So... How to choose the right category?
⚠️ Be careful: if you list your podcast in a category that does not correspond to it at all, the platforms may totally exclude it from their catalog ⚠️
1️⃣ If possible, choose a sub-category that corresponds to the theme of your podcast. This has a double advantage:
✔️ It is more precise and your future audience will find you more easily according to their interests
✔️ You will not only be referenced in this sub-category but also in the main category!
2️⃣ Category rankings are a great opportunity for your podcast. If your show corresponds to several categories, focus on the one that is the least competitive: you will have much more chance to appear in the top of this category, to gain places in the rankings of the platforms and therefore to gain listeners and visibility! 📈
