay program andwhat that meant is the first few
episodes they didn't is thefirst few episodes they didn't
(02:04):
keep.
So we was at like five or six Idon't remember what the count
was before it started recordingand keeping those.
Now I've got those on mydatabase at home and I could
upload them if I needed to, butthey were the first few.
(02:27):
So we started out, you you know, with season one and then we had
a um season two that was asci-fi we tried to work out
didn't work real good, and Ithink we did it, or was it two?
That one of the other seasonswas when we tried to record.
The seasons was when we triedto record interviews with people
and we tried to separate thoseand the sci-fi stories with
(02:54):
different seasons.
That way, you know, you'd havea season two that was all sci-fi
and you'd go one, two, three, four, but anyway they actually
added up to a certain amount.
So once we got to season five, the podcast and episodes kind of
started lining out and startedfeeling more comfortable.
(03:15):
We got our equipment lined out,our vocals lined out sort of
Not perfect, but it was going alot more smoothly, if I could
say that.
Sunny (03:29):
Are you going to get
through with this pretty soon?
Bruce (03:36):
Because I'm getting bored
.
Sunny (03:40):
You're always bored, but
yes, I'm going to be done pretty
soon.
Bruce (03:43):
Well, what happened to
your mic?
I don't know.
I hope it don't start messingup.
Sunny (03:48):
I think you just messed
up period.
Ha ha, ha ha.
Bruce (03:54):
All right.
Well, anyway, to make a long,drawed-out story short, we just
went into our Buzzsprout andseen where our count was for our
full podcast episodes and we'reat 93 this time this episode.
(04:14):
So we're just going to leave itat season five from now on and,
you know, count off theepisodes from here on in until
we change something major in theprogramming or in the recording
or something.
So season five is just prettywell where we got to get it to
(04:37):
work smoothly.
Sunny (04:41):
You call this smooth Ha,
you are cracked up literally in
the head okay, sonny, thank youfor that, but uh, yeah, that's
what we're doing.
Bruce (04:54):
we're trying to make it
from now on um straightforward,
so everybody knows what seasonwe're in and what episode, and
hopefully we won't do a lot morechanging.
We'll just keep on podcasting,right?
I think that's what BuzzsproutsI think that's what their logo
(05:15):
is Start podcasting.
Sunny (05:19):
You are really uptight,
take a breath.
You are really uptight, take abreath.
Bruce (05:30):
That was pretty good
sound effects.
I think the mics are turned upa little bit loud.
Let me adjust.
Hang on just a second.
I'm going to turn both of these.
Sunny (05:42):
Oh man, you did something
there I did.
All right, hang on, I'm gonnaadjust them oh right, and we're
(06:07):
gonna do mine too.
Bruce (06:08):
Mine's at 34.
Yeah, I just seen it.
All right.
Well, yours is 34, and Idropped mine down to 34.
And I think hopefully that'llbe a little bit better.
Sunny (06:16):
We'll see what happens.
We'll just have to go thatroute.
Bruce (06:19):
Yeah, we'll just have to
go that route.
Sunny (06:24):
So you're ready to go now
?
Bruce (06:27):
Yeah, I'm ready to go.
Well, I was hoping that wecould do an episode without me
adjusting stuff and talkingabout all the equipment, but I
guess we couldn't.
Anyway, this is the day beforeThanksgiving.
I had the day off, so I gotsome stuff done around the house
and I played a little bit, andnow I'm going to do a episode
(06:49):
for Thanksgiving.
I don't know if it'd be verylong.
It may or may not be, we'll seehow it goes.
I've got my earthquake stuff toput out and I got that
seven-day corner which I know.
Sunny (07:05):
Yeah, I don't like that
name.
Bruce (07:10):
I knew you was going to
say that.
However, I haven't heard fromany of our listeners or you,
sonny, for a different name anyideas?
Sunny (07:28):
So until then we're
calling it the seven-day corner.
Yeah, but that don't work good, because it's two weeks before
we rebroadcast, right.
Bruce (07:36):
Yeah, it is.
So it's been two weeks ago, butI try to go back a week, seven
days, to collect most of myinformation.
