We continued to look at the contrast between the "faith of God" (the law of Moses) and the "faith of Christ" (our body of doctrine for today.) This is the "from faith to faith" of Romans 1:17. None of the "faith of Christ" verses demonstrate that Jesus needed to have faith during his earthly ministry, as some claim. Today, using context and consistency we will continue to make our case by showing how the "faith of Christ" in Philippians 3:9 is clearly defined within the verse it is found. We will also take a closer look at the grammar in Romans 4:5.
