How To Handle Objections?
When we call prospective clients, we tend to be faced with an objection. Tune in to this week's episode of the Total Fit Boss Chick to get all the details to turn objections to loyal customers!
Smokescreen
To handle a call where the client is objecting, you need to figure out if it's just a smokescreen. The key feature of a smokescreen conversation is when they don't give an actual reason why their prices have gone up or whatever other issue may be bothering them.
Listen and Acknowledge
When the client begins to raise the smokescreen, you need to listen to them and acknowledge their reason. If you continue to pitch without acknowledging what they have told you, they're most likely annoyed and do not want to entertain what you have to say; hence, active listening is a crucial skill for a salesperson.
Hook
After acknowledging their objection, you need to say something that will surprise them. This will allow you to peak their interest, and they would want to continue listening to you. If you aren't sure what to say, go back to your value proposition. From here, you can briefly talk about what you can offer.
Set a Meeting
Lastly, set a meeting! Many people tend to leave this out, but it's very powerful! Ask them when they are free or what time best works for them for you to address your pitch properly.
We've learned how important it is to prospect and qualify leads by using techniques and insights mentioned on the show. Remember, this is just a highlight. You won't want to miss all the details; tune in to this week's episode on the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast!
