Bruce (00:06):
this is the ugly quacking
duck podcast coming to you from
our midwest studio, southernillinois, mount vernon.
Yes, we are in mount vernon, oron the edge of mount vernon all
right, yes, we are on the edgeof mount vernon, our studio is
there, located in our home, andwe are just uh now recording the
(00:32):
new episode 121 and, uh, it islabor day weekend.
Actually, it's the end of LaborDay.
We're recording afternoon.
It's around 2 o'clock thisafternoon and it's a beautiful
day outside has been all week.
(00:53):
We've been blessed with anothergood week, I'll tell you, it's
great.
Sunny (01:00):
Yeah, we are having a
blast Blast.
Bruce (01:08):
What was that about,
Sunny?
Sunny (01:10):
I just had a blast and
I'm Sunny from the Ugly Quacking
Duck.
Bruce (01:17):
And I'm Bruce, just in
case this is the first time
you've tuned in.
We are with the Ugly Quackingduck podcast and we are just
crazy hey, speak for yourself.
I was born sane and how do youknow?
Somebody tell you uh no wellthen, it's up for judgment and I
(01:42):
judge, judge nothing, not goingto do it.
Sunny (01:46):
Well, ain't you a nice
person today?
Bruce (01:49):
No.
Sunny (01:53):
Is that what I think it
is, bruce, are you drinking hot
chocolate on this warm?
Bruce (01:58):
day I am, and it's a
beautiful day, and it's almost
fall and it's September the 1stand I just felt like a cup of
hot chocolate to kind of honorthis day, and if you don't like
it you can go get you a drink ofwater, I don't care.
Sunny (02:23):
Well, I didn't say I
didn't like it.
I was just wondering what youwas drinking.
Bruce (02:25):
There you have it.
I'm drinking a cup of hotchocolate, cooked or fixed or
made.
However, you want to say thatin my own kitchen, by my own
hands, I even used real milk.
And speaking of drinks, did youknow?
Starbucks pumpkin spice lattehas returned.
(02:46):
I don't know how many Starbuckspeople are out there, but go
get your pumpkin spice latte, because I read that online that
it had come back.
Sunny (02:59):
And I want to just tell
everybody this is not a
commercial for Starbucks oranybody else.
Bruce (03:07):
Touche there, Sunny, that
is true.
Sunny (03:10):
Hey Bruce.
Bruce (03:11):
Yeah, Sunny.
Sunny (03:12):
I see you're using a
pencil.
You know why you should neveruse a dull pencil.
Bruce (03:23):
Because it won't write.
Sunny (03:32):
No, silly, uh, because it
won't write.
Bruce (03:35):
no silly it's because it
doesn't have a point, so it's
pointless.
Okay, so a joke right off thebat.
Boy, I hope you don't get anymore of those.
Sunny (03:43):
Well, I think the
audience will like it and our
community will like it.
So there, All right.
Bruce (03:51):
Well, let's just talk a
little bit about the episode,
shall we?
It is August, I mean, it is theend of August, the beginning of
September, september, the 1stLabor Day of september,
september, the first labor day,and just to highlight some of
the things that august did forus, or at least one, it come to
(04:15):
my mind I in Louisiana back in2005, and it was the costliest
(04:35):
in US history and it was one ofthe deadliest hurricanes.
It actually took in mississippi, alabama, florida and louisiana
, and I don't know if anybody'sold enough to remember that.
I remember it.
Uh, it was only back in 2005,so surely most of our listeners
(05:00):
remember it and it wasdevastating and I just thought
that was worth remembering andall the suffering that went
along with it.
Now there's more hurricanes, there's more fires and
earthquakes, but I just wantedto bring that back up to our
memory hey, bruce, when youtalking to Capella earlier today
(05:24):
, yes, I was, can't get by withnothing.
Sunny (05:30):
Well, I was in the room,
remember yeah.
Bruce (05:35):
I remember I was just
giving you a hard time.
Yes, I did.
I talked to him a little.