Now I've went back a little bitfarther on some of them, like
the weather and stuff, butanyhow, quit picking on me.
Sunny (07:55):
No, it's fun.
Bruce (07:58):
All right, well, just
keep picking on me, because I
like picking on you too.
Sunny (08:01):
I know You're a bum.
Bruce (08:05):
Yep, I'm the biggest bum
of all In my life.
You know, I finally figured outhow to do something right.
Sunny (08:14):
What's that?
Bruce (08:15):
Be the biggest bum of all
.
Sunny (08:18):
Oh, good grief, I should
have known that was coming.
Bruce (08:21):
Yep, you should have, but
anyhow, it is November.
Let's see, let me call it right.
What day is it?
It is the 27th.
Well, duh right.
Sunny (08:39):
That's right, Duh.
Tomorrow's Thanksgiving and I'mglad they're not catching me to
cook.
You guys are bad.
Bruce (08:49):
I didn't catch any birds
to cook.
Sunny (08:52):
Oh, what do you got in
the refrigerator?
Bruce (08:55):
Well, I didn't go catch
it.
Sunny (08:58):
Oh, okay, whatever?
Bruce (09:09):
whatever.
Anyway, yeah, it's a 93rdepisode for the ugly quacking
duck and it's the day beforethanksgiving, so we're taking
time out on this episode to sayhappy thanksgiving to everybody
listening and I hope you allhave a good day tomorrow.
If you're not celebratingThanksgiving, I just hope you
have a good day anyway.
It's not about all the ritualsand celebrations.
(09:31):
It's about enjoying your timehere on this earth with your
family, with your friends, yourneighbors, whoever.
Don't be specific about who youenjoy it with.
Just enjoy it with everybody.
You get a chance, because wehave a short time here and then
(09:53):
you're gone.
I'm gone, and then somebodyelse will take our place.
Sunny (10:00):
Yeah, I'll miss you guys.
Bruce (10:03):
Well, I'm not gone yet.
Good grief.
Anywho, thank you everybody forbeing part of our show, for all
your what am I going to say?
Help, for sharing our show, fortaking part in our show and
(10:27):
being good listeners and goodvalued friends.
We appreciate it and we want tosay thanks on this day before
Thanksgiving.
Sunny (10:38):
All right, you're getting
mushy again.
Bruce (10:41):
Boy, you are on my case.
Sunny (10:44):
Well, somebody has to be.
Bruce (10:47):
No, they don't.
Sunny (10:48):
Yes, they do.
Your wife's working.
You're here all alone.
I think I need to take up theslack.
Bruce (10:59):
Okay, I just took a drink
of my Seven Brew hot cocoa.
Thank you, seven Brew, I likethat place.
Okay, anyway, we hope everybodyhas a good day tomorrow and we
hope you eat wisely, no junk, and don't overstuff yourself.
(11:21):
You'll be miserable for it.
But anyway, enough of that, let's go on with the season five
, episode 93.
Right, anybody got anything tosay?
Sunny (11:35):
I've always got something
to say you want to hear about
my week sure we need somethingin here besides me talking.
That's true.
You spoke the truth for once.
Bruce (11:49):
Hey, I always try to
speak the truth.
Sunny (11:53):
Yeah, maybe a bunch of
baloney to go with it Okay.
Bruce (12:01):
Anyway, what do you got
to say?
Sunny (12:04):
Well, I've had a pretty
good week.
It's rained a little bit today,but however it's been a nice
week, been windy, kind of cold.
Off and on It'd get warm andthen cold and warm and cold.
(12:24):
Yeah, but it's been good andI've got to run around and chase
the cats, ha ha.
Bruce (12:28):
Yeah, I know you like
chasing them cats, but do they
ever turn on you?
Sunny (12:33):
No, I've got them fooled.
They don't know any better.
Bruce (12:38):
Well, at least you're not
really hurting them.
Sunny (12:42):
No, I wouldn't do that.
I actually keep them fromrunning out in the road.
Them crazy cats will try to goout in the road and I have to
chase them back into the yard.
Crazy.
Bruce (12:56):
Yeah, we've lost one cat
over that, and Roro actually
witnessed it.
It broke her heart.
