SPEAKER_01 (00:02):
Hello everyone.
Welcome back to the Unity Codewhere we bridge science,
spirituality, and strategy.
So you can actually understandhow things work and build
something that works for you.
Today's episode is specificallyfor my soul-led entrepreneurs,
the ones who know you're here todo something meaningful and
beautiful, but maybe yourbusiness or offers, ding, aren't
(00:24):
fully reflecting that.
Because I see this all the time, especially with people who are
incredible about what they do,but something just isn't
clicking.
The offer isn't landing.
The messaging feels off, or it'smaybe just taking way more
energy than it should.
And today I want to bringsomeone in who I personally
trust into this conversation.
(00:46):
I have been listening to herpodcast, The Offer Mojo Show.
I'll obviously link this in theshow notes.
And honestly, she is just one ofthose resources that makes you
think about your business in acompletely different way.
And as someone who works withenergy and alignment literally
all day, her podcast episodesand her in particular have
(01:08):
really helped me think outsidemy own patterns and see things
that I wouldn't have seenotherwise.
So this is not just a randomguest today.
This is someone whose work Iactually respect and use.
I can't wait to introduce herfor you today.
(01:31):
So I'm about to introduce thebeautiful and wonderful Lori.
And I hope you get so much outof this podcast episode.
I will list it again at the endof the show, but please check
her out on socials.
Check out her podcast, The OfferMojo Show.
She is an incredible resourcefor soul-led entrepreneurs
talking about energy andmanifestation at the right level
(01:52):
with your offers so that you canshow up and be exactly who your
soul is supposed to be here inthis lifetime as a soul-led
business owner.
Hello, everyone.
Welcome, Lori.
Hi, how are you?
I'm good.
Um, just to give everyone alittle bit of background, Lori
(02:13):
is known as the offer magician.
She is an offer and businesspositioning strategist who helps
coaches and transformationfocused experts turn what they
know into offers, into peopleactually want to buy.
And so she has over 15 years inthe industry and she works with
purpose-driven entrepreneurs whoknow what they're good at, but
(02:34):
can't figure out why theiroffers aren't connecting.
She will help them get clear onwhat they're actually selling,
who it's for, and how to talkabout it in a way that actually
connects and feels true to them.
Her clients usually show upfeeling really stuck, really
burnt out by their currentmodel, and they leave with
offers that energize them andserve their people well and sell
(02:54):
without the usualmasculine-driven friction that
we all know for the place, right?
Um, and I freaking love thisbecause Lori believes that the
right offer doesn't just growyour business, it actually gives
you back your life.
And so today I'm so freakingexcited to have Lori here to
talk about herself, themisalignment leaks that are in
(03:16):
your offers that quietly makethem harder to sell and why
everything might look reallygood on paper, but really off in
your energy and what you can doabout it.
So, Lori, I'm so freakingexcited to have you here today.
SPEAKER_00 (03:27):
I am so excited to
be here.
Like, oh my gosh.
Like, and I have to mention justa shout out for Nicole.
Nicole is gonna be on my podcastsoon.
And I we've just hit it off, like energetically, and we're
just a really good match.
And so I know this is gonna be areally great episode.
SPEAKER_01 (03:47):
Me too.
Me too.
All right.
So maybe before we get into theenergy lease, I would love to
get into a little bit of yourbackground.
Why do you focus on offersspecifically?
Um, when did you start noticing?
Like, what did you notice inpeople's businesses that really
pulled you into this part of thework?
unknown (04:03):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (04:04):
So um I would say I
got into, well, first of all,
I've been in offers probably allmy life, uh, starting with my
background as in marketing at afood company.
So I worked under the VP ofsales and marketing.
So we I was surrounded bybranding and offers constantly.
(04:24):
Then I started a coachingpractice for moms, and I, of
course, was crafting my ownoffers.
Um, but then I started thebusiness that I have today, and
I was a marketing generalist.
I did a little bit ofeverything.
Can launch management, helpingpeople with their offers,
(04:45):
content management services,website development, funnel
development, the whole thing.
And I would say it was aboutwhere 2026, probably beginning
of 2023, I started noticing ahuge shift in the market.
A lot of people were comingonline, the market was becoming
(05:09):
very saturated.
Um, AI was uh starting to comeinto play, and things started
shifting.
And what I noticed is thatthings that I would have
typically gotten hired for, people were hiring specialists.
And it was like, ooh, okay.
(05:31):
For 18 months, I kind of satwith this my it this intuitive
feeling that the generalistworld is dying.