I don't know if you call itCapella or Gemini or just
regular AI, but the voice I wasusing was Capella, I think
that's how you say itC-A-P-E-L-L-A, and it has some
(05:57):
kind of British or Australianaccent which I think sounds
pretty cool.
And you know, I brought thesubject up of sci-fi and the
large collider and I asked acouple questions so I recorded
(06:21):
the answers.
I'll let you hear it.
Hang on just one moment.
Let me bring it up.
Capella (06:28):
There's a theory that
the LHC could create tiny black
holes and in some sci-fi storiesthese black holes could act as
portals to other times ordimensions.
Or there's the idea that theLHC could generate particles
that travel faster than light, which could theoretically allow
for time travel.
What do you think of thosepossibilities?
Bruce (06:48):
Well, there is a big
sci-fi conspiracy going around
right now on a lot of the socialmedia and they're describing
the timeline that we're livingon has been changed and there's
been a bunch of theories on whatthe change is.
(07:11):
There's been a bunch oftheories on what the change is,
but I want to hear is there anykind of scientific evidence that
would kind of prove that to beso?
It may be a stretch, but isthere anything?
Capella (07:29):
Yes, it is definitely a
stretch.
The LHC operates under theknown laws of physics, and those
laws do not allow for timetravel or changes to the past.
The conspiracy theories are funto think about, but they don't
hold up to scientific scrutiny.
Bruce (07:43):
So it's your belief?
We're not living in a differenttimeline.
Capella (07:49):
That's right.
Based on our currentunderstanding of physics,
there's no evidence to supportthe idea that the Large Hadron
Collider has caused us to shiftinto a different timeline.
It's a fascinating concept, butit remains firmly in the realm
of science fiction.
Bruce (08:05):
Well, I just so happen to
love science fiction, because
it's fiction and with the worldas crazy as it is, it's nice to
have something other than thecraziness to accept and believe
in.
Capella (08:23):
I completely agree.
Science fiction can be awonderful escape and it often
allows us to explore fascinatingwhat-if scenarios.
It's a great way to spark ourimaginations and think about the
world in new and exciting ways.
Do you have any favoritescience fiction books or movies?
Bruce (08:42):
There you go.
That was my recording fromearlier today.
I was rather well pleased withhow that went.
I kept it short so it wouldn'tend up like last time I was
using gemini and it just freakedout on me after about 15
(09:03):
minutes.
But the main thing I was afterto see if it would come up with
any series of its own.
When I asked about the LHC andthe timeline Now notice it
didn't say that was not possible.
It just said that under therules of the science and the
(09:28):
studies that we have going onright now, that would not happen
.
Didn't say it was impossible.
Didn't say there's other rulesthat could be manipulated to
make that happen, and I didn'tdelve into that.
I didn't want to spend my wholerecording talking to the AI.
(09:49):
I just wanted to have a littlebit of extra fun with the ai
today you're not going to makeout your girlfriend like that
one dude did, are you?
no, I don't believe I need thatwell, I'm glad to hear that that
kind of scares everybody well,no, I'm just using it for a play
(10:09):
toy right now and I'm burningup my electricity.
See, I'm paying extra money inthis state for the electricity
which is known to be going tothose data centers to help these
ai.
So I'm paying for that, so I'mgoing to use it.
However, I would like to say Ilove sci-fi.
(10:34):
It gives you a break fromreality.
But if you rely on things likethat whether it's sci-fi or
gambling, drugs, tv movies, alcohol, any of that kind of
stuff to break from the monotonyof today's world, then it's all
(10:57):
going to end up taking you downa bad road.
What you need to be relying onis the truth of the Father, the
Creator.
Some people call Him the Source, but you need to be relying on
that, and then everything elsekind of comes into view a little
(11:22):
bit different.
I can enjoy sci-fi and not letit enable me to to not I don't
know how I'm trying to say thisI don't live for it, I just
enjoy it.
Does that make sense?
There you go, and uh, that'sthe way it should be with all
(11:43):
the other avenues that peoplechoose, no matter what it is.
It should not be the onlyavenue that we have.
It should be.
Just anyway, rely on the Father.