Sunny (13:06):
Oh man, I can believe
that Horrible.
Bruce (13:10):
Yeah, it was a horrible
moment for her, but anyway, we
won't talk about that.
We don't want anybody beingmiserable.
I'll tell you what.
Let's run into our seven-daycorner and let's cut this short
as we can.
Maybe they'll get the chance tolisten to it on their travels
to Thanksgiving tomorrow, andmaybe not.
(13:33):
But let's you know, let's doour thing.
Want to?
Sunny (13:40):
Sure, I want to.
When are we doing theearthquakes?
Bruce (13:47):
How about close to the
end?
Does that sound all right toyou?
Sunny (13:52):
Well, that's what we did
last week.
Bruce (13:54):
Let's do it first.
Sunny (13:56):
I want to do it first,
First, first, first first.
Bruce (14:02):
Okay, we will do it first
, so let me get my notes Hang on
just a second.
All right, sonny, do you wantto guess for me today?
Sunny (14:13):
You know I do, I love
guessing.
And since Lily's not here again, where's she at?
She's not in school.
Bruce (14:23):
You're right, but she's
at a friend's house.
We were going to do a phonehookup so we could do an episode
, because she's got a newmicrophone for her phone.
I got it for her and we thoughtit would be great for that.
But she's at a friend's houseso we couldn't do that, so we
are just doing it without heragain.
Sunny (14:49):
Alright, so I'm guessing,
so that means I'm gonna win.
Bruce (14:54):
Yeah, one of these days
we may go live when we get a big
enough audience.
So we'll get some people tocall in against you and we'll
see who gets the biggest orbiggest.
No, closest guess.
Sunny (15:08):
You know that won't be
fair.
They'll be getting on theinternet and looking for the
answer.
Bruce (15:15):
Yeah, you're probably
right, but at least it'll be fun
to do a live show fun to do alive show.
Sunny (15:24):
Yeah, I agree, that'd be
fun.
I can pick on you and make youstutter and you won't be able to
cut it out.
You'll just have to leave it inthe show.
Bruce (15:34):
Well, you know what?
I don't really edit that way.
I pretty well leave everythingin there that we do anymore,
even the long pauses.
Um, some people don't like that.
They want to hurry up and getthrough the episode, and that's
fine.
Um, some people actually watchit on double speed or 1.5.
(15:55):
I think the most popular is 1.5speed.
But anywho, whatever, I'll justleave it normal and leave it
human, and that way we can justleave it alone.
The only thing I do is try topost it and make sure the
(16:17):
audio's decent, no quirks andthe level decent, you know, and
then then I just put it on boardon the hosting site and let
them deal with it you're such anice guy, all right, I want to
guess.
Give me the info all right, letme get my little pamphlet out.
(16:41):
I just got these numbers.
Okay, so I can give you thenumbers from last time, which
was 15th.
This is the 27th, so you'relooking almost 15 days ago we
had 1,560 total earthquakes.
(17:05):
So we're just going back sevendays, so we'll see if our
regular numbers will hold up.
So, anyway, are you ready toguess?
We're looking at 1,560, andwe're on the 27th now, so I
(17:27):
think that's 12 days.
So let me have it.
Tell me what you think.
Sunny (17:37):
That don't work, see, I
told you.
Bruce (17:43):
I know, but it helps the
audience deal with your paws.
Sunny (17:49):
Oh, is that why you do it
?
I didn't know, but anyway, I'mgoing to guess they went up
because it's about time for themto go up.
So let's guess 1795, 1795.
Bruce (18:09):
Well, that's a pretty
good guess.
They did go up and you thoughtthey did, so you guessed right.
But they went up more than that, believe it or not.
The number was 1,565 before.
Now there are 1,915 for thelast seven-day count Wow,
(18:34):
shooting way up there again.
And the 2.5, let's see what wasthe 2.5 and over count it was.
I'm getting a lot of papershere.
I'm going to have to dosomething with all these but it
was 249 at 2.5 and now they'reat 244, so it looks like they're
(19:00):
holding true to our formula.
It's kind of a loose formula,but.
And the 4.5 count was 93.
And this last seven days theywere 82.
