I'm gonna go ahead and blazethrough all these news this time
around and first of all let mesay it's a second anniversary
for the nerdy news and we'regoing to eventually do these
weekly, starting in 2026, butfor time being let's just stick

You know I'm saying so withoutfurther ado.
Let's go ahead and blazethrough all the news that we got
for this time around, startingwith movies.
A five and a half hour streamrevealed who we can expect to
appear in avengers doomsday.
A whole bunch of people likemaybe we're gonna get some more
folks, but I'm trying to managemy expectations on that.

Snow White and the SevenDwarves is now lower on the IMDb
score than the number onelowest rated film, all time
disaster movie.
Not surprised?
I'm not surprised, honestly.
We finally get an officialtitle For the fourth Spider-Man
movie From Tom HollandSpider-Man Brand New Day Coming

in theaters July 31st 2026.
Okay, okay.
And meanwhile we're going tohave Spider-Man Beyond the
Spider-Verse Coming in June 4th2027.
Nintendo just used this new appto announce that the release
date for a live-action Legend ofZelda movie is going to be

March 26, 2027.
A Minecraft movie, shatteredBox, offers records of $157
million domestic and $301million globally, the biggest
debut ever for a video gamemovie adaptation.
According to reports, multiplehollywood studios are interested

in a film adaptation of splitfiction, the new hazelight co-op
game that just launched earlier, and ketchup entertainment,
which handled the release of theDay the Earth Blew Up, a Looney
Tunes movie, and Ferrari.
They announced that they haveacquired the rights to Coyote vs

Acme, the film famously shownby Warner Bros, so that movie
might get its theatrical releaseafter all.
And finally, for movies, afterannouncing a hell divers movie,
sony has also announced thatthey will reboot starship
troopers.
The movie reboot is a newadaptation of the 1959 sci-fi

novel rather than a remake ofthe 1997 movie that heavily
inspired hell divers.
Uh, that is it for movies.
I'm more excited for thespider-man movies and, of course
, uh, avengers, doomsday.
Uh, congratulations to aminecraft movie.
I might review it at some point.
I'm also looking forward tothat legend zelda movie and I

At some point now, televisionseason eight of brick and morty
will be premiering on adult swimon may 25th, a live action
scooby-doo series exploring theorigins of scooby and in the
gang, and it's in works atnetflix from the eraverse and
riverdale's greg for a liveaction series on disney plus

God of war tv series has yet topremiere but it's already lined
up for two seasons, accordingto showrunner ronald d moore.
The crunchyroll and any placehave jointly established a new
anime planning and productioncompany, hayate incorporated,
comprised of anyplexlex andCrunchyroll staff.

Hayate will develophigh-quality anime titles for
the Crunchyroll streamingservice.

As a Rick and Morty fan, ofcourse I'm ready for Season 8.
I did not get around to reviewSeason 7.
I'm not gonna around to reviewseason seven.
I'm not gonna lie.

So what I'm probably gonna dois review season seven and eight
as they come, but consideringhow normally rick and morty have
like 10 episodes each, sochances are rick and Morty will
probably conclude at like I'mguessing around August.

So yeah, I'll do season 7, 8,maybe the anime in August.
Yeah, the live action Scooby Dooseries.
Honestly, I just hope it isleagues better than Velma.

greg Berlanti's on this that'sbecause Velma wanted to be
Riverdale.
So fucking bad that I'm likekinda hoping that it's like,
yeah, see there, this is thereal origin story.
Um, you know, like with a pupnamed scooby-doo and mystery

Those like I consider thosereal prequel stories.

Like it could be differentuniverses, of course, but like
better than zelma.
Honestly, digimon beat yeah,I'm kind of glad that Digimon is
getting its comeback.
Between this and Digimon Time,stranger I'm really hoping for
more honestly, and Power Rangersgetting a live-action series.