And I need to position myself ina new way, in a different way
that leans into my own naturalgenius.
(05:54):
And uh I sat with it for 18months intuitively because I
didn't know what my freakinggenius was.
I'm not kidding you.
So I literally I my wholebusiness was built around using
the skills and the genius andthe talents of my team in my
(06:17):
agency.
And I yes, I have a genius inmanaging projects and managing
team, but it wasn't likesomething like that.
I loved it, didn't like set mysoul on fire.
Well, it took a breakdown.
I mean, I'm telling you abreakdown.
My spouse was sitting in thatchair right over there, and she
(06:39):
literally said four words to mesomething needs to change.
And the tears just came down.
Um, and I knew it's like I knowI I have been trying to ignore
my intuition for so long becauseI didn't have the answer, and I
(07:00):
had too much stuck energy forthat answer to even come to me.
So I just broke down.
I just cried and cried and criedand I released all of that
energy.
And then I asked my copywriter areally unique question.
I said, Drashti, I said, like,if you look at me, I said, can
(07:25):
you tell me like what do youthink like I'm really good at?
And she said, you have such anatural way of seeing people's
genius and bringing that out inthem.
And I was like, interesting.
Wow.
I started like looking at mylife and looking like at my
(07:50):
sons, looking at my friends, looking at like everything.
And it's like I finallyrealized, oh my god, I do see
the genius in everyone, I do seehow everyone is so unique and
what makes them like magical, orwhat I say, like what their mojo
(08:10):
is.
And that's how the offerstrategy uh in positioning came
out because I know that it isour mojo, it is our brilliance,
and it is our genius that we areselling when we craft our
offers.
So that's how it got started.
I literally like like it wasn'tlike a complete, like, you know,
(08:35):
180, but let's say a complete 90degree shift.
Like I literally like justchanged all my messaging,
started putting stuff out intothe world that I am the offer
and positioning strategist, andpeople were like eyebrows
raised, suddenly, like, oh wow, this is unique.
(08:57):
I had, I think, six speakingengagements booked within a
month.
And since I've leaned into that,my podcast has grown 10x.
SPEAKER_01 (09:10):
It's an incredible
podcast.
Yes.
Thank you.
Completely understand that.
SPEAKER_00 (09:14):
Thank you.
So that's how I got started.
Uh, yo, huge background inbranding and marketing,
generalist for a long time, intuition screaming at me.
Um, finally found my own genius,my own lane, and I pivoted.
Oh my god.
And it's been amazing.
Uh, so yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (09:33):
What an incredible
story because it is such a
mirror, I think.
And there has to be some supermagical secret sauce to you and
your journey and you helpingother people in very similar
journeys that are coming downyour pipeline as well.
Because I think it takes a lotfor not only, I just love the
fact that you just had to putthe mirror up and be like, oh,
you are the person that findsthe magic in other people,
(09:56):
right?
And so it's so hard in thisjourney, especially as
entrepreneurs, to step outsideof ourselves and see the genius
within ourselves because we getclogged up with the reality of
the tests and the to-dos and andall of the things that we have
to do.
And how is everybody elseshowing up in the world?
And there's a lot of emulationand copying that goes on, right?
(10:16):
Yes.
So having someone like you thatis able to, and you're a
projector, are you not, Lori?
I am a projector, which isexactly who you want, digging
into your energy and yourbusiness to find truth in it and
put the mirror up to say this isexactly what your secret sauce
is.
And like, I am not surprised atall that you've had all the
(10:38):
speaking engagements that yourpodcast is blowing up, just
because to have a projector inthe space, uh, and you with the
experience in the space to showpeople their magic, like that is
probably worth its weight ingold.
SPEAKER_00 (10:52):
Yeah, you know what?
I didn't know that because itwasn't until I'd say probably
beginning part of last year thatI started like researching human
design and found out that I wasa projector and like actually
did research on the bestbusiness strategies for a
projector and what the strengthsare of a projector.
(11:17):
And I'm like, ah, ha, I seepatterns that other people don't
see.
Like, okay, like I have depth, Ihave the ability to connect
right with people.
It's like I have a two-four uhuh emotional authority.
So I'm really good withconnecting with people.
I can be a hermit sometimes, butthen I come back and I connect
(11:39):
with people, but I have really, really deep, just a lot of depth
to the way I work with clients, which is what this needs because
when we are crafting I uh offersthat are aligned with our
genius, there's a lot ofidentity work uh in that.
So yeah, and and and I happen tobe a little, I guess what I
(12:03):
would consider neurospicy.
Like I have like a half very uhI'd say strategic and structured
brain and a half very creativeuh brain.