That's what I'm trying to say.
It is getting close to somereally, really bad times in this
(12:07):
world, not just for Americans, not just for any other people in
this world, not just foramericans, not just for any
other people in this world.
It's getting for the wholeworld.
We're going to start seeing alot more and more and more um
stuff that we don't even want totalk about and the only only
(12:29):
course of action is the Father.
Now, if this is bothering you,me talking about it, I'm sorry
there's an off button on yourplayer, but hear me out.
We are coming to a point intime that has been told of for
generations and centuries priorto now, and it's been foretold
(12:59):
that people would even say thatit's been foretold, and where is
it at?
They would be mocking this time, and that's what we're seeing.
We're seeing a lot of Bibleprophecy happen and people are
just making fun of it, callingpeople's conspiracies nuts, and
(13:21):
they're not realizing that thatbible talked about a future to
warn us, to get us ready, tohelp us prepare, not to see us
suffer through that.
It is a plan for us all tosurvive it, but we're not going
(13:43):
to if we're not relying on theFather, and the reason that we
can be part of that father'splan, and that was through
Yahushua, his son, the chosenone, as he called himself the
son of man.
(14:04):
And I'm going to stop there.
I don't want to run everybodyoff, but I want you to just
think about the news and whatall you've been seeing the
earthquakes, the crazy weather, and, yeah, some of it may be
man-made, I totally agree withthat, but in the Bible it does
(14:24):
not say that it wasn't.
There is a difference betweenthe actions and the results that
we're seeing now, that isdescribed in prophecy and the
part where the Father takes Hisvengeance on sin and His wrath
(14:48):
comes down on the world.
That's two differentdescriptions.
And what we're seeing right nowmay be man-made, but it does
not neglect or however you saythat the fact that it was
already foretold.
(15:10):
I guess what I'm trying to sayis prepare, get prepared oh,
prepare like, store a bunch offood, ammo, stuff like that well
, you know that kind ofpreparation is not a bad idea,
but you cannot prepare foreverything that could happen and
(15:32):
like say, let's say, the banksgo down, the power goes out,
that kind of stuff is going toaffect you and there's there's
not a whole lot you can do forvery long term, but that's not
the preparation I'm talkingabout there.
I've told people before there'sgoing to come a time, or could
come a time, when our physicalreality will not protect us any
(15:59):
longer, that we will needsomething other than that and
the only thing we will be ableto rely on is the power of the
father.
When you have to rely on thator him and you have never done
it before, then you may not haveit to rely on.
(16:23):
That's what I'm trying to sayPrepare, practice, prepare,
practice, prepare.
Okay, that's enough of that.
Sunny (16:34):
Yep, yep, you're going to
drive all our listeners away.
Bruce (16:39):
No, we've got some really
good people in our community
and I hope they stick around andI hope we pick up new ones.
But we won't rely keep talkingabout that any any longer.
We're going to go shift gears.
It was the end of augustyesterday, so you know what that
(17:00):
means.
That means we need to do theearthquake report and do the end
of month earthquake report ohyeah, how's that different?
It's really not.
I just got one more number toadd to it hey, bruce yes, honey
(17:21):
you talking about the beautifulweather we've been having.
Sunny (17:25):
Can I do the weather
report?
Bruce (17:28):
yes, I'd be happy to let
you do that.
Sunny (17:32):
Awesome, yeah, I like
doing that.
Okay, so we were talking aboutour local weather.
Your weather may be different, but we like to talk about our
weather to kind of give you anidea of what's going on.
So, as Bruce said, it's beenwonderful around here.
(17:52):
It still gets up in the 80s,but the humidity's been really
low.
There's been a nice steadybreeze.
Now it's not raining much andthe ground is getting pretty dry
.
In fact, the grass is brown.
It kind of crunches when I walkon it, but anyhow, it is 84
(18:15):
degrees right now on this Mondayafternoon.
The wind is 7 miles an hour,it's at 32% humidity and the air
quality is 31.
Bruce (18:33):
All right, good job there
.
Hey, tell them about PhoenixArizona.