So what do you think about that?
Sunny (19:20):
I'm not sure.
Tell me again the formula.
Bruce (19:25):
All right, I'll tell you
again.
Sunny (19:28):
Don't make it too boring.
Bruce (19:31):
Okay, I won't, I'll try
not to.
Maybe If they go up in totalamount, then usually the 2.5 and
the 4.5 earthquakes, which arethe larger ones, and six and all
(19:53):
those they'd go down in amount.
Now they may not go down inpower, they just go down in
amount and when they go back thetotal earthquakes go down.
So say, next week we read themoff and the total earthquakes
will go back down.
What happens is the total forthe 2.5 and the 4.5 give or take
(20:21):
a few will usually go up.
So what worthy rise is thisweek is anything under 2.5.
So the smaller earthquakes.
So we get smaller earthquakesand then they start building up
to bigger ones.
And that's when we haveproblems, because the big ones,
(20:43):
if they end up being over youknow five, you start having
damage and you know if it's inthe right spot you can get
somebody hurt.
And if they go over 6.0, theyreally cause a lot of damage.
And this week we only had one6.1 or one over.
It was in Japan, it was onyesterday, I think, and the last
(21:10):
time.
Let's see if it holds true.
Yep, we had a 6.6 and a 6.8last time we did this numbers.
Now that was 15 days ago.
So it's kind of hard to figureexactly when this is going to
transpire, because you know itgoes up and then it starts going
(21:31):
back down and then it goes, starts going back up.
So we figured seven days isabout right to start catching it
.
Catching it, but sometimes youknow it happens in five days, or
it happens in 10 days or 12days.
You know, we just don't knowfor sure.
But that seems to be the cycleand anyway I'll shut up now.
(21:55):
You've either caught on to itor you're not going to.
Sunny (22:03):
I think you've drained
everybody of any brain willpower
.
You're just blah, blah, blah.
Bruce (22:13):
Okay, thanks for the vote
of confidence.
You know, change the subjectreal quick.
I was just looking out thewindow and it's getting dark.
This time of year is kind of abummer because it gets dark
sooner and there's a lot morecloudy days in the winter time
and, uh, many rainy andsometimes snowy and yucky, so
(22:38):
blah.
But it's's in there right nowgetting dark and woo-woo, it's
420.
And it's not quite dark yet,but it is sure getting close.
Sunny (22:54):
Yeah, it is.
I'll have to stay inside so Idon't get run over by a cat.
Bruce (23:03):
Do they ever run over you
?
Sunny (23:05):
No, not really, but I try
to get in their way.
So they get bumped up, you know, and they think what are you
doing here?
Bruce (23:16):
Yeah, I bet that's what
they think.
They probably think you lookgood for dinner.
Sunny (23:21):
No, I'll whip them.
Bruce (23:24):
Yeah, okay, a couple of
those cats look pretty mean.
Have you met Loki yet?
Sunny (23:30):
Oh yeah, I think he looks
pretty mean mainly because he's
got one ear tore off.
I think he lost a couple offights.
Bruce (23:41):
Yeah, well, I hate to see
what the other guy looked like.
He's a.
You know he is an old cat.
Look like he's a.
You know he is an old cat.
I don't know how old he was,but he come up here when we
moved in, so he's what is thatabout 12 years ago?
He's at least that old, um,anyhow he.
(24:03):
I seen him, uh, back.
What was it?
A couple years ago we had thismale cat that we was kind of
fond of.
It was a stray though, but hegot to being too much of a
(24:24):
moncho cat and that Loki come upin the yard and started chasing
him.
And you talking about that oldman running, that cat could run.
He chased that other cat out ofthe yard in the neighbor's yard
, out in the woods, and we neverdid see that other cat again.
And the whole time, the wholetime they were running, my wife
(24:45):
was making a little snidecomment and I can't remember
exactly what it was, but it wasso funny because the way she was
saying it in a different voiceand it was sounding like that
cat that was running.
It was something like he'sgoing to catch me, he's going to
catch me, but she was.
I wish I'd recorded it.
Sunny (25:07):
It was great but we laugh
about that still.
