guidelines, expertise,authoritativeness and
trustworthiness, that episodewas truly a Gold Mine for anyone
aiming to make their contentstand out in the vast internet

(00:47):
ocean.
Well, today we're going tocircle back with a crucial
update.
As of December 2022, googleadded a new E to the mix
Experience.
Can you believe it?
Now?
I have to say, if you'recurious about the nitty gritty
of EAT, you really need to makesure to revisit Season 1,

(01:12):
episode 2.
It's all there and everythingthat you need to know.
If you go back and listen tothat episode, you'll get
everything that you could everwant to know about EAT, what it
stands for and examples that youcan start using today.
But today we're going to focuson the new E, which is- wait for

(01:36):
it, EXPERIENCE! And this new Eis basically going to reshape
the entire content landscape.
So let's get into it.
So let's say you've stoppedthis episode.
You went back and you listenedto Season 1, episode 2 of Google

(02:02):
EAT talking about Google EAT,that is and you have already
mastered the art of showcasingyour expertise.
You have demonstrated yourauthoritativeness through
credible external and internallinking, and established

(02:22):
trustworthiness with abundantpositive reviews and an
impactful about us page.
There's just one more step totruly round out your content's
impact.
You need to infuse your ownexperience into the content.
Now, maybe you've already beendoing this, or maybe you thought

(02:45):
you were doing this, but youmight not have had it quite
right.
Well, basically, whatexperience is?
It's more than just the factsand the figures.
It's the real world examplesfrom your own journey that bring
your words to life.
These personal stories not onlyprove that you walk the walk,

(03:09):
but also it makes your contentdeeply relatable.
It's this unique blend ofexpertise and experience that
transforms your blog from asource of information into
inspiration and connection withyour audience.
Let's not just inform ourreaders.

(03:29):
Let's connect them through thepower of shared experiences.
So I will share my experiencejust briefly.
I remember when I started Callto Edify, which is our Christian
online boutique.
I remember doing blogs andbasically, I did blogs based off
of whatever I was feeling atthe time, something that maybe I

(03:52):
learned through a sermon atchurch or anything like that.
I might have had a little bitmore experience infused into the
specific article, but I don'tthink that I really took an
account of what my websitelooked like or the different

(04:12):
things that I noted and my aboutus, and so there were other
things that were missing.
But I believe when I went backand reflected on the different
things that I might not havebeen doing and I started taking
them one by one and making surethat those things were done and

(04:34):
also adding more experience intoeach one of my blog posts, I
believe that it helped me withthe search engine, because now
my information was being seen bypeople who were looking for
specific topics or, let's say, they're looking for a specific
item.
They were being basically drawnto my website and they would

(05:01):
click on specific links thatlink them to whatever they were
looking for.
But I did notice that before, when I didn't do those things,
it was very hard if I was tryingto search for my own
information.
It was hard to come up Like ifI had a specific search, it just

(05:23):
wouldn't come up in the searchengine at all, but I think when
I put all of those thingstogether, it started to come up,
like my Faith Over Fear blog.
If you type in Faith Over Fear, bible Versus, one of that blog
is probably it's on the firstpage, I'm not going to say where
specifically, but it is on thefirst page and some other of my

(05:48):
articles when I do them withthose steps in mind, making sure
that I am trying to writehighly engaging articles that
also follow that format.
So now it's your turn.
I already know that you alreadydove into season two, episode

(06:13):
one, if you didn't listen to ityet, and you know all about
Google's Eat, and now you knowabout the extra added one.
But what are you going to doabout it?
It's great to listen to apodcast, but you can't just
listen, you have to also takeaction.
So what will be your action?

(06:34):
Well, this is what I'm going totell you.
What you should do is go back, look at some of your blogs that
you have written already andlook to see.
Do you have all of these things?
Can you weave in moreexperience into your specific

(06:55):
blog?
And if you're wondering how youcan evaluate your content's
E-E-A-T score.
I've also got you covered.
I just found a neat little tooltoday that you can shoot your
blog articles in.
You can put them in and theycan show you how good you are

(07:19):