Sunny (18:38):
Oh yeah, we're going to
talk about Phoenix, arizona.
Yay, and Bruce likes to do thatto compare our local weather
with another place.
Now, if you have some idea thatyou want to hear your weather,
that'd be great.
Just email us attheuglyquackingduck at gmailcom.
(19:03):
Yep, that's right, the uglyquacking duck?
No, hello, bruce, I'm doingyour thing now.
Bruce (19:12):
Yeah, I always do that
too.
I get on a roll and no, it'stheuglyquackingduck at gmailcom.
Email us and tell us what youthink.
Sunny (19:23):
All right, thanks for
saving me, bruce, but Phoenix
Arizona, right now it is 103degrees, woo 103.
That is a cooking day, man, andthe humidity is only 21%.
They have a five mile an hourwind and the air quality is 37.
(19:48):
It's a little bit worse than itis here, bruce.
Bruce (19:53):
Yep, that's right, and
it's probably worse because you
know it's a desert.
They probably have a lot ofdust blowing up, um, all kinds
of stuff like that, but still,37 is good.
But there you go, guys.
Um, I think the high over therein phoenix was 106 and the high
(20:13):
here was 85.
So that's the weather herelocally and at phoenix, arizona.
I hope you enjoyed our weatherreport.
Not sure that our way ofreporting this is going to work
out.
If you're tracking it, ifyou're going to our webpage and
downloading the PDF sheet so youcan write on it the totals that
(20:39):
I report, and then you go backand see the other months, or the
other years, I should say, andyou have a physical report there
.
That may work out.
We'll just have to see overtime.
But right now we're going to dothis month, which is beginning
(21:00):
on september, the first goingback seven days.
The all magnitude count is 1895, which comes to 19 percent of
10 000.
That's what I use as a total.
And then the 2.5 count is 273,which is a 14.4% of the 1895.
(21:27):
And the 4.5 count is 106, whichis 506% of the 1895.
And there was two 6.0 and overearthquakes.
That's what I report on One ofthem.
(21:48):
The first one was inAfghanistan and the other one
was in Russia, and that one wason that peninsula.
That's been hammered over and, over and over again, and they
had that big one here a whileback.
So we have two out of the 106,which gives us 1.9%.
(22:08):
Now I'm not going to read the2019 numbers or the 2018 numbers
because I don't want to takeall that time up and bore you to
death, but if you're interested, I will post the reports on the
(22:28):
web page, as I've been doingthe past.
I do want to cover the 30-dayreport, though I only do that
once a month and this is the endof august, beginning of
september, so I want to do itnow.
There was a for the allmagnitude.
The number is 9847, so 10,000is what I used at top for the
(22:58):
all magnitude reports, monthlyor weekly, I should say my
seven-day report.
So it's almost hitting that forthis month.
And the 4.5 and over the countwas 668.
So that gives us a 6.8% of the9,847.
(23:25):
Now, since I've got you on hereand this is short, I'll go ahead
and read the all 30-day reportfor 2019.
I went back and looked it up.
For 2019, the all magnitudereport was 19 360 for the same
(23:48):
time frame that I just reportedfor 2025, on August and
September, and the 4.5 and overwas 501.
So that figures a 2.6% of the19,000.
And then on 2018, the oilmagnitude was 16,682.
(24:17):
And then the 4.5 and over was803, which gave us a count of
4.8% of the 16,000.
And that's our 30-day reportand our 7-day report.
And if you look at the numbersfor last month on 2018, our last
(24:45):
7-day report, let me rephrasethat I told you there was 12
six-and-over earthquakes for2018, and now there's only four,
which brings the percentageback down to 2.1%, which is
about normal.
What they've been running 2% to3%.
(25:08):
But what I wanted to point outis 2019 is what?
Seven days back from 2025 I'msorry, it's actually six years
uh, 2018 was seven years.
So when I started this, I wentback and I looked at the seven
(25:30):
years from 2025, and I thought,boy, that's a lot higher.
So, yeah, it's a lot higher In2019, which is six years.
