From Snow In The Dakotas To Rain In The Northeast: Your U.S. Weekend Forecast

Hi, this is Meteorologist Steve Pelletier,
and I am the Weatherman.
Thanks for checking into theWeathermanPod.com on your
Saturday, eighth day of themonth of November, 2025, almost
a third of the way through themonth already.
It's going quickly.
Well, the uh things that arealso going quickly are the
weather systems across thenorthern tier of the country.
Uh, we see these high pressuresbuilding down out of central and
southern Canada, moving acrossthe Great Lakes.

(00:20):
It's going to be causing snow insections of the Dakotas and
central and southern Minnesotasometime later on today, and
also some icy conditions innorthern sections of Iowa,
portions of Wisconsin, and evenin the UP of Michigan as well.
From this area of low pressurethat had its origins across the
Pacific Northwest, and nowquickly rocketing to the east,
and we'll bring us some rainyweather for the mid-Atlantic

states and the northeast forSunday and Sunday night.
Then the high pressure behindit, well, the one that's causing
that snow across the Dakotas andsections of eastern Montana.
That'll be arriving in ourvicinity, but basically dry.
That'll be on Monday andTuesday.
Temperatures on Tuesday willprobably be only in the 40s.
Tuesday being the federalholiday, Veterans Day.
And with that in mind, we'relooking at fair skies, but

again, cooler conditions as wehead towards Tuesday and
midweek.
But for the daytime today, adecent amount of sun, but clouds
on the increase and bring ussome rain on Sunday.
Highs today, 60 to 65.
Highs tomorrow will also range60 to 65 on Sunday with that
rain.
The rain could linger into theevening hours, and then a
clearing trend for Monday andTuesday.
As mentioned, it's going to bebreezy on the cool side.

40s to near 50 both days.
If you're flying today, it lookslike our weather in Atlanta is
going to be pretty good.
This is the weather for theirdestinations or for the uh hubs
that we have all across thenation, of course, Atlanta being
the most busiest airport in theworld.
And of course, the hub for DeltaAirlines and many, a waypoint
for uh many airlines, uh eithergoing to the West Coast or to

the islands, the Hawaii, or outinto the Pacific as well.
So uh Atlanta's looking prettygood.
Miama, no problem.
There'll be some light showerslater in the day.
Uh Charlotte looking prettygood.
And in Houston and Dallas, FortWorth, the weather situation
isn't improving pretty goodly.
We do have uh the possibility ofsome delays going into Chicago.
That's because there might besome ice, and of course, because

of the shutdown of thegovernment, uh uh they're
probably gonna go by the bookgoing into both Midway and
O'Hare.
And uh that is because of thepossibility of some uh low
weather and icy conditions,especially in the afternoon and
evening hours on Saturday.
West Coast is looking dry.
LA and San Francisco, all dry,dry also in Portland and
Seattle.
The next storm boys to move inon Sunday.