I think it's just a new season,but who knows what they got
planned for this one.
That's all I pretty much gottasay.
On television, gaming, nowgaming this is where it gets
kind of thick.
So bear with me on this one.
So Nintendo unveiled pricepoints on the Nintendo Switch 2

console, mario Kart Worldconsole bundle and a slew of
accessories to complete yourround out to your Nintendo
Switch 2 experience, so to speak.
Last I checked on it's own theNintendo Switch 2 is $4.50, but

you know people were talkingabout tariffs and inflation and
who the hell knows what theactual price is.
It's bad enough that pre-ordersgot cancelled too, so it might
go up higher because they'resaying that the parts to make
the Nintendo Switch 2 is gettingmore expensive, so we'll see.
But it was revealed that thedigital edition of Mario Kart

World will cost $80.
But if you're getting theNintendo Switch 2 console and
the whole bundle, it'll be $30less.
While we're at it, I will saythat Kirby's Air Ride is getting
a sequel.
They say a sequel, but I feellike it's more like a remaster
or like a port to it.
There's going to be a newDonkey it Like something like

There's going to be a newDonkey Kong game, donkey Kong
Bonanza, dust Bloods, which islike a FromSoftware multiplayer
game.
Legend of Zelda, hyruleWarriors is getting a sequel.
Age of Imprisonment NintendoGameCube titles are finally
coming to Nintendo Switch Online, like I was been saying, saying

that should have been a thing,but it's going to Nintendo
Switch 2.
So that's my main reason why Iwould get Nintendo Switch 2 at
this point.
A cute thing that Hori accessorymanufacturer Hori is doing they
are having the officialnintendo switch to camera shaped

like the piranha plan frommario, super mario, and I
thought that was kind of cool.
I might get that.
You know when I start streamingand shit.
And there is a new featurewhere you can like share virtual
game cards that treat digitalgames more like physical ones,
including lending them out to afriend.

Uh, while buying digital gameson switch consoles will in the
future, be treated as a virtualgame card that can be loaded,
ejected and shared to otherswitch consoles.
But it comes back in like twoweeks so it'll automatically
return to um, whatnot?
So I know it's kind of cool.
I thought it was cool.

But that's enough about thenintendo switch 2, let's get
into other gaming news.
Marvel rival season 2 beginsapril 11th with new maps, new
skins, new changes to thecharacters and the newest
addition, emma frost, and Icannot wait to play as her
because I saw her gameplay.

I'm digging her.
I really dig her.
I like the way she's puttogether.
Monster hunter wilds has becomethe fastest capcom game ever to
surpass 8 million units.
Oh, congratulations,congratulations.
A new report has outlinedmicrosoft video game hardware
ambition alleged.

A full next-gen xbox is set for2027 and an xbox branded gaming
handheld is due out later in2025.
We'll see, we'll see.
Remember roomscapeuneScape.
So RuneScape is getting aopen-blop survival game called

Dragon Wild and set within theRuneScape universe.
So I'm kind of interested.
I'm going to look into that.
Ghost of Yotei New detailsreiterate that it's going to be
set 300 years after Ghost ofTsushima.

the legend of the ghost will beup to you, okay.
So in a sense, like not adirect sequel, but like it is a

I mean, am I, are we reallysurprised with?
Oh, we're gonna add root boxesthat we're gonna add in card and
in the matches.

game is the fastest selling gameto date, with over 1 million

Super Robot Wars Y is coming toPlayStation 5, nintendo Switch

And just to explain Super RobotWars, it's this gridbased
tactical combat RPG that bringsunits and pilots from a variety
of anime together to battletheir mutual foes.
So it's like, imagine you getMax from Gundam and all that.

Like not all of them is goingto be there.
But I'm kind of interested inwhat the lineup is going to be
this time around, because I usedto play Super Robot Wars.
It was Super Robot Wars W,either that or J, I don't

Robert Kirkman confirmed thatthe Invincible video game is
still in the works, along withofficial announcement teased
with animated key art.

celebrate the 20th anniversaryof the God of War franchise,
sony has announced a slew of newmerch by vinyl soundtracks and

Now, last thing magic gathering, tarkir, dragon storm coming