So it's like I hold themessaging and the positioning,
(12:23):
like while I hold the structureof an offer, if that makes
sense.
It's just kind of a like aunique combination.
And I don't think I would haveever, if I hadn't done all of
the identity work myself lastyear, I don't think I would have
ever identified myself as beingneurospicy, but it's just like I
(12:44):
gave birth to one ADHD son andone uh kid on the autism
spectrum.
It's like okay, like um, yeah.
So I I I I would say that mybrain is a little bit
neurodivergent, but it's whatmakes me really good at what I
do.
SPEAKER_01 (13:02):
So and it's so funny
because the listeners of my
podcast are are now like, oh, Iknow exactly why Nicole likes
her so much, because we are sosimilar in that way.
Okay.
I'm a projector, right?
Love a fellow projector, and Ialso come from the background of
business and had a lot ofpersonal transformation work to
do to bring in that creativeside of the house.
So there's a lot of similaritiesbetween the two of us, which
(13:24):
obviously means, you know, ourenergy frequencies in alignment,
but also I can see also thedepth and the integrity that you
bring to this work.
And projectors light up when welight up other people.
And so that's that's why I feelso in tune with you and your
podcasts and your serviceofferings with the um with the
offers and and how you literallyshow up to help other people
(13:49):
uncover their genius.
So so let's talk about that.
So I know that you talk about umoffers and misalignment leaks.
What do you how do you want toapproach those?
How do they show up in someone'sbusiness?
Where do you where do you thinkit'd be valuable to go down the
rabbit hole here?
SPEAKER_00 (14:04):
So I think what I
want to talk about is I mean, we
can't, we would talk forever ifI talked about all of the
misalignment leaks that show upin offers, but I want to talk
about three of the most commonbecause I think that's what uh
people will resonate with most.
And I even if they can make oneof these shifts, I it will be
(14:27):
hugely beneficial.
And we've already startedtalking about one of those
leaks, and that is not aligningyour offers with your natural
genius.
So, what a lot of people do isthey put together offers that
are something they think isgoing to sell, something that
(14:49):
they think is what theiraudience wants, something that
their audience has asked for.
And they start like going downthis path of creating offers in
a particular lane or creatingall kinds of offers that are
some maybe genius, some may notbe.
(15:12):
And before you know it, they'vegot a business that doesn't
light them up.
Um, a business that just startsto feel like drudgery, it starts
to feel difficult, it it doesn'tmove because it's not aligned
with your natural genius, and soyou get a lot of stuck energy
(15:36):
and it's hard to grow a businesswhen you have a lot of stuck
energy.
People, it just doesn't flow theway you do.
And when you it's like the way Idescribe it, I guess.
Um I'm trying to think of likewho was I talking to the other
day um about energy frequency.
I I'll come back to it if Iremember it.
(15:57):
But it's like if you're not, ifyour offers and your business
are not aligned with yourgenius, right?
Your your frequency is probablylike you know, down here.
Then you align your offers andyour business with your genius,
and suddenly you're so excited, you're so passionate about what
(16:18):
you do, and your frequency likenaturally rises.
And we all know what happenswhen your frequency naturally
rises, you begin to attract,right?
Business begins to flow to you,and you know, even even though
my business, you know, is I havelike this little gnat around me.
(16:40):
Um anyway, even though mybusiness is um like you know,
aligned with my natural genius, and I know that because when I'm
in client calls, I'm just solike lit up.
I'm so I just enjoy it so much.
What happens, and we'll talkabout this as another leak, is
there's certain parts of mybusiness that might feel
(17:03):
misaligned.
And when that energy gets stuck,it's just like I'm getting
dragged down and I don't show upin the same frequency level that
I need to to grow the business.
So that's the first thing.
And here's the thing, you know,I want to say this because I
think this is so important.
A lot of people think, oh, Idon't know what my natural
(17:26):
genius is, or I don't reallyhave a natural genius, or I'm
not really a brilliant person,I'm just average.
Bullshit.
Bullshit.
I call bullshit on that becauseI truly believe everyone has
their own unique mojo, andeveryone is brilliant in their
own way.
We just have to pull out whatthat is, right?
(17:49):
It it's not like we don't haveto compare ourselves to, you
know, all these big like uh, youknow, content creators and
influencers on, you know, uh, orthese big huge experts that have
this massive following.
No, like brilliance and geniusis so nuanced and can be so like
(18:10):
specific.
The way we see things in adifferent way than other people,
the way we do things that'sdifferent.
