Are you ready to unleash your potential and embrace your deepest desires?

I, Cheron Hamner, am here to help you break free from limiting beliefs and rewrite your narrative. In this episode I'm challenging you to confront the programming ingrained in you since childhood. We're going to write down those mental barriers holding you back, and in their place, place positive affirmations. Picture yourself living the reality you've always wished for. Feel it, embrace it and know that you have the power to make it happen.

In this journey it's crucial you set clear goals and surround yourself with the right support system. As we all know, everyone is busy, and your goals may not always be prioritized by others, so staying consistent and persistent when you reach out for help is a must.  Keep dreaming, pushing, and believing, because you're worthy of the best.

It's time to show the world what you're capable of!

Speaker 1 (00:02):
You are listening to.
This Is Some Crazy Shit.
With Sharon Hamner.
This podcast is for you if youare tired of living day to day
feeling unfulfilled, you arefrustrated and you are doing too
much with no return.
This is for you if you areready to take charge of your
life, if you are ready to let goof managing other people's

(00:23):
insecurities and theirexpectations and live life your
way.
Here we have dope conversationsabout saving yourself, so we
can get off these street cornersand stop waiting for Captain
Saviour Ho.
You ready?
Let's go, because this is somecrazy shit.
So you know how computers havean operating system.

(00:46):
We, as human beings, have anoperating system that has been
programmed by the people whoraised us Our parents,
grandparents, teachers, mentorsand we really need to be careful

(01:07):
at who we are allowing to speakto our children.
And I remember a time when I wasin a Girl Scouts and we were on
a field trip at this conventioncenter and on the field trip

(01:28):
there were some vendors in theconvention center selling their
goods and we were going by eachof the shops and there was one
who had tons of fur coats and Iwas about eight years old and I
just found myself going throughthe racks of coats and touching

(01:52):
them and feeling them, and theyfelt so good and amazing.
And I turned to my scout leaderand I told her I said you know,
if my dad was here, he wouldbuy me one of these.
And immediately she shut thatdown.
She's like, oh no, he wouldn't.

(02:13):
And I was like, yes, he would.
If my dad, if my father washere, he would definitely, he
would buy me this coat righthere because I like it.
And so she was adamant no, hewouldn't.
She just shut me down.
And that really hurt me.
I mean, just think about it.
I was eight years old when ithappened and I remember that

(02:37):
moment to this day as like I cansee everything happening in my
head right now, and there are somany moments of dreams being
deferred because somebody toldme that it was not possible for

(02:59):
me.
And I want to tell you that itis possible for you, that you
deserve more and you don't haveto accept that which is given.
And just because somebody toldyou that and I just want to say

(03:20):
that a lot of times thecaregivers, they really just do
that because they want to keepus safe and they've seen some
things that we didn't seegrowing up, and they really,
really, really wanted to protectus, and that's okay.

(03:44):
However, we got to let thatshit go and get back to what
program that we want for ourlives and whatever that more is
for you.
I'm here to tell you youdeserve it.

(04:05):
You deserve to have that carthat you want to drive.
You deserve to have that jobthat you want to have.
You deserve to have thatbusiness that you want to open.
You deserve everything that youwant.
If you thought about it, thatmeans that it's yours.

(04:26):
That means that it's yours, andall we got to do is believe and
ask for it.
A lot of times, like I've heardin Christianity that they say

(04:48):
this thing where oh, if it'sGod's will, then you can have it
.
Well, if God gave me the ideain the dream or gave you the
idea in the dream, then thatmeans that you have the
assignment of making that thinghappen and that it is possible

(05:13):
for you.
So we have to have theownership of it, because God
wants to give us the desires ofour heart and he also wants to
have his people looking goodLike.

(05:34):
I am not into this poorconception of what God wants you
to look like and waiting for aheaven to get all of your
rewards.
I don't know about y'all, but Iwant my heaven here on earth,

(06:01):
and if it's written down that wecan have heaven on earth, then
I believe that it's possible.
But we have to convinceourselves that it is possible
and that we don't have to waitfor our pie in the sky and buy
and buy that we can have moreright here.

(06:24):
And I want to challenge you tolook at the programming that
you've been running on and seewhat needs to be eliminated out
of your life of limitation andlack.
Really, go and write down alist of the things that you were

(06:50):
told that you can have itbecause you're black, you can
have it because you're a woman, you can have it because you're
short, you're tall, whatever itis.
Go back, write those thingsdown and then I want you to
shift that and change that intoa positive mantra that supports

(07:15):
the things that you want to do.
So you are qualified, becauseyou have that idea in your mind,
to get everything that you wantand you deserve it.
So if nobody ever told you thatyou deserve it, I'm here to
tell you that you do deserve itand all of your dreams matter.

(07:39):
Every single one of them ispossible if you just believe.
And believing that you can haveit is the first step.
When I was in Harris School, myowner, the instructor, mr Dudley

(07:59):
he would always say if you canlook up, you can get up.
If you can look up, you can getup.
And if you can look up, you canget up.
But I didn't know what thatmeant for a long time, and what
I know that what it means todayis that you really need to see

(08:20):
it.
You really need to see what ispossible and when you see it,
that creates a vision.
The next step when you see it,get the feeling and the vibe of
you being in those moments withthe thing that you want.

(08:44):
Those two together will makeyou unstoppable.
When you have a vision and whenyou can feel it, you get on the
vibration of you already havingit.
You can't help.
But to get it in your life youdon't need to justify to anybody

(09:08):
.
I'm so tired of y'all explainingyourself to people who don't
even get you.
A lot of them.
They don't even like you.
They don't want you to haveanything.
They don't.
They were just waiting for youto fall.
Stop talking to some of thesepeople and keep something sacred

(09:37):
to yourself and have theconversations that you need with
somebody who has already donewhat you are wanting to
accomplish.
A lot of times, we can getfrustrated because we ask

(09:58):
somebody for help.
We reached out to them.
They didn't call us back, butthese people are busy.
I want to encourage you tofollow up with the people who
you reached out to.
If they offer to help you, morethan likely they are being

(10:23):
sincere about helping you tohelp you hit your goal.
Just be consistent withreaching out, because you're not
at the top of their mind.
Like I said, everybody has alot going on.
Many people, especially, have alot going on and they have

(10:47):
their own agendas.
Just like you have your agendaand you're going to stay focused
on your agenda and get thingsdone.
It's all about getting thingsdone, because you deserve the
best and you can have the best.
Whatever the best is for you, keep going, keep dreaming, keep

(11:11):
pushing, keep believing.