Bruce (25:23):
Okay, so your point is,
um Loki's a pretty tough old man
, oh, you mean like Mike Tyson.
Sunny (25:31):
No, don't even bring that
up.
That was disappointing.
Oh, I had to bring that up.
Bruce (25:35):
I watched that, remember.
No, I don't remember you beingin that living room, but okay,
I'll believe you.
Yeah, it was disappointing anddisheartening, to say the least.
Sunny (25:51):
And probably a setup.
But anyway, anyway, that'senough of that.
Okay, that's enough of that.
How about the rest of the?
What was it?
Bruce (25:57):
tell me again the rest of
the seven day corner yeah,
that's it.
Sunny (26:05):
Let's give it to the
listening and the audience.
They love the seven-day corner.
Bruce (26:13):
Well, I wouldn't go that
far, because this is the only
second time we've done it.
Sunny (26:19):
Oh well, it seems like a
hundred.
Okay, let's do it.
Bruce (26:27):
Well, don't sound so
eager man.
Okay, what the seven-day corneris is I write down some things
that's happened in the last week, maybe two weeks, since, you
know, we haven't been on in acouple, 12 days to be exact and
we, you know, kind of mentionthem, and especially something
(26:48):
that sticks out in my mind andit just so happens, the first
thing on the list was from 1115.
Guess what it was, Guess guess.
Sunny (27:04):
I know what it was,
because we were just talking
about it.
Bruce (27:09):
Yep, you got that right.
We were just talking about theJake Paul and Mike Tyson fight.
It was last Friday, which wasthe 15th, I do believe, and the
headlines read you ready forthis?
Jake Paul beats Mike Tyson byunanimous decision.
(27:30):
And my whole opinion on that isI wish I had not stayed up to
watch that bout, that fight, that joke, that obscene show
staged.
I just go on and on again.
(27:51):
It was just terrible.
Sunny (27:54):
Bruce, why don't you tell
me how you really feel?
I don't think you've told meyet.
Bruce (28:01):
Oh yeah.
Anyway, I was very disappointed, disheartened.
I've already went over that and, like I said, I stayed up just
to watch that show.
I had to go to work next day.
But I watched some of the otherfights and they wasn't too bad,
but that one was just.
That's all I got to say.
Sunny (28:26):
Okay, well, I kind of
agree with you.
I didn't understand why peoplestood there and beat themselves
like that.
Bruce (28:34):
But I didn't like any of
the fights.
I thought they were kind ofridiculous yeah, you probably
would, but anyway we'll go on.
The next thing I had are youready for this?
There's some samples from thefar side of the moon.
They were collected by theChinese.
(28:57):
I say Change 6 mission.
I'm not sure what that is, butthat was the moon mission that
the Chinese did and they tooksamples from the far side and
(29:17):
they have said, or they've beenwhatever, that 2.8 billion years
ago the moon had volcanicactivity, according to those
samples.
But the question that is to behad are you ready for this
(29:38):
question?
Sunny (29:40):
Oh, you're going to give
it some conspiracy.
Bruce (29:44):
You bet I am.
Everybody just accepts oh,scientists have brought back
samples and we've did this andwe've did that.
First of all, did we really goup there to begin with, and are
they up there now on theirmission, and how did they get
those samples back?
Anybody heard about any of that?
(30:07):
I mean, nasa's even said wecan't go up there and they don't
know how we did it before, because they've lost all the
records and all the mechanics tothe time that we went up there
before they were destroyed, Ithink is what the correct
wording was.
Think about that.
(30:28):
A miracle, us getting up thereback in what 69?
And all that information hasbeen destroyed.
The videos were lost.
It's just unbelievable.
But anyway, if you believe that, so you know, there you go.
(30:51):
2.8 billion years ago the moonhad volcanic activity.
Or is that all more lies?
Just to get you thinking aboutall that lies?
I don't know, I just thoughtthat was interesting.
Lies, I don't know, I justthought that was interesting.
Once again, they come up with a, a story that goes back 2.8
(31:13):
billion years ago.
They can't go back a thousandyears, but they want us to
remember and go back 2.8.
Okay, anyway, uh.
Next news headline, indiasuccessfully tested its first
long-range hypersonic missile.
