So Kindly tell me what is your job.
Oh, my goodness well. I'm a mom first.

That's my that's my first and foremost
role. But after that, I am, the owner
of Managing Directors of Linked Tourism,
as well as a little side job of
Ceo.
For a whole other company outside of the
industry, so keeping keeping myself reasonably a. I
gonna say something. Very busy. Nice, mom. To
me. About the mom heart. Yeah. I got

a 6 year old boy.
He's doing super. Yeah. Yeah. So school. Yeah.
Well you know what we held in back
a year. So he's in prep, which is
the kind of queensland equivalent of Kidney. Right.
Yes. Right.
Year 1 next year. Children are such a
delight to tonight finally. Oh, this... You know,
he's
85
percent of the time, the the biggest draw

in life. And the other 15, that's what
I channel.
But the time channel. Yeah.
So what do you like most about your
job? Was doing want different jobs. Yeah. To
me about the travels. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely.
Just the variety, we've got... You know, we're
an agency,
representing

a number of destinations as well as products,
focusing on the Usa, but also Japan. So
even within that statement, you can hear the
variety. But then when you drill down
into the Usa for instance. We're representing 4
different states, and they are so different and
so diverse in landscape and culture.

And it's just understanding all of that, and
then working with my team. I've got a
really strong leadership team that kind of run
the show and I just sort of stand
above and all and make sure it's all
working the way that it's supposed to and
step in on the very occasion that I
need to step in, but,
the pleasure to watch them do what they
do so so well. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Now,

that's terrific. Yeah. Now being in the travel
industry, where do you go for holidays Oh,
great question. You know, we live,
we live in such a great spot that
we often say,
I'm, my goodness. Where would we leave home?
Because we've got everything,
you know, everything you want in the ego
go way for, But Honestly, when we travel

our most recent holiday to Fiji,
because of because it's a a great family
destination, obviously.
But oliver of my son, the ea come
to America with us. We drove from,
Colorado through
Utah over to Nevada, but spend some time
in Anaheim and L.
So he's done all that by the time
he like 5,

which is hilarious and never remember it.
Long time to take it back again. Right.
Y'all. I we, I think we're taking in

Japan,
my favorite place...
1 of my favorite places on earth
is, Paris and and France, and I was
just there in August.

Visiting my nephew is playing for to lose.

of years in the league over there, which
is amazing. Just want just was in the
grandfather, but, unfortunately, they stuff.

prefer documentaries and and educational
and so I can't anything else.
Watching a good doc slightly.
I say that I really the nice documentary
we watch with Beckham, which
yeah. I'm doing it. All any sports. Bring
sailor do you for assignment or
no. That's to that's a hobby.

I follow anything like religiously. Mh. But I
will watch to, you know, the grand slide
tennis. Yep. I will watch,
rugby league finals. I don't watch it all

My dad was a first first grade rugby

travel experience or a draw jaw dropping moment
where you've thought?
I cannot believe.
I'm doing this or I'm seeing this.
Yeah. I've had some really good ones and

Swimming with Med rays of maui,
unfortunately, named know which has just been absolutely.
And I was definitely a highlight. Like, I
absolutely enough to we did a 7 day,
small ship, bench cruise at the Hawaiian Diamonds
with un cruise,

plug for them, and
Yeah. It was it was magical. Think it
was like 25
staff for 22 passengers,
just 5 staff food all the way.
Free john up to the bar,
and just did some beautiful,
you know, all here it is. All sea
related, you know, kayak king.

And diving and then that... Yeah. The assuming
with the man raise was up there. But,
I mean, there's been so many. I, it's
really hard,
you know, flying over the remarkable in New
Zealand was a a big memory for me
and landing on a glacier at the top
and just looking at the expanse, flying I
don't know. That... You know, this those moments
yeah. Even into Mil for sound. I remember,
yeah. The first time I went in there

was dark.
Really cloudy and eerie.
I know it was spooky but beautiful, and,
you know, it's just those, like,
And and I've got a mac at my
front door of the world, which... It's like
those, you know, the black mats, and he
colored them in the color comes up. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so I've got... I've
colored in all the places have been around
the world of, you know, we could point

any 1 other them Could probably tell you
magic story. Yeah. Yeah. You know, it's amazing
easy. Yeah.
So just to finish off,
but have you got any words of wisdom
or advice for younger women who are, coming
into the industry. I mean, you're... You know,
you're going down this sort of
representation.
Right. Yeah. Yep. As opposed to perhaps

traditional
travel don't. Yeah.
Where a.
Interesting.
Look,
A lot of where I've gone has come
organically.
And a lot of it just through networking
as well. And
inserting yourself as much as possible

as many places as possible.
And and really having a thirst and the
hunger to understand how all of the pieces
of the pie come together. And but, you
know, it's such a small industry and not
just in Australia. Like,
I guess 1 piece of advice would be,
don't burn your bridges because you're gonna run
into people all around the world
that are connected.

Another 1 is just to be your authentic
self. I'm definitely,
because everyone tells me. I don't think I'm
that different, But apparently I'm quite different to
most.
And,
they, you know, people are, like, you do
you. And and sometimes people
saying you do you, but then they're horrified
when you do you. You know? And I'm
like, nah,

my recommendation to to young ones is be
genuinely authentic. I saying that I really am
passionate about that's
authenticity is a privilege.
And
if you do you and you do it
really well with respect and kindness always.
Don't hurt anybody along the way, but just
