Wrestling.
We are on round number two.
We got the guys heading out toStanford.
This is Cav Corner number two.
It's something we decided tocover, I think we kind of talked
about in the beginning, so wewon't dive into that too much.
But they're heading out toStanford, going to Palo Alto

kind of a new travel for thoseguys this year.
I think since those guys joinedthe ACC it'll be a good duel.
The one odd thing that I didnotice about Stanford is they
don't have a 125.
Not sure why that is.
Couldn't tell you.
Roster struggles, I guess whoknows, who knows, unless the
coach tells you right.

And that's the same thing withus when we're kind of going with
the theme of trying to figureout who's going to be going,
when I know, just going aroundsome of the school year here,
there's been a lot of illnesses.
There's been a lot of guys downthat's in high school, that's
not even just at UVA, that'severywhere right now.
So I'm sure they're going to bedealing with some illnesses, I

think, this week.
But we do have a decent lineupstill, you know, just to kind of
go off of and know what they'regoing to do.
I know just that I'm kind ofusing track wrestling anyways
just to kind of see what theyhave up here for um, uh, for
rosters, you know listed.
I know these are pretty again,people you don't know, you don't

know what's going to happen,you don't know what happened
today before.
You know, like yesterday beforethey left, or today, you just
don't know what happened.
So you could have a guy writtendown and you're going to watch
the duel and be like crap, it'sa whole different guy, right?
So, with that being said, we'regoing to kind of go off of
track.
I'm going to make some guessesoff of rumors that I've heard

about things going around,things like that.
Because, again, illnesses, someguys might be a little dinged up
, you know, might not be thetime to have someone into, so
they might need a break, andthat's that's important to me.
I know steve and coach garlandand in the paulsons and and ian
are proud of their athletes.
Now they take care of them.
So I know there's going to be aguy that's out.

It doesn't matter what the dualscore says.
They want to make sure because,again, building towards the end
, right, building towards abetter goal, um of the end of
the season.
So, um, regardless of what theydo, what they wind up doing um
to this afternoon, um is whatthey choose to do.
So we're just kind of excitedto talk about it.

Because, number one, I knowthey haven't had a 125, so
hopefully kv on roller gets alittle bit of a break, sand rays
helps them on the end of theseason kind of thing, records
and all that other good stuff,but I haven't seen Stanford with
a 125.
So we get into 133 real quick.
I know that I think we had Rossilast week.

Look good, it was kind of hisfirst real kind of big test.
So I know that the coaches liketo do this too.
I like to get some young guysout there to get them some
experience and get a coupleduels under their belt before
they wind up going into thepostseason.
It makes sense to me.
It only gets the guys prepareda little bit more, kind of
understanding what they need towork on, not so much about what

the opponent's doing, but whatare the needs that they've got
to focus on going into the room.
So I don't know that Rossi isgoing to going to be the guy

That'd be great to see.

I know Sedano's our guy.

I think that is something thatwe'll see.

looking at it right now.

going to be there, so I'm goingto guess that it's going to be
Sanko.

It's good to see that theystill have a program with a lot

I want to see where burrell'sat, because some of the guys
he's putting those double legson weren't ready for his pace

Stem it's going to give him agood test.
I think stem it's going to givehim good defense and be able to
kind of put on a show a littlebit more of what he's capable of

So my money is going to be onBurrell they call it a dub on

they're in their conference, butwe really like to see, uh, all

garland and crew have beenreally good at mixing these guys
up and you know you got acouple of guys there at the 125,
133 area that they could alwaysI mean they could throw it in
there and completely throw usoff.

So I'm excited just to see whatthey do put out there for a
lineup and see who does put itout there.

I'm not excited for the waythat these guys have to get to
travel so far, things like that.

So it's good to see them,especially last week against um,
north carolina state, getting adecent mix of a couple guys a
couple freshmen were in therethat typically weren't getting
you know the exposure.
Now they're getting thatexposure.
It's the little things, I think, to me that matter, like that,
that these guys understand thatthey.
They got to see whereeveryone's at Right.
It's another reason why theroster can change up.

talking about Virginia coaches,right?
We're talking about SteveGarland, trent Paulson, travis
Paulson, ian Parker.
That's what we're talking about, and these guys are pretty
smart and they're doing itpretty smart.
They're building somethingspecial there.
So pay attention, this duel isgoing to be out in Stanford.

It's going to be 5 pm central,I believe 6 pm eastern and I
believe it's 3 pm out there.
So if you're out in California,you hear this, watch them.

It's to get this out there forthe guys and get some

They deserve it.
I think that there's a programthat has been really building

On this one, with my lineup, Ithink they're crazy.

You know they have backups thatare great.
So it's good to see them,especially last week against um,
north carolina state, getting adecent mix of a couple guys a
couple freshmen were in therethat typically weren't getting
you know the exposure.
Now they're getting thatexposure.
It's the little things, I think, to me that matter, like that,
that these guys understand thatthey.
They got to see whereeveryone's at Right.
It's another reason why theroster can change up.

That's what we're talking about, and these guys are pretty
smart and they're doing itpretty smart.
They're building somethingspecial there.
So pay attention, this duel isgoing to be out in Stanford.

It's going to be 5 pm central,I believe 6 pm eastern and I
believe it's 3 pm out there.
So if you're out in California,you hear this, watch them.

On this one, with my lineup, Ithink they're crazy.