Um, even like our expertise, like maybe we bring like this
really layered expertise, youknow, into what we do.
Pulling out that genius and thatbrilliance is it's it's very
(18:31):
nuanced.
And I will never allow anyone toplay small because I just don't
believe in it, because I feellike you were born into this
world for a reason.
And whoever you, if it's God,universe, like whatever you call
that person or entity orwhatever, you're here for a
(18:55):
reason.
You have a purpose, you have amission, you have brilliance,
you have genius that you canbring, and that's what we are
meant to.
That's why we're here is to useour gifts to help change other
people's lives, however, thatlooks.
SPEAKER_01 (19:11):
I love that.
I love that so much.
And I I just everything you saidis just absolutely beautiful and
magnetic.
And I completely agree with youthat everyone here on planet
earth probably can have abusiness.
Like, right, right.
There is a secret sauce to everysingle one of us that we bring
to the table.
And to your point, when youstart comparing yourself to the
(19:32):
other people who are incrediblyowning their own authenticity,
their own, their own mojo,right?
And you start to emulate them,of course, it's not gonna work.
You can't have the misalignedoffer because that's part of
their genius.
And so uncover having workingwith someone like you to uncover
your own genius, yes, and createoffers around that is gonna be
(19:54):
the key to you being successfulin your business and also the
key to you living a life thatyou fucking love.
SPEAKER_00 (20:02):
Yeah, yeah, brings
joy, you know, and I want to say
I want to say this because Idon't know if all of your
listeners are business owners.
Even if you are working at acompany, having the right job
for you that's aligned with yournatural brilliance and genius,
like that's oh my God, that justbrings complete career
(20:25):
fulfillment.
I mean, I my son, I mentionedthem a younger son, is
high-functioning autism.
His, if you know anything aboutautism, they usually have a
fixation on a particularsubject, maybe one or two, but
my son's is vehicles, cars.
Okay.
(20:45):
He has been in two cars since hewas one.
Like my entire house would belined up with traffic jams of
Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars.
By three years old, he waslooking at uh supercars, a thick
supercars book, like flippingthe pages until the pages like
(21:07):
fell apart.
Wow.
And guess what he's doing today?
He's working for icon 4x4, whichis a custom designed uh cart
vehicle.
They take old Ford Broncos, oldFH uh FJ cruisers, and modernize
them under the icon brand.
(21:29):
He they are they are sellingmillion-dollar vehicles.
Guess who landed uh that projectmanagement and click client
liaison job right out ofcollege?
Oh my gosh.
Because that's his superpower.
Oh right, you know, like that itis his superpower.
Um, and you know, and I knowthat's a really, really nuanced,
(21:51):
but I could tell the same storyabout my other son who's in
enterprise sales, like, and likehe's been negotiating with me
since he was 13.
Years old.
Like, I remember when he was 16,he got grounded from the uh the
car because he did somethingthat I didn't like.
Oh my god, that dude like wasnegotiating every freaking angle
(22:14):
that he could come up with toget that car back.
And I'm like, no, you're notgetting the car back.
I don't care.
You're a good negotiator.
Um, and he uses that uh in salestoday.
He's very analytical, uh, just avery good negotiator.
Like he can see things from alldifferent angles.
(22:34):
That's a superpower.
Not everyone has that.
SPEAKER_01 (22:37):
Wow.
And this is making me feel feelbetter as last night.
My 12-year-old was trying tonegotiate with me and was
throwing me at the fucking wall.
So so my person, my human istaking this one outside of this
podcast episode.
But but as you're talking, Lori,I I hear spirit in my head
saying, No one can beat you atyour own game.
When you recognize your owngenius, no one will do better at
(22:57):
it than you.
Absolutely.
That's 100% true.
Oh my gosh.
100% true.
I love this so much.
So misalignment leaks.
So, what's the next one then?
SPEAKER_00 (23:07):
The next one is
using the wrong delivery model
for your offers.
SPEAKER_01 (23:13):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (23:14):
Okay.
Um, so as you know, there are somany different uh offer types.
There are there's, you know,one-on-one deep work, there is,
you know, group programs, there's retreats, there's
community-based offers, there'sum courses, there's just a
million different kinds of waysthat you can bring your offer to
(23:37):
the world.
When you're not working in theright model, and you're working
in a model that drains you, it'sjust not gonna work.
I worked with a health coach, for instance, who was doing
one-on-one work, and she was soburnt out and so drained when
she came to me.
(23:58):
And we started like just digginginto just the offer model of at
that particular time.
Um, and like what she said to mewas like, oh my God, like I hate
doing one-on-one work.
