CONTENT WARNING:

(Though we don't go into explicit detail of sexual abuse, some topics can be difficult to hear.)

I (Hayden) am so happy to share a deep and meaningful conversation I had with my aunt, Cindy Stain.

After losing her parents in a plane crash, Cindy, along with her five siblings, was orphaned at the age of four. Off to a rocky (understatement) start in life, Cindy had tougher challenges ahead where she would endure ongoing sexual abuse at the age of eight and then completely block it out of her memory as a defense mechanism until it resurfaced in her early 20's.

If there was someone who would be allowed to choose victimhood, it would be Cindy. But, she chooses to live her life as a VICTOR and learns from the seemingly insurmountable hand of cards she was dealt. Cindy has turned the events of her early life into fuel to learn about energy work, healing, service to others, massive acceptance and love for others, forgiveness and perhaps the highest vibrating energy frequency I have ever been in proximity to.

This episode is filled with incredible perspectives on life and trials as well as encouraging words to those who may have experienced big trauma at some point in their life.

Thank you, Cindy, for your time and willingness to share!

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