(31:33):
That was on November 16, 2024.
These missiles are faster timesthe speed of sound, more than
3,000 miles per hour, and theyhave a range of over 930 miles.
(31:54):
They fly lower than a ballisticmissile and they are harder to
detect and intercept.
And I think that the one thatRussia used against the Ukraine
here a while back was a newfangled type of hypersonic
missile.
I can't remember what theycalled that, but they just used
(32:15):
that on Ukraine because Ukrainehad shot some of our missiles
into Russia's territory.
So I think somebody's trying toget us involved in World War III
.
I don't know what you guysthink, but anyway we try not to
(32:36):
bring too much of that in there.
It says India now joins, readyfor this, the US, china and
Russia, who have demonstratedhypersonic capabilities.
Now there's more countries thathave claimed, but those are the
(32:58):
only ones that havedemonstrated them.
Cool huh, we might be able todo something neat like leave the
Earth with those, but anyway, onward to the show, or with the
(33:18):
show, or somehow with the showgoing somewhere.
Sunny (33:21):
Oh boy, you get off on
this weird stuff, don't you?
Bruce (33:24):
I wouldn't use that point
and phrase, but I do enjoy the
not-so-normal news that havedifferent headlines and we don't
get bombarded with the garbageand negativity and all that
stuff.
Sunny (33:43):
Yeah, and you enjoy
arguing with them too.
Well, that could be, but anyhowdo you enjoy arguing with them
too.
Bruce (33:47):
Well, that could be, but
anyhow, do you guys own an
iPhone?
How many of you own an iPhone?
Hold up your hands, okay, well, especially the ones without a
headphone jack.
You guys all bought into that.
What Last two updates?
(34:08):
And that, when they come out, maybe the third three updates.
Anyhow, I hope you have a 3.5millimeter lightning adapter
already purchased, becausesupposedly iphone is going to
quit making those.
So what that means is that allthe older iphones that can take,
(34:32):
um, what is that called thelightning jack or the lightning
adapter?
Yeah, that's a lightning plugto charge it and to hook up your
headphones and all that stuff.
They're going to quit makingthose phones so they could.
They're also going to quitmaking the adapter, which means
(34:54):
you're going to be forced toupdate.
So there's another.
Most people update anyway injust a few years.
But apple is now shifting awayfrom its proprietary lightning
port in favor of, ready for this, a USB-C jack.
Yep, that's what Android's beenusing and most other companies,
(35:19):
so the adapter may also begoing away.
That's what they said.
That's a statement from iPhone.
All right, more reasons toupgrade, right?
Yeah, have you heard about thebomb cyclone that was in
northwest, like in WashingtonState, oregon and Northern
(35:45):
California, oregon and NorthernCalifornia.
It blew in with tremendousforce and it had rain with it
and stuff.
There was like 500,000, 600,000residents in the state of
Washington.
That was out of power.
That was on 11-21.
(36:06):
That was on 11-21.
I haven't checked recently tosee if there's any more news on
that information, but it waswild.
And then the northeast, like inNew York, got a heavy snow just
(36:27):
a couple days ago, I think.
No, it's been a little bitlonger than that, but they got a
good heavy snow up there.
So it looks like winter'sstarting in.
We had the Rockies got hit andDenver not Denver but Colorado,
maybe Denver too, I don't know, but anyway, looks like it's
(36:50):
moving on in.
I think we're supposed to, herein southern illinois, get some
this weekend.
Somebody said we might actuallyhave a white thanksgiving.
I hope not.
There's going to be a lot oftraveling.
We'll go over that in a minute.
But anyway, how about this news?
The volcano in southwesternIceland again began erupting on
(37:15):
Wednesday night, which was 1120,and peaked around 2 am Thursday
morning.
The volcano has been longdormant around 800 years but
this year has erupted severaltimes.
I think I wrote that down and Ididn't verify it, but I was
(37:41):
thinking it was the beginning ofthis year.
Early year, like in the springor something like that, it
started erupting and it'serupted several times.
So, yay, they had some pictureson the internet of the volcano
spewing.
It was kind of cool.
Anyway, I like that interesting, though.