She's like, I am like, I shesays, I will work with a client
for about a month, and then I'mjust over it.
(24:21):
Like, I just don't want to golike any further.
Um, and she's like, What Ireally want to be doing is like
group programs or retreats.
And I said, So why aren't youdoing that?
And you know, that questionalone was just like, uh, yeah,
why aren't I doing that?
Because in her mind, she wastold one-on-one is how you need
(24:46):
to work with your clients, youknow, and knowing she didn't
believe in her heart and soulthat she could make a retreat
model work for herself, or thatshe could make a group model
work for herself.
You know, a lot of times whatpeople are doing is they're
chasing trends, like you know, right now the community-based
(25:07):
offer is a big trend.
Oh, you know, everywhere you go,you need to be in community,
need to be in community.
Like, you know, everyone wantscommunity right now.
So everyone is creating acommunity-based offer.
What if a community-based offerlike drains the hell out of you?
Like you're not you're not gonnabe able to fill it.
(25:28):
I mean, if it's the right modelfor you, like any model will
work.
And if it's the right model foryou, you will feel energized by
it.
If it's the wrong model for you, you're not gonna show up as as
your best self.
SPEAKER_01 (25:43):
Well spoken by a
projector, too, because
projectors are fiercelyprotective of our own energy.
And if anyone can tell you howto save your energy, it's gonna
be Lori.
SPEAKER_00 (25:52):
Yeah, and and I and
I will tell you this.
I mean, uh, it talk about like Iknow you talk a lot about like,
you know, soul and intuition andlike really like being in touch
with that.
Regarding my own offers, I'm aprojector, I'm deep.
So my best work is one-on-one.
I love a one-on-onerelationship.
(26:13):
You know, a lot of experts willtell you you can't scale
one-on-one.
And it's like, I don't know thatI buy that, but I sat with that
for a little bit.
And it's like I started, I askedmy soul that question is how can
I scale my expertise and stillhonor the fact that I love to do
(26:38):
one-on-one work?
And I didn't have the answerlike right away.
I mean, yes, could I docommunities?
I could, uh, I don't, I don'twant to.
Could I do groups?
I could, and I might, uh, but ananswer came to me, and I want to
say it took probably three, fourmonths.
(27:00):
Um, and it's like, uh, I'm gonnatake my structure brain and my
ability to audit offers, and I'mgoing to turn it into a tool
that is going to do a lot of thework for me, and then it will
(27:20):
upsell to my offers.
SPEAKER_01 (27:24):
I love it.
SPEAKER_00 (27:25):
You know, and that's
scalable.
You know, a tool these days, uhI'm not I'm not talking about
just a basic like tool, I'mtalking a robust tool that I
will build that does a reallygreat job of like auditing an
offer and showing themisalignment links within that
(27:46):
offer that need to be addressedto make it more viable.
SPEAKER_01 (27:52):
Oh, I love that.
And we're gonna we'll have thatin the show notes, I believe.
So we'll talk about that in alittle bit, but it's incredible.
SPEAKER_00 (27:58):
I won't have that
tool in the show notes.
No, I won't have that tool, butI will I will give my um AI
powered offer confidence uhtoolkit, which is it's very
good, but the tool I'm going tobuild is way more robust.
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (28:15):
So stay tuned on
that one.
Yeah, what a what a brilliant, brilliant idea in terms of uh
shifting the deliverabledelivery model.
And I think we are both inagreement.
I know most of my my communityis that the systems are all
falling apart right now.
All the systems, all thestructures are breaking down,
which means that this is theright time to start envisioning,
(28:35):
dreaming, being being big, yes,and bold in how you want to
start approaching this work.
And to your point, aligning thatwith your energy, aligning that
with your frequency, so thatagain, it energizes you, it
allows you to be your best self, show up in the best way because
no one wants, you know, anentrepreneur or professional,
someone that they're buyingservice or product-based
(28:56):
offerings from that is tired andoverwhelmed and overworked like
the rest of us.
Like, we need to be the frontleaders in terms of setting up
new structures that support us.
So I love this so much.
SPEAKER_00 (29:07):
Yeah.
And I'm gonna throw in just atiny little nugget based on what
you just said um of that thesystems are breaking down.
Everyone is feeling it rightnow.
Everyone is like, oh my god, like, why aren't my offers
selling the way they used to?
Oh my god, why does this feellike off?
Why do I feel so misaligned?
(29:28):
And I want to just say, like, weneed to lean into our
positioning, like positioning, specific positioning is more
important than ever right now.
