Eight years prior to Chelsea's fateful encounter with a stranger in a white van, Michael Ayers, like Chelsea and her boyfriend, was a person down on his luck. Michael was determined to turn his life around after serving prison time and worked hard at it. Unfortunately, a car accident in 2004 set him back financially and left him without transportation. A man who befriended him at the gym came to his aid and showered him with kindness, however, followed by a strange and startling proposition.