(38:07):
Now another story of ancientwater on mars.
Guys, any of you guys seen that?
All right.
So it's been a a thing wherethere's been some different
stories come out that mars, years ago, had water on it, and
they've basically proven that bytheir means.
(38:29):
Again, how do they know?
But yep, mars' new.
What the new curtain is that?
Right University, I wrote thatdown and I don't think that's
right.
But anyway, they've led a studyof the Black Beauty meteorite.
Okay, so we've had NASA tell usthat there's moisture and you
(38:56):
know old river ducks and stuffon Mars.
And now this Curtin Universitynever even heard of that before
has led a study of the BlackBeauty meteorite.
They found zircon grain andfound geochemical fingerprints
(39:21):
in this meteorite.
It was rich with water floodsor water-rich floods, whichever
way you want to say that, and itwas all elemental evidence.
Get that.
There wasn't straight-out water, it was elemental evidence and
(39:48):
that's you ready for that?
Zircon is a mineral and agemstone found on Earth, but
they're saying this meteoritecame from Mars and Mars has had
water because of this meteorite.
(40:10):
Okay, another scientist told usit was so, so we're all going
to believe it, right?
Sunny (40:18):
Boy, you're on a roll
with this conspiracy.
I don't believe stuff.
Bruce (40:25):
Well, I just think we
take for granted.
Every time a scientist says, orthey say, a scientist says it
and they come out with somestudy that says something's 2.5
million years old or 2.5 billion, or 2.8 billion, and hey, they
had a study over here and itsaid this and then they come up
(40:46):
with a rock that says the samething, we're're all supposed to
jump up and go Hallelujah, Ibelieve it.
Sunny (40:55):
Oh, boy, do that again.
Bruce (40:58):
Hallelujah, I believe it.
Sunny (41:03):
Oh, okay, so go on.
This is getting interesting.
Bruce (41:10):
Well, thank you.
I'm glad I finally got somebodyinteresting.
Now, if our listeners hasn'ttuned out, fell asleep, maybe
I'm gaining.
Sunny (41:20):
You know I'm gaining
right, all right.
Bruce (41:24):
Do you guys remember the
mini moon?
All right, do you guys rememberthe mini moon?
I talked about it a couplemonths ago when it first got in
the news, where they firstspotted it, and it was the first
measurement that I found on theInternet.
It was like 36 feet.
And then, lo and behold, thenext one I read said 33 feet.
(41:48):
And then, lo and behold, thenext one I read said 33 feet.
And ever since then it was 33,33, which I think is very weird
when things get numbered to 33or 66.
It's kind of weird that they dothat.
But originally I think itstarted out 36.
, and I even wrote that down andtold where I found it when I
(42:09):
reported on it before.
But anyway, now they're stillclaiming it's 33 feet, but it's
bus size.
Now I've never seen a33-foot-long bus.
But you know, they're sayingit's the bus size asteroid.
So we have a 33-foot bus-sizedasteroid.
(42:30):
Now you figure that out.
Anyway, it supposedly gotpulled in to the Earth's orbit
about two months ago, but itwasn't pulled in quite enough to
keep it locked in.
So it's going to escape andit's leaving pretty soon.
(42:51):
Now, what's this mean?
I don't know.
Don't know what it means.
But what the interesting partof this story is they come up
with now that it's on its wayout.
They've come up with theability somehow to study it and
scientists believe it could havebeen a chunk of our own moon.
(43:14):
Really, somehow they studiedthis 33-foot-long or wide
bus-size meteorite that's over amillion miles away from us, or
a billion, I don't remember thenumbers.
(43:36):
I think it was a million, twomillion, something like that.
They somehow figured out a wayto study that, get that
information back to us and tellus they have found some
substances in it that is similarto our moon.
So they believe it comes fromour moon, or part of it comes
from our moon, or something likethat.
(43:58):
Anyway, that's what theybelieve.
They're just again sharing abunch of baloney to you because
they're scientists, they've beeneducated, they can tell you
what's right.
There you go, believe it.
Anyway, I found thatinteresting.
Sunny (44:16):
Boy, you found a lot,
didn't you?
Bruce (44:19):
Yep.