Um, if you are a generalist, AIis gonna take your job.
I'm sorry, I don't I don't meanto be like mean about that, but
(29:53):
people are typing into AIgeneral questions.
I just saw a post on LinkedIntoday, and I thought it was just
brilliant.
The guy was talking aboutcoaches, right?
And how AI is going to takecoaches' jobs, that there's
basically three types of coachesuh in this world, you know,
problem solvers, um, anotherkind, but the third kind of
(30:17):
coach that AI cannot replace isthe truth teller and the person
that is an that is able to holdemotional space and create
identity shifts uh for peoplebecause we can all go get
information, right?
(30:37):
Like I literally, someone, it'sfunny because someone just
contacted me and said, I wantI'm you know building a new
offer, I really admire yourexpertise.
I want to, I need to get uh yoursupport.
And I said, fantastic.
I'm happy to support you.
I loved his mission.
(30:57):
And he he asked for everything.
He wanted full offer ecosystemdesign, brand development,
website development.
He wanted the whole shebang,right?
Quoted it to him.
He came back to me, he said, Iso respect your expertise.
He said, but I need to do thison my own.
I had Claude build my offer inmy website, and I was like,
(31:20):
Okay, all right, show me.
Show me, please show me becauseI wanted to see.
And like I had I all I did was Itook one look at the website and
the offer, and I'm like, okay, yeah, this is vanilla, this is
average, this is AI.
Um, and it just it was aconfirmation to me that why you
(31:46):
need to lean into yourexpertise, why your expertise
needs to be so nuanced, and whylike you need to outpace like
AI.
Um, because AI is general and itcan, yeah, it can create an
offer.
I invite people, go create youroffer.
You're gonna put out an averageoffer.
(32:07):
I promise you, you will.
Um, so anyway, that's just to beweird.
Let's get into the third.
You're like, you're like, I'llsee you in three months.
Okay, so let's get into thethird uh misalignment uh leak
because I know I personallystruggle with this like a lot,
(32:29):
and I know other people do too.
And that is aligning yourvisibility strategies in the
wrong way.
So so many people, I know a lotof people right now that are so
over social media, right?
And a lot of people think, ah, Igotta post on social media, I
(32:49):
gotta do this, I gotta, and theylook at like social media as
like the only like visibilitystrategy.
And visibility is so much biggerthan that, and there's so many,
many strategies that you can useto get eyes on your offers and
your brand.
And if you choose the wrongstrategy for yourself, like
(33:11):
based on who you are and likewhat your genius is and how you
like to show up, it's gonnabecome a drag.
Um, so it's like social media isbecoming a real freaking drag
for me.
This kind of stuff, love it,love show up on podcasts, right?
I'm reaching, I don't know howmany listeners you you have or
(33:32):
how many listeners will findthis in in the future, but I'm
reaching in and being visible toa lot of people in a way that
like lights me up.
Social media, like I have toturn it into a almost like a
creative game.
It's like, okay, I have to makethis fun, or I am not gonna want
(33:56):
to do it.
And you know, I also know likeI'm a good writer, so it's like
blogging is like a great toolfor me for for visibility.
I've been writing a blog weeklyfor almost 10 years.
Wow, yeah, that's incredible.
And and you might think, ah,blogging stead, blah, blah,
(34:18):
blah.
Guess what?
My last seven leads have comethrough AI search as a result of
my website and my blog.
And one's still pending, andfive of those closed on the
spot.
Wow.
On the spot.
Wow.
And again, that's that goes backto positioning, right?
(34:41):
But it goes back to the factthat this is a visibility
strategy that works for me.
Yes.
Like I enjoy it.
Um, I it's like right now, I'mlike testing out YouTube, and oh
my god, I feel like it's theWild West.
SPEAKER_01 (34:57):
It's brutal.
SPEAKER_00 (34:58):
Yeah, it's such a
drag.
And I just think to myself, am Ireally gonna be able to maintain
this?
Probably not, because it just Idon't know.
I'm not like, I'm not honestlylike not a natural off the cuff
kind of talker.
(35:19):
Um, if I'm not in aconversation, I'm natural in a
like one-on-one conversation, but to ask me to show up in
front of a video and perform orto talk and to like some people
are just really good, like atjust talking off the cuff, and
they just they come up with likethey're super natural, they're
super good at it.
(35:41):
It's not me, but other people itthey are, it is, and absolutely
they should be like leaning intovideo, so it's like there's so
many different strategies, and alot of people, you know, there's
so many, you know, people outthere too telling you you need
to be doing video, right?
