As I think back to over thirty years ago, I couldn't have imagined being where I am today. How I wish this one would have been grasped early, and I am still learning daily to understand it. This letter is a personal and transparent insight into Nikkia and journey through life as a 15-year-old girl Although I now look back with gratitude for the experiences that brought me to this path of helping others, I wrote a letter to my younger self with the wisdom and experience of a 44-year-old woman who has overcome so much and made it out the other side.