And again, scientists havecompared that to samples they
got from Russia and NASA.
That collected these samples inthe past, I guess when we went
to the moon back in you know 69,and we couldn't have went to
the moon, and I'm not sure howRussia got them, because I don't
(44:41):
think Russia ever went, didthey?
But anyway, yeah, they did,supposedly.
Okay, I won't get in troublefor all this.
Let's just talk about theAmericans going for Thanksgiving
tomorrow and we'll just have toshut up after all this.
But supposedly there's going tobe 80 million Americans
(45:08):
traveling over Thanksgivingweekend Now's what they just
released and a record 71.7million will travel by car.
(45:32):
Is anybody going to be home toeat?
That's a lot.
I hate to see the highwaysduring the holidays.
That is crazy.
But all right, let me repeatthat 80 million Americans will
travel over Thanksgiving weekendand a record 71.7 million will
(46:02):
do that travel by car holysmokes.
Sunny (46:08):
I think I'll take a
flight and just see what the
interstate looks like.
Well, it's supposed they'reprobably traveling today, so
(46:28):
they'll be where they want to befor dinner tomorrow, and then
they'll stay saturday or fridayand then they'll head back
saturday or sunday.
So I don't want to be on theroad with you, bruce, today or
(46:48):
Saturday and Sunday.
Bruce (46:51):
Well, I'm glad you don't
want to be, because I'm not
going to be on the road either.
Friday I'm going to be at work.
I got to be there early.
They want me there at sixbecause they're going to get
opened up at six.
Yay for me.
And then Friday, that's Friday.
I get off.
Saturday I go in at 1.
(47:12):
So I'll just go from here to mywork location and then Sunday.
I don't know if I'm workingSunday or not, but either way
I'm not going on the highway.
Sunny (47:28):
Yeah, I don't blame, you.
You, that sounds bad 80 million.
Bruce (47:33):
Wow, yeah, that's what I
thought when I read that.
I mean, who, uh, that's, that'scrazy.
Anyway, what do you say?
That's all folks.
Sunny (47:45):
Hey, that's all folks.
Bruce (47:48):
Yeah, yeah, we're going
to shut her down.
We want to wish everybody onemore time.
Let's say it together Ready,sonny.
Sunny (47:56):
Yeah, I'm ready, let's do
it All right, happy
Thanksgiving.
Bruce (48:05):
Yay, you just showed up
there.
You ended it too quick.
Sunny (48:10):
I'm sorry I lost a little
bit of a Never mind, I'll do
better next time.
Bruce (48:17):
Oh, that's all right.
At least we did it.
We want to thank everybody forbeing here and listening to this
podcast.
If you're listening to it todayor on thanksgiving, we hope
you're enjoying the day.
And if you catch us later on,maybe like this weekend, or
whenever you listen to it, wehope you had a good time.
Safe time if you're travelingoh good grief, be careful.
(48:40):
And if, if you have familymembers traveling, let's say a
prayer for everybody.
And again, if you're not one ofthose people that believe in
prayer, hopefully you'll believein positive thinking and
positive.
Just think positively, give outgood vibes, whatever you want
(49:04):
to call it, but let's get ittogether for everybody that's
traveling.
And if you're doing anything inthe other countries as you're
listening to this, I hope youenjoy it and I hope you have a
good time and peace be witheveryone, and I'm going to say
goodbye to you all.
Sunny (49:25):
Goodbye to all.
Bruce (49:28):
Yep, goodbye, we enjoyed
it.
73.
And may the Father's blessinggo with you.
Sunny (49:37):
Alright, let's say it
together Say bye, ready, bye,
bye, hey Bruce.
You know what you forgot what?
Bye Ready, bye, hey Bruce.
You know what you forgot.
Bruce (49:48):
What'd I forget?
Sunny (49:50):
You forgot to play the
Morse code news thing before you
started the seven-day corner.
Bruce (49:58):
Oh, I did, oh, bummer.
Anyway, we'll do it next monthor next week, or whenever.
Next episode.
There you go.
Sunny (50:09):
All right, I'll go for
that.
We'll say bye again, bye.
Bruce (50:14):
All right, Bye everyone.