AI is, you know, if you don'tshow up as your real person on
(36:03):
video, you know, you're notgonna be able to, you know,
build trust.
There's just so many likedifferent stories out there that
are selling their own solutions, and you got to ignore the noise.
You really have to find thevisibility strategies that work
for you, and that's that's partof the work that I do.
(36:25):
You would think, oh, it's notrelated to offers, it 100% is
because if you're not visible,no one's ever going to see your
offers.
Um, so it is part of the offerlife cycle, and it is, you know,
something that I do with uhstudents in my offer mojo
studio.
It's not like a, you know, Idon't like specialize in
visibility.
(36:45):
I I know visibility well becauseof marketing.
Um and I know visibility wellenough because I've been doing
it, and I know when it feelsmisaligned, and I know that you
just don't show up as your bestself when the strategy you're
using does not fit who you arenaturally.
So absolutely, absolutely, thoseare the three main leaks I see.
(37:09):
Add that positioning piece inthere as a little bonus.
Um, and I'm I promise you, ifyou shift one uh of those, it's
gonna make a huge difference.
SPEAKER_01 (37:20):
Yes, yes, and I love
that you were talking about so I
think visibility is soimportant, and I also loathe
social media.
Um and yay, I found my personYouTube but but it's so but it's
so interesting, and we don'thave to go into my rabbit hole.
I definitely want to talk aboutthe market a little bit, but
like for me personally, I knowthat when people see me,
(37:42):
especially as a projector, youcall them in, right?
Vibrationally, so it'sunderstanding what formats do am
I able to say it differently tomaintain my vibrational
alignment and show up in theright spaces so that the right
people can find me.
And it's such an interestingdynamic.
And I think um it's interestingbecause out of your leaks, I
(38:04):
think visibility feels to meinstinctually that it's gonna be
the one that is gonna change themost as we move forward.
So, so sticking andunderstanding, you know, not
necessarily understanding markettrends to follow them, but just
to understand what's availableout there is gonna be so key.
So I guess um, given you kind ofmentioned how the current state
(38:25):
of the economy and and people'soffers not selling, is there
anything that you wouldrecommend for you for like sole
entrepreneurs that are listeningto this podcast today?
Is there any tips that you wouldgive people off the bat based on
the current market and whatyou've seen?
Maybe some quick tips to work umextending their offers and
getting a little more successgiven the state of the market
(38:45):
right now.
SPEAKER_00 (38:47):
I think right now
it's about uh positioning and
specificity.
I think it's like positioningyour content in a very specific
way, positioning your brand in avery specific way so that people
like instantly know what yourlane is and what is the core
(39:09):
transformation that you bring toyour clients.
Um it's trying to be likeeverything to everyone is is not
going to work.
And that is all about yourpositioning and your messaging
and how you're speaking to yourclients in the your content,
(39:33):
however that content looks,right?
So whether that content issomething like this, a podcast
episode, your own solo podcast,uh YouTube, um blogging, social
media content, collaborationsthat you that you do.
There's so many differentstrategies.
Um, but it should be crystalclear when someone says, Oh my
(39:59):
god, like I'm just gonna giveyou an example.
My spouse, right?
Yep, my spouse uh might say, Ohmy god, I'm so missing my mom
right now.
I wish I could talk to her.
Guess what?
I know someone that can help youtalk to her.
Because I've read it in yourcontent.
Yeah, I've read, okay, I've readit, and I immediately thought my
(40:26):
spouse, like she's been missingher mom for seven years, you
know, and if she could talk toher mom and hear something from
her mom from the other side, ohmy god, it would be so freaking
life-changing for her.
Um, so I that's what I I wantyou, I want people to ask
(40:49):
themselves if someone is talkingabout a specific problem that
they're having, and and it's aproblem that you solve, are you
instantly recognizable?
Like, oh my God, you have totalk to that person.
(41:10):
When someone in my community,um, which you know is wide,
starts talking about problemsthey're having with their
positioning and their offers.
Oh my god, you have to talk toLori.
SPEAKER_01 (41:24):
Yep, having a clear
problem and a clear solution.
SPEAKER_00 (41:26):
Yeah, clear problem
and clear solution.
Um that is, I would say kind ofurgent for people to solve.
Um, people are being veryselective with where they're
putting their money and whothey're putting their money
with.
Um, and so it needs to feelurgent enough to to them.
(41:47):
They need to recognize, like,ah, yeah, that's me.
Like just yesterday, I had aprospect reach out that said,
you know, your work with offerecosystem design is the exact
problem that we are trying tosolve right now.