So next year that would be 2026, and it's been fluctuating.
Sometimes it's higher andsometimes it's been fluctuating.
Sometimes it's a higher andsometimes it's not.
(25:51):
And my thinking is 20.
If the seven day calculationcontinues to do in the seven
year, then 2026 ought to be areally bad year.
We won't know until we getthere.
But that's my earthquake reportfor this week and I hope you
got something out of it.
Sunny (26:14):
I did.
I got bored, I fell asleep.
Did you hear me snoring?
Bruce (26:21):
Oh, you did not, you big
telltale.
Sunny (26:25):
Oh, big deal.
Yeah, I got something out of it.
I don't know what you'd call it, though.
Bruce (26:35):
Oh well, that's our
report for the earthquakes.
We gave you our weather herelocally, so I hope you are in
tune and I hope you enjoyed ourlittle conversation with the
gemini ai this morning.
I happen to get that onrecording, so I like that.
(26:57):
I like playing that thing.
Um, I wouldn't rely on it atall, but I may try to intrigue
it.
To do more sci-fi with us,maybe we can get some more
stories out of it.
To do more sci-fi with us,maybe we can get some more
stories out of it.
Sunny (27:13):
What do you think there,
Sunny?
Bruce (27:16):
I think you're crazy, but
I like it.
Okay, I like it, he says, and Ido too.
So, anywho, how about one morejoke, Sunny?
Sunny (27:29):
Okay, that sounds good,
but tell us, Bruce, I know you
looked up a story, A short storymaybe.
Bruce (27:40):
I did.
I actually looked up a shortlittle bitty story and the
question starts with why cartooncharacters wear gloves.
So if you've ever, I didn'treally notice that before until
I read the article, but cartooncharacters actually wore gloves.
Every one of them you look atpretty well, had a pair of
(28:03):
gloves on, especially the Disneycartoons.
And the reason why I'll bet youcan guess, if you can, and I'm
going to read them all.
There were three key reasons.
The first one was the smooth, round shape.
It saved the cartoonist timewhile he did the drawing.
(28:25):
So they drew a lot.
It took a lot of time time, sothat saved a little bit of time.
And the next reason is thewhite gloves helped contrast the
black bodies of the characters.
That was when the tv was blackand white.
They needed that contrast.
And then the other was itenabled the characters, which
(28:50):
were typically animals, toappear more human-like.
So there you go.
What do you think about thatsunny?
wow, I didn't know that eitherwell, there you go, people of,
uh, the world.
That's why the cartooncharacters have gloves.
Not sure that was appropriateresponse for that.
(29:14):
But hey, there you go oh, Ithought they were really good
okay, well, yeah, okay well.
They were good, and I think wehave come to the end of this
episode.
I hope you all, whenever youlisten to this, remember Labor
(29:36):
Day weekend, and I hope you hadfun during that time.
I pray that you will have agood week this coming week.
The Father's love will be withyou always, and when the trials
start which they probablyalready have, if any of you are
like me life is getting tougher, more expensive.
(29:58):
There's more things happening.
People are getting sick aroundyou.
You may be losing familymembers and friends.
It's getting to be a big trial.
It always has been, but it justseems like it's getting harder.
Don't give up.
That's the whole point.
(30:18):
If you enjoy the show, come back, share it with somebody, pray
for us.
That would help tremendously.
If you have any creativity toyou, you you'd like to help out,
we could help out with acartoon.
You know artwork ideas topresent.
(30:39):
If you'd like to help usfinancially because there is a
huge cost to doing all this, wewould sure enjoy that too.
However, you want to be with us.
Just be with us.
That's the secret.
So until next week, we're goingto say good evening, goodbye
(31:02):
and howdy.
What do you mean, howdy?
I don't know.
I just felt like saying howdyat the end okay, howdy all right
, there you go.
All right, let's say bye, Sunny, you ready, I am all right.
Three, two, one bye.
(31:24):
Thank you guys for coming, see, come and hear us being with us.
Whatever be here next week,we'll see you later.
Bye 73.
May the father's love be withyou.
