From Fair Skies To A Fast-Moving Front: Your Mid-November Forecast

the Weatherman.

On your Friday, it's the 14thday of the month of November.
Quickly approaching midmonth,then we've got uh generally fair
skies and pretty typicalNovember conditions around the
eastern seaboard.
A little bit cold, wet, and somesnowy across New York State and
much of central and northern NewEngland, especially last few

days.
And then uh drier conditions andpossibly just near normal uh as
we head in through this weekend.
We do have a strong frontalsystem working its way towards
us on Saturday evening.
It'll be arriving from west toeast.
Could bring up some showers atthat point, and then we get into
a clearing trend.
So temperatures on Sunday willstart out warm, but then we've
got colder weather moving backin from the Great Lakes, and

we'll be back to temperatures inthe 40s and near 50 on Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday of nextweek.
In the meantime for today, lookfor sunshine, then some
afternoon clouds, hightemperatures for the day near
50, northwest winds at 5 to 15.
They'll be gusting up to 30across the Northeast corridor
today.
That includes D.C.
to New York to the Boston area.
A little bit warmer to thesouth, a little bit colder to
the north, a little extra cloudcover further north in this type

of situation.
Some clouds at night Friday withnighttime low temperatures down
at 30 to about 37 in Philly inthe city.
And daytime on Saturday, lookfor some early sunshine giving
way to an increase in clouds.
50 to 55.
Rainy weather likely forSaturday night.
Temperatures back into the 40s,about 40 north and west, to
about 45 to 50 along the coastin DC and down to Richmond.

So generally looking at thatrainy condition moving through
very rapidly with the coldfront, and maybe some leftover
showers early Sunday.
That gives way to a clearingtrend.
So Sunday afternoon will besunny, and early high
temperatures should range in the60s.
So it's gonna be warm, about uh60, 65 degrees.
Well, then turning sharplycooler both Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday of next week, andprobably even Thursday.
We're looking at fair skies nextweek with daytime highs each day

in the upper 40s and lower 50s,nighttime lows of the low to
mid-30s, near 40 along the coastin the city.
If you are traveling today byair, the weather situation
across the nation shows westcoast storms, east coast dry
conditions, except for centraland northern New York State,
central and northern Vermont,New Hampshire, and even up into

Maine, where those northwestwinds continue to give some lake
effect.
Uh snow and rain showers now asthe atmosphere is a little bit
warming.
But it is dry at New York.
The winds were lighter, so atleast weatherwise delays will
probably be at a minimum.
Any other delays would probablybe because of the shutdown and
slowly rolling back into normal.
Boston also looking at slightdelays.

DC, Dulles, all the way down toRichmond, no problems weather
wise there.
We've got some great weatherdown in Atlanta and
Jacksonville, and also down inMiami and in Fort Myers.
Dry weather in New Orleans.
Also the uh Dallas and Houstonarea looking very dry.
Well, warp front going throughChicago and Minneapolis, St.
Paul, so the weather will begood there.
West Coast, though, rainyweather in San Diego.

In San Diego, even some showersare possible.
Rain in LA, rain in SanFrancisco, Portland, and
Seattle.
So there could be some delaysbecause of the weather on the
West Coast today and tonight.