They have five offers, none ofthem are are connected, and they
(42:08):
want a full client journey, uh,like with offers, with an offer
ecosystem.
And that's exactly the problem Isolve.
SPEAKER_01 (42:17):
I love that.
SPEAKER_00 (42:18):
So that's like how
why you have to get like super
specific.
Yeah.
And I think it's important inyour content.
SPEAKER_01 (42:24):
Yeah.
And a lot of I know a lot of theentrepreneurs that don't come
from the business background, like yourself and and and
myself, um, we don't realize howeverything is connected like
that, right?
And how like all of these thingsare different parts of the
puzzle because again, theypeople know their business well,
they know their expertise verywell, but selling them and
identifying how to package themand how to get them out there is
(42:47):
a whole other thing.
SPEAKER_00 (42:49):
But I don't even and
even packaging the offers in an
ecosystem, because we don't wantto have to just like sell this
service or sell this service orsell this offer, sell this
offer.
You want a client journey so theclients that you do like work
hard to get, they stay with you.
(43:11):
Yeah, they can progress up your, you know, through your
ecosystem.
Um, and they're with you becauseit's hard work to get new
clients.
Especially in today's day andage.
Exactly.
So keep them longer if you can.
Design your offers so that uhthere's an ecosystem, it keeps
(43:32):
them longer with you.
SPEAKER_01 (43:33):
This is such a
brilliant conversation.
This is why I love listening toyou, talking with you, listening
to your podcast.
Um, so why don't you talk alittle bit about that offer
confidence toolkit that you werechatting about before?
And how can folks leverage that?
What can they use it for?
Where can they get it?
SPEAKER_00 (43:48):
So uh they can get
it at my on my website, and you
can drop the show link.
But it's basicallyonamissionbrands.com forward
slash offer.
Dash checklist.
And basically what it does is ithelps you kind of walk through
the offer life cycle and it's 10questions and you answer uh you
(44:15):
know where you're at, you know, scale of one to 10 or whatever
on a particular thing.
And what it does is it kind ofhighlights areas where you need
to improve.
Like it just pulls out um leaksin your offer that you could be
working on.
It also gives you strengths, like, oh, you're doing a really
good job with this.
(44:36):
So like lean into the strengthsof that offer.
So it looks at a single offerand basically just helps you
have the confidence to go outthere and sell it, or at least
know like what you could tweakand change to make it even
better so that it convertsbetter.
Um, it's a GPT, um, you know, custom designed.
(45:03):
Um, it's easy.
It's there's also a PDF.
So, like if you're like anti-AI,which I know a lot of people
that are anti-AI, and that'stotally fine.
I'm not.
Um, you can just read the PDF.
Like PDF, in my opinion, is anoutdated offer type, but it's
there.
You can still read it if you'reanti-AI.
SPEAKER_01 (45:25):
Love that so much.
I love it.
So I will absolutely add that inthe show notes and Lori.
It was such a fabulousconversation today.
And honestly, I loved it.
It was so great.
And and I just to I always liketo recap at the end for my that
too long didn't listen, or wetalked about a lot of stuff.
So, again, just to remindeverybody like the biggest
takeaway here is if you areworking in your business, it's
(45:45):
not always about doing more orworking harder, right?
It's all of always aboutassessing what is out of
alignment with your offers, withyour visibility, with how you're
delivering it to your clients.
Yes.
And you can definitely work withLori for all of these amazing
tools and tips.
And sounds like she has thisamazing system coming out soon.
So go follow her on all thesocials so you can Yeah, and
(46:07):
listen, you know what?
SPEAKER_00 (46:08):
Listen to my
podcast.
You will get like I am anovershare.
As you can tell.
So you're gonna get a lot.
Just my uh my uh um podcast.
Uh I can give you the link uh tomy podcast.
Yes.
Well, it's the offer mojo show.
Yes.
(46:29):
Um, so and also give her afollow.
Your favorite uh podcastplatform.
SPEAKER_01 (46:34):
Yes, absolutely.
So I'll add all that in the shownotes.
Give her a follow on Instagramand LinkedIn.
Again, I'll toss it all in theshow notes.
And if you are looking for helpwith your offers, Lori is the
magician that will get that donefor you.
SPEAKER_00 (46:46):
So thank you so much
for being here, Lori.
Yeah, thank you so much, Nicole.
This is amazing.
Loved this conversation, justlove your energy personally.
SPEAKER_01 (46:53):
So feeling is
mutual, my dear.
Take care.
SPEAKER_00 (46:58):
All right, bye bye.
Bye.
